Question from Lord_Hemlock
"Umbrella" and other typed in codes?
I remember from the original game that if you get a certain item you can type in umbrella and kill all the bats in a room. Maybe I'm thinking of something else. Either way, there are various parts of the old game that require you to type a password or some passcode in order to do something in the game, such as the Maze of Galious section.
So here's the question: How did they alter that in the Wii version? Did they cut out those sections entirely or what? Or did they replace the passwords with some other actions that need to be preformed? Just curious.
They cut out the umbrella thing.
The main keyboard use was the mantras, which had to be entered via keyboard in the original. This has been replaced by a software which opens a Mantra menu. You 'equip' a specific mantra in that menu, then use the Djed Pillar item to chant the mantra.
