Leave the game on? or turn off and on?

Sorry about the question title...wasn't sure how to word it..lol
Okay my situation is this...I play AC:CF probably 3 times a day, for an hour or so each time. Each time, I restart the game.. play for a bit.....then I "save".....and then hit HOME on my remote so that I go back to my Wii Menu.
Instead of doing that 3 times a day, would it be better on the game cd and the Wii console to just leave the game on.....so I'm still in my town...maybe leave my character standing in front of my house? Or does it hurt anything to shut it off and on like that?
I not referring to the situation concerning the grass and restarting alot.....I'm talking more about the wear on the cd and console....
Thanks for any advice...:-)

It truly depends. If you leave it on, you risk overheating (very unlikely for the Wii unless your Wii has a history of it), you produce more carbon emmisions (which is important to some people, but It won't affect anything "In Game"

I personally in your case would leave it on, because every time you turn your Wii on and off, your grass gets worn out a little bit, so if you turn your wii on and off, your grass gets worn out 3 times, but if you leave it on, your grass only gets worn out once... so your grass won't be taht bad if you leave it on.

In my opinion it'd be better to just turn it off than to leave it on. You could end up overheating the game and console if you left it on all day.
