Where can I find "locals"?

how do you "speak to 10 locals"? it is a prerequisite for a gold key and i don't understand. just talking to characters standing around doesn't seem to work. HELP PLEASE! :)

Found it. Your character can do "fun gestures" with the directional pad when standing still. Using those to interact with any of the "locals" standing around will constitute "speaking" to them. Thanks though!

Id guess that Locals are the people who know info about th areas and give back ground about the different zones. Its also possible the 'locals' are the Buddies you talk to who can join your games. I'd start with looking for the info people first. Also, might be common sense but check your balloon messages, they might have a key clue as well
