FAQ
These are questions that will probably be asked a lot. Therefore, they will be answered here.
Question 1: Help! Im stuck on [insert boss name here]!
Answer: Read the guide for that boss then.
Question 2: Help! Im STILL stuck on [insert boss name here], and I read your guide!
Answer: Just because you read the guide doesnt mean you can automatically beat the boss. The guides tell you how to beat the bosses along with a few tips, but you will also need to practice a little bit as well.
Question 3: Help! I'm stuck on this level...
Answer: This is a Boss FAQ, not a complete walkthrough.
Question 4: I want to fight the bosses again, but it wont let me! Is it possible to fight them again besides starting a new game?
Answer: Yes, when you defeat the Shake King for your very first time, you will be able to fight the bosses whenever you like.
Question 5: Wait, your guide says there are missions for each boss, but my game doesnt mention them, how do I play these missions?
Answer: Same as the answer to question 3, simply beat the Shake King for your first time.
Question 6: How do I get to the Shake King?
Answer: Defeat all of the other bosses. To get to them, buy their area maps and clear the levels before them.
Question 7: Is it possible to be timed or collect coins in boss fights?
Answer: The Shake King holds many coins in his boss fight whether you beat the game or not. Also, when you do beat the game, you will get a time limit for each boss thats only meant for the boss missions, but it is also recorded as a high score. You also get a 10,000 coin jewel instead of an emblem when you defeat the bosses after the game is completed.
Question 8: Help! Im trapped inside a box! How do I get out?
Answer: Please, ask questions that involve my guide or the bosses in Wario Land: Shake It!
If you have any other questions, feel free to catch me on the Wario Land: Shake It! message boards or perhaps other message boards if you see me.
Boss Guides
When you enter a boss stage from the map, you will have to walk right a little bit to reveal the boss door covered by a force field. The merfles you have saved will come and move the force field, and Wario will walk in by himself. You will see a short cutscene, which you must watch if this is your first time fighting the boss, and if it's not, you can skip it simply by pressing 2. Then the boss fight will start. Each boss has a certain amount of "stages". Once you take a certain fraction of health away from the boss, it will move on to the next "stage", which means it will get harder with new attacks and it may also have a new way of taking health from it. Once the boss is defeated, the emblem will be simply floating above you. Jump while under it to grab it and exit the boss stage. Once a boss is defeated, you can't fight it again until you beat the game. Good luck, and onto the boss guides!
WARNING: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
If I were you, I would just read the boss guide for the boss you are stuck on, and nothing else. Reading strategies for later bosses can spoil the game.
Rollanratl Battle
- Difficulty: Easy
- Area Map: 1
This giant robotic boss has six lives, unlike the other bosses where it is various depending on how you attack. This boss, being the first one in the game, shouldn't be too difficult either.
To start the battle off, his head will shake and smoke will come out. That's your signal that its head will hit the ground and cause an earthquake. Jump to be in midair while the robot's head hits the ground to avoid the earthquake. If you don't, you will flip over. If you flip over, play with the control pad and buttons 1 and 2 a little bit, (but not wildly), to get back up. If you are below the boss's head when it drops, you will be flattened. Either way, you can't take any damage during the first round, so don't worry. Now, with the boss's head on the ground, use your dash attack (1 button) against the side of the boss's head (you have about 3-4 seconds. When you do, the health bar gauge will empty a little bit, the sides of the boss's head will turn to a purple-red as opposed to the normal blue it was, and a force field will pop out pushing you away. The boss's head will go back up, the sides of his head will be blue again, and the process repeats. Also, it is possible to dash attack the side of the head again as it rises back up, you just need to run against the force-field and jump while using your dash attack right when the force-field disappears and the head is rising. Anyway, after taking a total of two lives away, stage two begins. Oh yeah, and if you can jump on top of the robots head after attacking it a second time and jump and move to overcome the force-field to stay on the robot's head, you will have a good start for the next stage.
The robot's eyes will get angry, and several purple-red rockets will hang from the ceiling, fall, and explode when they hit the ground (not all at once, thankfully). These explosions WILL hurt you, so watch out. Another set of rockets will do the same thing. After the second set, two blue rockets, one on each side of the boss, will fall but not explode (although, they will hurt you if they land on top of you). Instead, they will stick out of the ground. The one on the left will be sticking out almost entirely, while the one on the right will be a little deeper. Jump on top of either one, and dash attack and jump to attack the side of the robot's head. It's reachable from either rocket, so don't worry. You will have about 4-5 seconds before the rockets disappear though, so be quick. After this, the robot will do the same thing as he did in the first stage, except you will only have 2-3 seconds before the force-field comes out instead of 3-4 seconds. After this, the stage two process repeats until a total of two lives have been taken away from the boss, then it's on to the third and final stage.
The robot will withdraw two square platforms with spikes on the sides. The sides of the robot's head will drop and explode when they hit the ground, so stay away! The sides of the head will be replaced by spikes, and a button will appear on the top of the robot's head. The robot will try to land his head on you like the first stage, but if he flattens you, or you jump and avoid the earthquake, he will try a second time, and a third time if he flattens you or you avoid the quake a second time, but he won't try a fourth time even if he flattens you or you avoid the quake again. Now here comes your chance. The two spike platforms will start rotating counter-clockwise. They will each shoot four beams that will cause a hurtful explosion on the ground. They will both shoot at the same time, (that makes a total of eight beams and two at a time). What you need to do is jump on top of one of these platforms (watch the spikes!), and when the platform starts passing the robot's head, jump and ground-pound on the button on top of the robot's head. After you attack or the platforms finish attacking, the robot will move around and spike balls might come out of his head and bounce to either side. The platforms at the sides of the robot's head might shoot beams as well. After this, the platforms will rotate again, only clockwise and the process repeats. Once you take a total of two lives away in this stage, the boss will be defeated and you can collect your first emblem. Great job!
Hot Roderick Race
- Difficulty: Easy
- Area Map: 2
Throughout the entire battle, you will be riding a unibucket with a rocket-powered engine that is racing you through the desert, and in front of you is Roderick in a racecar with a rocket-powered engine as well. Be careful, the fire from his rocket goes pretty far and hurts you. You and Roderick are going at pretty much the same speed. The controls for the unibucket are simple, press 1 to punch with the boxing glove, 2 to jump, tilt the Wii-remote to the left to slow down and to the right to speed up. Okay, I will finally explain the boss fight and strategies to you.
Roderick will start the fight by throwing wrenches behind himself. You will need to use the boxing glove to punch the wrenches at his engine. Each wrench will take a little bit of health away. When you hit him with three wrenches, the engine will stop working for about five seconds. During this time, speed up to him and start punching the engine as much as you can. Each punch deals a little larger amount of damage than the wrenches. When the engine sets up to start-up again, quickly back up to avoid the fire of the engine. The process will repeat until about one-third of Roderick's health has been taken away, which will begin the next stage.
In the second stage, Roderick's car will be raised off of the ground while its tires stay on the ground. If you speed up to the tires, his car will lower as an attempt to burn you with the flames of the engine, so stay away. As this all occurs, Roderick will throw tires behind him instead of wrenches. These tires are larger than the ones on his car. Just like the wrenches, you will have to hit his engine with them. However, since his car is raised, you may need to tilt back at an angle. After three hits, his car will go back to the ground, and you can punch his engine like in the first stage. Also, he might occasionally back up, end up behind you, lower his car, and try to run through you. If he does go behind you, stay toward the right and watch carefully to know when to jump. When there is only a little bit of health left, you will have to punch his car one more time to enter the last stage.
The last stage is so short and easy, that you might be able to do it blind-folded, (but I wouldn't recommend it). Roderick's car will crash into about a dozen pieces. To avoid getting hurt, carefully and slowly go through the wave of pieces constantly punching. You will soon reach Roderick himself, who is running at a fast speed while holding a steering wheel. Simply punch him once to send him flying through the desert and defeat him. From there, you can grab the emblem with that feeling of accomplishment.
Chortlebot Challenge
- Difficulty: Medium
- Area Map: 3
I hope you aren't afraid of clowns... Anyways, there are four bars, two on each side of the stage, with the lower one being longer. You will have to jump to grab the lower bar, shake the Wii-remote to spin around, and press 2 to jump high up and grab the higher bar, then from there, jump again and use the control pad to land on the hat on top of Chortlebot's head, which is constantly floating left and right. Land on his hat a certain amount of times (the amount differs from each stage), to have the top of his hat turn green and have him fall to the ground for about three seconds. During that time, you need to land on his head again to take some health away. If you hit him twice within the three seconds, he will automatically recover even if the three seconds haven't passed. If you didn't hit him at all, it will only take one hit to make him fall to the ground again. Also, each time he recovers, he will have eight different colored beach balls around him that will grow spikes, and the ones on the sides, top, and bottom will fly out first, followed by the ones in between. Phew, that's a lot of information! Now onto the stages.
In the first stage, it takes three hits to make Chortlebot fall to the ground. As you try to hit his head, he will use his spiky nose as a yo-yo, and try to hit you twice every few seconds. Once you damage him twice, it's time for the next stage.
In the second stage, it takes four hits to make him fall to the ground. His nose will split in halves, which will slowly rotate just outside his head for five seconds, then quickly spin for five seconds. You chance to hit his head is while it slowly rotates. About every twenty seconds, he will either switch to using his nose as a yo-yo, or a new attack where he will move to the center of the stage and have nine fire lines appear below him. One random line will move left, one right, one left, one right, and so on. A good time to attack him is actually during this attack. When the boss has been damaged another two times, you will begin the third and final stage.
In the third stage, it takes five hits to make Chortlebot fall to the ground. His nose will split in half again, but this time, they will reach the sides of the stage with strings that are lit on fire. They will rotate a full circle, so you will have to go around the boss along with them. After one full rotation, he will move to the center of the stage and use the fire bar attack from the previous stage, except they will all go at roughly the same direction with some going to the left, and some going to the right. He might also have his nose rotate while doing this, but not as far. Whether his nose rotates or not, you can easily dodge the attack by ducking on the ground using down on the control pad. Also, if his nose doesn't rotate during the attack, he will use his nose as a yo-yo twice. The third stage process repeats after this. Once you take away the last three bits of health, (maybe two bits of health depending on how many bits you took away in the previous stage), watch Chortlebot explode into thin-air, representing your win for this boss fight. Collect the emblem as your reward.
Bloomsday Blowout
- Difficulty: Hard
- Area Map: 4
If you watched the opening cutscene, you probably noticed a great tip for this boss, and that is ducking whenever he (or she?) is using his (her?) petals to blow a big wind against you. You can also do this when he sucks you in. Either way, you will stay in your spot while ducking. But be careful, as enemies move along with the wind, Bumbleprods and Scorpions might hurt you, and Bandineros and stunned Scorpions can push you back. Anyways, why is this tip useful? Well for one reason, there is a flower on the far left that will try to capture you and do some damage. If it does capture you, shake the Wii-remote to escape. Another reason the ducking tip is useful is because in the later stages, spiked plants of some sort will be around, and Bloomsday will try to pull you into, or blow you against one. Also, he might also jump and hit the ground, which can flip you over. Simply jump yourself as he hits the ground to avoid this. Another tip I would like to share is that whenever Bloomsday spits out an enemy or two, use your earthshake punch to stun them. This will get them stunned so you won't have to worry about them as much. Also, this will make Bandineros and the Scorpions usable for attacking. How do you attack Bloomsday? Pick up a stunned Bandinero or Scorpion and throw it at his head when he's not attacking (use 1 and tilt the Wii-remote). This will cause him to tilt back and struggle for about two seconds. During this time, use your dash-attack against him to push him back. You can only dash-attack him twice at the most before he recovers, so you will need to throw many enemies at Bloomsday throughout the battle. You can also shake Bandineros and Scorpions to get garlic for health. After that heap of information, let's talk about the stages.
Bloomsday will start out by spitting two Bandineros, and blowing them away after a few seconds. He will then spit out a Bumbleprod. You can't attack Bloomsday with it, but you might want to use your earthshake punch and ground-pound it to get it out of the way. He will then blow another big wind, and spit out a Scorpion. If you stun it with an earthshake punch, you CAN pick it up and attack with it. Bloomsday will blow two more big winds and the process repeats. Whenever you throw an enemy at him and attack him, he will do a special attack afterwards where a line of spiked plants grow and un-grow like they are doing the wave. The easiest way to avoid this is by standing in one spot, jump right when the plant below you starts to grow, and hold right on the control pad. After you have taken away six bits of health, the second stage will begin.
In the second stage, Bloomsday will jump to flip you over and grow a red spiked plant in front of himself. You can't attack him while the red plant is there, but it will disappear soon. He will spit out two Scorpions, which, after a few seconds, will be slowly sucked into the red plant. Duck to avoid getting sucked in yourself. Bloomsday will jump again to get rid of the red plant. After this, he will spit out a Bandinero. Stun it, pick it up, avoid the plant wave that Bloomsday will start, and then attack him with the Bandinero. Once you have taken away another four bits of health, the final stage will begin.
In the third stage, Bloomsday will jump to grow a blue spiked plant in front of himself, and one towards the left. He will then spit an armored Bandinero that shoots spike balls. Use your earthshake punch to stun it. Pick it up and shake it to get a regular Bandinero. Bloomsday will soon spit two already-stunned Bumbleprods. While holding the Bandinero, quickly ground-pound them. Here comes the rough part: while holding the Bandinero, walk to the left as Bloomsday sucks you in, and walk to the right as he blows out. He will jump to clear the blue plants, which is your chance to attack him. The process repeats from there. Remove the rest of Bloomsday's health to watch him fall into the water and earn that precious emblem.
Large Fry Cook-Off
- Difficulty: Very Hard
- Area Map: 5
Throughout the battle, Large Fry will float above left to right with his mouth open. One frustrating thing about this boss is that attacks from the boss himself deal one full heart of damage, so be careful. Large Fry will also get larger as he takes damage, and enemies will probably end up everywhere, giving you very little room to have peace and quiet. For this reason, you might want to keep the kitchen clean by defeating most of the enemies. The enemies come from bags that fall down to the ground when Large Fry uses an attack where his outline turns blue and he slams the ground. This attack deals one full heart of health so watch out! It also destroys enemies beneath him, and causes other bags to open up. These bags can also be opened up by shaking them or using the earthshake punch. You can destroy the bags and the enemies inside simply by using your dash-attack. Since two bags fall at a time, you might want to destroy one of them. To attack Large Fry, you need to throw enemies into his mouth to have him spit out a bomb that counts down from nine. When he spits the bomb, pick it up and shake it to stop the timer, and then throw the bomb into his mouth. He will lose some health and fall to the ground, giving you about three seconds to take more damage away by dash-attacking him as much as you can. You can only throw things into his mouth when it is open, and this is while he is not attacking. Hopping Bandineros, mini-pirates, mining enemies, and usually Bandineros come out of the bags in pairs. Zombies, spike ball shooters, and sometimes Bandineros come out as individuals. The zombies are the most annoying creatures, since you can't attack with them, and they throw their head every few seconds. The best way to kill zombies is by dash-attacking them while they don't have their head on. One more tip: you can shake enemies to reveal pieces of garlic which give you some health. After all this information, it's time to talk about the stages.
The first stage is simple. Large Fry will use his ground-pound attack every few seconds to reveal bags of Bandineros and hopping Bandineros. One enemy in Large Fry's mouth is all it takes for a bomb to appear. One bomb in Large Fry's mouth is all it takes to get to the next stage.
The second stage has many differences from stage one. All enemies are possible to appear. From now on, it will take two enemies for Large Fry to spit out one bomb. In between ground-pounds, he will use a new attack where he moves to one side of the stage and spits two sets of rocket carrots that will try to hit you for a few seconds and then go straight, but right now, each set has only one carrot. The best way to avoid this is by being on one side of the stage, and then walk to the other side of the stage with some jumping. Another bomb will get you to stage three.
In stage three, the rocket carrot attack now has two carrots per set. Whenever Large Fry ground-pounds, he will ground-pound a second time right afterwards. He will also use a new attack where his outline will turn green and he will fly across the stage, dealing one full heart of health! Simply duck to avoid this attack. It will take two bombs, (maybe one if you dash-attacked him a lot earlier), to reach the last stage.
In the fourth and final stage, the rocket carrot attack will have three carrots per set. The attack where Large Fry flies across the screen will be done twice in a row like the ground-pound attack, so stay down on the ground. It will only take one more bomb to watch Large Fry deflate all over the screen and make that emblem available.
VS the Shake King
- Difficulty: Hardest boss in the game!
- Area Map: N/A (His stage is on a separate map that's unlocked after all boss emblems are collected)
This is it! The final boss of the game! This boss is the only obstacle left before the end of the game, but it is not an easy obstacle at all, so first of all, good luck! Make sure you have all ten heart vessels, and maybe a recovery potion or two. Just about every single one of the Shake King's attacks deal one full heart of damage, which is probably the most annoying thing about this boss. Another annoying thing about this boss is that when you "almost defeat the boss", he will refill his health for the final stage, so it's like you have to fight the boss twice. Thankfully, when it comes to attacking the boss, there is more than one way to do so. The most common way is that when the Shake King runs across the stage, jump on him, (or ground-pound him for a little extra damage), to make him run into the wall. From there, you will have a certain amount of seconds, (the amount of seconds depends on the stage), to dash-attack him five times, taking a bit of damage each time. If you dash-attack him five times, he will lay stunned on the ground for a certain amount of time (which also depends on the stage). As he is stunned, you can pick him up and throw him at the wall or ceiling for a large amount of damage. You can also shake him up for some coins, but I wouldn't worry about them right now if I were you. There is also another way to attack him that you might not know about. Whenever his outline turns blue, meaning that he will slam the ground to flip you over, you can use your earthshake punch right before or right after he slams the ground to flip HIM over and leave him stunned for a little while. Be careful though, if you get flipped over, you might want to play with the control pad and buttons 1 and 2 a little bit to get yourself back up and run away, because if you don't, he will charge at you, pick you up, and shake you up, causing you to lose two full hearts of health and a majority of the coins you collected from the fight, and then throw you at the wall. If you are caught at the side of the stage, he might pick you up and shake you, maybe with a charge. If he doesn't charge however, you will only lose one heart. If you are caught at the side of the stage, try to jump over him. This seems to only happen in stage one, but I have been shaken by him without a ground-slam in other stages, so be careful. Also, you can't die from being shaken. Your health will go down, but if it's at half a heart, shaking will not take it away from you. You have all this information in your brain, right? Well, if you don't, just try to remember the basics.
For the first stage, whenever you jump on the Shake King while he runs, and whenever he is stunned, he will stay that way for about ten seconds. Whenever he runs across, it will only take one jump to make him run into the wall, and he will only run across once. For the start of the battle, the Shake King will keep running back and forth until you give him even the slightest amount of damage. Even if you just jump on him and let him come out of the wall, he will keep running. Ground-pounding is enough to make him stop running, though. After you damage him, he will pound the ground twice, sending two sets of five bouncing fireballs. Simply run under one set, move back, and run under the next set. You can also use your earthshake punch to stop him from continuing the attack. After this, he will slam the ground to try and to flip you over. As mentioned awhile earlier, you can try stunning him during this time. He will then create a large Bandinero by putting a bunch of them together, and he will throw it at you and have it slightly bounce. You can jump on it to destroy it, or use your earthshake punch to cancel the attack. This is the only attack in the boss fight that does only a half of a heart of damage. From there, the process repeats, except he will continue the cycle even if you don't damage him when he runs across. One third of his health taken away is all it takes for him to jump up and try to land on you (just move to avoid getting hurt). He will break the floor, beginning the next stage in a new room.
In the second stage, when the Shake King is stuck in the wall or stunned, he will stay that way for about four seconds. Whenever he runs across, he will do so three times, and you will have to land on him twice to make him run into the wall. The stage will start off with the Shake King creating a large Bumbleprod, but unlike the Bandinero, it takes a full heart away, and you can't jump on it. It doesn't bounce though, so you can easily jump over it. You can also cancel the attack with an earthshake punch. After this, he will run across the stage, which is your chance to attack him. He will then introduce a new attack in which he will jump and ground-pound a few times across the stage, sending energy waves that hurt you along the ground in both directions. After that, he will slam the ground to try and to flip you over, and the process for stage two repeats. When the Shake King has only a little bit of health left, he will jump and slam the ground like the end of the previous stage. You will enter the room where the bottomless bag of coins and the princess is, and the Shake King will refill his health and take you to a bunch of dark clouds, beginning the third and final stage.
In the third stage, the amount of time that Shake King is stuck on the side of the screen and stunned is the same as stage two, but for dashing across, he will do so three times, and you need to jump on him every time to get him stuck on the side of the screen. To start off, the Shake King will be floating back and forth on the top of the screen (which is what he will do a lot during this stage). He will create energy balls that will shoot lightning straight down and disappear. He will move across creating energy balls twice, and then float once across without creating energy balls, and then the next time, he will stop right above you, and try to land on you (move away!). He will also send waves of energy when he lands on the ground like in the previous stage. He will then run across the screen, you know what to do! After that, he will jump into the air on the side of the screen, and he will have energy balls rotate around him and a beam go straight down from himself, and he will move to the other side of the screen. The beam however, won't reach the side of the screen, so make sure you are there. He will turn off the beam for about one second, and then he will shoot out a bigger beam from the same spot. It WILL reach the side of the screen, so while he turns the beam off, run across to the other side of the screen. The beam will become normal size again, and he will do the same thing, only going to the other side. Run underneath when he turns the beam off, and he will do the same thing again. But when he reaches the middle of the stage, he will turn the beam off for a second. He will then use the large beam, and the energy balls around him will multiply and shoot out. The best way to avoid this is by standing away from the middle, but not too far away, and then ducking to avoid the energy balls. After this, he will punch the ground twice to send two sets of fireballs like the first stage. After this, he will jump in the air again and send out three energy balls that will float around. He will then try to ground-pound you and send energy waves, and then he will slam the ground in attempt to flip you over. After this, the stage process repeats, (the three energy balls usually disappear by the time he is done running across the stage). Once you have taken away all of his health, watch him die in slow motion and disappear. Congratulations! You just beat the game! You can now fight the bosses again and try their missions!
Boss Missions
Once you beat the Shake King for the first time, you will not only be able to fight the bosses again, but you will also be able to do missions for the bosses, just like regular levels! Also, the emblems are replaced with 10,000 coin jewels and you are also timed, (however, you don't die when you run out of time). I won't write brand new guides for each mission, but I will share tips for each mission. Each boss has three missions, and two out of three of these missions for each boss are defeating them without taking any damage and defeating them before time runs out. The third mission varies depending on the boss. Please note that I highly recommend you do one mission at a time. If you complete all three missions, you will be able to listen to the boss's background music in the media room. Onto the missions!
Beat the stage without taking damage
- Remember, you can't take damage in the first stage, so no pressure.
- Don't stand under any rockets, even blue ones, during the second stage.
- Just because you aren't standing directly underneath a rocket doesn't mean you are safe.
- Jump on the platforms carefully and quickly on the last stage.
- It might be a good idea to let the robot flip you over during the last stage. This will keep him from trying again which can increase chances of his spikes hurting you.
- For the last stage, after attacking him once, try to overcome the force-field with jumping to stay on the robot (or a platform) so you can attack him again right away. With this, you won't have to go through another hard attack phase.
Beat the enemy before time runs out (1:50:00)
- For the first stage, attack when you have the chance, then run against him to overcome the force-field and jump while using your dash attack to attack him again right away.
- For the second stage, make sure you attack him whenever you get the chance.
- For the last stage, overcome the force field with some jumping. If you can manage to stay on top, you can attack him right away again to save a whole lot of time.
Don't get knocked over by the earthquakes
- Being flattened does NOT count as getting knocked over by an earthquake. This might help with the last stage a little bit.
- Practice avoiding the earthquakes. The speed it takes for the earthquake to occur is different each stage.
- Try to beat this boss quickly. The quicker you beat it, the fewer earthquakes that occur.
Beat the stage without taking damage
- It's better to miss a wrench/tire completely as opposed to getting hit by it while trying to hit it.
- During the first stage, when you have hit Roderick with a third wrench, be careful of the fourth wrench Roderick throws. It might land right behind his car which is exactly where you need to be to get more health out of him.
- During the last stage, CAREFULLY punch away all the parts of the car away. Since you are almost done with the battle, it would be a shame to lose.
Beat the enemy before time runs out (1:40:00)
- Punch every thrown wrench and tire accurately. You might be able to get away with missing a couple, but go for every single one just to be safe.
- Even if a fourth wrench is being thrown behind the car, just get behind the car anyway. You need to get as much health out as you can.
- During the second stage, be cautious of Roderick's car moving up and down.
- For the final stage, you might want to consider simply running through the parts of the car while constantly punching.
Knock back every tire
- Tires and wrenches are two different things. You may play the first stage in any manner you like. It's the second stage we're worried about since it has tires.
- Every tire does NOT need to hit Roderick's car. You just need to punch every tire to complete the mission.
- Although, the tires don't need to hit Roderick's car, you might want to be accurate so you can get to the next stage quicker, thus having to punch less tires.
Beat the stage without taking damage
- For the first stage, time your jumps carefully. You don't want to land on the clown's head when he's throwing his nose right above him.
- For the second stage, be very cautious. You might just want to jump on him once or twice in between the times his nose rotator spins faster than usual. Also be carefully when it spins normally.
- For the third stage, stay on the ground and duck until the nose rotator gets shorter.
Beat the enemy before time runs out (1:30:00)
- See the tip for the mission, "Damage Chortlebot twice in a row". This method should be used as much as possible. However, you don't have to do it with only one more hit until damage time. If you can jump back and forth on the clown's head to take away multiple hits quickly, you might be able to do it with more than one hit until damage time.
- If you attack Chortlebot twice in a row, he will immediately start attacking again. So the second time you attack him should be as quick as possible.
Damage Chortlebot twice in a row
- When there is only one more hit until the damage time takes place, jump on top of the clown's head, and hold the arrow on the control pad that points towards the side you jumped from to damage Chortlebot once, (for example, if you jumped from the right side, hold right). From there, you should have enough time to damage Chortlebot the second time.
Beat the stage without taking damage
- If any dangerous enemies are nearby, use your earthshake punch, (shake the Wii-mote), to stun them. While they are stunned, get rid of them, (unless you want to use them to throw at the boss).
- Duck when the boss blows wind unless you need to hold or avoid enemies.
- When the boss uses the attack where small plants "do the wave", jump when the plant below you grows and hold right on the control pad.
Beat the enemy before time runs out (2:30:00)
- At the start of the battle, two bandineros will come out. Throw one at the boss, attack the boss, pick up the other bandinero, and avoid the attack with a jump-right. Then throw the second bandinero at the boss and attack.
- The scorpion enemies are grabbable and throwable after an earthshake punch.
- Make sure you always attack the boss twice after throwing an enemy at it. If you do it only once, that pretty much costs you some time since you have to throw another enemy.
Defeat 5 Bumbleprods
- The final stage contains two bumbleprods already flipped over. This is most likely the best stage to complete this mission.
- If you want to defeat bumbleprods in the earlier stages, make sure you flip them over with an earthshake punch first.
Beat the stage without taking damage
- Make sure you are not under the boss when it has a blue outline.
- Make sure you duck when the boss has a green outline.
- For the first set of carrot rockets, start at one side of the stage, then at the right time, run to the other side and jump if you have to. For the second set, do the same thing starting with the side you just ran to.
- Watch out for painful enemies! The drilling enemies hurt you when in front of them while standing up, and hurt you when jumping on them while knocked over. Be cautious of other dangerous enemies as well.
- Keep the kitchen clean. If you have a dozen enemies scattered everywhere, chances are you will get hurt.
Beat the enemy before time runs out (2:30:00)
- Following the tips for "Feed Large Fry 2 bombs in a row" isn't such a bad idea since for the first stage it only takes one enemy to make a bomb. If you want to, you can do more than 2 bombs, but it is very difficult.
- Attack as many times as you can when the boss is on the ground after eating a bomb. You might need to use another bomb if you don't attack enough.
- Practice your throwing. If you throw inaccurately, you won't make a bomb quickly at all.
Feed Large Fry 2 bombs in a row
- The first stage is the best time to do it, because it only takes one enemy to create a bomb then.
- When the first bomb comes out, pick it up and shake it to stop the countdown. When the second bomb comes out, throw it into the boss's mouth, then after the boss goes back into the air, throw the bomb that isn't counting into his mouth.
Beat the stage without taking damage
- Play through a couple times to learn the boss's attacks.
- Whenever his outline turns red, meaning that he will create an enemy or have fireballs appear, use your earthshake punch to keep him from using the attack.
- In the third stage, watch those flying electric balls carefully!
- Use every chance you have to stun him and throw him at the wall. The quicker you beat the boss, the lesser chance of taking damage.
Beat the enemy before time runs out (3:30:00)
- Whenever his outline turns red, meaning that he will create an enemy, or have fireballs appear, use your earthshake punch to stop him from attacking. This will save a bit of time since he won't have to do the entire attack.
- If his outline turns blue, showing that he will punch and shake the ground, quickly use an earthshake punch to stun him (you can do this right before or right after he hits the ground). When he is stunned, you can pick him up and throw him at the wall.
- No time to collect coins! Just pick him up and throw him at the wall.
- When he runs left to right, make sure you jump on top of him every time.
Complete the level with at least 60,000 coins
- To collect coins from the Shake King, pick him up when he is stunned (you can stun him in various ways pointed out in my actual guide), and shake the Wii-remote to have a bunch of coins fly out.
- In the first stage, you can get up to about 20,000 coins. In the second stage, you can get up to about 40,000 coins, and in the final stage, you can get another 20,000. This means if you enter the final stage with under 40,000 coins, you might as well restart.
- Don't let the boss pick you up and shake you. If he does this, your coins will fly out of yourself!
- When the coins come out, collect them as quickly as possible. Not only will they disappear, but the Shake King can re-collect them!
Closing
Congratulations on mastering those bosses! I hope you enjoyed fighting against them, and that my guide helped you with them when you were stuck!
