"Best Game on the Wii yet!!!"

This is one of the best wii games to date. The graphics are awesome, the story is epic, and the controls work great. If you only want a few wii games, this is one that you need to get. To find out why, read the rest of the review.

Story

Bowser captures Peach......again. Although the story isn't all about saving Peach. One main part of the story is restoring power back to the Observatory by collecting stars. There is a huge backstory to the lumas and Rosalina. I won't delve into the story anymore, because I don't want to ruin it for you.

Gameplay

Gameplay is pretty basic. A to jump. Point and press B to shoot star bits. Flick the remote to spin Mario. The spin move can also be used to jump a little higher. It is great save if you miss a ledge while jumping. One thing that I would like to bring up is the camera. Sometimes it doesn't point the way you need it, which can make you unable to see what is in front of you. This can get annoying. Most of your deaths will be because of camera problems.

Graphics

Super Mario Galaxy is possibly the best looking wii game yet. All of the galaxies are beautifully designed. They are very colorful and detailed. There are some cutscenes which look great. Although you can't skip them, which can get annoying sometimes.

Sound

The music is fully orchestrated. Galaxy has a great soundtrack. Although the tunes aren't really addicting, they fit the galaxies great. Also the sounds for the characters are beautiful.

Replayability

There is a lot to do in Super Mario Galaxy. With 120 stars to collect, you will have your hands full. There are also "comets" which will appear at random planets. They will make the planet harder in some way. Just to name a few, Speedy Comets have you complete the level in 4 minutes, and Daredevil comets have you defeat a boss with only one health bar. Overall, you will find around 10-15 hours of game time.

Overall

Super Mario Galaxy is great. It is one of the best wii games out there. Beautiful background and character designs, hours of gameplay, and a great storyline are just some of the wonders you will find. It is definitely a buy, there is way to much to do to just rent it.
