Super Mario Galaxy

"The Greatest Mario game out there"
As we all should know, Super Mario Galaxy is the third 3D Adventure game out there. The game has been rated "Pretty Nice" or "Good but not too good", but I don't think they fully understand the awesomeness Super Mario Galaxy has to show. This game isn't just colors and going from planet to planet. There is more than that like swiming underwater for treasure, fighting unique bosses, tossing shells, collect Stars, racing against Pengiuns, Killer Whales, Alien clones of yourself, Boos. That is just some of the things you do in this masterpiece.
The controls are easy to remember, A to jump and B to shoot Star Bits. If you shake the Wiimote you can make Mario do a thing called a Star Spin, this is the move that is used the most. It can help you from falling down the edge. Some of the unique features from the past 3D Mario game are coming back like the Long Jump, Triple Jump, Pound Ground, and the old fashion Wall Jump.
Super Mario Galaxy is probably has the best graphics out of all the Wii games out there. Mario looks like a 3D masterpiece. The way they make the enemies makes me think they're real! You might see a Cosmic Scuttle Bug and think "I bet it has no hair" but when you look closely, it does! They also made the bricky floors very realistic.
Space isn't just blank and boring, Nintendo has made it a lot more than that, shooting stars flying by, and also blackholes!
This story is like almost every Mario game, Bowser kiddnaps Peach and Mario has to save her. There are many plot twist such as Luigi being in the story to go after Power Stars for you, collecting Power Stars and Grand Stars.
The music is perfect at every place! For example the music at a ghost galaxy sounds eerie. There are also music from previous games like Level 1-1 from Super Mario Brothers and Super Mario Brothers 3.
The sound is amazing! The little clinging sound when you walk on metal planets, and the swish sound when every you swim, the sound when walking through grass, and walking on water.
Replay Value: 10/10
If you collect everything as Mario and you think your done, guess what? Your not. After you beat the game once *Spoilers here* Luigi is playable and you can do a harder version of the game *end spoilers*. If you want to play as Mario start a new file. There are also special comets that pass by. There are three of them. Purple Comet, Daredevil Comet, and Cosmic Comet. The Purple Comet makes 100 Purple Coins appear, if you collect them all you get a Power Star. The Daredevil Comet makes you have one hit and you must defeat a boss without being hit. Finally, there is the Cosmic Comet. It makes a Shadowy form of your character and you must race it to get a star.
