How Do I Jump Backwards Off Of Epona?

I Was Watching This Video Of This Kid Starting His Game New (On The Gamecube Version) Of Twilight Princess And He Went And Got Epona From Ilia At The Spring Then Went To The Closed Gate Leading To Faron Woods.He First Backed Up Epona To Where She Had Her Face Turned Away From The Fence,Then When She Wouldn't Go Anymore He Made Her Rise Up To Where She Was On Her Back Legs,Then Link Jumped Off Of Her And Flew Into The Fence And Got Through To The Other Side.I Am At That Part,But I Can't Get Link To Jump Off Of Epona Into The Fence.I Have The Wii Version Of Twilight Princess So Can You Only Flip Off Of Her In The Gamecube Version?I Wanted To Get Through The Game WITHOUT Having The Hero's Clothes And Just Go In My Ordon Clothes.Please Help Me! :(

Nevermind Guys I Found Out How To Get Through It On My Own.I Went To The Gate Where You First Enter Hyrule Field With Epona And Faced Her Towards The Gate In The Middle Of The Fence,And Got My Wooden Sword Out And Jump Attacked The Left Hole And Got Through.
