Question from dillo9000
Gamecube Memory Card?
I play Super Smash Bros. Melee on my wii. the other day my sister kicked the console and now it can't read a memory card in Slot A. It says "No Memory Card in Slot A. Would you like to continue without loading or saving game data?" When i go to gamecube memory, it can read it if i put the memory card in Slot B, but the game doesn't check if there's a memory card in slot B, just slot A. What should i do?
Formatting it didn't work, even though it still seems to work fine in Slot B.
In that case it's your Wii thats broken so either return it to Nintendo or send it to your local reputable independent console repairer for repair.

You'll have to format it as the entire card has been corrupted, see here for how to do it: www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/qna/930752.html?qid=24336
