What is the best combination to get star ranking in 150cc grand prix cups?

I'm trying to get dry bowser in the 150cc grand prix cups and have been trying to find the best combos to get star rank but I've tried everything that everyone else has posted on all sorts of sites and every time I try I keep losing and can't get star rank on any of the 150cc cups. It's getting to be very frustrating. Please help somebody. :(

Daisy/Dolphin Dasher

Depends mainly on what stats you perform best with. Personally, I use Automatic Drifting, and like bikes with high Speed/Drift bonuses. Bullet Bike + Baby Luigi/Peach/Daisy's probably my recommendation, or Sprinter + Medium Mii if you use Manual drift.

Yes that is sad :-( But don't get frustrated! Being frustrated isn't good, it only makes me mad! I use Atomatic Drifting, and I like Daisy on the Dolphin Dasher, and Baby Daisy on the Blue Falcon or Cheep charger, and another, Meduim Mii on the Daytripper or Dolphin Dasher.

i beat mine on that with baby Mario in the tiny titan

Daisy/Mach Bike
OR
Diddy Kong/Wild Wing

I used my medium mii on the mach bike.

Luigi and the dolphin dasher is the best combination. That's how I got to 9999.

It's all you, test everyone on everything in time trial if you need too. i did that. yet i still have trouble with the old 150cc it's in my opinion that every character and every kart should only be on certain courses. but my best so far is:
king boo-standard bike L-automatic

The best combination is Funky / Flame Runner

I feel your anger! It was the hardest cup to beat for that star. Mirror cup was nothing compared to it! I used my mii with the Dolphin bike and the Mach bike. My advice, take breaks when you feel the rage. Good luck!!

I used Bowser Jr. and the Dolphin Dasher. I honestly think the Dolphin on manual is the best, the character doesn't really matter.

Ok, I'm Not Perfect, but I have a perfect combo for certain races. I Hope My Combos Will Help You :)
Speed Combos:
Small:Baby Daisy+Bullet Bike
Med:Daisy/Mii+Mach Bike
Large:Funky Kong+Bowser Bike/Flame Runner/Spear
Speed Is the 2nd Most Important Stat in the game (Probably). Its how fast Your car/Bike will go. Though, your low Accel. can make you fall behind quick. recommended for PROS.

Accel. Combos:
Small:Toad+Bit Bike (Not Recommended Since Of Out Drift :()
Med: Peach+Sugerschoot (Look Above)
Large:Wawigi+Wario Bike (NOT AGAIN!!! OUT DRIFT!!)
Accel. Is The Most Important Stat in the Game. Its Your Recovery Speed. OH NO!! Bump into a bike Durning A Wheelie? You Wanna Get your Speed Up QUICK. Use Accel. For Fast recovery. Recommended for beginners :)

off-Road Combos:
Small:Toadette+Magnikruster
Med:Yoshi+Dolthin Dasher
Large:Dry Bowser+Phantom(OUT DRIFT!!!)
Off-road Is Your off-Road speed. You Mostly Need It in shy Guy Beach. It is very easy to handle. Recemmended for Everyone :)
