Go level up in the sunny place (forget what its called), until your like 65 or 70, then excavate some fossils (with an A), evolve them twice, and bang, insta team of level 70s. I had really good luck with Totegarda, with one of them I was able to take out over half his health.

Komainados (sp) raises overall ATK and DEF by 30%, baking it hard to get killed in one shot.

Long-range special attacks can get deflected easily by Jado, so don't use them.

The Tekka Shield from Bahumud is great against all non-ice attacks from him.

Zuwakrid lets you reflect long-range special attacks from Jado.

Sleeping on it helps, as well.

You probably already know this, but once he gets down to half health, he gets much stronger, faster, and he uses more attacks.
What I did was powerlevel, and fill up every single Spectrobe's charge gauge. Then I spammed all of the specials I had stored when he was in his second phase.
Don't sit around trying to shield; almost all of his attacks can't be blocked. When he uses his ice moves, just run backwards, or shield if you can. This is one of his weaker moves, but if you get frozen, you can take some serious damage.
