Goddess Cubes
In this page, the Goddess Cubes are organized by what light in the sky you drop through to get to their area. For some of them, you'll have to wait until you get farther into the game than you will for others.
There are 27 Goddess Cubes, but with the way they're set up here, the number system is to show how many are under each light.
Once you have beaten the sandship, Fi's expanded dowsing ability will allow you to dowse for the goddess cubes and chests. Use this to your advantage to pick up any you missedm
Faron Province (Green Light)
Goddess Cube #1 (Game Requirement)
Requirements: None
Location: Deep Woods; Next to Gorko.
Goddess Cube #2
Requirements: None
Location: Deep Woods; Outside the entrance to Skyview Temple.
Goddess Cube #3
Requirements: Skyview Temple completed
Location: Skyview Spring; After you've completed Skyview Temple, jump into the water of Skyview Spring. Run behind the platform in the center of the spring to find a Goddess Cube.
Goddess Cube #4
Requirements: Water Dragon's Scale
Location: Faron Woods; Use the Water Dragon's Scale to swim inside of the Great Tree. Once you exit the Great Tree, immediately look down to see the Goddess Cube. Jump down to it.
Goddess Cube #5
Requirements: Water Dragon's Scale
Location: Faron Woods; Climb to the top portion of the Great Tree. Near the very top area where you meet the Kikwi, you'll find an area of the Great Tree that sticks out towards the Viewing Platform. Just to the south of this area, hang off the ledge so that you can see down below. The Goddess Cube can be found here and there is a tight rope leading to another platform.
Goddess Cube #6
Requirements: Water Dragon's Scale
Location: Lake Floria; While making your way through Lake Floria, you will come to a Bird Statue that is on the surface. Turn around and walk to the back end of this cavern to find the Goddess Cube in this area.
Goddess Cube #7
Requirements: Clawshots
Location: Faron Woods; Look for a Clawshot marker just to the south of the Great Tree. The cube is right next to it. It's possible to get this cube early by jumping down to it from the Great Tree, but you won't be able to get the chest it unlocks until you get the Clawshot.
Chest location: On an island just east of the yellow light leading to the Lanayru region. You'll need to drop into the island from a hole in the top and then Clawshot up to the chest.
Chest contents: Piece of Heart
Goddess Cube #8
Requirements: Clawshots
Location: Deep Woods; Above the entrance to Skyview Temple. Walk to the right side of the temple (facing the temple) and Clawshot some vines on the side of the temple to get on top. Clawshot another set of vines to get to the cube.
Chest location: On an island in the northeastern skies. This is the island Beedle takes you to if you sleep until nighttime in his shop's bed. In order to get to the chest, you'll have to do just that; the chest is inaccessible unless Beedle's ship is on the island. Once you've taken your nap in his ship, exit the ship, climb the ship's ladder, and jump over to the chest.

Goddess Cube #9
Requirements: Clawshots
Location: Lake Floria; Found just outside the entrance to the Ancient Cistern. Facing the pathway that leads to where the Water Dragon Faron is, turn to the left and look up. There are some hanging vines here and they will lead to it.
Chest location: The island below Fun Fun Island.
Chest contents: Gold Rupee
Eldin Province (Red Light)
Goddess Cube #1
Requirements: None
Location: Eldin Volcano; Right at the start of the Eldin Volcano region. Just walk forward a bit, take the first left, and drop down to the lower ledge.
Goddess Cube #2
Requirements: None
Location: Eldin Volcano; After you pass the Mogma who teaches you how to use Bomb Flowers, run ahead to the new area, past the Bird Statue. The pathway splits three ways. Drop off the ledge to the left and then turn right or run straight ahead.
Goddess Cube #3
Requirements: None
Location: Eldin Volcano; When you jump down in the small volcano, guide your fall by pointing the Wii Remote so you can land on the pillar with the cube. Once you see your shadow above the pillar you can use your Sailcloth. (Might take a few tries to get it right.)
Goddess Cube #4
Requirements: Digging Mitts
Location: Eldin Volcano; Just to the left of the entrance to the Earth Temple, you'll find some soft soil. Dig them up with the Digging Mitts and one of them will reveal an air geyser. Toss a bomb flower up the air geyser and it will blow up the nearby boulder, revealing a Goddess Cube.

Requirements: Digging Mitts
Location: Eldin Volcano; To the right of the entrance to the Earth Temple, there is a series of Bokoblins and small huts. There is a nearby pathway heading downward that you can follow to a Goddess Cube.
Goddess Cube #6
Requirements: Digging Mitts
Location: Eldin Volcano; In the area that is too hot, take a right and you will go down a sand slide. Ride it downward and on the right side and you'll find two air geysers. Use the first to get to the second, then use that one to get to a pillar with the cube.
Goddess Cube #7
Requirements: Fireshield Earrings
Location: Volcano Summit; In the waterfall area of the Volcano Summit, there is a ledge that you can dive off of. The cube is found behind one of the the pillars; you need to glide over to it. (Might take a few tries.)
Goddess Cube #8
Requirements: Fireshield Earrings
Location: Volcano Summit; Near the entrance to the Fire Sanctuary. Facing the dungeon's entrance, turn to the left and climb out the nearby window. Use your Clawshots on a bunch of pillars and keep doing so until you reach the cube.
Goddess Cube #9
Requirements: Song of the Hero quest started
Location: Volcano Summit; The Goddess Cube is in the room just to the right of the entrance to the summit. Once you start the Song of the Hero quest, there are floating platforms that appear and you can use one to get closer to the Goddess Cube and deliver a Skyward Strike.
Lanayru Province (Yellow Light)
Goddess Cube #1
Requirements: None
Location: Lanayru Mine; There's a Goddess Cube directly behind the tower that you land on when you first arrive in Lanayru.
Goddess Cube #2
Requirements: Hook Beetle
Location: Lanayru Desert; Located at the southwestern portion of Lanayru Desert, in the sandy region. You'll have to use the Hook Beetle to grab a bomb and drop it on the nearby Ampilus. You'll have to run across the sand and onto its shell so that you don't run out of stamina; then you can just run across to the cube. Alternatively, you can get to the other end of that pool of sand, go around and to the left to get at a higher elevation, and then just drop down to the cube.
Goddess Cube #3
Requirements: Hook Beetle
Location: Temple of Time; There is a mine cart that you have to activate using a Timeshift Stone. Ride the cart and you will pass right by the cube. Use your Skyward Strike when the cart is next to the cube.
Goddess Cube #4
Requirements: Clawshots
Location: Lanayru Desert; Found in the northeastern portion of Lanayru Desert. You'll have to blow up a crack in the wall in the northeastern part of this region and then pass through the narrow corridor behind it. To get to the crack, you'll have to walk along a path submerged in sand that you can find with your map. Once you get to the end of the corridor, use your Clawshots to get to the cube.
Chest Location: An island in the northeastern sky, just northwest of Beedle's Island. You'll need to swim through an underwater tunnel to get to the chest.
Chest Contents: Heart Medal
Goddess Cube #5
Requirements: Clawshots
Location: Lanayru Desert; Just to the southwest of the Lanayru Mining Facility, on one of the higher platforms. You'll need to Clawshot up to it.
Chest Location: An island in the southwestern sky, just northwest of Fun Fun Island. Once you get on the island, you'll have to climb down some vines to get to the chest. The vines are rather hard to see if you're not facing them, which you can only do if you Clawshot some vines on the ceiling of the partially caged half of the island. Once you know where the vines you need to climb down are, stand next to them and press A to "Drop Down" and grab onto them, at which point you can climb to the chest.

Goddess Cube #6
Requirements: Clawshots
Location: Lanayru Sand Sea; At the north end of the Lanayru Sand Sea. You'll have to use the Clawshot on one of the boxes in order to reach a cavern filled with Arachas that has a Goddess Cube in it.
Chest Location: Skyloft; Inside the Bazaar.
Chest Contents: Gold Rupee
Goddess Cube #7
Requirements: Clawshots
Location: Lanayru Sand Sea; Found on a pillar at Skipper's Retreat. When you reach a Quadro Baba, look to the left and you'll see a pillar with some vines.
Goddess Cube #8
Requirements: Clawshots
Location: Pirate Stronghold; After completing the Pirate Stronghold mini-dungeon and getting back outside, turn around. You will see a Clawshot target above the door. Claw on over to it and then to another target. Run ahead and you'll see the Goddess Cube.
Goddess Cube #9
Requirements: Song of the Hero quest started
Location: Lanayru Gorge; During the quest when you reach Lanayru Gorge, you'll find a Goddess Cube off in the distance at the south end of the map. It is located right near the tree seedling.
If you followed this all the way through you should have all 27 of the cubes. Now head to the sky and find yourself your 27 Goddess Chests. (Most of the chest locations and contents are left for another person to add.)
