Question from legendracer97
What happens whens all the Rainbow notes are collected?
I just started playing the game today and cant seem to be good enough yet to get all the little rainbow music notes on the second galaxy. What happens when you get them all anyway, and do you have to get them in order?

Collecting every single rainbow note before the time runs out makes in this game 3 1-Up mushrooms appear.

Collecting the rainbow music notes results in 1-Up mushrooms appearing. Usually there are 3 rewarded for this. However, it is not necessary for any type of game completion to get these notes.
Once you collect all the music notes (that appear at that time) you get 3 1-Up Mushrooms (usually standing still). The only other purpose is to let you listen to the original music.
Collecting all of the Rainbow Notes provides a small bit of old music (usually) and three 1-Up mushrooms (again, usually). They come out of Question Mark (?) Coins and are very useful in levels where frequent death can be a problem, like Boo Moon Galaxy. I advise getting them when you are able to, since they aren't ridiculously hard to get. Also, there is no order to collecting them, all that is required is that every single one of them is, well, collected.
Try to look for a pattern in which they form, follow that pattern, and reward yourself with a few extra lives.
