  Introduction [INT]
 -----------------------

Hello! My name is ac_helper; I will help guide you through getting
all 155 titles in Endless Ocean: Blue World. "That's a LOT of titles,
helper!" Yes, it IS a lot. Some titles are easy to get, though;
simply progressing through the main plot will nab you several
of them. However, there are others that require more work.
A LOT more work.

I will list a description of the title icon; the name of the title,
what the game says about how you get it, and tips on how to get it.
Note: you will NOT see the in-game requirement until AFTER you
finish the main plot.

There are seven titles per row, making 22 full rows, and one
more title in the final (23rd) row. I will list each title by row.

If you see a reference to a "Chapter", it means a chapter in
the main plot.

This guide references mainly the North American verson of the
game, but I have some EU info added here as well.

---------------------------------------

There are several guides for more in-depth help on certain parts of
the game, and I think these will help you with the titles related to
those parts:

---------------------------------------

So here we go! On to title glory!

=================================================

 -------------------------------
  Left Side of Screen [LSS]
 -------------------------------

This is an explanation of the Title Screen's left side.

You will notice a gauge, and to the left of that a bunch of presents.
At first the gauge will be empty, but as you get more titles you will
notice it filling up with yellow. As you get to a certain milestone,
you will receive a present. The presents come at 30, 60, 90, 120,
and 150 (at every 30 titles). You don't get anything for acquiring
all 155 titles (except a sense of completion and a full gauge).

At 30 titles: Cutting Edge (wetsuit)
At 60 titles: Poseidon (wetsuit)
At 90 titles: Poseidon's Lung (tank)
At 120 titles: Poseidon's Fins (fins)
At 150 titles: Poseidon BCD (BCD)

Each time you get to a milestone to get a present, when you open
the Titles screen you get a box with a present in it that unwraps to
show what you got. Then the item replaces the unopened present icon
for that milestone.

There seems to be no difference between all the BCD's, tanks, fins,
etc, and how they work or if they help you with more air or swim
faster. Even the Poseidon set that getting titles gives you may
not have any effects other than to look nice.

 ------------------
  Row 1 [RW1]
 ------------------

1. Novice Diver (scroll with a "B")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
No requirement

 Tips for acquiring:
You will get this as soon as you start the game.

***************************************

2. South-Sea Drifter (scroll with a big "1" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed Chapter 1

 Tips for acquiring:
Just get to the end of Chapter 1.

***************************************

3. Mediterranean Adventurer (scroll with a big "2" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed Chapter 2

 Tips for acquiring:
Just get to the end of Chapter 2.

***************************************

4. Frozen-Sea Explorer (scroll with a big "3" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed Chapter 3

 Tips for acquiring:
Just get to the end of Chapter 3.

***************************************

5. Unexplored River-Trekker (scroll with a big "4" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed Chapter 4

 Tips for acquiring:
Just get to the end of Chapter 4.

***************************************

6. Deep-Sea Wanderer (scroll with a big "5" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed Chapter 5

 Tips for acquiring:
Just get to the end of Chapter 5.

***************************************

7. Sunken-Ruin Pioneer (scroll with a big "6" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed Chapter 6, part 1

 Tips for acquiring:
Just get to the end of Chapter 6, part 1.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 ------------------
  Row 2 [RW2]
 ------------------

1. Endless Oceanographer (scroll with a big "E" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed Chapter 6, part 2

 Tips for acquiring:
Just get to the end of main plot.

***************************************

2. Mystery Solver (scroll with a big "EX" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Re-opened the Cavern of the Gods

 Tips for acquiring:
You need a million Pelagos for this, although Jean-Eric tells you
after you get to that amount that you can get a "discount" and only
need 500,000P to re-open it.

For money-making, try getting all the Treasure Rumor treasures
you can, then continuously salvage in Valka Castle. Doing
the various requests (salvaging, diving, and photo) as you
salvage can help rack up the Ps. You can't combine salvage and
diving requests, though. Fulfilling as many parts of the quests
as possible also help.

At this point, IT IS NOT WISE to buy things you do not need, like
Private Reef items, or even the extra fins, gloves, or wetsuits.
You can buy those things later, after re-opening the cavern; you'll
still have 500,000P to blow on everything else Nancy has then.

As for the equipment upgrades available during the plot, you will
likely need them all except for the underwater pen (unless you
really use it a lot); the upgrades get progressively more expensive,
so pick and choose what to buy and when.
The Island items: your choice, although I would advise getting the
telescope at least. The telescope triggers a couple of quests,
and you can keep track of the moon phases for help with another
quest. The rest of the items are for time advancement speed up, or
slow down, or just for fun.

***************************************

3. Fearless-Thrill Seeker (a scroll with a "1+" in the middle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Calmed a tiger shark

 Tips for acquiring:
This one is easy. You'll get it in the course of doing Chapter 1.

***************************************

4. Triage Trainee (the pulsar & a "10" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Pulsed 10 creatures

 Tips for acquiring:
Easy-peasy. Just go to the Gatama Atoll gate and fire away!

***************************************

5. Veteran Veterinarian (the pulsar & a "100" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Pulsed 100 creatures

 Tips for acquiring:
A little harder than pulsing 10 creatures, but not much. Just
find a place with TONS of fish to focus on, and fire away!

***************************************

6. Sturgeon Surgeon (the pulsar & a "1,000" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Pulsed 1,000 creatures

 Tips for acquiring:
Not as hard as it seems. Pulse all the fish you can at the Private
Reef, find areas with tons of fish and let 'er rip, and eventually
you'll get this title. Places with lots of fish: Doughnut Reef and
the Gate in Gatama Atoll for fast easy pulsing.

After you get all the possible upgrades for the pulsar, go
to Cortica, Midstream and play pulsar tag with the piranhas!
That should ensure you get this title in little time.

***************************************

7. Treasure Seeker (a treasure chest and "20%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 20% of salvage items

 Tips for acquiring:
There are 200 different salvage items to find; this means to get
this title you only need to find 40 different items. Salvaging in
the areas you've opened will easily get you this title.

Feel free to use my Salvage Guide for more in-depth help for the
salvaging titles (this one, and all of row 3, and the 1st in row 4).

-----------------------------------------------------------

 ------------------
  Row 3 [RW3]
 ------------------

1. Antique Collector (a treasure chest & "40%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 40% of salvage items

 Tips for acquiring:
You need 80 items for this. Just more salvaging will help.

***************************************

2. Practiced Pack Rat (a treasure chest & "60%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 60% of salvage items

 Tips for acquiring:
You need to find 120 different items for this one.
More & more salvaging in areas you've opened.

***************************************

3. Wheeling Dealer (a treasure chest & "80%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 80% of salvage items

 Tips for acquiring:
You need 160 different items for this one.
Just salvage. And salvage and salvage.

***************************************

4. Ocean Curator (a treasure chest & "100%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 100% of salvage items

 Tips for acquiring:
Finding all the Treasure Rumor treasures and tons of salvaging
get you this title.
Note: Use my Salvage Guide to do "targeted salvaging". List which
items you still need for this title, and their properties (what the
multisensor picks up when sensing them), and choose an area with
quite a few of those items. Then dive and salvage ONLY those items
with the right properties. Fill up your bag from multiple dives,
then return and get Nancy to appraise them. Rinse and repeat
until you have all 200 items.

***************************************

5. Eagle-Eyed Searcher (treasure chest & small "S" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found all small salvage items

 Tips for acquiring:
The small salvage item categories are:

Small Sphere
Small Stone
Small Bottle
Small Book
Small Ring

Once you get every normal item in these categories, you get this.
Just salvage in Gatama Atoll/Deep Hole, they have lots of small items.

***************************************

6. Aquatic Prospector (treasure chest & small "M" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found all medium salvage items

 Tips for acquiring:
The medium salvage item categories are:

Small Jar
Doll
Painting
Small Box
Ingot

Once you get every item in these categories, you get this title.
(NOTE: although the word "small" appears in the name of 2 categories,
they are NOT small items). You need at least the medium bag to
get these items. Just salvage lots in Ciceros Strait.

***************************************

7. Master Gumshoe (treasure chest & small "L" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found all large salvage items

 Tips for acquiring:
The large salvage item categories are:

Large Barrel
Large Crate
Large Container
Large Sculpture
Mysterious Chest

You need the large bag to get these items. Salvage in Valka Castle,
and certain areas in Ciceros Strait, as well as outside the Cavern
of the Gods, and inside the CotG (once re-opened), for large items.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 ------------------
  Row 4 [RW4]
 ------------------

1. Cargo Conqueror (a treasure chest & "1,000" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Salvaged 1,000 times

 Tips for acquiring:
EACH item you pick up counts toward this title, whether you
keep or discard it. You do NOT need to return to the boat or
even ask Nancy to appraise anything to have a salvaged item count.
If you are done with your Salvage Book and still do not have
enough for the title, dive somewhere with a lot of items in a small
space, and pick them up then discard them. Return to boat,
re-dive, repeat process until you are tired of it, then go back to
Nineball Island and look at your records to see how many times
it's up to; repeat until done.
You can also simply keep salvaging (and keep everything) for
this title if you are also going for the 2 million Pelagos title.

***************************************

2. Midnight Asteroid (3 stars, coin & "10%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 10% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
There are 100 coins, so you only need 10 of them to get this title.
You can use jimi_dini's Coin FAQ guide for the coin locations,
it's a great help. There are 15 coins in Gatama Atoll alone,
so you should have no problem reaching this in the first part
of the game.
You will NOT see this title until after GG joins you.

(I will keep a running count at each title's bottom for all possible
coins found so far. This one: 15)

***************************************

3. Twilight Comet (3 stars, coin & "20%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 20% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
You need 20 coins for this title; just keep looking under glows!
Gatama Atoll + Deep Hole has exactly 20 coins (15 for Gatama,
5 for Deep Hole), so this should not be a problem.
You will NOT see this title until after GG joins you.

(Running count: 20)

***************************************

4. Dim Planetoid (3 stars, coin & "30%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 30% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
You need 30 coins for this. Keep on finding them!
Ciceros Strait alone has 16 coins, so you should be
well on your way to this title early.
You will NOT see this title until after GG joins you.

(Running count: 36)

***************************************

5. Dusky Planet (3 stars, coin & "40%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 40% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
You need 40 coins for this. Keep on keeping on!
Valka Castle has 9 more coins, so Ciceros + Valka=
this title.
You will NOT see this title until after GG joins you.

(Running count: 45)

***************************************

6. Glowing Red Giant (3 stars, coin, & "50%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 50% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
You need 50 coins for this. Halfway there!
The Weddell Sea + the Iceberg Cavern have 7 coins
combined, and that should be more than enough for this title.
You will NOT see this title until after GG joins you.

(Running count: 52)

***************************************

7. Glimmering White Dwarf (3 stars, coin & "60%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 60% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
60 needed for this one. Keep on finding those glows!
Cortica Midstream alone should equal enough for this.
GG should have joined you by this time, so you should
get this and the ones before it when you talk to him.

(Running count: 61, OR 60 if you cannot get to the one
in Queen's Lake yet. Still enough to get the title.)

-----------------------------------------------------------

 ------------------
  Row 5 [RW5]
 ------------------

1. Shining Star (3 stars, coin & "70%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 70% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
70 coins needed for this one. Just keep on searching!
Cortica Upstream will not be enough, as there are only 9 coins
there, so you need to go to the Zahhab Region Depths, where there
are 9. That's if you still can't get to the coin in Queen's Lake.
With that one, you would have enough for this title.

(Running count:
Assuming you got the last one in Queen's Lake in Cortica Midstream-70
-or 79, if you get all the Depths coins anyway.
Assuming you did not get it, and need the Zahhab Depths coins-78.)

***************************************

2. Beaming Nebula (3 stars, coin & "80%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 80% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
80 coins are needed for this title. You're close! Keep going!
Either way, you need the Zahhab Depths coins for this title, as well
as the Zahhab Region coins, of which there are 14.

(Running count: assuming you HAVE the last Cortica Midstream
coin by this time, and the Depths coins-93.)

***************************************

3. Luminous Galaxy (3 stars, coin & "90%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 90% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
You need 90 coins for this one. You CAN get here without
re-opening the Cavern of the Gods.

(Running count: If you got all the coins during the last part of
the main plot, you should have-100. If not, the count is from
93-99. And YES, if you are close to the coin glows, you CAN
click on them and pick the coins up without Oceana's aid.)

***************************************

4. Brilliant Universe (3 stars, coin & "100%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found 100% of coins

 Tips for acquiring:
You can over 90 without much difficulty; however, to get
them all, you may need to re-open the CotG.
There are 7 coins in the Cavern of the Gods.

NOTE: You CAN get all 7 of the coins in the CotG BEFORE the
end of the main plot! The glows they are under DO show up, even
when Oceana is not with you; although you practically have to be
right on top of them to see them. If you didn't get them before
the CotG closes, you WILL have to re-open it to get them.

***************************************

5. Biology Frosh (book with "20%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed 20% of Marine Encyclopedia

 Tips for acquiring:
Focus on every fish you can; take Oceana with you to look
for glows and the creatures under them.
After you finish the main plot, click on the silhouette of an
unfound creature, and flip through the maps, and the area(s)
it's found in are highlighted in brown on the area map
where it's found.
You will likely get this one AFTER you get the 40% title,
so don't worry about it. You will get this one too.
There are 352 different creatures to find, including the legendaries;
for this title, try having over 71 (which, interestingly enough,
is how many Hayako wants for part of the "Save the Aquarium" quest.)

Note: feel free to use my Creature Information Guide, linked
in the first part of this guide, for the Marine Encyclopedia titles.

***************************************

6. Oceanography Upperclassman (book with "40%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed 40% of Marine Encyclopedia

 Tips for acquiring:
Just keep focusing on fish/creatures and finding glows.
You may get this one BEFORE you get the 20% title;
don't worry about the order. If you have enough you will
eventually receive both.

There are 352 different creatures to find, including the legendaries;
for this title, try having over 141 (which, interestingly enough,
is how many Hayako wants for part of the "Save the Aquarium" quest.)

***************************************

7. Marine Biology Grad Student (book with "60%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed 60% of Marine Encyclopedia

 Tips for acquiring:
Just keep finding creatures.
There are 352 different creatures to find, including the
legendaries; for this title, try having from 211-212.

***************************************

 ------------------
  Row 6 [RW6]
 ------------------

1. Submarine Geology Professor (book with "80% below it")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed 80% of Marine Encyclopedia

 Tips for acquiring:
Keep plugging away, and you'll get here!
There are 352 different creatures to find, including the
legendaries; for this title, try having from 281-282.

***************************************

2. Earth Sciences Professor Emeritus (book with "100%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed 100% of Marine Encyclopedia

 Tips for acquiring:
The legendaries DO count for this one, so be sure to
complete the quests and special requests that lead to
them. A few fish are REALLY rare and hard to find,
just keep going back to the areas where they are
found until you find them.

***************************************

3. Nature Nurturer (coral and "30%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Collected 30% of Private Reef items

 Tips for acquiring:
Buy a few of them from Nancy when they become available;
do the Treasure Rumors that get you Reef items.
There are 80 items for the Private Reef, try having from 24-26.

***************************************

4. Environmental Activist (coral and "60%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Collected 60% of Private Reef items

There are 80 items for the Private Reef, try having from 48-52.

***************************************

5. Influential Specialist (coral and & "90%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Collected 90% of Private Reef items

 Tips for acquiring:
Just keep on buying from Nancy and getting Treasure Rumor treasures
that Nancy gives you Reef items for finding.
There are 80 items for the Private Reef, try having from 72-78.

***************************************

6. Underwater Gardener (coral & "100%" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Collected 100% of Private Reef items

 Tips for acquiring:
There are 80 items for the Private Reef, so you need all of them.
Since there is another title for having all the Nineball Island items,
although those are under the coral tab as well, they do not count
towards this title.
After you re-open the Cavern of the Gods, go on a spending spree and
buy the rest of the Private Reef items that you may not have bought
earlier. Also finish finding the Treasure Rumor treasures that give
you Reef items. The last item, the House, is given to you by Nancy
after your dophin catches a "Fresh Fish" during a training session.

The 80 items are as follows (different letters of
items count as separate items):

***************************************

7. Fish Liberator (coral with 2 fish)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Released 5,000 fish from the Private Reef

 Tips for acquiring:

The first time you get a Private Reef item (either buy it from
Nancy or get it from a Treasure Rumor treasure), Jean-Eric
will want to speak with you. After you sit down at the small
table with him, he notes you have a Private Reef item, and
the next time you go out to Gatama Atoll, he will show you
where the Reef is and what you can do there.
The next time you go to Gatama Atoll, you will notice a new
diving spot in G-5. While still on the boat, Jean-Eric will give
you 2 more Private Reef items. Then you can dive and swim
into the Private Reef to get a tutorial on how it works.

This title can be tricky. Learn which fish like what item; place
large items near the edge of the coral part, medium-sized items
in the middle and fill the small spaces with the small items.
Put what you like in the sandy area around the coral perimeter.

You can release fish ONLY if there are 200 or more fish in there
at one time. Feeding didn't seem to help much, but pulsaring did.

Each mixture of items will give you a set amount of fish.
For example, I arranged certain items, and went back the next day
for the next 5 days. Each day, I got:
Day 1-65 fish; day 2-124 fish; day 3-189 fish; day 4-252 fish;
day 5-311 fish.

No matter what I did, feed or pulsar, no more than 311 fish
at one time would be in the Reef with that particular mix.
So I would release the fish after getting to the max.
Since 500 is the highest number on the gauge, it seems reasonable
to assume there IS a mix of items that will get you to 500 fish.

Experiment with different item mixes to see what gets you a high
max amount of fish. Release the fish ONLY when at the max for that
mix.

Each day visit the Reef and pulsar the fish (feed if you want).
Release the fish after you get to the max amount for that mix.
Try another mix of items if you like, and keep track of how many
fish are the max for that mix.

There is an archived topic where Gamefaqs/Gamespot user
"tlr0101" has found which items attract what fish. You can find
the topic here:

gamefaqs.com/boards/954373-endless-ocean-blue-world/55412127

tlr0101 has now put up a Private Reef Guide, feel free to use that
for this title; the link is in the introduction to this Guide.

You WILL eventually get the title; just keep plugging away at it.

Collected all Nineball Island items

 Tips for acquiring:
Almost all of these items can be bought from Nancy. When they become
become available, you can choose to buy them, or wait until after

everything then. Either way, this one is quite easy to get.
Note: The jukebox is only available after the main plot is over,

to count. There are 3 colors: Fair, Black, and Brown.
(Sorry redheads, no red hair in this game!)
Once you do the last hairstyle, you get the title.

You CAN get this title easily by going through the hairstyles one
after the other once you call Nancy, if you have them all and
have enough money. Each time you get your hair cut, it costs 1,000P.

The list is in the same order as the game.

  Row 8 [RW8]
 ------------------

1. Coral Duck (grid with a "GA")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of Gatama Atoll

 Tips for acquiring:
A fast way to uncover all the squares of a map is to hitch a ride
with a dolphin partner. You can then open the map and watch you
fill in the squares as you ride.

You do not really need Oceana to help uncover the squares
you can't swim through; if you get close to the edges of where you
CAN swim, when you come up after the dive they should uncover.
All you need Oceana for is to add to her list of areas she can give
you a tour of (she needs to see the "landmarks" in an area. These
are the named places in an area).

For ALL map uncovering: make SURE you get every square!
There may be some that are covered by an area circle, or even
by the boat (when you're in the water), and it may be hard to see
if the square has been uncovered. If you're not sure, swim through
it again to make sure it gets uncovered.

***************************************

2. Blue Ibis (grid with a "DH")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of Deep Hole

 Tips for acquiring:
This one is easy, as it is smaller; but make sure you do it in
the daytime, unless you need practice with the pulsar (the tiger
shark seems to be really unfriendly!)

***************************************

3. Spiral Stork (grid with a "CS")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of Ciceros Strait

 Tips for acquiring:
A dolphin partner will help a LOT in the areas with the great white
sharks (and Thanatos). They can easily be outrun with your dolphin.
There may be one or two squares near the East Ciceros Undine that
cannot be gotten to until it's night. Dive at night, then easily
uncover them.

***************************************

4. Castle Gull (grid with a "VC")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of Valka Castle

 Tips for acquiring:
This can be easy; you can actually uncover everything the very
first time you go down there in the main plot, if you are careful.
Yes, since Oceana is with you, she WILL be able to open the door
to the Treasure Vault at that time.
NOTE: to open the Treasure Vault door, swim over to the door,
and focus on the sparkly area, and get a message about the hole
in the door. Then choose to talk to Oceana, and ask her to swim
through the hole. In a cutscene, she will, then will open the door.

***************************************

5. Northern Swan (grid with a "NC")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of the North Coast of Canada

 Tips for acquiring:
This one's easy. Can you say "dolphin ride"?

***************************************

6. Antarctic Albatross (grid with a "WS")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of the Weddell Sea

 Tips for acquiring:
This one may be a little tricky. You will need to swim down below
the iceberg bottoms, near the ends of the map to get those to
uncover. Snaking through the large icebergs in the map's middle
will help you find those elusive ice caves, though!

***************************************

7. Ice Pelican (grid with an "IC")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of the Iceberg Cavern

 Tips for acquiring:
This should be one of the easiest of all the small maps, but
may not be. You can't fully get into a couple of the corners.
Just get as close to the edges of the Cavern as you can,
and the whole map will uncover.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 ------------------
  Row 9 [RW9]
 ------------------

1. River Flamingo (grid with a "CM")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of the Cortica Midstream

 Tips for acquiring:
You won't be able to finish this until you get to near the end of
the "Be the Best Trainer" quest, where you can befriend the Amazon
river dolphin. You need that dolphin to help you move the tree
blocking the way to Queen's Lake. No other dolphin will work.

***************************************

2. Temple Falcon (grid with a "CU")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of the Cortica Upstream

 Tips for acquiring:
This one's easy. Just remember to poke your nose
through the whole temple, AND the outside near it.

***************************************

3. Sea Hawk (grid with a "ZR")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of the Zahhab Region

 Tips for acquiring:
Again, use a dolphin, especially for the open sea area.

***************************************

4. Abyss Goose (grid with a "ZD")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of the Zahhab Region Depths

 Tips for acquiring:
Make sure you go all the way into the back of the Northern and
Southern Caves (one in each Crevasse) to uncover those squares,
as well as all the "fingers". If you're fast, you may be able to
uncover it all in one or two dives during the main plot.

***************************************

5. Tomb Eagle (grid with a "CG")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Explored all of the Cavern of the Gods

 Tips for acquiring:
Swim through as much as you can during the main part of the plot, and
surface when you can for an air refill. In each of the altar rooms,
swim through the entire room and it should uncover the squares you
would normally uncover in the larger Pillar rooms above them.
There are about 8 squares that you cannot get to by swimming,
but when you return to the boat they WILL uncover anyway (I
think they are just large pillars or thick sections of a wall).

The 8 grid parts you cannot swim through are:

A-1SE, B-1SE, C-1SW, D-1SW (top of map area);
A-4NE, B-4NE, C-4NW, D-4NW (bottom of map area)

These areas WILL uncover anyway if you fill in all the areas
around them first. They are likely walls, or wall support areas.

***************************************

6. Legendary Defender (dolphin with a "1")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended a bottlenose dolphin

 Tips for acquiring:
This is acquired as part of the "Be the Best Trainer" quest, at
the end of part 2. You have to go to Cross Rift in Ciceros Strait
and save it from an aggressive tiger shark.

***************************************

7. Mighty Protector (dolphin with a "2")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended a short-beaked common dolphin

 Tips for acquiring:
This one's easy. You get to meet and befriend one of these dolphins
as part of the main plot; you befriend it right at Nineball Island.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 ------------------
  Row 10 [R10]

1. Artistic Expressionist (dolphin with a "3")

In-game description of how it's acquired:

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended a false killer whale

 Tips for acquiring:
You can do this in part 6 of the "Be the Best Trainer" quest;
you have to chase this dolphin around Valka Castle until you
can pulsar, then help it.

***************************************

3. Good Buddy (dolphin with a "5")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended a Risso's dolphin

 Tips for acquiring:
You can do this in part 7 of the "Be the Best Trainer" quest;
you go down to the Zahhab Depths and feed it Squid Meat and
the Seafood Set to become its friend.

***************************************

4. Grand Oracle (dolphin with a "6")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended a Commerson's dolphin

 Tips for acquiring:
You can do this in part 7 of the "Be the Best Trainer" quest;
you have to go to the re-opened Cavern of the Gods and find the
dolphin swimming near the gold statue in the Treasure Chamber.
You then need to offer the "lady" almost all of the gifts Nancy
sells in the "other" category to befriend this dolphin.

***************************************

5. Respendent Devotee (dolphin with a "7")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended a spectacled porpoise

 Tips for acquiring:
You can do this as part of the main plot, in the
Weddell Sea part of Chapter 3.

***************************************

6. Wild Rider (dolphin with an "8")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended an orca

 Tips for acquiring:
You can do this as part of part 7 of the "Be the Best Trainer" quest;

and show it a "float" (sold by Nancy in the "other" category).

***************************************

whistle to befriend it.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 --------------------
  Row 11 [R11]
 --------------------

1. Legendary Hunter (dolphin with a "10")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended a narwhal

 Tips for acquiring:
You can do this in part 4 of the "Be the Best Trainer" quest;
you need to go to the North Coast of Canada (D-1&2), and
play peek-a-boo with a red-tusked narwhal on shore, then
have Oceana, then you, befriend it in the water.

***************************************

2. Best Friend (dolphin with an "11")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Befriended an Amazon river dolphin

 Tips for acquiring:
You can do this in part 7 of the "Be the Best Trainer" quest;
you need to take a narwhal with you to Cortica Upstream to get it
to be friends with this dolphin so it will befriend you.

You NEED this dolphin to unblock the rest of Cortica Midstream.

***************************************

3. Playful Pal (dolphin and a "1" with 2 lines)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Bottlenose dolphin at highest level

 Tips for acquiring:

Free training is your best friend! It's best to have one of your
first 2 dolphins trained to where free training is open to all your
dolphins. Then use it for about 20-25 minutes, and go do something
else. Come back and end that training session; then change the day
and do another session. (Your dolphin only seems to learn so much
per day, and after so long gets in a bad mood.)

After a few in-game days of training, it should be ready for level 2.
Go to Hayako (sitting near the table on the Island), and see if a
"level certificate" (envelope) is in her queue. Since I have noticed
she gets it a little before your dolphin is actually ready to level
up, train your dolphin for another session/day, then accept it.

Once your dolphin is at level 2, teach it the level 2 tricks once
they appear, then do more free training sessions until it's ready
for level 3 (watch Hayako's queue for the certificate).

After the dolphin is successful leveling to 3, you will get the title.

***************************************

4. Reliable Teammate (dolphin and a "2" with 2 lines)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Short-beaked common dolphin at highest level

See description for the title "Playful Pal". The same
tricks will work here with this dolphin as well.

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Pacific white-sided dolphin at highest level

False killer whale at highest level

tricks will work here with this dolphin as well.

***************************************

7. Terrific Teacher (dolphin and a "5" with 2 lines)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Risso's dolphin at highest level

 Tips for acquiring:
See description for the title "Playful Pal". The same

***************************************

6. Friendly Forever (dolphin and an "11" with 2 lines)

Amazon river dolphin at highest level

 Tips for acquiring:
See description for the title "Playful Pal". The same
tricks will work here with this dolphin as well.

***************************************

7. Dolphin Trainer (dolphin with an "lv 2" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Trained a partner to level 2

 Tips for acquiring:
Train one of your two dolphins until the "free training" mode opens.
Use that "free train" mode for 20-25 minutes, then stop and change
the day; then do it again until you notice Hayako has a level up
certificate in her queue.

You only need to free train until you're sure whatever dolphin
you first train to level 2 is ready for the leveling up.

NOTE: for the level 2 certificate, 3 conditions out of these
6 will be randomly chosen for your dolphin to pass;
EU height is in brackets:

Jump/Flip: 6.5 ft [2m]
Sing: 3.6 seconds
Backflip: 6.5 ft [2m]
Wave: 4.1 seconds
Spin Jump: 6.5 ft [2m]
Tail Walk: 3.4 seconds

For each of the 3 chosen conditions your dophin needs to pass,
you get 3 chances. If your dolphin fails at any one of them, it
will fail the test. If this happens, rest for a day (or travel
somewhere), then talk to Hayako again. If there is no level
certificate in her queue a day after the failure, it means the
dolphin was not quite ready, so train it some more, then
advance the day again to see if another level certificate comes
up. When it does, try again.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 -------------------
  Row 13 [R13]
 -------------------

1. Whale Wrangler (dolphin with an "lv 3" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Trained a partner to level 3

 Tips for acquiring:
You'll get this after your first level 3 dolphin; free train, and
train, and train for level 2, then level 3.

NOTE: for the level 3 certificate, 3 conditions out of these
6 will randomly be chosen for your dolphin to pass;
EU height is in brackets:

Jump/Flip: 13.7 ft [4.2m]
Sing: 7.1 seconds
Backflip: 13.7 ft [4.2m]
Wave: 7.3 seconds
Spin Jump: 13.7 ft [4.2m]
Tail Walk: 7.4 seconds

For each of the 3 chosen conditions your dophin needs to pass,
you get 3 chances. If your dolphin fails at any one of them, it
will fail the test. If this happens, rest for a day (or travel
somewhere), then talk to Hayako again. If there is no level
certificate in her queue a day after the failure, it means the
dolphin was not quite ready, so train it some more, then
advance the day again to see if another level certificate comes
up. When it does, try again.

For this one, you CAN do combos as part of the test; this means
you actually have 2 tries per condition, so use that to your
advantage when testing for level 3!

***************************************

2. Tough Coach (dolphin with a "100")

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Trained a partner 100 times

 Tips for acquiring:
This is one of the choices for part 5 of the "Be the Best Trainer"
quest; there are two ways to get this.

One way: ring the dolphin bell at the dock's end; skip cutscene.
Exit out of training screen (you don't need to DO anything).

Other way: Just train all your dolphins to level 3; depending on
how many sessions per dolphin it takes to get each one to level 3,
you may get this by just training. If you find yourself a little
short of 100, even after all your dolphins are level 3, just use the
first way noted to get to 100.

***************************************

3. Top-Class Zoologist (movie camera facing left)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Viewed all animal-scene events

 Tips for acquiring:
There are the different cutscenes found at certain places/times
in the game. Hayako, when you dive with her, will let you re-view
the scenes in the area you dove with her in. Only the scenes you
saw before are re-viewable.

  GATAMA ATOLL:

1. Whales rearing their young
During the main plot: after reuniting mom & baby humpback whales.

2. Whale pods feeding
See scene #3 first. Then go over/down Blue Cliff until it triggers.

3. Breaching
Go ashore at the F-5 (Bird) island, automatically get it.

4. Dolphin play
This is a two part scene.
Part 1: Focus on one of the short-beaked
common dolphins near Dolphin Island (B-4).

Part 2: Go back on different day, focus on the same dolphin again.

  CICEROS STRAIT:

1. Manta Dance
Another two parter.
Part 1: Find the manta rays in at G&H-7/F,G,H-8 (South
Canyon area) first; this triggers an auto scene.

Part 2: Go to Amphitrite's Sanctuary at C-5; scene auto-triggers.

2. Endangered seals
First time you go ashore at White Cove, G&H-3.

3. Thanatos appears
Main plot: when you first meet Thanatos.

  NORTH COAST OF CANADA:

1. Narwhal
During the Be the Best Trainer quest, part 4 (Gossip Finley), where
you need to find a certain narwhal. When you get to the breathing
hole where they live (D-1&2), this scene auto-triggers.

2. Beluga
During the Be the Best Trainer quest, part 5 (Finley's Secret),
where you need to find a certain beluga. When you get to the
breathing hole where they live (A-4), this scene auto-triggers.

3. Majestic, icy seas
During the Save the Aquarium quest, part 3 (Hayako's Fears), when
Hayako wants you to do a report on the feeding habits of blue
whales. When you swim near the B-2 breathing hole, this auto-
triggers.

4. Polar bears and their young
Part 1: Dive with Hayako and swim to B-2SW breathing hole (with
the Razorbills diving in and out of the water). Go ashore there
and focus on the Polar bear. Hayako should comment on the bear
being pregnant, and to return "later" to see if there's any
young with her then.

Part 2: Return "later" (this may mean after you complete another
plot chapter, or if done with main plot, another day); dive with
Hayako again; go ashore at same place (B-2SW). This should auto-
trigger. (Note: both parts may be dependent on weather conditions.
I could only get them to trigger when the weather was clear.)

5. A polar bear hunting
Main plot: during Chapter 3, you will be asked to go to the Arctic
and observe a polar bear so one can be placed in the aquarium. After
you go ashore at B-2SW (daytime only), this auto-triggers.

  WEDDELL SEA:

1. Emperor of the Antarctic
The first time you surface at the D-1 land area, this auto-triggers.

2. World's toughest birth
Go ashore at B-3. (Need scene #1 before this auto-triggers. May
need to dive with Oceana. May only trigger after next plot chapter,
or if after plot over, another clear day.)

3. Emperor penguin chicks
Go ashore at B-3. (Need scene #2 first before this auto-triggers.
May need to dive with Oceana. May only trigger after next plot
chapter, or if after plot over, another clear day.)

4. Attackers from the sky
Go ashore at B-3. (Need scene #3 first before this auto-triggers.
May need to dive with Oceana. May only trigger after next plot
chapter, or if after plot over, another clear day.)

5. Orcas hunting
Surface at A-4; may need to have seen one of the other scenes first.

(Note about all Weddell Sea scenes: all of these may be dependent on
clear weather; that is, either you get an "aurora tonight" message,
or the the weather shows as sunny and clear. If you get a message
about the weather not "being so bad", this does NOT count as clear.)

  CORTICA MIDSTREAM:

1. Amazonian manatee eating
The first time you enter Queen's Lake, this auto-triggers.

2. Spectacled caiman with young
First time you surface near one of the
center islands, this auto-triggers.

  ZAHHAB REGION:

1. Marguerite formation
After you get an orca as a partner during the Be the Best Trainer
quest, part 7 (Finley's Past), take it out to the orca pod at H-6&7.
This should then auto-trigger.

2. Sea turtle egg laying
During the Save the Aquarium quest, part 4 (The Mysteries of Life),
you need to safely guide a researcher to see Green sea turtles
laying their eggs in the Zahhab Region. You need to go ashore at
the only land area open: C-1&2, and this auto-triggers.

3. Sea turtles hatching
During the Save the Aquarium quest, part 5 (Maternity and the Ocean),
you need to safely guide a researcher to see Green sea turtle
eggs hatching in the Zahhab Region. You need to go ashore at
the only land area open: C-1&2, and this auto-triggers.

  ZAHHAB REGION DEPTHS:

1. Sperm whale vs. giant squid
Main plot: During Chapter 5, when you need to get the Giant
Squid out of the way so you can go through a tunnel it holes
up in, you lure the Sperm whale close enough to notice the
squid, and the scene of the fight they engage in auto-triggers.

There are no animal scenes in Deep Hole, Valka Castle, Iceberg
Cavern, Cortica Upstream, or the Cavern of the Gods.

Some cutscenes are of the animals, but do not count as animal
scenes, and don't count for this title. Go figure.

(Many, MANY thanks to TheLastDuchess on the message boards
for a topic listing the names and how to get these scenes.

4. Terrarium Producer (aquarium with small "S" in corner)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Set up a small aquarium tank

 Tips for acquiring:
During the "Save the Aquarium" quest, you're asked to set up the
aquarium for visitors.
Once you set up one of the smaller tanks (the ones that deals
with the fish found under glows), you get this title from Hayako
after you talk to her at the Island afterwards.

NOTE: you only need to set up one of the four
tanks in the Small World Gallery to get this title.

5. Vivarium Director (aquarium with small "M" in corner)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Set up the Marine Life exhibit

 Tips for acquiring:
During the "Save the Aquarium" quest, you're asked to set up the
aquarium for visitors.
Once you set up the "Marine Life" exhibit (the creatures found
mostly on land), you get this title from Hayako after you talk
to her on the Island afterwards.

6. Aquarium Creator (aquarium with small "L" in corner)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Set up the main aquarium tank

 Tips for acquiring:
During the "Save the Aquarium" quest, you're asked to set up the
aquarium for visitors.
Once you set up the "Main Tank" exhibit (the large, main tank),
you get this title from Hayako after you talk to her on
the Island afterwards.

7. Customer Magnet (aquarium with 4 heads below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Attracted 1,000,000 visitors to the aquarium

 Tips for acquiring:
Visit the Aquarium at least once an in-game week; go to the Staff
Room and ask Hayako the questions there. Pay attention to question
#2, and change out the tanks according to what people want to see.
Although you can visit every so often, it seems that the visitors
get tired of the displays and the numbers drop slightly after a week.
This one takes time, so be patient!

this to be a possible favorite of hers)

You only need to show Oceana some of her favorites, not all.
Exactly how many until you get the title is unknown right now.

Update: I got this one right after I noticed I had only shown
Oceana 6 of her favorites (all were in Gatama Atoll & Deep Hole;
it was near the start of the game).
The number may be from 5-6.

(Thanks to Hrsemn4 for this list, on a now archived topic.)

 Tips for acquiring:
These are Jean-Eric's favorites (and where they can be found)

Update: it may be as low as 6 creatures shown for this title.

(Thanks to Hrsemn4 for this list, on a now archived topic.)

5. Spare Change (moneybag with a "P" & "10" below and to right)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Have 10,000P

 Tips for acquiring:
Not that hard. Get a few Treasure Rumors, don't spend
that much with Nancy, and you'll get it quickly enough.
You can also get this much just by completing 1 area map.

***************************************

6. Impressive Wallet (moneybag with a "P" & "100" below and to right)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Have 100,000P

 Tips for acquiring:
More Treasure Rumor treasures, more salvaging, guided
dive, photo, and salvage requests will net you this one.

***************************************

7. Pacific Millionaire (moneybag with "P" & "1000" below & to right)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Have 1,000,000P

 Tips for acquiring:
Lots of money-making for this one! Try not to buy anything you don't
really need from Nancy. You do need a million to re-open the CotG,
so you should get this title after you get enough to do that.

NOTE: when you complete the main plot, there is one more set
of diving equipment upgrades. If you are a good enough diver,
you won't need them until after you get a million Ps. All those
updates cost 232,400P, and if you have that much, it will be a
BIG hit to your wallet to shell out that much for the last set of
upgrades. If you really MUST get an upgrade, get the 6 L
Support Tank for 64,000P, for more air.

If you complete as much of each quest as you can, you can
get more Ps; a lot of Valka Castle salvaging helps too.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 ------------------
  Row 15 [R15]
 ------------------

1. Seven-Seas Multimillionaire (moneybag with "P" & "2000" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Have 2,000,000P

 Tips for acquiring:
Most people try to get to this point before they re-open the Cavern
of the Gods; however, I would advise to re-open the CotG BEFORE
you get this.

You get 50,000P just for swimming into the CotG Treasure Chamber,
when in a cutscene you decide to "leave the treasure alone".
You get 100,000P for getting all 100 coins, the last 7 of them are
in the CotG.
The CotG is THE best place in the game to salvage, even better than
Valka Castle! (Which I bet you're sick of seeing after all the
salvaging you did to re-open the CotG.)

Combining salvaging and guided dive requests help, although you
CANNOT combine salvage REQUESTS and guided dives (you get a
message about it being "rude" if you try to pick up a salvage
request on a guided dive).
Best dive is a combo guided dive/salvaging, and you have a photo
request for a creature in the area you are doing the guided dive in.

It's easy to get back to the point where you were before you re-
opened the CotG, and stay on track to get this title.

***************************************

2. Human Compass (frame with 2 fish, & 1 person below right)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed 20 excellent guide requests

 Tips for acquiring:
"Excellent" likely means that Oceana (seen behind you when the
client gives you your Pelagos) claps and bounces up and down.

The more chimes during a dive, the better. For lots of chimes,
find creatures under glows that glow or shine. Poke them for chimes,
feed them while they glow for double the chimes!

Places to go ashore to feed creatures nets you quick and multiple
chimes as well.

A good dive is one that nets you triple or quadruple the promised
Ps, or even more. Usually Oceana will give her little clap-and-
bounce show for these dives.

Talk to your client underwater, and if they wave at you and tell
you how happy they are, usually you are on the right track.

20 may sound like a lot, but if you carefully pick and choose
which dive requests you take, this won't be a hard title to get.
As for which areas and creatures to dive in/show, I like:
Deep Hole & Cavern of the Gods (Pineconefish) (best!)
Valka Castle (Luminescent sea, Branched, and other
glowing slugs, as well as Mauve Stingers) (good)
Zahhab Region Depths (Popeye Grenadiers, those small, glowing
fish floating near caves in the area in large groups.) (best!)

***************************************

3. Victorious Salvager (frame with treasure chest &person below right)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed 30 salvage requests

 Tips for acquiring:
This one is easy. Just accept salvage requests in areas you like
to frequent, and make sure to get the item to the client in time!

Remember for most areas, two extra days are required, one for
travel TO the area, one for travel FROM the area. Gatama Atoll
and Deep Hole are the exceptions to this, as they are both
considered local and no extra days for travel are needed.
(Although you still get a warning message for these areas
if you take a request with only 1 or 2 days left to do it.)

***************************************

4. Pro Cameraman (camera with a person)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Published 20 photos rated A or B

 Tips for acquiring:
This one is not very easy. You can try these photo tips:
Take pictures of creatures under glows. Use the F-2 setting;
this makes everything but your subject blurry. The magazines love
that, it seems.

Try to get your subject as close to the frame's center as possible;
try to make sure at least one of their eyes is visible.

Side shots should be OK as long as one eye is visible.

Landmarks: I have a hit-or-miss record with these. The best
pictures I seem to do for these are to choose one particular
prominent feature, and get a close up of it. For instance, if
a request asks for the King's Chamber (a room in Valka Castle),
I get a front view shot of the desk, with the large window behind
it. This nets me either an "A" or "B" most of the time.

Save the A and B rated photos, as the same
requests sometimes will come up again.

If you get a C, it WILL get published, but not count toward this
title. Discard those photos, as well as the D and E rated ones.

***************************************

5. #1 Showman (dolphin, with 1 person's head below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Completed 20 excellent dolphin shows

 Tips for acquiring:
Depending on how good you are at shaking the Wiimote, this will
either be easy or hard.

Possibly when Oceana claps and bounces up and down, it means you
got an excellent show. If she just nods, that may only mean a good
show. (Uncertain of this, however.)

Just try to get the ending tricks right, and don't repeat the same
set of tricks too much. The more the client stands up and claps,
the better.

Try cycling through the level 1, then level 2, then level 3 tricks
(depending on what level your dolphin is at).

Clients during the shows want 6-7 "combos" of tricks for a level
2 dolphin; the first 5-6 "combos" you choose yourself; the last
one the client will ask for 2 specific tricks for the "combo".
Clients during the shows want 8-9 "combos" for a level 3 dolphin;
the first 7-8 are your choice, last one is their choice of 3 tricks.
("Combo" means that a level 2 dolphin can perform 2 tricks at a
time; a level 3 dolphin can perform 3 tricks at a time.)

If you find level 3 tricks are too hard for you to consistently hit,
try for this title when your dolphins are at level 2, since your
client CAN ask for a level 3 trick as one of their final requests.
They can even ask for the dolphin's special trick if the dolphin
knows it! And if you fail the final request, it does not bode
well for your whole show.

***************************************

6. Confused Tourist (2 people facing each other, shaking hands)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Talked while diving 100 times

 Tips for acquiring:
If you just like to dive and go, this may not be the most favorite
title for you. I'm not sure if talking to a client during a guided
dive counts towards this one, but you can try doing that.

Talk often to your other team members when you dive,
and you should get this without too much trouble.
If you talk to Hayako while diving, she tells you where large
creatures are; GG tells you about nearby salvage items;
and Oceana gives you guided tour of the area.

***************************************

7. Hitch Hiker (diver grabbing onto whale's back)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Towed by a creature 10 times

 Tips for acquiring:
This one's easy. Just find a large creature you hitch a ride from,
whenever you dive the first few times, and take a short tow.

NOTE: being towed by your dolphin partner as you swim seems
to count for this title as well; if you uncover your map squares
this way, you should not have a problem getting this title.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 ------------------
  Row 16 [R16]
 ------------------

1. Professional Tour Guide (2 swimming fish, 1 person)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Accepted 20 guide requests

 Tips for acquiring:
This one says NOTHING about how well you need to do, so
after your first 20 guided dives, you should get this title.

***************************************

2. Grateful Gatherer (treasure chest, 1 person)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Accepted 20 salvage requests

 Tips for acquiring:
Since it just says 20 were accepted, you should get
this title after the first 20 requests you do.

***************************************

3. Eager Performer (dolphin with 1 person)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Performed 20 dolphin shows

 Tips for acquiring:
This one says nothing about how well you did on the shows; only
that you DID 20 shows, so you should get this after your 20th show.

***************************************

4. Photogenic Photog (camera, with 1 person)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Accepted 20 photo requests

 Tips for acquiring:
This does not say how well or badly you need to do for the photos,
so you should get this after your 20th photo request picture.
It seems the requests that are part of the "Fragments of Memory"
quest do count toward this title.

***************************************

5. Dragon Tracker (curled-up crocodile)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found a Pelago crocodile [EU name: Paoul crocodile]

 Tips for acquiring:
Part of the Special Request called "Mysterious Object"; use the
telescope to look out at the sea on the morning after a night with
a full moon; you may seem to "see" something out there.
Then go out to Gatama and follow the instructions given to find
the Pelago [Paoul] crocodile on the island at G-8.

***************************************

6. Monster Chaser (humpback whale)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Black Harbinger

 Tips for acquiring:
Use the telescope on Nineball Island to look out to sea on the NIGHT
of a full moon. You MAY get a message about a "dark shadow" out
in Gatama. Go out there and dive, swim to the Spring Garden area
(D-5). At times, the Black Harbinger will replace the normal humpback
whale and calf that is out there.

NOTE: this legendary can be seen day and night on the 3
days/nights of the New Moon phase only.

***************************************

7. Norse Viking (Indo-Pacific sailfish)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Gungnir

 Tips for acquiring:
Gungnir is usually swimming with the rest of the sailfish around
G&H-1 in Ciceros Strait. He's REALLY fast, though, and hard to
focus on. Simply start feeding the other sailfish in the area, and
guess who comes to take a bite? When he does, focus on him. You
will be able to distinguish Gungnir from the other sailfish by his
beautiful coloring and swift movements.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 -------------------
  Row 17 [R17]
 -------------------

1. Turtle Hero (large turtle)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Cacao Maharaja [EU name: Cocoa Maharaja]

 Tips for acquiring:
After you find Snorkel [Goldie], the lost dog, he will help you with
the Special Request called "Floating Island" to find this legendary.
When the dog is laying by the area of the campfire (whether the
campfire is there or not doesn't matter), choose to pet him.
He then begins to bark at something out in the water. After
talking to Jean-Eric, you decide to go out to Gatama Atoll and find
what is was you saw. Dive at the Spring Garden site (B-5), and
follow Jean-Eric's instructions to find the Cacao [Cocoa] Maharaja.

***************************************

2. Sun Dancer (ocean sunfish)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Apollo

 Tips for acquiring:
Go dive at Deep Hole at night, and there is Apollo, just
swimming around instead of the usual sunfish. Easy!
Just watch out for that tiger shark you need to pulsar.

***************************************

3. Lone Shark (large shark)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Thanatos

 Tips for acquiring:
This can either be easy or hard, depending on how much air you
have, and how fast you are! Thanatos is the really, REALLY big,
mean, great white shark you meet early in the game.

If you're quick, and lucky, during the main plot part where you
have to continuously pulsar him (and find that does NO good!)
to further the plot, you can focus on him right before he takes a
swipe at you, or as he's just starting to swim away from you to
have another go. Otherwise, you can find him, outside of the main
plot, hanging around the wreck of the Emerald Lady (H-6&7), along
with several other great whites.

(For those who have played the first game, yes, Thanatos DOES seem
really familiar, doesn't he? It looks like they used the model of the
Magu Tapah for him. Although I have to say I liked poking the Magu
Tapah more than teasing Thanatos; it's much more fun!)

***************************************

4. Caviar Vessel (large sturgeon)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Lady Dorthea [EU name: Divine Gift]

 Tips for acquiring:
This in Ciceros Strait, around C through E-1; just stay out of
C-1, since there's some not-very-nice great white sharks there.
This large, beautiful sturgeon is hard to miss as it swims near
the sandy ocean floor.

***************************************

5. Magical Beast (big sea serpent)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Sea Serpent

 Tips for acquiring:
During the "Young Entrepreneur" quest, Oceana asks about a "dark
shadow" some other divers saw on the Ciceros Strait map as they
dove (only happens after the Ciceros map is completed).

Dive in Ciceros with Oceana; swim out to the far edge of F-8 and get
a cutscene where you see the Sea Serpent. (This credits you with
the info/trivia.)

***************************************

6. Cyclades Phantasm (large manta ray)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Phantom

 Tips for acquiring:
Get the"Ghost of Valka Castle" special request in your book.
Dive at Ciceros Strait, and go to Valka Castle at night; take
Oceana with you. Follow the cutscenes and find the Phantom
in the Mermaid's Ballroom.

***************************************

7. Lucky Streak (large crab)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Ailouros Pearl

 Tips for acquiring:
This one is found under a glow in Valka Castle, the Mermaid's
Ballroom. Take Oceana with you; find the glow right in front of
the Throne, and meet a gorgeous, beautifully patterned crab!

NOTE: you may not need Oceana to find this legendary; I have
found it both alone, and with GG or Hayako. I can't seem to find
it when investigating the Castle for the first time during the
main plot, however. It shows up afterwards.

1. Mysterious Aquanaut (large cameroceras)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Cameroceras

 Tips for acquiring:
You need to find all the coins associated with part 2 of the "Voice
of the Night Sky" quest, called "Signs of the Zodiac". Once you find
them all, you get a radio transmission pointing to the "edge of the
end of the crimson waters". Go out to the Zahhab Region, very end
of the map (H-8). Swim as close to the edge as possible, and you'll
see the Cameroceras. The cutscene gives you the info & trivia.

Coins needed:
Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio,
Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

***************************************

2. Fanatical Captain (large whale)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Leviathan

 Tips for acquiring:
This huge whale swims around F-4 to F-7 in the Zahhab Region.

NOTE: if you don't feel like swimming around looking for this,
swim into the Cavern of the Sun entrance (F-4NW, 115 ft [35m]),
and wait there until you see it swim by; or dive with Hayako to
help you locate this legendary more precisely.

***************************************

3. Ancient Remnant (large anomalocarus)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Anomalocarus

 Tips for acquiring:
You need to find all the coins associated with part 3 of the "Voice
of the Night Sky" quest, called "Solar System". Once you do,
you get a radio transmission telling you about an old castle and
its "guardian".

Swim to Valka Castle with GG; go through the Underwater Gallery
until you get a cutscene where see the Anomalocarus. The cutscene
credits you with the info and trivia.

Coins needed:
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus,
Neptune, Pluto, Eris, Solar, Lunar.

***************************************

4. Grave Guardian (giant isopod)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Gravekeeper

 Tips for acquiring:
When you get the Special Request "The Grave Keeper", dive at the
Zahhab Region with Oceana and go into the Depths, Southern Crevasse.
Dive down near the bottom and find the Twin Caves. Keep the
Bluntnose sixgill shark pacified, then follow the instructions and
cutscenes until you find the Gravekeeper.

***************************************

5. Living Fossil (large coelacanth)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Living Fossil

 Tips for acquiring:
You likely will need to wait until you re-open the Cavern of the
Gods to find this one. It swims with the other coelacanths in
the Pillars of Shadow; you can tell which one it is because this one
is larger than the others, and more lightly colored than the rest.

(NOTE: this legendary only appears AFTER the CotG re-opening.)

***************************************

6. Clay Horror (giant squid)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Kraken Jr.

 Tips for acquiring:
You will likely need to wait until after you re-open the Cavern of
the Gods to find this legendary. Once you do, go all the way through
the Subterranean Reception Room; emerge from that into the Altar of
Isis room. Look around and UP near the ceiling; notice a small giant
squid swimming around. You've found Kraken Jr.!

(NOTE: this legendary only appears AFTER the CotG re-opening.)

***************************************

7. Elegant Tuxedo (large penguin)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Big Bobby

 Tips for acquiring:
You will need to complete part 3 of the quest "Help Me!", called
"Injured Penguin", where you end up healing Big Bobby first.
Then dive at the Weddell Sea later on, and go ashore at A-4SW.

NOTE: you DO need to heal him first, but you CAN focus on
him when he's in the water and get his info/trivia then. If
he is still calm from the pulsar, you can't feed him for the
trivia, so choose to "poke" him.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 -------------------
  Row 19 [R19]
 -------------------

1. Peguin Manaic (small penguin)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Snowball [EU version: Snowy]

 Tips for acquiring:
After the quest "Fragments of Memory", a Special Request called
"Research Subject" shows up in your book. Hayako wants a picture
of a pure white Rockhopper penguin she has been studying.
Rockhoppers are found in the Weddell Sea, so that's where to go.

Dive in the Weddell Sea during a "really bad snowstorm"; go ashore
at A-4SW; through the whirling snow, locate Snowball [Snowy].

***************************************

2. Light Panther (large seal)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Leo (EU name: Arthur)

 Tips for acquiring:
After getting the Special Request called "Strange Animal in
Antarctica", go out to the Weddell Sea. Dive and follow Hayako's
instructions to find Leo [Arthur] in the Iceberg Cavern.

***************************************

3. Royal Discoverer (large caiman)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found King Gigide

 Tips for acquiring:
You need to find the "Caiman Relic" in the Zahhab Region (in front
of the Stone Castle, E-3). It's on a mound, in a sparkly glow
there. Once you find it, Hayako will ask to see it and tell you
its history.

Once she gives it back, go dive at Cortica. Go Upstream
and get a cutscene where you find King Gigide.

***************************************

4. Diamond Digger (large catfish)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Golden Catfish

 Tips for acquiring:
Find the Servant's Ring in Valka Castle (in the Treasure Vault).
Once GG joins you, at some point he wants to examine the Ring.
Let him. Then go dive at Cortica Upstream; once you reach the
Piraiba catfish, it wants the Ring. Give it to the catfish.
Leave, and dive again there at some time and the catfish has
turned golden!

***************************************

5. Local Legend (large manatee)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found Mama Cortica

 Tips for acquiring:
Sometime after you complete the whole Cortica Midstream map, you
will notice a Special Request in your book called "Mother of Cortica".
After a cutscene, go dive at Cortica Midstream and follow the
instructions and cutscenes to find Mama Cortica.

NOTE: you will need to go back to Nineball Island and choose to
sleep until morning; then when you come out of the cabin, the
cutscene will automatically trigger.

***************************************

6. Charming Arrow (large sea angel)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Ice Cupid

 Tips for acquiring:
Dive with Oceana at the North Coast of Canada; look for a glowing
spot at the breathing hole at B-2SW. It has a bunch of sea angels;
the largest one is the Ice Cupid.

***************************************

7. Amazing Sleuth (large whale)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found the Ancient Mother [EU version: White Mother]

 Tips for acquiring:
Sometime after the end of the main plot, a "whale ornament" shows
up on the beach at Nineball Island. After a cutscene, go dive at the
North Coast of Canada; swim to the Ice Mosiac (C-2), and find
the Ancient (White) Mother.

NOTE: the appearance of the Whale Ornament may be dependent on finding
all of the whales in the Dolphin/Whale part of the Marine
Encyclopedia and getting their info.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 -------------------
  Row 20 [R20]
 -------------------

1. Myth Finder (whale with a crown on its head)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Found all the legendary creatures

 Tips for acquiring:
Eventually, you will find all the legendaries if you just keep at
it. Once you do, talk to Hayako and she gives you this title.

***************************************

2. Veritable Bathysphere (diver with a "lv 6" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reached Diving Level 6

 Tips for acquiring:
Your diving level goes up the more and deeper you dive,
so dive lots and this title should be no problem for you.

Deep Hole and Valka Castle help with this one, and both
should be open to you early enough to aquire this title.

***************************************

3. Virtual Bathyscape (diver with a "lv 12" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reached diving Level 12

 Tips for acquiring:
A lot more diving gets you this title. Try diving a
lot in the Zahhab Depths to reach this title.

***************************************

4. World-Renowned Super Diver (diver with a "lv 20" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reached diving Level 20

 Tips for acquiring:
Just dive. Dive and dive and DIVE. Eventually
you'll reach the top diving level.

NOTE: There are 3 topics on the Gamefaqs/Gamespot message boards
that details a glitch in the Cortica River, Upstream. This glitch can
help you reach this diving level faster, if you want to use it. The
first 2 boards are archived, but are found here:

www.gamefaqs.com/boards/954373-endless-ocean-blue-world/54022886

www.gamefaqs.com/boards/954373-endless-ocean-blue-world/54418159

This is a newer topic by svictory, with a slightly different method
that seems to work better and more consistently to trigger the glitch:

www.gamefaqs.com/boards/954373-endless-ocean-blue-world/56944591

For those not able to access these boards, this is the glitch:
1. Dive at the Cortica River, to Upstream dive site
2. Swim upstream, to left riverbank outside of Temple
3. Be close to the surface, and position your diver between
the Falls and the roots/mossy area of the left riverbank
4. Continuously surface and dive, keeping your diver always
between the Falls and and the roots/bank
5. One of the times you surface, you should notice a large,
gaping "hole" in the riverbank and surrounding area
6. Dive again, and notice hole there; swim through hole

The newer topic has a slightly different and possibly more
consistent method to open the "hole" in the riverbank:

Steps 1-3 are the same as the first way, but differ at 4
(copy-pasted from the topic from svictory):

As stated in earlier posts:
1) be in 1st person
2) approach the left side of the falls
3) be as close to the surface and the left bank as possible
4) swim towards the roots & mossy area

Here is where the instructions changed for me:

5) keep your finger on the swim button B and keep swimming in between
the roots & mossy area (more towards the mossy area, but not too
centered on the moss).

6) once you can't go any further (keeping your finger on the swim
B button) you should notice a little push (to the left) towards the
bank as the water from the fall pushes you against it. It's a very
slight push, but once you notice it, you'll know it every time. If you
don't get the push, just turn slightly either left or right depending
on where you are facing and you should get the push.
Never release the swim B button.

7) while still keeping your finger on the swim button B, hit the A
button to surface. You'll notice the open glitchy area, then dive
again and it's there.

Swim through the hole, and dive down as deep as your air allows.
Choose to return to the boat before your air is almost gone.
You can swim back through the bank if you find the hole again,
and return to the main area.

NOTE 2: Another glitch to get out of bounds has been found, this time
in the Weddell Sea, and has been found by GameFAQs user Spyder1952.
The topic detailing the glitch is found here:

www.gamefaqs.com/boards/954373-endless-ocean-blue-world/62201840

This one is a little vaguer as to exactly how to get out, but can
work toward getting Diving Level 20.

***************************************

5. Capable Scavenger (treasure chest with a "lv 6" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reached Salvage Level 6

 Tips for acquiring:
Nancy ups your salvage level the more you salvage, and the more
expensive items you find. So just keep salvaging to get this title.

NOTE: You get another Salvage Level for every 10 new items
you find; so for this title you have at least 50 items
in your Salvage Book.

***************************************

6. Salvage Journeyman (treasure chest with a "lv 12" below it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reached Salvage Level 12

 Tips for acquiring:
More and more salvaging, and finding several
Treasure Rumor treasures help with this.

NOTE: you get another Salvage Level for every 10 new items
you find; so for this title you have at least 100 items
in your Salvage Book.

***************************************

7. Extraordinary Treasure Hunter (treasure chest with "lv 20" below)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reached Salvage Level 20

 Tips for acquiring:
Finding all the Treasure Rumor treasures helps;
a LOT of salvaging gets you this title.

NOTE: you get another Salvage Level for every 10 new items
you find; so for this title you need 190 items in your book.

I figured out how the Salvage Levels work, so here
is the list (also found on my Salvage Guide):
Salvage Level 1: 0-9 new items
Salvage Level 2: 10-19 new items
Salvage Level 3: 20-29 new items
Salvage Level 4: 30-39 new items
Salvage Level 5: 40-49 new items
Salvage Level 6: 50-59 new items
Salvage Level 7: 60-69 new items
Salvage Level 8: 70-79 new items
Salvage Level 9: 80-89 new items
Salvage Level 10: 90-99 new items
Salvage Level 11: 100-109 new items
Salvage Level 12: 110-119 new items
Salvage Level 13: 120-129 new items
Salvage Level 14: 130-139 new items
Salvage Level 15: 140-149 new items
Salvage Level 16: 150-159 new items
Salvage Level 17: 160-169 new items
Salvage Level 18: 170-179 new items
Salvage Level 19: 180-189 new items
Salvage Level 20: 190-200 new items

 -------------------
  Row 21 [R21]
 -------------------

1. Competent Apprentice (business building with "rating 3" around it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reached Company Rating 3

 Tips for acquiring:
Doing the various requests (dolphin show, salvage, and guided dive)
and doing well on them help bump up your company rating. This rating
should not be hard to get to.

Completing the maps may help, but it is unknown if that does or
not. It is not known if good photo requests contribute more
than bad ones to the company rating.

***************************************

2. Accomplished Manager (business building with "rating 6" around it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reached Company Rating 6

 Tips for acquiring:
Just keep doing the various client requests until you reach this
rating.

It is not known at this time how many of each request gets you to
each level, or if a certain mixture of requests is what levels you up.

***************************************

3. Celebrated President (business building with "rating 10" around it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Reaching Company Rating 10

 Tips for acquiring:
A lot of requests contribute to this title. Many reports from the
message boards for this game list each request as being over 70
each for this title.

GameFAQs/Gamespot user SpiritChaser09 confirms they needed these
numbers for the title:
70 dolphin shows
70 photo requests
70 salvage requests
56 guided dives

The GameFAQs topic is found here:

www.gamefaqs.com/boards/954373-endless-ocean-blue-world/62270070

***************************************

4. Champion Swimmer (stopwatch)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Spent 20 hours diving

 Tips for acquiring:
This title is for 20 hours in the WATER, not just
playing the game. Swim, swim, SWIM for this title!

***************************************

5. World Traveler (compass pointing northwest)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Swam 600 miles

 Tips for acquiring:
This one may feel near impossible to get. Even at diving level 20,
you can only swim for so long. If you really feel like going for it,
try this:

Go to the Zahhab Region, and dive with a dolphin partner (any of
them should do). Swim out to the open sea area; then point the
pointer in such a way that your diver and dolphin make a slightly
large circle in the water; remember to stay shallow.

Leave your diver like that, and check back now and then to see
how much air is left in the tank. When the tank is almost empty,
return to the boat. If you have more time, repeat.

Do this when you have some extra time on your TV and game,
and go do something else (it WILL get boring watching your diver
endlessly circle through the water).

At the highest diving level (20), with the largest tank, you should
be able to stay down there, going in circles, for about 4-5 HOURS
(yes, real time!); around 4 1/2 hours equals about 30 miles.
Over 5 hours (with only 1 bar of air left) may be around 39 miles.

Do this enough times, and you'll get this title!

Update: Gamefaqs/Gamespot user SopPups has an alternative method
to get this title.

If you can access the Gamefaqs boards, the topic is here:
www.gamefaqs.com/boards/954373-endless-ocean-blue-world/57248059

If you cannot see the boards, here is the basic method:

Find a fast species of fish, with a large circuit, and focus on it.
Then let the shoal carry you with them on its route!
The larger the circuit, the better. It also helps to find a large
shoal of fast fish, so you actually move around. (The small "bait"
type fish are fast, but their circuits are so small you don't really
move around much.) Watch the shoal move around as you are
focused on them, and make sure you can't be "scraped" off
the fish by rocks, coral, or dangerous creatures.

A good shoal: the Bigeye trevally in Gatama Atoll, C-5

Other good shoals, must be careful about being scraped off, though:
Atlantic Bluefin tuna in the North Coast of Canada, A-1 (focus on one
of them from below to avoid the ice floes)
Bigeye trevally in Ciceros strait, D-4 (according to SopPups, these
pass near some rocks in Amphitrite's Sanctuary where you can get
scraped off if you aren't watching)

Once you are certain the shoal is fast and stays away from rocks
and other impediments/dangers, you can freely leave the TV and go
do something else. As with the first method, make sure you can
keep an eye on the air gauge, and when nearly out of air, return
to the boat.

***************************************

6. Air Aficionado (air gauge)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Used 1,000 liters of air

 Tips for acquiring:
Like the 20 hours diving title, this is gotten
from swimming and MORE swimming.

***************************************

7. Rich Spender (large moneybag with "P" on it)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Spent 1,000,000P

 Tips for acquiring:
You can get this title after you re-open the Cavern of the Gods.
If you decide to hold off buying everything until you have
2,000,000P, then blow all you can on everything you DIDN'T buy
before then, you should get it.

-----------------------------------------------------------

--------------------
  Row 22 [R22]
 -------------------

1. Nocturnal Submarine (crescent moon)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Went diving at night 10 times

 Tips for acquiring:
Really easy one to get. Just rest until night
somewhere, then dive 10 times.

***************************************

2. Generous Feeder (fish head with cube near its mouth)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Gave food 1,000 times

 Tips for acquiring:
You wanna get this title fast? Go feed all the piranhas in the
Cortica River, Midstream. Otherwise, in the course of getting
creature trivia, you may end up with this title.

***************************************

3. Prolific Photographer (camera)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Took 100 photos

 Tips for acquiring:
If you are doing the photo requests a lot, then this should be a
piece of cake for you. If not, stay in the Island, fill up your
camera (it holds 20 pictures) by taking pictures of anything, at
all, or specific Island stuff, then empty the camera.
Repeat until you have taken 100 photos.

***************************************

4. Metal Detective (grid with wavy line)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Used the Multisensor for 3 hours

 Tips for acquiring:
During your salvaging trips, if you know where you are and where
you're going, just leave the Multisensor on all the time and you'll
get this with no problem.

***************************************

5. Curious Cat (fish inside zoom arrow)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Focused on 1,000 creatures

 Tips for acquiring:
During the game, and your hunt for all the creatures in your book,
you likely won't have to focus that many times. To make up the
difference, go out somewhere with a lot of fish and focus away!

NOTE: doing guided dives can also help with this title. The clients
like it when you focus on lots of creatures, so if you do a lot of
guided dive requests, this title should come easily.

***************************************

6. Magnificent Visionary (magnifying glass with a fish inside)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Used Zoom mode 100 times

 Tips for acquiring:
There are nearly 100 creatures under glows, and if you go after
all the coins, you will easily get this title without much extra
effort on your part.

***************************************

7. Steel Wet Suit (triangle w/exclamation point, AKA the danger sign)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Attacked by creatures 100 times

 Tips for acquiring:
This one's easier than it sounds. Wait until you have a large
tank, and go play with the great white sharks in Ciceros Strait!

If you really hate doing that, you can go for a safer target:
go to Valka Castle, and go into one of the two rooms with luna
lionfish, and just keep running into them.

If you don't feed the piranhas in Cortica, Midstream,
they ARE dangerous as well. You can go swim among them
without feeding them for this title if you want.

-----------------------------------------------------------

 -------------------
  Row 23 [R23]
 -------------------

1. Island Deserter (boat)

In-game description of how it's acquired:
Left Nineball Island 100 times

 Tips for acquiring:
This is easy to get, since it counts EVERY time you leave the Island.
After each dive, return to boat and go back to the Island instead of
going to some other destination, then that way you can leave from
the Island every time you need to do something.

  Change Title Screen [CTS]
 ---------------------------------

I thought it would be a good idea to include this part, as it IS
part of the Title Section. This is simply an explanation of how
changing your title works.

This choice is between the choices for "Title" and "Records";
here you can change which title you are currently using, or mix
and match parts of title names to make your own.

To simply change your title (default screen), scroll down the list
of titles and press "A" over the one you wish to use. Titles you
already have are only available here. Your chosen title will then
be highlighted, and appear on the top of the screen. The titles
are listed in the same order as they appear in your main title
screen.

To mix and match title parts, choose the two dashes at the bottom
of the screen. Now the screen changes, and you will notice the titles
are split into two pieces. Choose a part or word from one title in the
first column, then move to the second column and choose another
word or title part. (Only a first and second title word/part can be
combined this way; you cannot have two first parts or two second
parts of a title as your custom title.) Now the two title parts you
chose are seen at the top of your screen. When you are happy with
your choices, you can either go back to the main title choice screen,
or leave that screen entirely. Again, only the titles you have earned
are available here.

=================================================

 ----------------------------
  Records Screen [RCS]
 ----------------------------

I decided to add this in case you wish to print it out and keep
track of things yourself. This screen is at the bottom of the Title
Section, and it keeps a log of things like how many miles [or
meters, for those with the EU version] you've swam, how many
times you've trained your dolphins, things like that. Many of these
things pertain to the acquisition of titles, which is likely why it's
found in this section.
It can be a real pain to have to go back to the island constantly and
keep checking this to see how much progress you've made, so here
is the handy list of all the records the game keeps for you.

There is an in-game option to save your current records to an SD
card (if your Wii has one in the slot), or erase the saved records
from the SD card. (There are two buttons for these options at the
top left of the Records screen.)

You may notice a row of ???? if the place/creature/thing is not
available to you yet; when you open that option, the record will
fill in and begin to show your progress there.

You may also notice when you begin the game, the record is quite
short, but gets longer as you play. This is likely due to character
limits on the text. When you have all things available, you will
have a grand total of 18 pages of records to look at.

Since each item fills in when available, it will push the items that
come after it down, or down onto the next page. Some of these
will not show up on the pages listed until much later into the game.
This listing is as it appears when all records are available.
I am listing them as close to how they appear in-game as I can,
meaning some of the records will be below and to the right of
their names, not directly to their right. If the EU version has
kilometers/meters, I will add their abbreviations in [].
I will also add any EU differences in brackets as well.

So, without further ado, here is the Records list!
