How come my Wii isn't reading any discs?

For some reason, my Wii can't read any of my game discs. I got a Wii Cleaning Kit, used it, and tried it out with a GC disc, whiched worked. But when I switched it for a Wii disk, it's back to square one.

Make sure the wii games are pointing the right way. make sure the side where it says the name of the game is on the side of the wii where it has the nintendo logo. read the wii instruction booklet if you don't understand what i'm saying. it can explain it better.

It could be a dirty disc or a damaged lens, but this happened to my Wii and I unfortunately had to send it in for repair.
