    A. Controls:
I'm assuming all of y'all are playing on the Wii, but I guess it doesn't really
matter since you're basically just using a mouse anyways.
For this game you will need: WIIMOTE.
A button: To select things and use objects and such! This is your primary
Walk: You can press on the environment to have Strong Bad walk to that
Run: Press A a couple of times, and then hold it. Simply hold the
button while moving the cursor around to continously run. This is helpful into
moving from one part of the screen to another.
Select: Move the cursor over certain things and their name will pop up,
with the cursor changing into little down arrow. Click on it to interact. You
can do the same with PHOTO, INVENTORY, MAP, and MAIN MENU buttons up at the
B button: Press it to skip through cutscenes and people talking!
The MAIN MENU button up in the top right brings you to the MAIN MENU, in which
you can do all the stuff advertisted there, like SAVING and LOADING.
INVENTORY brings up the inventory, where you can select something, then select
another object in the environment to have it interact with.
MAP: The map shows the locations you've found/placed on your map so far. These
locations can then be selected and then, after a brief load, Strong Bad will be
transported there. Some of the locations, like the ones near BUBS CONCESSION
STAND can be found by running sideways from the concession stand until you see
them all and are then placed on the map. All the others, however, will have to
be placed on the map after certain interactions will cue Strong Bad into the
fact that he has to travel there.
PHOTO: Takes photos of the game screen, which you can then send to other types
using the Wii. They don't even have to own the game!
    B. Items!
How to acquire: Ask homestar about the race and the party until he starts to
repeat himself, then exit out of the conversation. Marzipan will call Homestar,
which will be followed by Homestar apparently getting mad over his vegan fueled
party. He'll kick his phone in frustration, and then storm into the locker
room. Run over by COACH Z and pick it up.
Uses: You can use it to send prank phone calls to people, which is hilarious.
When you call everyone, you'll finish one of those achievement type things. A
more important use of the phone is to call MARZIPAN when at the track to get
her to come down so you can go and get the HOMESTAR HEAD and ONION from her
Another important use is to hand the phone to HOMESTAR after you make MARZIPAN
his girlfriend again so he gets the crap out of your kitchen.
How to acquire: Go to MARZIPAN'S front yard and snatch them from near the
Use: Tie them to HEAVY LOURDE when re-doing the race to make the weight/pogo
    portion a lot faster.
How to acquire: Call MARZIPAN using the PHONE, from the TRACK to have her exit
the vicinity of her house. Go over there and pick one from her garden.
    Use: Used on HOMESTAR.
How to acquire: Use the ONION on HOMESTAR and then have him take a shower. Open
his locker while he's in there, and swipe them.
Uses: You wear them in conjucture with the HOMESTAR HEAD to disguise your bad
self as Homestar Runner. You can use this disguise to enter the race in
HOMESTAR'S absence during both Part 1 and Part 2.
How to acquire: Talk to Marzipan in her back yard (if you called her away using
the PHONE, just visit the TRACK, where a small cutscene will show her leaving)
and ask her about the HEDGES. She tells you her clippers are in the shop, so
visit BUBS CONCESSION STAND and ask BUBS about the clippers. He'll give you
Uses: This object has two important uses. The first is to clip away at the four
hedges in the game (KOT castle, near Bubs, at the end of the track, and on the
side of Marzipan's house) to form awesome hedge sculptures and to get HEDGE
CLIPPINGS. If you trim all four, you get a trophy! The second reason is to use
it on the HOMESTAR STATUE to acquire the HOMESTAR HEAD.
How to acquire: Lure MARZIPAN away from her house by using the PHONE, while at
the TRACK. Go into her backyard, and use the HEDGE CLIPPERS on the HOMESTAR
STATUE. A cutscene will play, and you will have the head.
Uses: If you have HOMESTAR'S CLOTHES, Strong Bad will put the two items
together, forming the HOMESTAR OUTFIT. You can then use this disguise to get
    into the race.
How to acquire: Acquire both the HOMESTAR HEAD and HOMESTAR'S CLOTHES.
Uses: To disguise yourself as HOMESTAR to enter the race.
How to acquire: Enter the room to the left of the basement entrance in the
HOUSE OF STRONG. The detector will be sitting against the wall.
Uses: Using it in certain areas, such as Strongbadia, will make Strong Bad pull
it out. You can walk around with it, and when the solo gets extra face-
meltingly, Strong Bad will pull out a marker and set it down. Use your SHOVEL
on the mark to achieve treasure!
How to acquire: Check Strong Bad's email during Part 1, and read the email
about BULK. Strong Bad will order a free sample of TOTAL LOAD. After awhile,
they'll send another email saying that the order has been received, and that
you can pick it up at BUBS CONCESSION STAND when it arrives. After Part 2
starts, they'll send you an email telling you that the order has arrived. Go to
BUBS and talk to him about TOTAL LOAD. He'll then give it to you.
Use: Used to disqualify POM POM.
How to acquire: After Part 2 starts, there will be a big BOX on top of Strong
Bad's table right next to his front door. Click on it to receive the jello
Use: Go to the TRACK and use it on the WATER surrounding the LOG. This will
turn the water into not water, allowing you to easily skip through the log
    portion of the race.
How to acquire: Go to the TRACK, and near the STANDS there will be a small
stack. Click on it, and Strong Bad will take all of the COUPONS.
Use: Use them on BUBS to acquire the CANDY.
How to acquire: Use the COUPONS on BUBS.
Uses: Place the CHOCOLATE on the WELCOMING MAT in front of MARZIPAN'S door to
achieve one part of Make Homestar Runner Leave My Freaking House.
How to acquire: Use the HEDGE CLIPPERS on any of the HEDGES, then grab them
    from the ground.
Use: To place on the HOLES digged in Marzipan's yard to form a trap.
How to acquire: Swipe it from the first room of KOT'S CASTLE when the POOPSMITH
    isn't looking.
Use: To dig HOLES in the LOOSE DIRT at Marzipan's.
How to acquire: Swipe it from the second room of the KOT'S CASTLE when the
    POOPSMITH isn't looking.
Use: Used on the DRAIN in the first room of the CASTLE.
How to acquire: Swipe it from the third room of the KOT'S CASTLE after sneaking
    through the VENTS.
Use: Give it to HOMESTAR to achieve part of the plan to make him leave.
How to acquire: Get a run that is under COACH Z'S on the race, then disqualify
    POM POM.
Use: Give it to HOMESTAR to achieve part of the plan to make him leave.
How to acquire: Activate conga music and then swipe it from underneath your
    table in Part 3.
Use: Used to get them out of the house.
    C. Characters! Their roles in the game!
Pretty much everyone from the cartoon is all up ins!
Strong Bad: The most awesome player character ever.
Strong Sad: Really doesn't do much except mope around in his room.
Strong Mad: Guards the records in the castle along with the Poopsmith.
Homestar Runner: Goals for the game in chronological order: 1.) ruin his
reputation. 2.) restore his reputation to get him out of the house. 3.) get him
    out of the house again.
Marzipan: Homestar's broom like "for this week" girlfriend.
Pom Pom: World class athlete and local bubblem'n.
Coach Z: Fulfilling the role of local official for the race.
King of Town: Announces the race, stows away the records, and keeps your grubby
    mitts from that bannana peel.
    Poopsmith: Ew, whatsit.
Homsar: You can call him on the phone! It's crazy!
Bubs: He runs the concession stand where you pick up a fair number of the
    D. Walkthrough!
Part 1: Beat The Snot Out of Homestar Runner? Sure! [0da]
    House of Strong:
After STRONG BAD gets done readin the email, open up the MAP and place the
TRACK somewhere on it. Enter the room to the left of the BASEMENT ENTRANCE on
the MAIN FLOOR to find a table with the TEEN GIRL SQUAD COMICS MAKER, a FUN
MACHINE with SNAKE BOXER V, and a METAL DETECTOR up against the wall. Grab the
detector. Go UPSTAIRS and into the COMPUTER ROOM. Click on the LAPPY and check
EMAILS. Select the BULK email and watch Strong Bad's answer, where he orders a
free sample of TOTAL LOAD. Select TRACK on the map and go there.
Go up to HOMESTAR and talk to him about both the RACE and the PARTY until he
starts repeating. Then exit the conversation by clicking the down arrow to the
right of the conversation options. MARZIPAN will call him, HOMESTAR will hang
up and kick the PHONE away, near COACH Z. He will then storm off into the
LOCKER ROOMS. Run over and grab the PHONE, thank talk to COACH Z. Again: talk
to him until he starts repeating, then place MARZIPAN'S HOUSE on the map. Go
    there next.
    Marzipan's House:
Run to the back yard and talk to MARZIPAN. Talk to her about HEDGES and she'll
tell you her HEDGE CLIPPERS are being fixed by BUBS. Place BUBS CONCESSION
STAND on your map and go there next.
    Bubs Concession Stand:
Talk to BUBS about the HEDGE CLIPPERS and he will give you the pair. Now star
running left until you reach the stand again. That brisk run will put THE
the CLIPPERS on the HEDGE in the area, then grab the HEDGE CLIPPINGS from the
ground. Go back to the TRACK.
Run to the far right on the track, and use the HEDGE CLIPPERS on the HEDGE.
Grab the HEDGE CLIPPINGS. Use the PHONE and call MARZIPAN. She says she'll be
right over, giving you the chance to go grab some items at her house. Go there
    Marzipan's House:
Again go to the back of her house. Go to the ONION PATCH and steal an ONION
from it. Then go and admire the totally vegan sculpture of Homestar before you
use the HEDGE CLIPPERS on it. After narrowly escaping detection, journey back
    to the Track.
Go into the LOCKER ROOM and use the ONION on HOMESTAR. He'll belive the fake
advice, and use it on himself. Talk to HOMESTAR about SHOWERING and he'll jump
right in after he takes off his clothes and stores them in the LOCKER. Select
the LOCKERS and open the middle one, then take HOMESTAR'S CLOTHES. Exit the
LOCKER ROOM. After the cutscene, put on the HOMESTAR OUTFIT and talk to COACH
While on the log, maintain your balance by rotating the wiimote to the left and
right. While you can't fall off, Strong Bad won't really move forward unless
it's in the middle. After you're done on the log and Strong Bad picks up the
heavy lourde and gets on the pogo stick, keep pressing A to get to the end.
After that, just press A when the game prompts you to, which makes you jump
over the obstacles. No matter how well you do this segment, you'll never beat
Coach Z or Pom Pom's time.
Part 2: Starring H. Runner as The Fugitive! [0db]
    House of Strong:
Select the TV downstairs and watch that, then place the KOT'S CASTLE on your
MAP. Run upstairs and talk to HOMESTAR in both STRONG BAD'S ROOM and THE
KITCHEN. Grab the GEL-A-TON from the table, and then go UPSTAIRS and check your
EMAILS to find an email that says you can pick up the TOTAL LOAD at BUBS
CONCESSION STAND. But first, another errand! To the Track!
Go over to the STANDS and take the COUPONS. Now on to the stand!
    Bubs Concession Stand:
Go talk to BUBS and ask him about the TOTAL LOAD. He'll give the bottle to you.
Now select COUPONS and select BUBS. He'll give you the CANDY. Head to the KOT'S
    CASTLE next.
    King of Town's Castle:
Use the HEDGE CLIPPERS on the HEDGE. Pick up the HEDGE CLIPPINGS and click on
the DOOR to go in. Now this is a sneaking mission, Strong Bad, so the use of
stealth will be required. Take the SHOVEL by the wall next to the DRAIN, and
then click on the STATUE to hid behind it. Wait until the POOPSMITH is on the
lefthand pile of whatsit, then move into the second room to the right. Grab the
PLUNGER here. To the right is the RECORDS ROOM where STRONG MAD waits to toss
you out. Work your way back to the DRAIN by using the BONSAI TREE, PRIVACY
SCREEN, and STATUE to hid from the POOPSMITH. Select the PLUNGER and use it on
the DRAIN. Then click on the PLUNGER again to jump up to the VENT. Make your
way to the right, then drop down and take the CRIMINAL RECORD. Now that you're
out of the castle with your prize, it's time to move on to the next challenge.
    Marzipan's House:
Select the SHOVEL and use it on all three of the patches of LOOSE DIRT. While
you're at it, go to the side of the house and use the HEDGE CLIPPERS on the
HEDGE if you haven't already. If you've done this to all four, you'll get a
trophy. Pick up the HEDGE CLIPPINGS. Once you've turned all the LOOSE DIRT into
HOLES, place the HEDGE CLIPPINGS on top of each one. Put on the HOMESTAR OUTFIT
and ring the doorbell. Afterwards, take the CANDY and place it on her WELCOME
MAT. Second challenge complete, so go forward to the Track!
Go toward the log and use the GEL-A-TON on the WATER, turning it into jello.
Next, select the BALLOONS and use it on the HEAVY LOURDE. Click the CURDLED
MILK and then click the HURDLE to switch the positions of the two. Click on the
TURTLE and again click the HURDLE to switch the two, so the order should be
HURDLE, TURTLE, CURDLE. Put on the HOMESTAR OUTFIT and click on the CAMERA to
    start the race.
Same as the last time, but your goal is to get below 22 seconds, which should
be easy now that you've managed to clear all the obstacles. After you're
victory, you're back at the track, with POM POM and COACH Z having gone back
    into COACH Z'S OFFICE.
After the race, go into the LOCKER ROOMS. Click on the LOCKERS and open up POM
POM'S LOCKER. Select the TOTAL LOAD and then use it on POM POM'S BAG. Close the
locker door, and go up to the door to COACH Z'S OFFICE. Click the door, and ask
COACH Z about TOTAL LOAD. He'll get riled up and do an inspection on the
lockers. After the cutscene is over, you'll now have the TROPHY. Let's finish
    this up.
    House of Strong:
Go to the KITCHEN and use the PHONE on HOMESTAR. Next, go to the basement and
use the CRIMINAL RECORD on HOMESTAR. Finally, go up to STRONG BAD'S ROOM and
    use the TROPHY on HOMESTAR.
Part 3: This Is A No "People I Hate" Party Zone! [0dc]
Go up to each patron and talk to them awhile for some funtime responses. Try to
grab the BANNANA PEEL from under the KING OF TOWN to find out you're being
denied by his pizza munching habits. Now go up to the SEE DEE CHANGER, which
you can click to change the music. Talking to everyone after each music change
is hilarious but optional. Keep changing it until it reaches the conga music,
at which point everyone forms a conga line. Go to the table and grab the
BANNANA PEEL. When they are all on the right side, click on the LOUNGER to pull
it out, making everyone turn and start conga-ing towards the window. Select
the BANNANA PEEL and use it on EVERYONE.
Congratulations, you've just beat SBCG4AP: Homestar
Beating the game unlocks EXTENDED PLAY MODE.
    E. Secrets/Collectibles!
Well, in the game there are COSTUMES, TGS CARDS, and SNAKE BOXER V MANUAL PAGES
for you to collect and use.
There is a CAP in Strong Bad's mailbox.
There is a MOUSTACHE in one of the speakers at the track. Click the MICROPHONE
further down the track after Part 1 is done, and the MOUSTACHE will pop out.
There's a SHIRT for you to find in one of the BOXES in the belt of areas you
can go to from the CONCESSION STAND.
After you give MARZIPAN the CANDY and give the PHONE to HOMESTAR, you can take
the CHEF HAT from on top of the microwave after he leaves.
There also happens to be a secret shirt you can get if you click on the light
near THE CHEAT in the PHOTO BOOTH, hold it, and then drag onto yourself.
You also get a Belt after you get a highscore of 8 / get to the ninth snake in
SNAKE BOXER V. [thanks to Shock44]
    Manual Pieces:
There is one buried in STRONG BAD'S YARD. Use the METAL DETECTOR to find it,
and the SHOVEL to dig it up.
There is a piece of the manual in the BOX near BUBS CONCESSION STAND.
There is another piece buried in the yard of the KOT'S CASTLE. It's near the
left hand side, up towards the middle near the grass. Find it using the METAL
DETECTOR, and dig it up with the SHOVEL.
Talk to BUBS in extended play mode to get the last manual piece. [thanks to
    Slomoto18 for this]
    TGS Cards:
There's one buried out in STRONGBADIA to the left of the field.
Use the SHOVEL on the COOL CAR to get another card. [thanks to Slomoto18 for
There's another card buried right under the SIGN at the TRACK. Use the METAL
DETECTOR to find it, then use the SHOVEL to dig it up.
For the last card, go to the HOLE the KOT is in, and use the TOTAL LOAD on it.
    [thanks to Shock44 for this]
Obscure Trophies [need help clarifying, folks! Write in!]:
Hedge Trophy: Trim all four of the hedges. There's one on the side of
MARZIPAN'S HOUSE, there's one to the right of the TRACK, there's one near BUBS
CONCESSION STAND, and there's one near the DOOR at the KOT'S CASTLE.
Nuisance Trophy: I'm not exactly sure how to get it, but I think you need to
just make everyone mad when you can. So if you're talking to someone, and the
conversation option arises to talk about them, pick devil headed Strong Bad.
Just basically talk to everyone when they have new things to say, and
especially talk to them during the party. I got the trophy after I talked to
Marzipan and Coach Z during extended play. Just like the exploration trophy,
you'll get this if you just examine everything multiple times until Strong Bad
    starts repeating himself.
Exploration Trophy: Another obscure one. You basically seem to get percentage
for clicking on things that don't actually need to be clicked on in the pursuit
of the game. So just start examining everything I guess. Try digging up all the
loose dirt at Marzipan's house, examing the holes, putting the hedge clippings
on them, examing them again, throwing chocolate through them, talking to the
KOT in the hole, putting Total Load on Strong Mad's lunch box, clicking the
rave switch in Strong Bad's room, and just examining everything.
Strong Sad Trophy: This one you get for getting Strong Sad to appear outside of
    the house three times.
Appearance 1: Examine the HOLE you dug in the yard at the HOUSE OF STRONG.
Appearance 2: INSULT BUBS at his CONCESSION STAND, usually during EXTENDED
PLAY, until STRONG BAD talks about how much of a dump the concession stand is.
Appearance 3: Throw the CANDY into the HOLE the KOT will fall into. You can do
this even after he falls into the HOLE, because the game doesn't seem to notice
    either way.
