Question from thehelpfulgamer
How many bits?
I've looked through system specs, but I can't figure out how many bits the Wii runs on. The only mention I found on the Wiki page was in the processor section... but it says 32-bit.
I thought, that can't be right, the N64 is a 64-bit system, how can the Wii be only 32?
So.... did we go from the 8-bit era to 16, to 64, to whatever the GameCube was... and then down to 32? If so, how and why?
That is just one part of the processing power. If you notice on the wiki page it has other information on the processors. So don't worry. It is more power than a Nintendo 64.
