Arc Rise Fantasia
Question from FeRrY36
Asked: 2 years agoIs this similar to any of the Final Fantasy Games, or is it like Kingdom Hearts where you control where you character moves and contorl when/who/what your character attacks?
It's magic system is close to Suikoden. Also you plan a "rounds" worth of actions for your whole party which then get executed in Speed order; like Suikoden and many pre-Active Time RPGs. The unique twist is you have Action Points per round instead of 1 turn per character- which adds up to multiple "turns" worth per round, can give all the "turns" to a single character, and have many rewarding combinations of turn/actions. There's a guide to what order turns get executed in like tactics games or Mana Khemia.
You will never be rushed in battle and planning out each round carefully is highly rewarded, and part of the charm/challenge of boss fights.

statusIt`s a traditional RPG.
Not an action RPG like Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean, etc...
The battle systhem reminds me of the Grandia series, if it`s of any help.
