How does the wii in fact work?

I have never played the wii, and i don't really know how it really works.Is it cool to play tennis or boxing, does it really capture your movements...

It's really awesome because it senses your motion. Swinging left to right, it feels good. Baseball feels so real, too. Boxing is like punching someone else. The best is Wii Fit, because Yoga relieves stress and strength builds up muscle.
