"The Rabbids Have Returned!"
Rayman Raving Rabbids was a big hit on the Wii with crazy characters and minigames. All of which were very funny and original. And now they're all back again for more crazy fun in the sequel Raving Rabbids 2
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a wild party game with lots of action and fun. It seems the Rabbids are after Earth and they're more crazy than ever before. I mean hey they attacked a news reporter. In the intro movie you'll not only see an attacked news announcer but Rayman sneaking into the Rabbids HQ with his "very good" Rabbid costume.
Inside the Rabbid HQ, which is actually a mall, you have your main menu where you can do things like customizing your own Rabbid or just playing some mini games.
You can't acces free play at first because you must win the mini games in Trip Mode which is just a series of 5 mini games.
You have 5 different trips to choose from USA, Europe, South America, Asia, and the Tropics. Most of the mini games will realte to the country of the trip in some way. For example in Asia they have a game where your Rabbid must balance and spin plates on a stick. There are lots of mini games to play and they range from: Talking on your cell phone in a movei theartre, Goofing Off at work, PLaying football, and even destroying a city with a humungus burp. And thats just a little bit of what this game has to offer you.
All of the mini games have easy to use controls which usually just involve twisting the remote, or just holding it up. While that doesn't really seem fun at first you can really get into some of these games. While this game only has 45 mini games (which is less than the first one) they are all arguably better. Some games may get boring to you the second time around and theres really no single player, but you can fix that by inviting some friends over because thats really where this game shines, its multiplayer.
Along with its mini games this game also includes some other features such as shotting games. The shooting game is like none that you've ever seen before. Not only are there crazy Rabbids there that you can shoot with plungers, but it all takes place in real world locations which gives you a whole new feel. You actually see the waters of a real beach. Its almost like taking a trip. There are 5 Shooting games that you can unlock by playing a trip.
Also while playing all these games you have the chance to win costumes to customize your very own Rabbid. Rabbid customization is very fun and you'll probably do it even before you play a mini game. At first you start off with a very minimal selection of costumes for your Rabbid, which are seperated by three categories: Hats, shirts, and full suits. The only downside to the costumes is that you can only put one from each category on at a time.
So you can't have a Ninja Turtle mask while wearing a fruithat. Even still there are many wacky possibilities. You can unlock more costumes by beating the first placer's (always Globox) highscore (usually 12,000), or by shooting the right Rabbid in the shooting game.
Other than mini games theres not much else to this game although a story would have been awesome. This game has good graphics and some pretty catching music.
Overall I would say to buy it because it is definately worth $50 ecspcially if you have friends or siblings to play with. This game will keep you busy for quite a while, while you play mini games, customize Rabbids, or whatever it is you plan on doing in this game.
So if your looking for a game to pass some time away, or just waiting for another game to come out, or just need something new to play, you should pick up Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. Whether you buy or rent it you will have a lot of fun and laugh your pants off.
