Is it true that I need this one to play Accent Core Plus?

I want to know before I buy Plus. Yes I have access to the original if someone needs to know for some reason.

No. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is not needed to play Guilty Gear XX Accent Core.

Accent Core plus is an improved version of this game with more characters, a story mode that is not in Accent Core, and the game's soundtrack is also bundled.
