Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
*******************************************************************************

***************
1. Introduction
***************

Poyudi Hytori here, to make it easier, call me Sol. Anyway, So far there are no
FAQ’s for this game out. And so I'm beginning one. I'll be uploading this in
parts that way you gamers stuck at the beginning can find your way out of
trouble. Anyway, this is basically Tales of Symphonia 2. For those who don't
know, this is a sequel to Tales of Symphonia, a great game. Guess the game had
enough fans to make another one. This is the 3rd Tales game I've played, so I
know a bit about the game. In this one, you play Emil, a blonde boy who is very
unsure about himself. So let's start playing!

I started this FAQ back in 11/18/08. However I deleted my save file by mistake
and soon after my laptop broke. Well now I have a new laptop, so I'm finshing
this FAQ now.

Version 0.01 - 11/18/08
The basic outline and introduction is done.

Version 0.11 - 11/18/08
Most of the basic things are done, Walkthrough about to be started.

Version 0.25 - 11/20/08
I have chapter one and much of chapter two done.

Version 0.70 - 11/??/08
When I last did this I had it done all the way to the earth temple in chapter
6. It's now 5/2/09 and I'm going to get my game back to that point, and finish
this FAQ.

Version 1.00 - 05/08/09

I've finally finished this workthrough. Time to check the grammer then
upload. After I'll begin adding a little here and there to improve the
walkthrough.

Version 2.00 - 09/03/09 - 09/07/09

I've added a section for Side-Quests, Titles, and Recipes. I have also added
to the main walkthrough so you can just follow it to do the Side-Quests, get
the Recipes, and the titles. The only Side-Quest I didn't add (That I know
about.) Is Gladsheim.

I've also gone through and fixed many mistakes in the main walkthrough that I
made.

4. Controls
***************

I know the WII can use different controllers, however for this game. You only
have one choice, the WII remote with the Nunchuk. Sorry everyone, not my fault.

I'm taking the controls from the game's manual, something everyone should read
hefore playing the game. (Even though I never do.)

5. Monster Pacts
***************

During battle, each elemental Arte will change one of the minor elements. When
three elements are the same, the main element changes to that element. The 3
minor elements that changed the major one will disappear. After that you need
to make four minor elements match the major one, during such time, any monster
you kill is up for a pact. Though you can only get one per battle. (I think
it’s picked randomly from the ones you spellbound.)

At the end of the battle, pick yes to the pact, if you had monsters in battle
with you, you can pick one to help in the pact. I believe the stars are as
followed, however if I'm wrong Email me please.

No Stars - Doesn't help you.

1 Star - Helps a little.

2 Stars - Helps a good amount.

3 Stars - Helps out a great deal.

The monsters level the same as the characters do.

~~~~~~~~~~
Feed them.
~~~~~~~~~~

You can cook to make your monsters stronger at any Katz store. The heart means
they'll love it, and the Music note means they'll like it. The others mean the
monsters won't like it, or hate it. If the monsters have an Orange Icon, they
are ready to move onto the next stage. If I was you, I'd wait to evolve it, as
most monsters have more than one thing they can change into. Oh and a monster
will keep 20% of their stats after evolving, and as it evolves, the monster
will return to its base form. You can keep leveling it and evolving it to
keep gaining stats. But I think of it as cheating, and as it's boring to spend
the time doing it.

***************
6. Characters
***************

To be completed soon. (Will fill in as the people appear in the game.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
6C. Other important Characters
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

These are story characters that never actually join your party.

``````````
Ratatosk
``````````

Some say the Demon Lord, others say the summon spirit of the first mana tree,
others say the guardian of the gate to the demon world. Wait a minute!!!!
Who the heck is this guy? All we know for sure, is he's asleep, on Marta's
forehead and you need to awaken his subjects to awaken him. Oh joy.

``````````
Aqua
``````````

She is a Centurion. However she has turned her back on Ratatosk and the
monsters she is suppose to control. Apparently causing the Lake that Luin use
to sit on, to disappear, and water monsters to go out of control. She also
seems to be in love with Richter.

````````````````````````
Alice, The Cute Sadist.
````````````````````````
Alice is called a Sadist, and well, she is. She loves causing pain in people.
She also tries to act as cute as possible. When she gives a female a nick-name,
that means she hates that person, when she gives a male a nick-name, it means
she likes him. She's an odd funny girl.

````````````````````````
Decus, The hopeless lover. AKA Dumbo-Decus.
````````````````````````

Decus is hopelessly in love with Alice, so much so he try's every posiable scam
to make her love him, Charms, Potions, Gifts, Following her every comand. It's
actualy kind of sad in a way. As Alice pretty much abuses him at every turn.
Though Decus could care less. To know when he near by is easy, he wears the
wrost smelling cologne in history, "Eau de Seduction". Oh and he think's Emil
is in love with him because of the Cologne.

```````````````````````
Brute
```````````````````````

Marta's father and the leader of the vanguard.

```````````````````````
Yuan
```````````````````````

Yuan fell in Love with Martel and asked her to marry him, However she died
before that could happen. Yuan is a Half-Elf who in the last game started out
as Lloyd's enemy, but became his friend. After the event's in the last game,
he now spends his time at the world tree, forever protecting Martel as he can
live forever.

```````````````````````
Martel
```````````````````````

Martel, even though known as a goddess, was a half-elf, and Mithos's sister.
She together with Mithos, Yuan, and Lloyd's true father ended the war that
destoryed the great tree. However she was killed right after by a human for
being a Half-Elf. After that alot happened in the last game, and she was
reborn as the Summon Spirit Martel.

``````````````````````````````````````
Corrine, The Summon spirit of Heart.
``````````````````````````````````````

Corrine is an Artifical Summon Spirit made in Meltokio, she was Loved by
Sheena. However Corrine died to protect Sheena. In a side-quest for the last
game, Corrine was Reborn as the Summon Spirit of Heart because of Sheena's
Love. It was then he was Renamed as Verius.

7. Walkthrough
***************

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7A. Introduction to walkthrough.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'll try to keep this a spoil free walkthrough. However I may make references
to the first game, Tales of Symphonia. Though those should not reveal anything.
I plan to add more than a Basic Walkthrough in the future, such as a Bosses
guide for when you only need help with the bosses. Anyway, hope this proves
helpful.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7B. Clear Data
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If you load completion data from TOS, You'll randomly get one of many sets.
Normally earning you between 5,000 glad to 50,000 glad (That I know of.) In
items or pure glad. (For this walk through I did load the data.) Let's see...
This time I get... "Glad Set" How Interesting. and that gives me, 10,000 glad.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7C. Chapter 1: World in Discord.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Okay, after the cut scenes, You can look at your items and such. The items you
start out with should be...

Amethyst - 1
Life Bottle - 8
Orange Gel - 15
Apple Gel - 15
Glad - 100

Equipped - Bronze Sword, Leather Plate.

Anything else will be there because of the Clear data. You'll also notice that
Emil has no artes, and can gain no exp. Not good huh? don't worry that will
change soon.

Anyway, this is your room; you can use the bed for free anytime to sleep,
which completely heals you. There’s nothing else here, so let's go out the only
door here.

After a cut scene, you can talk to the woman (Emil's aunt I think.). But
there's nothing else to do in here. (Not even an item.) So let's leave this
place as well. Your room is through the door on the left, so to leave go down.

This is the Town of Luin, feel free to look around. In this area you'll find
your house, an inn, an Equipment store, Sheena's Statue. Let's go in the shop
for now. Amethyst doesn't really do anything to help you, and you can sell it
for 16,560 glad. So sell it! That's a lot of Glad. Now, you can sell any other
items you have that you'd like. If you’re new, Keep the Gels and Life Bottle
for Boss battles, if you’re not, then sell them for 4,928 Glad in all. You may
have other items from the Data loading. So do what you wish with those. Now, if
you have 50,000 Plus Glad, go ahead and buy one Bandanna and one Leather
Gauntlets. If not, don't worry, you don't need them. Oh and, Use the Synthesize
Menu as you wish, however I won't be using it much for this walkthrough. Back
outside, head down from the store, and exit through the lower left.

You'll come to a new area, which has a general store, The mayor, Raine's
statue, as well as the chapel. If you go inside the store, You go up the stairs
to see the Mayor. In the general store, Buy 2 boots and Equip them on Emil.
Well that's all that's here. By either going back to the Inn area and going to
the upper left exit, or by going to the left lower exit, you'll be in the final
area of Luin, which has the Fountain and a way to leave Luin.

During a cut scene where you get yelled at by two boys. You’re asked what to do,
Swear or don't Swear. If you’re trying for the best ending, pick "Don't Swear"
if you want the Normal ending, then Swear. Pick which ever. I picked
"Don't Swear" After the Scene, go back to the area with the general store, You
should see a man with red hair there. Talk to him. After, you'll have a chance
to see you’re first Skit. Look in the lower right of the screen to see the C
button displayed with some words. Press the C button to view the skit.

Okay, now that that's done. Go back to the area that has the fountain. Go to
the exit all the way left for another scene. Well, Let's follow the story and
leave Luin, oh and the save point is in the inn if you wish to save, or you can
save on the world map.

``````````````````
Lake Sinoa Cave
``````````````````

Go to Lake Sinoa Cave. Which will throw you into your first battle. Just try
not to die. This battle is a good example of a tutorial battle. You can't
damage the bear no matter what. You'll be saved by a girl, This time round you
can damage and kill the bear. So do it. And you get nothing. No exp, No Glad,
No Nothing. After the scene, go back to Luin.

``````````````
Luin
``````````````

You'll want to go to the mayor's place. Remember, go to the General Store and
go up the stairs inside. Exit the Mayor's place for more scenes, And where
Richter Join's you. Richter joins you as a Guest. His Lvl, Title, Equipment,
and stats will never change. Except by story events. You can however Equip his
skills. Do so now. After Leave Luin.

``````````````````
Lake Sinoa Cave
``````````````````

It's the Cave again. But with a somewhat over leveled guest in your party. this
will be easy. Head left to see a destroyed ship. Hidden to the right is a chest
with one life bottle in it. Go back to the main path and move forward this
time. After the scenes, you’re in the cave; now move forward until the next
scene. You'll get thrown into a tutorial battle. In these battles no one can be
damaged until after all the information has been given. Read the words on the
top of the screen, and try the stuff out. After the Tutorial is over, it leaves
you to defeat the monster. Which if you stand back, Richter kills it within
seconds. You gain 16 exp, YES you can now gain exp! However, You still can't
level up. Just move forward again until the scene with the spider. Richter will
explain how to get into battles. If a monster touches your back, the screen
turns red, and you start the battle dazed, plus you lose defense for the
battle. If you touch the back of a monster, the screen goes green, the monster
will lose defense, and start dazed. Any other way of touching, the screen turns
white, and it's a normal battle. Continue forward.

When given the chance, go to the right, down this path is a chest with 300 glad
in it. Battle monsters when you can for EXP, once you can level that is. Go
back to the main path, and go forward, you'll find a save point, Save your
game. The path to the right needs something before you gain anything, so go
towards the door. After the scenes go through the door. During the scene you
get a choice, Who to stop? Well I don't know what happens when you go to stop
Marta. But I stop Richer. Pick which ever. You'll end up outside the door. Go
towards it again. You can pick either choice, however you will have to make a
pact with him, it's the only way to make it past Aqua. If you don't make the
pact, you can talk to Tenebrae to make it. After the following scenes, and the
tutorial, you fight an easy battle. Here's a tip, every time you land a hit
that isn't blocked, you gain one TP. Oh and you've learned your first Arte. You
gain 100 EXP from the battle, 500 Glad, and go up 2 levels, a new skill, and a
new title. Equip the skill and title when you can. Save the game. Then move
forward through the next door. Then move towards the next door to find out you
need a new path. Okay, remember that path we skipped before? The one before
the save point? Yeah go there now. Heading to the right, you'll hit a dead end
with something on the wall. Hold the Z button down, point the WII remote at the
screen, aim for that thing, and hit A. You'll burn the moss off a switch, push
it. A wall will fall down, leaving you an opening, go through it. Follow the
path to a chest with Mittens in it. Okay go back to the door that you can't
open.

Then go to the right, follow the path. You'll be stopped to do a tutorial about
catching a monster. Look an imp. Tutorial battle time! Just kill the imp, as
the elements are all already water; you don't need to do a thing. After you'll
be forced to make a pact with the imp. Oh and this is the easiest time you'll
have making a pact. It gets harder as the game goes on for different reasons.
However you should catch as many as you can. (PS: you can skip the pact scene
by pressing A.) Monster names are chosen at random. After that battle, you
enter another one. Fighting alongside the imp, fight and make a pact with the
wolf. The Wolf I will refer to as Wolfy from now on, as I will be using him
for the rest of the game. You can use whatever monsters you wish in your team.
You can up to four in your party at anytime, If all the humans die in battle,
No matter the monster's health, they die too. Continue down the path, battling
monsters, and catching them if possible. You'll come across some moss on the
wall again. Burn it, and push the switch. Go to the right first, burn the moss,
push the switch. The path leads to a chest with a cape in it. Go back and go
down the other path, first to the right again, opening a chest gaining a apple
Gel. (For some of you just in time.) Go down the other path, it will lead to
Richter. You'll need to head back to the save point area. Good thing you can
used the once blocked door now! You'll talk to Aqua, Take her to Richter. Then
go through the door. You'll see a Save point. SAVE! Then continue through the
door.

--------------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!
--------------------------------
Lloyd, lvl 50, hp 15,367.

He is imposable to beat, and it doesn't matter if you beat him or not.
You might be able to when you go through at 10 times EXP, or if you’re really
good at this game. But if you’re at that point, why are you reading this
walkthrough??? Just try your best, win or lose the cut scenes remain the same.

New Game + Fight: If you've started a new game plus and have selected to keep
your monsters, just try to have emil and marta live through the battle, Stay
back and let you over level monsters kick Lloyd's ass. You'll gain tons of
Exp, going up a few levels.

--------------------------------
END BOSS BATTLE!
--------------------------------

Examine the mask after the scenes. Then go down and try to open the door, after
Examine the poster on the upper right. Then do as your told, set fire to it.
Push the switch. Then go through the open door. The chest has a bandanna in it.
Equip it. Continue on.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lloyd's Mask Part 1 (Side-Quest.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If doesn't matter if you want to or not, you HAVE to pick up the Mask. This is
however the start of a side-quest. One you may or may not finish.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Side-Quest continues later.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

`````````````````
Tower of Mana
`````````````````

Save at the Save point. Pretty much follow the path, pick up the cocoon from
the chest and the red ribbon from the other one. Then exit the area.

Side Note:

Battle the monsters here to level up; they come back to life after
some time has passed; make sure Marta, Emil, and Wolfy are at least lvl 5. It
takes more exp to lvl the Imp so doesn’t bother, it's not really worth it. You
may get some grey manuals as monster drops. They give a monster 500 exp when
you use it on them. (I used the ones I got on Wolfy.) Use them or save them
for a different monster. My levels are at, Emil lvl 7, Marta lvl 6, Wolfy lvl
10, and the imp lvl 4. I leveled Emil up more then you need to, and got about
five or so grey manuals which I used on Wolfy. If you do the same, you'll see
that Wolfy can now change classes (At lvl 10.) That path leads to a dark wolf,
then an ice wolf. If you want to, take it. I'm not going to myself. Anyway,
spending some time to level now, will make the whole game easier.

`````````
Luin
`````````

Next go to Luin. Select whatever during the cut scene. Don't forget to stop at
the store and buy and sell what you like. If you have Glad, stock up on Gels.
After, go to the mayor's place. You'll have to fight some guys, but it's an
easy battle. Marta gains a new title. Run towards the exit of Luin. Make sure
to save at the inn first, and to head to the water fountain side exit, the
other ways are blocked off and will only lead to a battle with the vanguard.

----------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
----------------------

There are two battles; the first one is against two martel knights. Easy
enough if you leveled like I said. I'll take the time to explain the basics
of boss battles now. For most boss battles, you attack the boss, go for their
weak point, and keep your hp levels high. Remember, heal your human characters
before healing the monsters.

Magnar lvl 10 HP 1754 Element Earth.

He's earth, so wind based attacks would be helpful, however, you have none. So
instead, just attack him, watch your hp, and you should win pretty easily.
After all, he isn't stronger then the knights you just beat, and there's only
one of him.

For wining you get 500 EXP, 3520 Glad, and a Heal Mark.

----------------------
END OF BATTLE!!!
----------------------

Marta is out of your party? Well first got to the General store, sell the Heal
Mark for 3600. Unless you intend to use it. I find it pretty much useless
myself. Then buy 2 more boots for when you get Marta back. Then head to the inn
area for a cut scene. Then go to the front of the inn, two boys should be near
by. Talk to them. After, it's time to go see the mayor. So go there now. After
talking to the Mayor, head to the exit near the Inn. After the scenes, go to
Asgard.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7D. Chapter 2: Troubled Heart
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

```````````````
Asgard
```````````````

After the chapter screen, you'll be in Asgard. TIME TO SHOP!!! Okay, from now
on, what you equip is up to you. Myself, I just equip the equipment that gives
me the best stats. I'll tell you if you’re going to need an item, but otherwise,
it's up to you to decide. This area of the town has shops, an inn, two exits,
as well as the Katz shop. Do some shopping, make sure to buy Undine's Whisper.
When used on a monster, that monster will learn an arte used to heal people.
Making battles easier. And if you want an easier time with the next boss, buy
some Ice capes. I don't however. Okay now, next up is the Katz store. I'll
explain it now.

----------------
Katz Store
----------------

Talk to the yellow Katz, and most of the shop is explained. Use the party Menu
to add or remove monsters to your party. The quests isn't something I myself
cover, however they give you extra items, Glad, and EXP. So do them sometime
when your level is low. Now we come to the cooking, I hope you got some
kind of Grain, and spices. Make a Rice ball for the Imp to get a feel for the
system. I explained about how to tell if they'll like it or not up in the pact
making section. As for Wolfy, wait on him. Unless you wish to change his
stage. As he hate rice balls. From now on, unless I have something I want you
to do here. The Katz place is all up to you. If you've saved at the Inn, do
some quests until your level's are somewhere between 12-15, before moving on.
Oh! One thing about quests, the Item reward changes each time you exit the menu
and talk to the Katz again; use this trick to get good equipment that will make
the coming battles easier.

I did 5 quests, and for my troubles I leveled up to level 15, plus got a few
items. Long Sword, Scale Plate, Custom Bandanna, Chain Gauntlets. and some
Glad. Not bad huh? You are strong enough to do lvl 12 quests at about lvl 7-9.
But if you need a few more levels before you can do them, don't worry, you'll
get a chance soon.

Okay, head past the Inn for a cut scene. Now there are two ways to head, going
up leads to a closed gate, we can't get past that yet. So go to the right, to
get to the other half of this town. On this screen there are only two houses
you can actually enter, go up the stairs and the building to the right is the
first one. The one we're going to is up the second set of stairs to the right.
that's the mayor's place. Try to open the door for a scene. Now go back to the
first area, Up the stairs, between two stores is a store doorway, enter it.
Emil now has a new title. Okay exit this place. Just head for the stairs and
a cut scene happens. Next you'll want to head to the area that has the mayor's
place and then head to the other house I told you about. After the scenes,
leave the house, then head down the stairs. After the scenes, try to leave the
area. After the scene, go towards the stairs in the store area.

---------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
---------------------

You'll be thrown into a boss battle.

Athos lvl 8 HP 1558 Element Darkness
Porthos lvl 7 HP 993 Element Light
Hawk (AKA Hawkie) lvl 9 HP 1613 Element Wind

This should be an interesting battle. If you leveled up like I did and got
the Equipment, this will be a piece of cake. If not then watch yourself. Either
way carry out the fight the same. Kill Porthos first as he's weakest. Then go
for Athos. Taking out the weakest first means less damage done to you in this
battle, and means you won't be hit with a 3 on 1 when you’re taking out Hawk.
Hopefully your monsters will keep the other enemy's attentions away from you.
Trust me, if you aren’t leveled up, you want to take these guys on one at a
time during this fight.

(You should be at level 7 with emil at the very least for this battle. Being
at Level 14 or so with the better equipment makes this so easy it's funny.)

Prize: 600 EXP, 4000 Glad, Mane x1, Wolf Fur x1, Rabbit Tail x1, Poison Cham x1

--------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
--------------------

After you win, head to the mayor's house. Once inside talk to Colette. Colette
joins you as a guest at level 10. Add her to your main party so she can join
you in battle. This too will make things easier, because unless you have two
high level, evolved monsters. She’s better. Oh and she'll also make the quests
easier if you haven't done them yet. Anyway, remember that gate in the area
with the stores? Yeah go there, and go through the gate. Then up the stairs.
You'll be on a huge stone platform.

------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------

Garuda lvl 15 HP 8391 Element Wind

What's that?!?!?! A Barrier?!?!?! Oh no we're screwed!!! It's true, you CAN'T
hurt this boss. All you can do is pretty much suck and die. Okay joking,
actually you need to draw it out, after enough time the battle ends. But the
boss isn't dead?

------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
------------------

Before the battle, you saw the famous Miracle known as Colette in action. She
often saved her friend's life’s, and solved puzzles in the last by, you guessed
it! Tripping, and Falling. Anyway, Leave Asgard, and head for Hima.

``````````````
Hima
``````````````

Welcome to Hima, if you need to level up to 9 or 10 before doing the Quests,
do it here and BEFORE reaching the top. There's only one building here, and
it's the inn; on the roof of the Inn is a Katz shop, to the right of the inn,
is a store where you can buy some equipment, and sell the Poison Charm, as it's
not really all the helpful at all in the game. Anyway, after the shopping trip,
go inside the Inn, and Save. After that, just head up the path behind the Inn
to the very top of this area.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Recipe
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If you go into the Inn at all, Head to the right past the dog into the next
room, talk to the Rock to gain the recipe for Stew.

------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------

Skirophorion lvl 6 HP 9998 Element Darkness

Despite the high HP count. As long as you've leveled up. This is an easy
battle. Simply attack and keep an eye on your HP. If you chose not to level.
It becomes harder. If you’re facing without leveling up, make sure your stocked
up on Life Bottles, Apple Gels, Orange Gels, and have taught the monster your
battling with First Aid. The only real difference facing him under leveled, is
that it's going to take longer, and cost you plenty of Glad. Even when leveled
up, it'll still draw on a little.

Prize: 6 EXP, 0 Glad, Peach Manuscript x1, Seal Charm x1, and a baby winged
dragon.

------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
------------------

The Peach Manuscript will give any ONE monster 5,000 EXP, the same as 10 Grey
Manuscripts would give. At this point of the game, it will give any monster
a huge boast in power. Use it on your favorite monster. I used it on Wolfy,
bringing him to lvl 21. Afterwards, head out of Hima and into Asgard.

```````````````
Asgard
```````````````

(Commenting on the Skit "Like the best." I agree with Emil.)

Head to the Stone Dais, the place you fought, and lost against, the huge bird.

-----------------
MINI GAME!!!!
-----------------

This one can be annoying, and can take a few try’s to do. Avoid the gusts of
wind, don't go out of your way for the chests. (If having problems, forget
about the chests. Their nothing but trouble.) And remember to move forward, as
the wind slowly pushes you backwards. When enough time has passed, shake the
WII remote as fast as you can. That's really all the advice I have for you.

-----------------
MINI GAME OVER!!!
-----------------

-------------------
GARUDA ROUND TWO!!!
-------------------

Garuda lvl 15 HP 8391 Element Wind

Hopefully by now you’re at least level 15, this won't be easy, and yes you can
hurt him this time, however, because the Garuda is in the air, you need to jump
and attack to hit him. You jump in the air and attack by holding up on the
control stick, and hitting the A button. This can be a pain, but all should be
well. If your HP is dropping to fast to keep track of. Switch over Marta's
Artes so she can only use Barrier and First Aid. Hopefully that will make her
use Barrier and First Aid more often, also make sure to keep her TP up if your
having a really hard time, so she can always cast those two Artes.

------------------
END ROUND!!!
------------------

That's right; yet again you fail to get rid of the problem. Head to the house
you first meant Colette in. That's Aisha's house. After the cut scenes inside,
head to the Inn. After more scenes, head to the Stone Dias again.

-----------------------
GARUDA FINAL ROUND!!!
-----------------------

Garuda lvl 15 HP 8391 Element Wind

Just beat him like you did last time.

Prizes: 1000 EXP, 3600 Glad, Basil x1, Roc's Feather x1.

-----------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
-----------------------

Well that was fun. Is it just me, or did he get weaker with each round? Anyway!
Hit the A button to Warp into the Stone Dias.

`````````````````````````````````````
Under Ground Ruins, AKA Stone Dias.
``````````````````````````````````````

Head down the path until you get a scene. After the scene, back track to were
the scene took place, Hear the bells? Remember the order their ringing in.
1, 3, 2, 4, Got it? Good. Move forward, which way doesn't really matter, you
want to end up in the area to the top right.

Once you’re in the room with a save point, look at the thing in the middle.
Remember this for future dungeons. Anyway, examine it. Your fire has changed
into wind. (examine it again after the scene for it to change into the wind.)
Go to the left of the room, There should be a part of the wall that looks
different. Hit it with the wind to reveal bells. Remember the ringing ones?
Good, because we need to ring these in the same order. 1, 3, 2, 4. Another wall
in the same room will open leading to stairs. Save and head down them. In this
room you’re given a clue to solve the puzzle, yes there are chests, but I won't
be pointing them out. You can find them if you like, but they have nothing you
need. Anyway, to solve this, head to the far right, beat the Golem monster, go
through the door, then go to the far left, beat the Golem, and go through that
door, then go to the far right, beat that Golem, and go through that door. If
you did it correctly, there will be a boss monster waiting for you at the end.
If you didn't, it'll be a warp portal instead which will send you to the
beginning of this room, and reset everything in the room.

-------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
-------------------

Golem x2 lvl 16 HP 2004 Element Earth
Manticore lvl 19 HP 6022 Element Fire

This is actually easy; It's closer to a normal battle then a Boss battle. The
only real different is the monsters are stronger. Anyway, to make this easier,
kill the Golems first. Then attack the Manticore. Got it memorized?

-------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
-------------------

Go through the door that he was guarding. Follow the path until you hit a three
way point. Go forward, don't turn, you'll get a scene; keep going forward until
you see button's on the wall. Since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you codes
instead of making you walk all over for it. The first code is, ops! Forgot,
head all the way back to the three way place, a little more back is some
writing on the wall, you'll pick up an arrow. Now move past the buttons, and
examine the statue. You'll place an arrow on it. NOW head to the buttons, and
put in East, South, and East. Now go to the new path, you made it through the
puzzle. Hey look, a save point (SAVE!) A Katz store and a normal store! Good.
Wolfy is level 22 now, so he can become a hell hound, but I'm still going to
wait.

Anyway, go through the opening. In this room, you'll want to move forward,
however you'll have to dodge the wind as you run. You'll hit a point where the
ground falls apart, head to the right from there. Then down and right again,
then up, you'll see a wall on your right that you can destroy with your wind
powers. Do so then continue up. To the next turn to the left from that, take it.
(If you go up more there are 2 chests to open.) You'll be back on the main
path, continue up and through the door. (If you run out of time, return to the
beginning of the room and walk into the room again.)

-------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
-------------------

Axe Beak x2 lvl 15 HP 3743 Element Wind
Wind Master Prime AKA Fake Sylph lvl 20 HP 11772 Element Wind

Okay, If you bought the Ice capes by now and have them Equip, You’re in luck.
If you have two on both Emil and Marta, they'll get 40% less damage from wind
based attacks, and seeing as this boss pretty much uses them. However for
those of us (Like me) who didn't bother. This can still be made an easy battle.
Kill the Axe Beaks first! Trust me, they will be annoying and gang up on you
if you don't. After that attack the Boss himself. He can and will disappear
in order to teleport to another place on the field, he can also spin attack,
turning into an attack where he crosses the field. Avoid those attacks. He can
also lower your defense and attack. As well as cast an arte that can hit you
wherever you are. These are annoying; however the danger comes when he shoots
ords of wind at you, each one does damage, and if you get caught in it. It can
kill the character. So try to avoid that, and use life bottles when someone
dies. Oh and heal anyone in the red.

Prizes: 1200 EXP, 12000 Glad, Sylph's Mischief x1, Elemental Fragment x1.

------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
------------------

You gained the skill Ventus!!! Making pacts with monsters has just become
easier, once Emil learns the Arte Phoenix Rush, (By leveling up more.) You'll
be able to easily make the minor and major elements in battle Wind. Making it
easy to match 4 minor elements with the major one. Neat huh? Just remember
to Equip the skill! Well now remember how we got here? Go back through the
whole place and exit back to Asgard. If you don't remember the way, refer to
the directions above you used to get in here.

``````````````
Colette will leave the party. Okay, Leave Asgard, and go to Hakonesia Peak.
``````````````````````````
Palmacosta
``````````````````````````
This is Palmacosta, Well one area of it. Move forward for a scene. Okay, now in
this area there are two buildings we can enter, and a ship. However the ship
has nothing on it. The building to the upper right is the chapal, and there's
nothing in that either. The last building to the upper left is the
Govner-Genral's place. It to has nothing in it. Exit to the right, This is
another area of Palmacosta. The first building you see belongs to the Vagaurd.
It has nothing inside it. Going to the right a long ways, You see what looks as
if it should be a shop, but no one is there. Head back to the main area, and go
to the left this time. Right away you see an outdoor shop, and the pub. Go
ahead into the Pub, and talk to Martmart... I MEAN Marta. (Alice is a sadist,
that comes up with great nicknames.) Go to the Gover-Genral's place now. After,
Leave Palmaosta. Go to the Dynasty Ruins.
Dynasty Ruins.
````````````````````````````

Once here, Go forward, At the stairs, make a right, you'll find a Ring change
thing. Go ahead and examine it. It'll turn the fire into light. Anyway, go back
to the stairs. Go up them, then head up the left path which leads to a Chest,
open it to get Thunder Cape. Go ahead and Equip it to Emil. Then head back
and go to the right. Go past the stairs and open the chest for a Lizard Skin.
Then go up the stairs that are right there. Making a left when you can will
lead to a chest with White Mittens. Now head all the way back to the begining
of the room, and just head forward up the stairs, You should past by the opened
chest you got the Mittens from. Once your up the stairs, you'll get a cut
scene.

------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------------

Porthos lvl 15 HP 2729 Element Light
Athos lvl 16 HP 4246 Element Darkness
Alice lvl 17 HP 3171 Element Ice

Well you get to beat up Alice huh? Well seeing as there are three bosses in one
battle. Kill Porthos first, then go after Athos, and finish by killing Alice.
Porthos will be no problem. Actually Athos shouldn't be a problem either. Alice
is the one you want to watch out for. She can cast First Aid on the monsters
and herself, healing herself and them. Though this won't make the battle very
hard. Actually it makes it easier because she spends time healing the monsters.
If your lucky and kill the monster she's trying to heal, she may end up healing
someone who has full HP. Anyway, when you have it down to her alone, she won't
have a chance to get one off.

Prizes: 1114 EXP, 12000 Glad, Mane x1, Wolf Fur x1, Rabbit Tail x1, Spirit Mark
x1, Electrum Ring.

------------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
------------------------

After that somewhat easy battle. Go forward to the door, on each side you can
see some kind of thing sticking out of the wall. Hit them with the Light. The
door will open when you do. Just go through and follow the path to a scene.
Marta gains a new title.

Okay now, there are two sets of stairs, Go down the smaller one. Refered to as
Stairs 1 until we're done with this room. Simply push the block into the water,
now go back up. The other Stairs here will be called Stairs 2. Go down them
now. Go past the first ladder, Going up the second one you see. (At the end of
the path.) You'll see one of those door things on a piller. Hit it with the
light. Head all the way to the right, use the Ring change to get the fire back.
Remember that Green looking block we JUST passed? Hit it with the fire. Go back
to the ring change and change your ring to light again. After, push the block
down, droping it into the water. Go back and change the water flow again, then
go back to Stairs 1 and go down them. Keep going down them. You'll come to a
floating block in the water, which you can walk over, do so. Keep going
forward, you'll see another block that needs to be pushed into the water. After
you do that, head up and follow that path, open the chest to get a Long Sword.
But you should have gotten one from the quests already when you were leveling
like I did. So you can sell this one for Glad back at town. The ladder leads
back up to the piller you used before. Use it, then go to the left until you
come across a green flow of water, go down the latter here, heading to the left
and up Stairs 2, Go down Stairs one, and go over both floating boxes. Simply
follow the path, open the chest to get a Leather Cape, and go through the
doorway.

I'll take the time now to say that catching monsters is pretty easy here. The
monsters use water based attacks, and Marta will use the water based First Aid.
When you get over 20 monsters, you can earn a title by talking to any Yellow
Katz.

Move forward for a scene. Okay this area is really easy, I mean really easy.
Continue forward for a boss battle, for the chests in this room, go all the way
left and right on each level as you go down the stairs. Either way you chose to
go, the battle ahead remains the same. Don't forget to save!

Side Note: Sometime before the boss battle, Emil should learn the Arte
Phoenix Rush at level 18. If you have the skill Ventus, It'll be of the wind
element, making monster pacts easier. When you want to make pacts, turn off all
elemental attacks besides those of the wind element. And have Emil only use the
arte Phoenix Rush. Of course this won't be the only elemental attack Emil gets,
and won't be the only thing you can do this with. It's just a small tip.

Chests: Gothic Spinner x1, Verbena x1, 1000 glad, Sturdy Bandanna x1.

-------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!

Mamitou lvl 20 HP 12648 Element Water

If you put on the thunder cap, you'll be happy. It will take away 20% of the
damge Emil takes during this batte. The Mamitou can disappear into the water,
and jump up in another place on the battle field. He can also pop his tail out
of the water to hit you, and cast water artes including one that will hit
everyone on the field. However as long as your careful, and keep an eye on your
HP, you'll do fine.

Prizes: 1500 EXP, 8000 GLAD, Elastic Leather x1, Tuna x1.

It's the only place you can go, so pick it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chapter 3: Footfalls of Tomorrow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

``````````````````````
Iselia
``````````````````````

This is Iselia, the village you started out in during the last game. Anyway,
out of all the buildings in the first area, you can only enter the shop. Okay
then, leave via the left path upwards. continue up on the screen for a scene.
The building to the left is the Mayor's place, and the one right infornt of
you is the school. Next to the school is a save point, and a yellow Katz shop.
Continue to the right, and on the next screen you find Colette's home. Well
that's every thing in this town, go see the Mayor. Before we sent out, I just
wanted to say that Wolfy is at level 24, and can now evole into Padfoot, a
light elemental monster. And that is what I'm evoling Wolfy into. Check out
the Quests as well, Do any D level ones you see, the item you get doesn't
really matter as you have stronger items now. Plus this will help you reach
level 18 - 20 if you haven't yet. If you see any C ranks, wait until your level
18 before doing them. Anyway, I did all the quests, and ended up at level 20,
which is the level you want to be at. I only got one C Quest, but I gained the
Broadsword from it. Anyway, leave Iselia, and go to the Temple.

Talk to the monster, then go up the stairs into the temple. Talk to the man you
find inside, then leave. Head for Iselia.

After the scene, Leave. Head for the ranch.

`````````````````````
Iselia Human Ranch
`````````````````````

After a battle, just move forward to run into a monster. The fog will be gone
after the battle. So head to the right, there is a clif you can jump up onto.
there are two chests up here. 3000 Glad and a Melange Gel. Anyway, head back to
the broken doors, and go through them. Oh no the door to the building is
covered up by rocks! To the left of the rocks, is a sparkle on the ground, so
pick up the item, it's Card Key 1. Something needed to slove this place. Now
to the right is a ladder going down. Take it. Follow the path until you find a
ring change thing, use it to get lighting. Then head forward until you hit the
save point. From there go to the left, use the ring on the power sorces next to
the door, then go left into a water filled room. Continue left until you see
another sparkle on the floor. Pick it up for the Elevator Key. Leave the room.
Just out, go up, use the Key Card 1 on the door. Inside go forward, there's a
blue switch on the wall, push it. Exit the room, and watch out for the lasers.
Go to the right, and just before going out to the main area is another room
with a chest inside, the chest has a Wind Cape. Now go back to the Save point
area. See the two blue glowing things? The one on the right is a shop, the one
on the left will fully heal you. From there, go forward, watch out for the
laser. Go left first, theres a door in here to open, but it won't. Go to the
right now. In here is another door that won't open, head down now. All the
way down, use lighting on the power sorce thingy. Then take the Elevator down
to the Basement Level 3

In here is a shop, and a Katz shop. Right next to them in a computer with a
yellow glowing button, push it. Then go all the way to the left, and onto the
Green circle. Hit A to ride it. Wasn't that fun? Anyway, see the green box with
the arrows in it? It controls the green circle. Use A to change the direction
form up and down to left and right, then right the green circle again. In this
area, before heading up the steps Change the arrows on the blue box. Okay, now
go up the steps. Use the Circle up here. Change the swich and continue on. Do
the same here. Okay, see the white box? Push the switch on it. Change the
purple box, and ride the purple circle. Remember the white box for now. Okay,
go ALL the way back to the Katz. Then go down, use the ladder you see, and
don't use the white switch here yet. Go towards the box and push it. THEN push
the white swich here. Go all the way back to the purple circle, ride it down.
Go across the metal pipes. Push the block, Then go back to the white box area.
Go down the ladder, and ride the white circle. Use the white swich, go down the
ladder, and open the chest which has Scale Gauntlets in it. Go back up, and
push the switch again. Go back to the white box, and push it, then ride the
white circle again. Up here, there's another computer, push the switch. and go
to the left for a Flower Petals. Go up the stairs, ride the blue circle. Ride
the light blue circle to get a Pineapple Gel. Then change both boxes. You'll
come to a orange box, change it and ride. Ride the purple circle, push the
yellow switch, ride back up and change the purple box. Change the purple box
here, and ride down. The chest has a Lizard Skin. Now push this purple box and
ride on up. Go through the door here. (That took forever...)

In this room, you need to lure the monsters to touch the lasers to make the
lasers disappear, use the lighting ring on the monsters to piss em off. Open
the chests in here, then us lighting on the left door to gain a Silver Cloak.
Go through the right door now. In here is Card Kay 3 and Chamomile. Now head
all the way back out to the double arrow purple box. Change it, ride the
circle, change the switch here, and continue on. Ride on the orange circle,
change the switch, and ride the orange circle up. In this room, head forward,
the door to the right leads to the laser room. Go to the one on the left. Save
here and talk to Paul.

BOSS BATTLE!!!
-----------------------

Hirsuta x2 lvl 18 HP 3879 Element Earth
Gerichtslinde lvl 18 HP 11388 Element Earth

If you Equipped the Wind cape, that will reduce damge by 20%. So like you
should be use to by now, kill the weaker enemys first. (The Hirsuta.) Then
attack the Gerichtslinde..... Okay I think their just making stuff up now to
mess with us.... Anyway, to deal with Gerichtslinde, make sure you have the
skill Ventus Equiped, and use Phoenix Rush! The wind element will do extra
damge to Gerichtslinde. It also has the added bouns of hitting any monster that
happens to be near you, not just the target. So that will help when attacking
the Hirsuta. Other then that, as long as your up to date with both Equipment,
and your level. This shouldn't be any problem.

Prizes: 2000 EXP, 9000 GLAD, Fragrant Wood x1, Grey Manuscript x1

-----------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
-----------------------

You heard Raine! Leave this place and go to Iselia! Oh and Raine has joined
you, so add her to your line up! She is a healer by nature, so she'll keep your
HP full in any battle. One last tip, after the Orange circle, ride the light
blue circle for a short cut.

`````````````````````
Iselia
`````````````````````

T.T I got up and knocked a candle over on me, now I have dry wax in my hair...
Well at least now my hair smells all pretty from the wax, yes just what every
GUY wants, Pretty smelling hair......

Anyway! Back to the game. When you reach Iselia, Raine leaves your party, but
it's okay! Just head to the school. Go outside, Marta is outside Raine's house.
It's the one with the pound you passed by on the first trip round the village.
Before seeing Raine at the school, Save, It's been awhile since I told you to,
and I kind of need a shower now to wash the wax out of my hair. ^.^'

Next head to the school building, Inside talk to Raine. Afterwards, leave
the school. Then head towards Coltte's house. (To the far right.) Blocking the
door to Coltte's house is the perosn we're looking for, talk to him. Afterwards
leave Iselia.

Triet Ruins
````````````````````
During the scene you'll get a look at Raine's "Ruin Mode." I find it funny.
After the scene is over, follow the path to the left of the platform. It'll
lead you to the enternce. Inside just head forward to find another friend.
After the scenes, do like I did and make you main party Emil, Marta, Raine, and
Genis. The order doesn't matter, Genis can cast great spells to damge enemys,
and Raine can heal you much better and faster then Marta can. Okay, now leave
the Triet Ruin and go to Triet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Good, The Bad, The Normal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This isn't so much a side-quest as handy information. Remember when you had to
pick to either swear to Lloyd or not to swear to him back in Luin near the
begining of the game? Well these Ruins is were your choice plays out. From
what I've heard, theres a point system. If you get 9 or more points, Lloyd
steals the core. (And your chances at the best ending as well as two titles.)
if you picked to swear to Lloyd, then you already have 5 points! If you picked
not to swear to him. Then you have zero. You gain one point everytime you enter
the Triet Ruins. If you have less then nine when you get to the Core, You gain
the core. Anyway, this is just a point in the game were you can chose which
ending you'd like to see. Well the good news is you can get by with only
entering the ruins twice. Meaning that either choice you picked you still have
a chance to get the best ending.
`````````````````````
Triet
`````````````````````
Welcome to the Desert town...... Wait a minute... It's covered in ice? Anyway!
The shops are to the left, the inn to the upper right. If you head forward,
you'll be in the next part of Triet. When you reach the fork, go to the left.
You'll enter a scene where you'll learn about fishing. You need to catch a fish
to go deeper into the ruins, so let's fish! Move forward and use the A comand
Descend. There are a few holes to fish in, and it doesn't really matter which
one you use, I used the Green circle. Read the directions and follow them.
You'll end up in an easy battle, afterwards head for the Triet Ruins.
When there, head for where the red tree monster was last time for a scene.
Talk to Tenebrae when your ready. In this room, go up and to the left, you'll
find a chest with a Pineapple Gel in it. Head back to the enternce of the room,
and exit it.
From here head up, on the left is another door, enter it.In here head all the
way up and to the left, you'll find a stone block with a blue simbol on it.
Push it to the right and down, and then towards the other one like it. Head
across the place and use the A button to light the torch. A platform will raise
up. Then leave the room. Back out here, go all the way down and enter this door.
(You'll find a water cape before entering the door. It can make the boss battle
alittle easier.) Go up the stairs here, and light the Torch. Makeing a platform
lower itself. Now go to the top room, there go up the stairs pushing another
block on down. Then light the torch here. Go to the middle room, the up the
stairs to find two chests with a Black Ribbon and Half-Gauntlets. Head back to
the stones you walked over, and light the torch. Open the chest near-by to get
a Broadsword. Then enter the blue circle to warp.
In here more forward over the alter, and open the hidden door. This area is
easy to get around, move up either stairs to the middle area, then down the
stairs here for a boss battle. Theres a chest at the very top the has a Stone
block in it.
become traped by the four monsters. Besides the over powered attack's that
Helping Richter Part 2 (Side-Quest.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Once you've enter Izoold and regain contorl over your charater. Leave, and head
to Hakonesia. When given the choice, pick "I'll go talk to him." To continue
on. Exit and head off to Asgard.

After the scene, head to the inn. (And yes emil you probably are. (For those
who watched the "I'm screwed" Skit.)) Richter is waiting in the upstairs room
for you. Wow, Richter join's your party. Go to Aisha's house next as Linar is
her brother. You found out you need to go under the stone dais. So head there
next. Incase you forgot where any of these places are, go back in this guide
to the Asgard section near the begining of chapter 2.

In the first room, go to the left (After the first bells.) and down the second
path you come across. A cutscene will happen pointing out the staute. Well
Examine it! Something about the bells have changed. Well time to back-track to
the bells. 3-4-2-1 That's the new code! Go ahead and move to the other bells,
change the ring to wind, and put in the code to those bells. That opens a
place to the top right of the area with the first bells. Enter the warp and
it'll take you to the Balacruf Mausoleum.

Go to the left and save, then head through the opening. You can do this one of
two ways. First, you can go through and slove the puzzles to get the clues you
need. Or you can simply cheat and head for the middle of the north wall. Light
the two touches, and then change you ring to wind useing the ring chager under
neath the door. Then head through the door you opened. Getting to the door
really only takes timeing to get through the spikes. In this room, there are
fire fans that you can use the wind on. The order and what items you get are
followed. To reset the fans, hit them again, or exit and re-enter the room.

Mystic Mark: Red, Green, Yellow, White, Blue.
Heal Mark: Blue, Red, Yellow, White, Green.
Slove the puzzle: Red, Yellow, Green, White, Blue.

The door leads to a boss fight your probably not strong enough to win yet.
But I'll add it here as you can try if you wish.

useful.

Well I was right. I die in 30 seconds. >.>' Moveing on.

------------------

Go to the Blue fan, and Descend. If you wish to hunt for chests, go ahead and
do so. But the fastest way through here is to go all the way left, then up,
then to the left pushing the thing out of the way, then head up for a
cut-scene.

Izoold
```````````````````
The first building that's right here has the save point. The next useful place
is the Yellow Katz, You'll see you have more quests now if you wish. You should
be at about lvl 25 - 30 right now, but training to be stronger never hurts.
The building to the right of Katz is a fishermen's place. Continue to the right
to the next area of Izoold. Go upwards on the path, you'll pass by a jail cell,
and go to a stand, you can buy food here if you like. The rest of this area
is a dock. You can do the quests now, or continue the story, I decided to do
the quests and ended up at lvl 26 Gaining Scale Plate x1, Silver Spinner x1,
Blue Fluid x1, Plate Bandanna x1, Coral Spinnerx1, Half Plate x1.
After your done with that stuff, head to the dock area, after that scene, head
to the lower left of the docks and talk to a man standing there. Then go to the
jail cell we passed by either. (The door leading into the cliff) After that go
to the house that is right next to the Katz, the one I pointed out before.
Okay, for now we need to leave Izoold and go to the Camberto Caves.
````````````````````````
Camberto Caves
````````````````````````
You'll get a scene when you enter this place, first go to the left, After the
brigde, head up, you'll cross two brigdes, then go down to open a chest that
has a hunting sword in it. Then head back to the begining of this area. From
there, go across the brigdes in this order. Up, Up, Left. You should be at an
area that has a huge red mushruim. Burn it and fight the monster. The platform
will lower, walk across it and go to the left. You'll see a ring thing, use it.
Then enter the door there.
Move to the left to start a scene in which you gain a title. Move along the
path until you see an orange flower in the water, hit it with the water power
your ring should have now. Then continue down the path. You'll see a
pink/purple bud, hit that as well. The flower will make a new path, another bud
will grow, leave it for now and continue the path, you'll see another orange
flower, hit it, then go back and hit the bud again. Continue down the path,
there'll be a small flower with purple mist comeing out of it. There should be
a non-mist one near it, hit that one with water to move the flowing land. Move
down this path to get a demonic spinner. Then head back and move the land back
to it's normal place. Move thourgh the new path, and hit the next flower with
water as well. Then the next one to move onto another platform that will have
two flowers on it. From the top left here, you can see the door we're heading
too. See the two flowers in the path? Hit them to make a pathway. After the
scene, head to the upper door.
In this area there isn't a puzle, just chests. Find your way to the upper right
area, exit to the next area. Don't worry, it looks more complex then it
actually is. You'll see a ring thing here, Use it. Then go to the raised brigde
and use the switch. Okay, back track to the floating land area. This time, take
the left door. Go up then to the right, past the dragon monster. You should
come to an platform that has what you've been looking for. Use the ring on it,
(Which should be Light.)
Go to Bergs house. After the scene, go to the jail cell and talk to Berg.
Then go inside. After the scene, exit and talk to Berg who is right there. I
picked "Yes, Please" After the scene, go to the Katz shop, Regal is near it,
talk to him. After, head to the Docks and talk to a person in the lower left
area. Raine and Genis leave your party, so add Regal and your best monster to
it.
Okay, there are four places to talk to people at, The first is a small kid to
the left of the only building on the docks. The next is standing infront of
a boat at the docks. Go to the beach and talk to berg. Then go to the left of
the inn, Talk to the man standing there. After the scene, talk to Berg to try
and get some SeaFood Gels. You heard him, Go fish in Triet, get some jellyfish,
and return here to talk with him. You remember how to fish and where right? If
not look back in the Walk-through and find Triet to read how to again. After
Berg has the Jellyfish, go to the Docks.
When at Triet, once you have the Jellyfish, exit and re-enter Triet before
returning to Izoold. When given the choice. Pick the option to see Richter.
The head off to the inn, He's waiting in the room on the first floor. The door
is in the left of the room, very easy to see. After talking to Richter, You'll
be at the Camberto Caves. Go off and go to the Rosemary planet. I just love the
Skit's between Richter and Emil. And find the cooking one really funny. After
the scenes at the Rosemary, You'll be in Iselia, go to Colette's house. After
the scenes, You'll now be at Triet. Go left, past all the shops, and to a
human shaped hole in the side of a building. This hole was caused by Colette
tripping and falling into the building early on in the last game.... Anyway,
Now it's a landmark that Triet is very pround of... You'll find Marta there...
Is it just me, Or is it that the closer Emil get to being best friend's with
the Man who wants Marta to die, The more Marta Loves Emil?
Go forward to start a scene, then go to the water, cross the log, and jump from
rock to rock until you reach the enternce. Unlike future Temples, this one is
a nice break from the hard dungens we've been haveing. Nice of them huh?
Anyway, follow the path until you see the brigde of ice. Head downwards instead
of crossing it, follow this path to find a thing to change the ring to Ice. Now
return to the Ice Brigde, and cross it, following the path until you see a
place to the right that you can head upwards on, do so and use the Ice ring on
the Driping water. It'll make a block of Ice appear, Push the Ice into the
Narrow path you went there to make a brigde to a chest containing a Fire cape.
After continue down the normal path to find another spot where the water is
driping. hit it with the Ice and push the block into the water, Becareful
sometimes it'll get stuck, you'll have to push it alittle up or down if this
happens. Continue through the path, when Exanime appears, use the ice on the
flowing water. And now you can walk on water within this Temple. So do so. On
the left of this water is a chest with Mystic Cloak. Finish crossing the water
and enter the next area.
After the scene, go across the room and use that exit. Head to the door, and go
through it. In here, keep going forward for a new Scene.
way to level up, oh and try to get to about level 30. When your ready, Leave
this place and go to the Dark Temple.
Side Note: You should now have a skill called Special that Emil can Equip. This
is a very powerful attack, When the bar near the bottum of the screen during
battle turns red, do any Arcane Arte and hold the B buttom during it. You
should have at least 3 Arcane Artes by now as well. Though this is powerful,
and can get you out of trouble in Boss battles. It does take quite a bit of TP
to do it. So becareful, as you gain higher amounts of TP, it'll be less of a
worry.
Turn left from the entrence, and go behind the shop, talk to the air plane
and get the recipe Dessert.
Titles
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There are two titles you can get right now, but unless your going through at
10 times EXP. I recomend that you hold off on getting them right now. If you
beat the highest level single battles in the Coliseum with either Emil or
Marta, The one you win with gets a new title. However you can't win that level
just yet unless your insanely over-level. Wait until near the end of the game,
When you have MUCH better Equipment, and higher levels to do it.

Temple of Darkness
``````````````````````````
After the scene head to the right, you'll come across a chest with Melange Gel
in it. After that back track a bit and go down that path. In this little area
there is a chest to the left, and one to the right, after collecting 3,000
Glad, and Lamia's Hair Tie. Head down through the entrance. On the right you
see a blacked out lamp. Use the ring to light it. If you continue down to
the right, you'll find a chest with Lemon Gel. Go to the left. You'll see a
lamp, light it and continue on. Something is blocking the stairs, so go
downwards. There is a chest that has a Mimic Fragment. See the two blocks that
look like they have faces? Push in the one with green eyes, this will open up
the stairs. So head down them. To the left is a shop, and a lamp. light the
lamp. Go down from where you are, you'll see two blue stones, light these with
the fire as well. Head to the right from here, and you should see a lamp below
you, try to light it. Head back to the shops, and push in the block near them.
After, head to the right, light the lamp. Then head down to find another blue
stone, light it. Okay, did you see the door open just now? Go there now.
Head all the way down the stairs, and use this opening, Head up these stairs to
see two more blue stones, light them. Now back track to the stairs, in the
middle of the stairs, is a white opening in which you can now go through, do
so. Use the ring thing here, and your ring becomes darkness. Now, head all the
way back down the stairs, and past the two blue stones, once you reach what
looks like a ball of darkness, use the ring on them. You'll unlock a path to
a ramp, head along that path. This new area is pretty easy to go through. So
just head to the end of this path and you'll find the normal summon spirit
alter. In the middle is a switch you need to push, after doing so you need to
head all the back to the shoping area in this temple. To the right of them is
the hidden path you've unlocked. In here, just head forward.
BOSS BATTLE!!!
----------------------------
Richter Lvl 50 HP 96372 Element Water
Unlike the battle against Lloyd ealier in the game, this is unwinnable, as you
can't damge him at all. So just die already, and don't waste any items.
----------------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
----------------------------
You'll wake up at the summon spirit's alter. Just head to exit the temple.
Regal rejoins you. Head to Meltokio.
````````````````````````
Meltokio
````````````````````````
Once here, head up the stairs, before reaching the castle, take a right. The
second building is where we're heading. After the scene, exit the building.
Head to exit the city, after Zelos joins you, head back to his house. (The
house Seles got taken from.) And talk to the people in the building. Okay, now
that Zelos is finally with you, head to the castle.
Now then, you have a total of 5 humans, so simply haveing all the humans in
your main party is no longer an option. So pick which ever ones you like to
build a party. Marta doesn't even have to be in the main party, Neither does
Emil for that matter. Whoever is in the top place in your line up is who you
control in battle. If you'd rather have guests fill out your party Then do so.
Anyway, I picked Emil, Zelos, Marta, and Sheena. I should metion you can do
quests again now, but I find no point in doing so as you should be the prefect
level for the next part already. So I picked not to do any. Oh and your levels
should be 31 or higher. ANYWAY, Leave the city and head to the next location
when ready.
````````````````````````
Cape Fortress
````````````````````````
In order to keep you from becomeing completely lost here, I won't be giveing
you any locations of the chests. It'll just be the fastest rout through here.
Okay, begin by going forwards and down the stairs to enter the place. Head
along the path and down the stairs to lose Sheena to yet another hole. Well,
Regal left to look for her so at least that's time not wasted? Head to the
right and up the stairs, once up there, head down (South, towards you,
whatever.)
This area can be alittle confuseing. Go to the right, and past the stairs that
are blocked off, go up the next set that goes upwards. Once at the top, head
left to see something glowing on the floor, step on to switch which one is
glowing. This is "Switch 1". Now head back down the stairs, then down again
to find the path beyond the stairs going down is now open, and theres another
switch here. switch them, then return to Switch one, and switch it again. after
all that, return to the area between the different stairs and head to the
right.
If you continue down the path, even on the next screen, you'll come to a save
point and a ring thing. Use it to make your ring water. Then go to the left
and press the red to find out what the puzle. There's a red thing on the wall
with a vauge anwser. But me telling you is much easier. Just follow this map...
3           5
6           1
2           4
Use the water on the flames as shown above. Then hit the red switch again for
the path to be opened. Head on forward. Come on now, the fake is easy to pick
out. Just pick the smiling idiot on the left (This one.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Optional
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is the path the Red Knight leads you, this optional is the path the Blue
Knight leads you.
6           4
2           3
1           5
The gate will open off to the right. After useing the blue Knight. Use it
again to reach that place and go through it. Just keep following the path until
you open a chest with a Philosopher's stone. These are RARE. And their used to
make an item that can evole some monsters to their final stage, making them
really powerful monsters. So hang onto it, and use one of GameSpot's/GameFAQ's
monster's guide to tell you how to use it. After you get this item, head back
to the room with the Red and Blue knights in order to continue on. Oh and to
beable to use the stairs to return to the path you'll have to fight the
Thinker monster. The Blue one on the map, to force the gate to drop and let you
up the stairs.
Optional ended.
BOSS BATTLE!!!
----------------------------
Decus Lvl 40 HP 45669 Element Fire
This is a very hard battle, I don't think you have to win this one, but I
always try to. Most of the damage you'll do is via your Mystic Arte, infact
it'll take out about 1/3rd of his HP. Your going to be useing A lot of Items,
and A lot of healing spells to actually win. Watch out for his Mystic Arte, as
it'll make all your HP 1. Use the fastest way to heal yourself when this
happens. I hope you have tons of Gels and Life Bottles for this battle. Anyway,
I did win this battle, and for my troubles I got...
Prizes: 12000 EXP, 29040 Glad, Garnet Ring x1.
BOSS BATTLE!!!
Richter Lvl 60 HP 102096 Element Water
You really don't stand a chance, You can try (I got his HP down to about 50000
before I died.) But you'll run out items, TP, and HP long before you can win.
I mean I even hit him with about 7 Mystic Artes and it looked like I barely
hurt when he was almost killing my whole party every 2-3 seconds. So yeah, save
yourself the trouble and just die.
------------------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
------------------------------
Whew! After all that, head to the right, and past the door. Alright, finally
time to exit this place! Do so now.
Tip: Garnet ring is a powerful item when used on emil, but there are other
ones that have it's effect, only way more then 20%. If you use one on Emil,
Along with a Holy Symbol Item. He'll be alot harder for enemy's to beat.
Wasteing less TP mean's Emil can do stronger attacks more often without worry.
Such as his Mystic Arte, which normaly takes 50 TP but with this item only
takes 40 TP to do. And with the Holy Symbol, He'll heal by 3% every few
seconds or so. Meaning you have more HP throughout the battle then normal, and
that you can run around to avoid the enemy while it heals you to return to full
HP in battle.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Making a choice... Aka The Good, The Bad, Then Normal, Aka Lloyd's Mask.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You have to pick which you want more, The best ending, Or to finish the
"Lloyd's Mask" Side-Quest. Because you can only do ONE. Doing The mask quest
means you give up the best ending, going for the best ending means you Can't
finish the Mask Quest. And now here's why.
To get the best ending, You need to get Tonitrus' Core before Lloyd does, But
to continue the "Lloyd's Mask" Side-Quest, Lloyd has to get the Core before you
do, if he doesn't, he won't leave his 3rd mask for you to find.
If you pick to get the Best ending, Don't let the Lighting hit you, once it
hits you the 14th time, Then Lloyd gets the Core. If you pick to continue the
"Lloyd's Mask" Side-Quest, Get hit more then 14 times with lighting inside the
temple. Good luck either way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Continued Later....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When an Orange spot appears on the floor, Lighting is going to hit right there,
Standing still in this temple means you'll get hit ALOT. Each hit takes away
some HP from everyone in your party. And after the 14th hit, you'll lose the
Core to Lloyd. Moving on...
If you head forward from where you are, you'll find a chest. Head to the left
of this area, up you'll see stairs, continue on until a scene stops you. Head
down from here to another chest, this one has a Quality Stone in it. Continue
all the way left, and down to find a chest with an Earth Cape. From here, head
up and a little to the right, then go up again to find a ring thing, get the
blue lighting for your ring, we'll be needing it. After, go up the right stairs,
where you'll find a chest with Mirage Mittens. Now go up the other stairs, and
continue into the next room.
There are two floors to this room, on the first one, which you enter on, use
the blue lighting on that blue ball of lighting blocking the door, grab the
chest, then go up the stairs to the second floor. All the way is the Sumon
Spirit's Alter. Use the blue lighting on it and one of the 3 balls of lighting
will disappear. Okay, your done with the blue lighting, and we'll soon need the
fire, so go back to the ring thing and switch it over, then go through the door
you unblocked. In this room, go up the left stair case to a new room. This is
a dark room, making it alittle hard to see, you can fall off the edges in here.
So be careful, go through the room and once out the other side, you'll be in a
scene.
After the scene is over, head up, and round to the right, then down to find
the normal shops. I'm sure you notice a lot about this room, but we need to do
some things until we can work with this room. Anyway, exit to the right, and
you'll come out near a lighting rod, go to the left and use it to make the
lighting stop in this room, as well as make it so the water no longer zaps you.
Anyway, go all the way back to the room that had water in it. Go into the
water, and up the stairs to get to another ring thing, this one can give you
Blue lighting, then Yellow lighting. Switch to Yellow Lighting. Go to the
Alter, and use the lighting on it to make another thing of lighting disappear.
In the Alter room, to the left is a room blocked by Yellow lighting, use the
Yellow to unblock it, go through the Dark Room (Love this temple yet?) and on
the other side is a chest that has a Holy Mark. Holy Mark by the way, is a
great item that will restore 1% of your HP every few seconds in battle, and can
be upgraded to one that gives you 3% HP back. Give it to your favorite charter,
to last longer in boss battles. Anyway, head back to the area with the shops.
Synthesize the Holy Mark into a Holy Symbol. You should have what's needed for
it, if your lacking the Mythril, you should have a few items that Syn into it.
The cost maybe 2,000 Glad (Or more if you need to Syn Mythril.) Buy it, it will
be worth it. And if you get two of them on the same guy, you'll get 6% HP every
few seconds. Cool huh? Anyway, now head to the left part of the room, and
unblock the yellow lighting thing. Then go and get your fire power back, and go
through this door, down the latter is a chest with a Topaz. Go along the path,
and you'll be told something about a rope. Set the rope on fire. After that,
head to where the shops are again, and use the door on the right. This will
lead you back to the first lighting rod, turn it off, get the Yellow lighting,
go where the new lighting rod is to activate the thing, then go back to the
shops yet again.
Finally, we get to slove the puzzle in this room. Okay, just make the yellow
blocks like below, and hit the switch.
The most common one is Elaphebolion, The monster has the item Philosopher's
Stone which you can Steal from it. This is prehaps the easiest way to get this
item. So if you've waiting, and wanting another one to get that item you want.
This is your chance. Marta's Roaring Phoenix has a chance of stealing an item.
So turn off all your other charaters, and have her just use that Arte.
The switch by the way, is the machine under the stairs. The 3 chests have,
Red Basil x2, and Virus Charm x1. Alright, head through the newly opened path.
Down the stairs, and through the door, on the next screen, follow the path to
another ring thing, this one gives you Red Lighting, take it, go to the Alter,
and shoot it with the Red Lighting to remove the last ball of lighting. Save if
you can, and continue across the alter to a hidden door. Once through the door,
head forward for a scene. After the scene, just keep heading up the path until
you reach the core.
Corduroy Lvl 44 HP 23346 Element Lighting
Try to kill all the Were Bats first, then go after Corduroy. When faceing the
Were Bats, if you can do a Mystic when a few are close to you, do so. (For me
I took out 3 at the same time, with one.) It'll make the battle a lot easier.
The main thing I noticed to look out for, is the Boss's Lighting Blade attack.
Which will damge everyone in range. Use a Mystic Arte on the boss to take out
a lot of HP. Even though the Guests were at lvl 38, I was only at lvl 36 when I
did this.
Prizes: 10000 EXP, 3750 GLAD, Demonic Wing x1, Pointed horn x1, Bat Fang x1-5.
Okay now, leave the Temple and head to Sybak.
Afterwards leave and head for Meltokio.
Head to the right, past the inn you'll see a fork in the path, take the left
one, and enter the building. After the scene, head down stairs, theres a person
sitting at a desk, take the notes are that sparkleing next to him. After the
scene, leave the city and go to the Temple of Earth.
`````````````````
Temple of Earth
`````````````````
I mentioned this in the version number, however I deleted my save game by
mistake and started a new one. So instead of being at level 37, I'm now at
Level 34. 3 levels lower then before. I just thought I should point this out
before going on. So that anyone keeping up with my leveling would know. Really
right now, even though the guests are level 38. You don't need to be higher
then 34. But go ahead and train if you like. Anyway, back to the walkthrough
at hand.
Move forward across the bridge. When you come to a fork, going to the right
leads to a broken bridge, and on the other side of that is a chest with
Mirage Mittens in it. Head the other way to reach the curry location. Past
it the upper path gets you 200 gald. Heading to the lower which has broken
pieces of wood. Hit A to Jump, your aim is to simply hit the bottum. Yes there
are chests here. But I don't normally worry about them. Your free to head back
up here anything to go through the jumping again to collect what you missed.
At the buttom, head to the right to find a ring changer and a chest that has
ruby in it. Change your ring to Earth. Actually, this is second to the buttom
platforum. On the buttom one is an exit, and a dragon. He isn't to hard to
fight, and in the last game gave the best gald reward out of any monster. In
this game he gives you only 531 gald. That's disappointing...
But if you head past him and open the chest, you get Royal Gauntlets. Neat...
I think? anyway, head to the exit. With the ring in hand, there are two spots
in this area you can do, one at each road. Do the lower road(To the right of
fork.) First, use the ring on that pile of rocks. Then the upper path has a
ledge looking place, use the ring on it. Look a new place to walk, and the
rock pile you knocked over gave you a Dragon Spinner. Follow the new path.
You'll open a chest along the way with Treat in it. This is a great item to
have in a tight spot. If you out of TP in a tough Boss fight. Use this item
to restore 30% of TP to everyone on your team. Okay, now head all the way to
the broken bridge. Use the ring on the Bridge while your standing on it to
drop down on the path to the summon spirit's old resting place.
Yay another new title. Anyway, Make changes and get ready, and save. There's
a chest here with a Gel. Step onto the large glowy thingy. I know, in every
movie you've ever seen this is a BAD idea. But this time is different. Know
why? It's a video game, a completely different race of people make these. ^.^
They somehow have great luck with these places.
After warping, go up to the alter for a scene. Oh look, another glowing spot.
It must mean we're suppose to go to it. Hit A when "Unknown" appears.
The aim is to not fall, if something is shakeing, don't stand on it. If you
fail, you'll be in a place with a chest that has 3000 gald, and then go by
one with a gel. Go up the stairs and try again. If you did it right, a hiden
door will be opened.
One of the Chests here has a Specific in it, the other has a Blue Savory.
Both great items. Specific is the same as Treat, only it effects HP. Head to
the monsters in the center of the room.
-----------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
-----------------------------
Lookin x4 lvl 42 HP 14733 Element Earth
Take them on ONE AT A TIME. and hope your team members distrat the other 3. By
now a few people like Marta should have Auto-Item. This means she'll use items
as there needed. (When someone's HP or TP is really low. Or someone is dead.)
This helps you a great deal. Keep your TP up and use Mystic Arts as much as
you can. Be sure to watch your party's HP. These things like to gang up and
all hit a person at once. You'll find as each one dies, the battle becomes
easier. So look forward to harder boss battles then this...
----------------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
----------------------------
Chose to ride the monster.
```````````````````
Toize Valley Mine
```````````````````
Wow who would of thought that we'd see this place again. It was suppose to be
destoryed in the last game. Follow the tracks, open the metal door, inside is
only a chest that contains a Life Bottle. Go back out and keep following the
tracks. You come out to area where both ways look like dead ends... Go left
and use A to jump over the clif. You'll come across a latter, go down it, and
up the other one. Go through the next area, just go to the right until you
see a pill of dirt, go down the path after that. One path is blocked, the
other leads to the ring change. Use it on those big rocks in your way from
now on. Across the bridge is a few chests with some things. Now, back in the
last room, go up, breaking rocks until you see the exit. Then Leave.
```````````````````
Altamira
```````````````````
Go all the way to the end, the turn left. Use the lift thingy and then the
car. Select "Lezareno" to go there. Go to the 3rd floor. Yep, nothing's ever
easy. Though this is good for us. We needed a clue to find them currect? and
haveing them come to us is just easier. Exit the building. No random battles
here. They all have no idea who you are. Head to the large building we pasted
on the main road. It's on the right side. Save, then go to the top floor.
Go to the lowest floor for a scene. Top floor, Bed, Sleep. Go to the car, It
worrys me to Sheena... That was a comment about the handcuffs. although I to
think he should wear a pink ribben. ^.^
Into the building we go. Exit to the left.
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------------------
Vanguard x2 lvl 40 HP 14568 Element Wind
Hawk lvl 48 HP 58113 Element Wind
Kill the Vanguard first, Then Hawkie. The Vanguards are easy. However even
when it's four against one, Hawkie is hard to beat. Just remember everything
I told you before. Watch your HP and TP, Attack him with Mystic Arts as much
as possible. Be sure to keep yourself on a different side of hawkie then the
other members of your party, So he'll attack one at a time, and not the group.
Good Luck.
After the battle, I was lvl 37.
EXP 11800, Gald 27120, Forseti's Cape.
`````````````````````````
Mizuho
`````````````````````````
You can see both Raine and Genis from where you are. They are standing infront
of a bridge that is infront of the Elder's house. So that's the next stop for
the story. However, go ahead and take the time now to look around the village.
On the path to the left is a house, then a little farm. The people of Mizuho
use everyday things such as farming to help with their training.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Recipe
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Inside the house I just mentioned, to the left is a little fire place with
something cooking. Talk to it and gain the Recipe Pickled Vegetable.
That's the only thing in the house. Another fun fact from the last game, The
people of Mizuho never tell anyone their real names. Only their close family
are aloud to know it. So Sheena isn't Sheena's real name.
Go across the wooden bridge, to the left path is the shop for all of Mizuho.
So stock up, and buy whatever. Unless you've been Synthesizeing things, You
should replace all your Equipment here. To the right of Raine, Is a stone
stair case, up it is the Katz place. As well as a path, the path leads to a
well. The only other House here is the Elder's house. Talk to Raine and Genis
now.
My party formation is Emil, Marta, Genis, and Raine. Your Levels should be
above 40 right now, if now use the Quests to level on up, and get some items
worth selling for some extra Gald while your at it. Going inside the Elder's
house will start a cut-scene, and seeing as it's the only place with a Save
spot. I just leave Mizuho and save on the world map. I got Emil to lvl 40 and
stopped. If you feel like it, go ahead and level to 45 to be on par with the
guests in your party.
Ok now, go into the elder's house. Go talk to Marta after the scene, she's near
the little farm. Head to the enternce next. After 3 battles, and haveing killed
12 members of the Vanguard. Raine, Genis, and Presea join back with you. By
Raines Comment it seems she already knows something about Emil. However saying
what it is would be a spoiler.
`````````````````````
Altamira
`````````````````````
Follow Tenebie. Afterwards, you'll be in the hotel. Go to the Elevator and
select the Basement.
````````````````````````````````````````````````
Building Number Two aka Vanguard's base.
````````````````````````````````````````````````
When you head to the right, theres a white switch on the wall to open the path.
That was easy, but we're just getting started... After the next scene, press
the green switch next to the door.
The battles here arn't easy, but you get a lot of exp from them. Head to the
right, down the stairs, then go down and follow the path to a door, inside is
a chest and a vanguard member. Give the Mythril Mittens to Marta, The boost in
TP will help you. Oh and if your having trouble in battle, Heres some advice.
Keep Marta and Raine in your party, or two monsters that know alot of healing
spells. For the fouth member use either Presea or Genis. Presea if you need
someone on the front lines with you, Genis if you simply need some back up.
Attack Magic uses first, then the ones useing bows. Save their front line
fighters for last.
Anyway, moveing on. Go to the left once you've left the room, the next door
you can't enter yet, the following one has a lone Vanguard member, this well be
easy. You gain a Pass Card once you win. No the Card doesn't work for the
locked door. Continue down this path, and you'll find a Dark Cape. Go in the
remaining door right here. After the scene, all guests leave your party. So
replace them with your best Two monsters. In the Car is a Mythril Cloak.
Go down the other path as it's no longer blocked. The chest is a Dusk
Bandanna. Up the stairs and to the save point. SAVE. Head left from there. Head
into the door. PUT AT LEAST ONE OF THE GUESTS IN YOUR PARTY. Remember you lose
the fight if all humans die, and if you have only one, a life bottle won't do
you any good.The Red Sage in this room can be useful.
Okay Leave this room, and follow the path. The left side leads back to the Save
point. The door before the save has a thing to make your Pass into a D rank
Pass. Use it. At the end of the path is another elevator, and a chest with a
Mythril Plate in it. Useful. However I have the Solitude. So I don't need it.
This elevator needs a B pass, and you only have a D. Go back to the other one
and use it. The first door has a Light Cape in it. Keep going down the path.
The second door gives your Pass an Upgrade to C level. Go to the Second floor
Via the elevator.
You'll see an Upgrade thing in the middle of the Path, Now you have a B Pass.
Go to the 1st Floor now, and to the other Elevator right up to the 3rd floor.
This Chest gives you a Mythril Spinner. The first door leads to a Katz and a
Shop, as well as the Upgrade to A Rank. Go back to the 1st floor and SAVE.
Head to the first Elevator, and go to the 3rd floor, the chest has Mythril
Gauntlets. Go back to the second elevator, 2nd floor gets you a Red Savory.
Go to the 4th floor on this elevator. Make sure your above lvl 40, I'm at lvl
42. If your under leveled, Battle the vanguard. Theres a new path this
elevator opens up, go down it and be prepared. Theres a black switch on the
wall to open the doors.
This is the 5th floor, theres only one door here, and passed it is a library.
Wait what? isn't Marta suppose to be here? well anyway, Go around the room and
hit A when "Examine" appears, there are 4 places to do it at before a scene
takes place. I added Sheena to the party. Okay head down the path. Go to the
2nd glow spot, And theres Marta. You heard Sheena, head to the 3rd glowing
spot. Save then head to the right. Enter the door. A Mythril Sword waits in
the chest. Leave the room and head to the right, and you'll meet up with
Genis, Raine, and Presea.
Raine is simply better at healing then Marta. Genis uses powerful spells, and
Zelos is the best person for the fouth member as he is a front line fighter,
can heal, and cast spells. So unless Marta is higher in level then Raine. I
would have Raine in her place, to make things easier. Go up the stairs, and go
through the doors.
------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------------
Brute lvl 55 HP 91362 element Earth.
This is why you need the best combo you got. The strongest healier you have.
(Most likly Raine. Unless you've trained Marta to over lvl 45.) Genis, and
Zelos. (Or someone who could be better at what they do. Which is unlikely.)
Use Mystic Arts, and use every trick you have, this battle isn't going to be
easy. When he's low on HP he'll use a Mystic Art and all your guys will have
1 HP left, Quickly use a Gel on someone, cause he'll attack as soon as he can.
Use the life bottles on Raine First as she heals people. (Or Marta if you
picked her over Raine.) Once everyone is back up, finish him off with a
Mystic Art fast before he can do another one.
This battle wiped out my items, and I had to use 4 mystic arts. But I won.
Exp 20000, Gald 39600, Holy Symbol x1, Ruby x1.
------------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
------------------------
I don't think you have to win that battle, But I don't know, I always win it.
The only guest there is, is Presea. The elevator there, is a short cut.
------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------------
Richter lvl 60 HP 102096 Element Water.
This is a winnable battle. If you still have some items left. Richter can use
his Mystic Art right away as soon as it charges up. It'll do heavy damge to
everyone in range, but will leave people with at least one HP. My Monster in
this battle as well as Marta can heal people, plus Presea can take the heat
off of Emil. If you wanna try, try to win. Give it your best shot, watch HP,
Use Mystic Arts.
I almost won, but ran out of Life Bottles. Just a few attacks away. Oh well.
either way the scene is the same.
(I went back on my second play through, with both Emil and Marta at level
65, and two monsters at level 90. This was an easy battle. What I got for
winning is listed below.)
On the 7th floor of the Hotel, Is something that kind of look's like a little
AirShip in the area outside the room to the left of the windows. This is another
Recipe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Twilight Palace part 4 (Side-Quest.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do the "Teasure Hunter's Trophy The Truth" Quest. By the time your done, You'll
have a new Title for Emil, A new title for Marta, and Emil best weapon in the
game.
At the start, there are to torches, one red, one blue. Pick one and light it,
then follow the path, All the chests have really good items. So get everything
you can get. At the end of whichever path you picked, is a torch of the other
color, light it to get the other chests and open the other path. After getting
the items here, continue on to the first boss.
Items: Lion Heart, Star Bereaker, Fairy Tale, Healer's Ribbon.
The Star Bereaker and Healer's Ribbon both half TP cost. Fairy Tale bring it
down by 20%. Just so you as they don't say it, but that's one of the things
they do.
The right and left path's are big stair cases with a monster battle and a
chest on top of them.
Items: Master Mind, Warrior's Bandanna.
Now head back to the place with the first boss battle, and head forward. It's
another room just like the other two, and it holds the final battle. I think
I like the Blue room the best. Anyway, When you reach the top of the green
room, get the left and right chests before going near the middle one. Have all
you new items Equip as they are the best you have right now before starting the
battle, and save the big guy for last. Thanks to all the items, Useing Mystic
Artes should take very much TP at all, so use as many as you can on any monster
you want. You'll get over 100,000 Exp for winning, and over 50,000 Gald for
winning, and this boss will drop Nether Traitor. Emil's best weapon. This sword
is not only powerful, but will heal more HP then the Holy Symbol. Enjoy it.
You'll also get a really rare monster, one that infact you can only get by
doing this Quest.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Quest Over...

````````````````````
Tower of Salvation
````````````````````

You have 7 Guests now, all them are at level 50 which is the highest that they
go in this game. These are their "End Game Stats/Level" Each one is strong.
But very different. Chose wisely who you put in your party.

Lloyd Joins your party, at this point I faze Marta out of the party all
together, as my fav charaters are Emil, Zelos, Genis, and Lloyd. You do what
you wish with the 8 guests in your party.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Side-Quests....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There are a few side quests you can do/finish right now. First I'll mention
Gladsheim, starting on you second time through the game, it'll appear when
Lloyd joins your party. I'm not going to cover it in this version of the
Walkthrough however. I'm sorry. There is already a walktrough out for just
that Side-Quest.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spirit of the Tree
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Simply Go back to the Tower of Salvation now, and to the New Tree.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lloyd's Mask.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go to Meltokio, and go up the stairs towards the caste. if you have all 3 of
Lloyd's mask to get a new Title. If you don't, Nothing happens.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Helping Richter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go to Sybak's Library next to view a Scene with Aqua, if you've finished the
Helping Richter side-quests that is.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alice's Past.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go to Palmacosta next, Then head off to Hima, head up the hill to talk with
Decus. After the scenes, Walk around Hima for a bit, I find it neat how NONE
of the monsters run after you. It seems monsters far to weak to fight you,
don't try to fight you at all.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Communion Spring.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is a new place on the map that just opened up, and since you never go
there during the main story, I made it a Side-Quest in this WalkThrough.

If you follow the path and talk to the person, you can take a bath and have
a scene happen. Pick Guys or Girls. If you pick the guys, You get a funny
scene, something like this happened to Lloyd in the last game, he even mentions
it during this. And Emil gains a Title. You finally have a title the Lloyd got
in the last game. lol. Talk to the man again and pick yes, the other sex will
go into the springs for another funny scene. Marta Gains the same title as
Colette did. Oh and this is the SECOND time this has happened to poor Lloyd...
Lloyd's Title will now change from Lone General to Peeping Tom. Talk to him
again, and you'll just be healed on up. Inside the building the only thing
there is a shop with some GREAT Items.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Recipe
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go to the door of the building, then head left to be above the clif, go around
a tree and talk to the white thing. You'll get the Recipe Fried Rice.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Katz Village
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There's a shop, and an out door inn. As well as the Main Katz Shop. In the
New Game + the elder (At the very Top.) Lets you see Skits you viewed before.

It's the fire next to the Inn. The Recipe is Steak.

`````````````````````
Martel Temple
`````````````````````

Okay, This is the next place for the Story. Go here. Enter the Temple. Inside
head forward, and Blue light blocks your way, That's were we want to go...
Well who said this would be easy? Go back down, take the path to the right, as
the other is blocked.

Follow the path and go down the stairs. A monster will be waiting for you,
battle it. A Box appears. The idea is simple, battle the monster, push the
block into one of the holes that match it's colors, and repeat until you've
made paths to each of the 3 places. Sometimes you need to go down there to push
a block into place. This is easy so get to it. If you get a color you can't
use, drop it in the black holes. The left and right paths have a chest, as well
does the second set of stairs. After your done, go up the middle path. After
killing the monsters, Examine the blue circal on the stand. This unlocks the
Blue wall. Go there now. Warp, then Warp again.

SAVE!!! at the end of the path, then continue on. After the scenes, leave the
temple. You'll get a boss battle.

--------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
--------------------------
Crusader x2 lvl 56 HP 5322 Element Light
Pale Rider lvl 59 HP 16686 Element Ice

Kill the Crusaders first. You know how to handle boss battles by now. Get to
it. Actually this one is a fast win.

EXP 1761, Gald 0, Broken Armor x3.

---------------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
---------------------------

From now on, Emil will remain Normal in battles. What he says will be
different, And his Mystic Arte looks different. Exit here and go to Luin.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Talking to everyone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Before going to Luin, if you'd like some extra Cut scenes, then go and talk to
everyone else. The people and their locations.

Colette Is in Iselia in front of the school.
Raine is in Sabak in front of the library.
Genis is in Palmacosta
Regal is in Izoold at the docks.
Shenna is in Mizuho, take your first left to see her.
Zelos is in Meltokio in front of the palace.
Presea is in Altessa's house.
Yuan is in the Tower of Sakvation.
Lloyd is in Flanoir in front of the church.

Yuan's scene is different between the first time through, and the New Game
Plus time through.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Talking over...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

``````````````````
Luin
``````````````````

Email is by himself with his monsters, I'd avoid battles if I was you. Incase
you forgot, Emil's home is above the Inn. Go there and talk to his uncle. Next,
Go to the Lloyd Statue. Leave and go to Altamira.

``````````````````
Altamira
``````````````````

Marta gains a new title. Everyone joins you again. You get alot of skits if
you wait around.... Poor Lloyd, he can't catch a break.... Funny, normally it's
Tenebie's job to do that.... Way a go Genis.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Last of the Side-Quests.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Nobles again...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go to Meltokio if you've viewed the other scene's with the Nobles.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Friends we leave behind...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Head back to Luin, Go to the Lloyd Staute and talk to the boys there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Past.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go to Iselia for a scene. Next head to Flanoir. After the scene, head to the
church, Lloyd's infront of it, and another scene will happen.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Coliseum Battles.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If you finished the Twilight Palace Sikde-Quest. The Single battles will be a
piece of cake for both Emil and Marta. If you beat the highest rank, you gain
a title for the one who beat it.

Tips Emil: With his Sword, and a Holy Symbol or two Equip, all you have to do
is fight, and free run around avoiding attacks when you need to heal up.

Tips Marta: Equip her skills Speed cast 1 and 2, and give her two Mystic
Symbols. With this and the items from the Twilight palace, she can't be beat,
the items from Twilight palace will make it so all her spells cost 1 TP. and
the Mystic Symbols, along with the two skills make it so all her spells cast
the second you use them. So you can pretty spam Prism Sword (keep casting it
over and over.) to win all the battles, and in the unlikly event that she gets
hurt, you can use First Aid and Heal to bring her hp back to full before the
enemy can hurt her again.

The person at the top of your party list is the one who enters the battles. So
when your ready to use the other one, just swich them in the line up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last of the titles.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You can travel the world makeing pacts with monsters until you get Emil's
three Monster Titles. (You get the last when you Fill the Katz's Shop all the
up.) and then talking to the Katz afterwards.

Then you can collect all of the Recipe's to get Marta's Two Cooking Titles.

You can also go for Emil's Berserker Title by battling 256 monsters on hard
mode or higher, You change modes by going into thed Meau, then into the
"Systems" meau, then into the Options meau. You can make this easier by
battling really weak monsters on hard mode. After you win enough battles, talk
to any Katz Shop to gain this title.

If you finish Gladsheim you can get one title for each Emil and Marta. As well
as alot of really great items, and you have a small chance of getting Marta's
best weapon in the whole game.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some Quests can be returned too...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Most Titles (Like the fishing one.) Can be returned to, to get it now, and
any Recipe you missed you can get right now as well.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Items, Oh the poor items...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Do you have an item that you've fallen in love with? Well you don't get to
keep most items for the New Game Plus. Only healing items, food items, and
synth items. BUT there is a cheap trick to keep any items that you equip to the
"Other 1" and "Other 2" item spots. Equip those items to a monster you own, any
monster, and then use the Grade shop to keep your monsters in the New Game Plus,
and those items will still be Equiped to them. I would save any Holy Symbols,
Mystic Symbols, Spirit Symbols, Or monster Statue items.

ANything you do not plan on useing for the final dungen, Sell NOW. And I mean
EVERYTHING. You can carry over Gald to your New Game Plus. So why let the items
go to waste by disappearing when you can make Gald for your next game?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On to the final dungen...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

`````````````````````
Otherworldly Gate.
`````````````````````

This is the LAST dungen of the game, Do anything like buying items, or Quests,
or anything else you want to do before going here. Be at least lvl 45, like I
am right now, and be prepared for some tough battles.

Follow the path, The monsters are tough, many know how to heal. At times, when
all the monsters, or most of them can heal. It maybe better just to run from
the battle. Normally I'd NEVER tell someone to do this. But if your not good at
battleing, or if your haveing a hard time. It would be for the best that you
DIDN'T face the stronger teams of monsters. Haveing said that, learn what
monsters heal, and kill them first.

Sometimes it doesn't matter which path you take, like with the fork, they only
split long enough for a chest to be there. It's Blood Lust, But I don't use it.
It drains a few stats for defence. and there are stronger armors out there to
use.

You'll come to a save point, and a elevator area. Walk into the middle of the
circle, and Press A. In this place, along the outter ring are huge sheets of
different color Ice. You need to melt them, there are 4 in all, at each of the
8 points theres a monster waiting for you. Their like the boss monsters in
quests, walk NEAR them and you have to battle. Not touch them, go near them.
If you melt the Ice before going near the monster there, it'll disappear. If
you go around clock-wise, you won't have to battle any monsters. After all 4
are melted, go back to the center and continue down. The Next floor is the
same, Melt these 4 and continue down.

The Derris Emblem makes all the Guests disappear. Guess we gotta find them.
Follow the path.

----------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
----------------------

Decus Lvl 58 HP 75864 Element Fire
Alice Lvl 57 HP 63480 Element Ice

If you heard or read about the rummor of in this part of a game there being a
"Boy and Girl" you need to lose to. It's NOT this battle. That's later on.

Kill Alice FIRST! Trust me, make your life eaiser and kill her FIRST. She can
heal, and will bring Decus up to full at anytime she pleases. Mystic Art her to
pieces! and BE CAREFUL! they can and will quickly kill off your monsters and
you. Decus can beat anyone on your team one on one. So you need to watch him,
oh and he has gained a Mystic art. Don't let Alice use heal on herself or
Decus. If you can't handle things, use the All-Divie. If you have one. It
halfs all Damge done to everyone, but gives Marta and your Monsters more time
to heal everyone. If that's still not enough, level up. Go to level 50 or even
55 and try again.

I won at lvl 47 without the All-Divie. So it can be done. You just need to be
lucky and have tons of Items.

EXP 30000, Gald 82800, Mystic Symbol x1, Mana Symbol x1.

----------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
----------------------

After beating those two, head back to the save point to save, then continue on.
Theres a chest hiden near were you fought them. It has Red Lavender in it.
All you really have to do is follow the path, when it splits on path leads to a
chest. Keep going and you'll find the others. After the others have rejoined
you, form an all human/Half-elf team. Trust me, the monsters are no help in
these later battles. Continue forward to meat Aqua.

----------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
----------------------
Ladon/Aqua Lvl 54 HP 93814 Element Water

Compaired to the last boss battle, this one is easy. Try to stay behind him
to avoid most of his attacks. The only other thing I really need to say is
save any items you have left.

Exp 22000, Gald 0, Aquamarine x1

-----------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
-----------------------

Save at the save point. Emil is now at level 50 for me, this is good. You
want him no less then level 50 by now. Use Raine's or another healier you
plan to leave out of battle to heal up your party. Then continue past where
Aqua was. Yay! A new save spot! and it heals you up and gives you your TP back!
Well Save and continue on. Only boss battles remain from here on out, if you
need more items, turn back now and get them. Then save here on your way back.

------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------------

Richter lvl 80 HP 148503 Element Fire

... This is the hardest boss you'll face, but not the last. Watch yourself
with him, He has a Mystic, he has power, he has speed. Let your team back you
up. If you lose, return with a team full of healiers. (The best human ones you
have are Marta, Raine, and Zelos.) However he looks stronger then he actully
is. Circal around to his back to avoid his attacks. As long as you make sure
your healiers aren't dead. You'll win.

Restocking Items right before this battle makes it SOOOO much easier. I <3 Gels
and Life Bottles.

Exp 30000, Gald 47970, Orichalcum x1.

------------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
------------------------

------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------------

Marta lvl 50 HP 9264 Element Light
Lloyd lvl 50 HP 15375 Element Fire

If you win, you get a bad ending. So you need to lose this battle. You can lose
it faster by staying close to Lloyd. Use no attacks, and no items. Lose this
battle and lose it fast. It also helps to change Emil from Semi-Auto to
Manual so he doesn't block.

------------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
------------------------

------------------------
BOSS BATTLE!!!
------------------------

Emil lvl 50 HP 12078 Element Dark

That's right, your fighting yourself in a one on one battle for the final
Boss battle of the game! I hope you have tons of Items. Just think of what
Emil can do, his attacks, and his Mystic arts. Because that's what he can do.
You need to either have enough items, or be more skilled then him. I'm at lvl
51 thatnks to the other Boss Battle. Plus I have tons of Items. This is a
easy battle if you know what your doing, and by now, you should know.

Actually, this is a piece of cake, You only need one lemon Gel to win, I didn't
even get the chance to use my Mystic art. They could of, NO SHOULD of made this
an epic battle. but NO. anyway, you get....

Exp 6000, Gald 33825

-----------------------
BATTLE ENDED!!!
-----------------------

Enjoy the ending scenes. You've beaten the game, however there is still much to
do, and to enjoy about this game. I'll now give you my end Game stats, as well
as tell you about the Grade shop and how it works.

Thanks for useing my Guide.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

First things first, Emil and Marta both gain a title for beating the game, if
you got the best ending.

My time was 31 hours and 22 minutes. Not bad, but It would of been alot less
had I not been writeing this Guide.

A star appears on the save file. That means you can start a New Game + from
this. I'm not sure of the set amount. But you get some grade for beating the
game, it's then times the number of stars you have on the file, and added to
your total grade from the last play through. You gain Grade in battles, so
your amount maybe different from mine. However I got 972 grade. Next is the
list of cheats you can buy, you buy what you want to use in the next
playthrough of the game. So enjoy useing them as they can make the game easier
or harder depending on what you want.

Skills - 250
All the Skills your charaters know, except those gained from the cores, will
carry over to the new game.

Play Time - 20
You keep your play time and add onto it next play through.

30 Items - 150
Instead of only being able to have 20 of each item, you can have 30.

Items - 110
You keep Gels, food items, and other such things for the next playthrough.

Gald - 200
Your currect Gald amount carrys over.

Recipes - 50
All the recipes you've gotten so far carry over.

Titles - 50
All the titles you've collected carry over.

Monster Book - 10
You keep the data you've collected on monsters.

Battle info - 10
You keep the encounter count and combo count amounts.

Artes - 350
Your arts carry over to the new game.

Maximum HP - 50
You'll start the game with 500 more HP.

Minimum HP - 10
you begin with 160 HP (Less then normal.)

Combos - 50
This gives you more Bouns Exp in each battle.

1/2 exp - 10
You earn HALF the normal exp.

2x exp - 300
You gain twice the normal exp.

10x exp - 2000
you gain 10 times the normal exp.

Grade - 20
You gain more grade in battles. (Helps you have more grade for the next New
Game +)

Monsters - 200
You keep all the monster, at the current lvl, and with their current items
that you have.

Skits - 0
You keep the data on skits. (I never really use this one...)

Note: You can't use more then ONE item to effect something, such as if you
use 2x exp, you can't use anything else the effects exp. However you have no
need to, as it would be kind of pointless. Pick what you want, and start the
game over, oh and you can use this walkthrough again to help with what you've
forgotten. Enjoy!

Information for the side quests apart from the main walkthrough.

```````````````````````````````
The Good, The Bad, The Normal.
```````````````````````````````

<Part 1>
In Chapter one, during a story event in Luin where you have to pick if you
plegde to Lloyd or not. Pick not to for the Good Ending path, or Plegde to him
to take the normal ending path.

<Part 2>
Every time you enter the Triet ruins until you reach the core, adds 1 point to
the todal. If you picked to swear to Lloyd before, you start out with 5 points.
If you get to 9 or more points, Lloyd will steal the core, and you'll lose your
chance at the best ending.

<Part 3>
In the lighting temple, if your hit more then 14 times by lighting, you lose
the core to Lloyd and your chance at the best ending. If your hit less then 14
times, the you'll get the Core.

<Part 4>
At the end of the game, after you fight Richter, there is 2 more fights. if you
win the one right after richter, you'll get the wrost ending. You have to lose
that battle to get the normal or good endings.

`````````````````````````
Lloyd's Mask
`````````````````````````

You have to shoot for the normal ending and let Lloyd steal one more core
other then Lumen's core to complete this quest.

<Part 1>
When Lloyd steal's Lumen's core, you have to pick up a mask in order to leave
the room. You don't have a choice about it. This is the start of this quest.

<Part 2>
No matter if you got or lost the Core in the Triet Ruins. Lloyd leaves behind a
mask. Pick it up.

<Part 3>
In the lighting Temple, if and only if you LOSE the core to Lloyd. He'll drop
another mask. Pick it up.

<Part 4>
After Lloyd joins your team, head to Meltokio and go up the stairs to the
Palace. You'll gain a new Title.

`````````````````````````
Helping Richter
`````````````````````````

<Part 1>
In Chapter 2, while your passing through Hakonesia Peak, talk to Koton inside
the only building there.

<Part 2>

--------------
Boss Fight!!!
--------------

Igniter lvl 70 HP 24914 Element Fire. x2
Were Bear lvl 80 HP 36486 Element Fire. x2
Phoenix lvl 120 HP 24596 Element Fire. x1

This is going to be a hard fight if you level 50 or higher, and I'm trying it
now at lvl 29. I don't even have the Mystic art!!! And man would that be
useful.

Well I was right. I die in 30 seconds. >.>' Moveing on.

------------------
Boss fight over!!!
------------------

Go to the Blue fan, and Descend. If you wish to hunt for chests, go ahead and
do so. But the fastest way through here is to go all the way left, then up,
then to the left pushing the thing out of the way, then head up for a
cut-scene.

------------------
Boss Fight!!!
------------------

Thargelion lvl 5 HP 6225 Element Wind.

I battled this guy on hard mode (You should be doing it on normal mode.) and
it was an easy battle.

Exp 10, Gald 0, No items.

------------------
Boss Fight End!!!
------------------

Well all that's left is to leave and return to Asgard, then to find Marta.
She's at the mayor's house of course.

<Part 3>
When at Triet, once you have the Jellyfish, exit and re-enter Triet before
returning to Izoold. When given the choice. Pick the option to see Richter.
The head off to the inn, He's waiting in the room on the first floor. The door
is in the left of the room, very easy to see. After talking to Richter, You'll
be at the Camberto Caves. Go off and go to the Rosemary planet. I just love the
Skit's between Richter and Emil. And find the cooking one really funny. After
the scenes at the Rosemary, You'll be in Iselia, go to Colette's house. After
the scenes, You'll now be at Triet. Go left, past all the shops, and to a
human shaped hole in the side of a building. This hole was caused by Colette
tripping and falling into the building early on in the last game.... Anyway,
Now it's a landmark that Triet is very pround of... You'll find Marta there.

<Part 4>
As soon as you try to leave Sybak, you'll run into Richer and end up at Cape
Fortress. Go down the Blue Knight's path. You gain a new title after your
done.

<Part 5>
After Lloyd join's your party, head to Sybak's Library.

`````````````````````````
Alice's Past
`````````````````````````

<Part 1>
After leaveing Palmacosta, but before going to the Dynasty ruins. Head to Luin
to view a scene.

<Part 2>
After entering Izoold for the first time, Leave it right away and head to
Iselia, then to the school Building.

<Part 3>
Before going to Meltokio, Stop by the Iselia Human Ranch for some Cut-Scenes.

<Part 4>
After entering the Earth temple, and being sent to Meltokio. Go up the Stairs.

<Part 5>
After Lloyd joins your party. Go to Palmacosta, Then head off to Hima, head up
the hill to talk with Decus.

`````````````````````````
Twilight Palace
`````````````````````````

<Parts 1-3>

Starting at Chapter 5, there is one quest a chapter title "Treasure hunter's
Trophy." Do them, and during Chapter 8 another one appears, and that is the
Twilight Palace.

<Part 4>
Do the "Teasure Hunter's Trophy The Truth" Quest. By the time your done, You'll
have a new Title for Emil, A new title for Marta, and Emil best weapon in the
game.

At the start, there are to torches, one red, one blue. Pick one and light it,
then follow the path, All the chests have really good items. So get everything
you can get. At the end of whichever path you picked, is a torch of the other
color, light it to get the other chests and open the other path. After getting
the items here, continue on to the first boss.

Items: Lion Heart, Star Bereaker, Fairy Tale, Healer's Ribbon.

The Star Bereaker and Healer's Ribbon both half TP cost. Fairy Tale bring it
down by 20%. Just so you as they don't say it, but that's one of the things
they do.

The right and left path's are big stair cases with a monster battle and a
chest on top of them.

Items: Master Mind, Warrior's Bandanna.

Now head back to the place with the first boss battle, and head forward. It's
another room just like the other two, and it holds the final battle. I think
I like the Blue room the best. Anyway, When you reach the top of the green
room, get the left and right chests before going near the middle one. Have all
you new items Equip as they are the best you have right now before starting the
battle, and save the big guy for last. Thanks to all the items, Useing Mystic
Artes should take very much TP at all, so use as many as you can on any monster
you want. You'll get over 100,000 Exp for winning, and over 50,000 Gald for
winning, and this boss will drop Nether Traitor. Emil's best weapon. This sword
is not only powerful, but will heal more HP then the Holy Symbol. Enjoy it.

You'll also get a really rare monster, one that infact you can only get by
doing this Quest.

`````````````````````````
The Nobles of Tethe'alla.
`````````````````````````

<Part 1>
After going to Meltokio, leave right away and head to Aisha's house in Asgard.
Before the stairs leading to her house, head to the right to watch the first
scene.

<Part 2>
Just before the final Dungen. Go to Meltokio to view the final scene.

`````````````````````````
Hawk and Magnar's Rivalry
`````````````````````````

When you enter the lighting temple, Head bad to Sybak as soon as you get to the
Lighting Temple. Then head to the Academy, where a Cut-Scene happens. After,
Head to Meltokio, The next scene takes place near Zelos' House. After head to
the spot behind the item shop. After head back to Sybak's academy.

`````````````````````````
Spirit of the Tree
`````````````````````````

Go to the Tower of Salvation and go up to the tree after Lloyd is in your
party.

`````````````````````````
