"Mario blasts off in another adventure"
A game of Epic proportions!
A little misc
Looks like our famous Mr.Video Game is back. In space? Ahh, Our Mario sets out to galaxies for his beloved. Mario started out climbing construction sites to crossing galaxies. How amazing. Well this game doesn't disappoint.
Game play 10/10
Ahh the feel of 3D platforming goodness. The game features you controlling Mario with a Wiimote and Numb chuck Combo to go through many galaxies to get stars and special stars you obtain as Grand stars. You go through portals to get to the galaxies from the Observatory which is the game's hub. You also collect starbits which you can use to increase your life count or use them as projectiles. They also can be used to feed hungry Lumas for new areas or new galaxies. You can collect them with the wii cursor. Mario's ultimate defense is the Luma spin which he uses to strike, activate, swim and fly. It is your ultimate move. The good ole Fire power up is back which is used for puzzling. But now we have Bee power, Ice Power, Rainbow power, Boo Power and Spring power which you must use to solve puzzles or defeat enemies. The game starts out easy but gets terrible difficult. Mario starts out with 3 energy bars but you can get the red mushroom to boost it to Six. Good thing its cake to get 1 ups. Plenty of bosses and puzzles. Enjoy.
Same old story. Peach gets kidnapped and you must save her from Bowser. But, Bowser is in the middle of the Universe with you use the power of the grand stars to get to Peach and beat Bowser. But, with Bowser Jr. and Kamek things may turn tricky.
Koji never ceases to amaze me. Him and the composers outdone themselves. Plenty of themes and tunes. The music is an amazing experience to all gamers. Ever tune is one time and with its orchestra its beautiful. Plus, there is an amazing remix to the old Mario theme.
The controls start out tough and takes a little bit of an hour to master. Things can get edgy and the camera can be improved. Wii remote and Numb chuck combo makes things difficult but with time it will feel like you've been playing it for years.
Must have for any wii owner. Super Mario Galaxy brings a new experience to play. Don't rent. Buy. Thank you Nintendo and Miyamoto for this excellent game. Sky_Luigi Out.
