"Guitar Hero III good or bad?"

Most people have either heard of or played one game in the Guitar Hero series. Whether that be Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80s or Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. On the Wii this game is awesome with your Les Paul controller being wireless and no cords necessary this is a great game for old and young.

Now most people know how to play a Guitar Hero game but (if your like me) you may not have found out until very recently or haven't found out at all. Well what happens when you play is you have a controller thats shaped like a controller (specifically the Les Paul guitar model). Instead of strings you have a "Strum Bar" which is basically just a bar that moves up and down. Also instead of 23 frets to hold you get 5 buttons to hold and/or press. When you play the game this screen shows up and starts rolling towards you. Eventually you start to see some colors in a specific position. These colors represent which button you must press. You press or hold the button you see and strum as the note scrolls over the bottom of the screen. If you press to fast however your Wii Remote makes a clicking noise telling you missed. Guitar Hero offers 4 difficulty settings to choose from; Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. In Guitar Hero III Easy uses just three of the five fret buttons; Green (first) Red (second) and Yellow (Third) and each difficulty after that adds one; IE Medium adds the blue button (fourth) and Hard adds the Orange button (fifth). Expert however uses all of them in a very complex system of button pressing and strumming.

This game also includes a wide variety of songs. With a total of 71 songs you can play this game for hours and not get bored. Also bring over a friend who has it and you can both jam with either Co-Op career mode or Multiplayer mode where you can battle just like a boss battle in regular career.

There were only two problems I found with this game one was that the Game comes with only one guitar for Wii and separate Guitars are not available on that game system and the other is that the game has a problem with the sound so that it only operates in Mono so if you have a big surround system it's totally useless.

I give this game a 9/10 rating because of those two problems with it. It's nearly perfect just wait until a re release comes out and they ship out more guitars.
