From ramza-

Really never thought I'd be writing a guide on GameFAQs. Whenever I thought
about it, the FAQ itself never came into fruition. But while I was talking to
my bestest friend and since we were all excited about the Kirby game and had
zealously preordered our game in the summer when the game when it had been
announced long before its release, she had this great idea that we should
consider writing a guide.

Lack of experience might have been one of the reasons that I hadn't done the
ordeal of a FAQ on my own. But a collaboration made it an easier task for me.
Understandingly, she was patient and helpful, even when I was behind a lot
during the whole deal. But I really had a lot of fun writing up this guide.

Since the beginning, I have been a big Kirby fan and the announcement of our
friendly little puffball having his game on the Wii was fantastic. Even the
removal of Copy Abilities wasn't too bad, because I was excited to see Kirby.
I had wondered what Good-Feel developing the Kirby Wii game would do to the
end product. When the trailers came out, I was impressed.

Not only do I get to play with Kirby, but I get to explore and adventure and
dive deep into the world of fabric. There is lots to hear and see and just
imagine the possibilities of this stitch in gaming history. Have lots of fun
saving the world with Kirby and his Epic Yarn! It's really, really fun!

From Piper-

Suggesting we team up to play through Kirby has been a fun experience for me.
The way we're just working off each other is fun, and my first time collabing
a guide, with a great friend to boot.

Regarding the game itself, it has a certain Kirby feel to it, despite Kirby
forgoing his signature copy ability. I guess a player can think of it as an
indefinite Throw ability, or even Suplex ability from KSS(U). The lack of any
real danger, from deaths or whatnot, doesn't feel like a huge deterrent when
exploring the game world, since Kirby never really was supposed to be this
grand, challenging type of deal. It's meant to be explored, with the whimsy
inherent in the area, even harkening back to the GB/NES days. Pretty much
love the feel of the domain, with textures and fabric seemingly come to life.

Moreover, it's just fun to marvel without the "fear" of dying. This may be
one of the first platformers I can recall where, for me, the background of the
realm was looked at as much as the foreground, where most of the action is at.
Enjoy the experience, and hope you have just as much fun, too!

Q: What do the Bonus Stars do?
A: There are three Bonus Stars hidden in each non-boss level. The pink 2-Star,
the pinker 3-Star and the red 5-Star. Each star represents 100 beads. At
the end of the level, Kirby will pull on a bell on the spinning wheel. The
bonus stars that you collect will show on the wheel and if the arrow lands
on the bonus section, it will be added to your total beads. This is helpful
for when you are short a few beads for a Gold Medal.
   2-Star Bonus Star: 200 Beads
   3-Star Bonus Star: 300 Beads
   5-Star Bonus Star: 500 Beads

Q: I'm missing five fabrics and finished everything. What do I do?
A: Once you've completed every apartment mini-game, each of Kirby's friends
will randomly visit Kirby's Apartment, triggerable by completing a stage.
When they come for a visit, bring Kirby into Kirby's Apartment to talk with
the visiting friend and gain the friend-specific fabric.

Q: What should my completion percentage be if I didn't buy anything?
A: 88% total completion, with 51% Stuff and 59% Fabric.
Everything else should be listed at 100%.

Q: How many beads will I need to collect to get 100%?
A: 10,000 beads for the first Apartment upgrade.
25,000 beads for the second Apartment upgrade.
30,000 beads for Loomis Woole's entire Fabric inventory, of 73 pieces.
79,800 beads for Chaise Woole's entire Stuff inventory, of 81 pieces.
For a grand total of 144,800 beads.

Insert the game disc into the Wii, load it up and create the save file. Let
the title screen load up, choose an empty file and treat yourself to a story
about Kirby swallowing what he thinks is a Metamato.

Start up the game and welcome to Patch Land. There's a bit more story after
the castle, and get the first Magic Yarn.

Head to right, taking cues from the signboards for the controls, like jumping
and swimming. Yarn up the water enemy droplet and break the solid yarn
blocks to the right, backtracking for another to grab the star bead above.
Swim across the water and take the ladder up to the next section.

Head to the right and go into the door to get behind the fabric, coming out
through the upper door. Learn how to parachute by jumping, and then holding
down the jump button mid-jump, grabbing up the beads on the way down in the
process. Pull on the nearby button to reveal a platform and proceed to a
button you can swing on to reach the Treasure Patch on the left, with the
remainder of the level on the right. Jump, then hold down on the D-Pad to
turn Kirby into a weight to reach the floor below, crashing through the solid
yarn blocks. Finally, learn how to dash by turning into a car, reaching the
bell at the end of the stage. Yarn it to give it a ring.

After the level, head to the right on the overworld to meet Dom Woole.

Go right, crossing over a yarn bridge and passing a tree with a door patch.
Jump into the water for a star bead, then get back on dry land, pulling the
button to bring the opposite platform closer to you. Continue forward,
passing a tower, a shakeable tree with a star bead, and another tree that can
be pulled down with another star bead. Go across the building with a zipper
and continue beyond the three fountains to the castle. Rip off the door patch
to go behind the fabric, exiting in the upper right. Continue walking to the
right, passing by two Waddle Dees sleeping under a tree.

Rip off the patch to get our first transformation in the game: Tankbot Kirby.
Shoot everything up, progressing to the right until you hit the Reel Gate,
changing Kirby back to normal form. Just beyond the gate is the bell, giving
us the Butterfly patch to open up Flower Fields.

***

Treasures
#1: Pull off the Door Patch on the tree and climb up the inside of the tree
trunk. Pull the button on the right side to reveal the Treasure Patch
hidden behind the leaves. (Flower Sofa)
#2: After two trees, you'll come across a zipper that you can pull. Pull it
back and enter the underground path to find the Treasure Patch. (Fountain)
CD: Ride the third fountain to the clouds on the right. (Fountain Gardens)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Take the third of three fountains up and land on the left platform.
3 Star: Pull down the middle tower with a button and let the tower unfold
itself. Ride the platform up and jump to the left tower.
5 Star: After peeling off the door patch on the castle, climb to the upper
left side from the inside and exit up on top.

Level 2-2: Flower Fields [0202]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

The beginning of the area features some swingable buttons, but you can just as
easily walk across. Find two rolling flower beds followed by a button you can
swing on, followed by one small and one large rolling flower bed. Continue on
to find dandelions with buttons Kirby can swing on, using the higher of the
two to reach the right side and enter a rainy area. Drop below, swimming
under the wall, then climb back up to find a set of three dandelions with
buttons you can swing on. Take the dandelions up to a ladder to find our
second transformation: Saucer Kirby.

Use your Capture Beam to catch at least three yarn or enemies to charge up the
Thunder Spark, dethreading all solid yarn blocks and enemies on screen.
Charge your Thunder Spark a few times to make it to the Reel Gate at the
bottom right, revert back to normal form and ring the bell just beyond.
Claim the Alarm Clock patch, used to open Rainbow Falls.

After the stage, Dom Woole also requests Kirby to visit Apt. #102.

***

Treasures
#1: Jump to the right from the highest, largest rolling flower bed to find
    the Treasure Patch. (Flower Clock)
#2: Ride the dandelion button to the top of the rainy section. Swing across
using the frog button. (Frog Umbrella Stand)
CD: Swing across two frog buttons and peel off a patch to reveal a red ! mark.
Follow the ! to a fountain and peel off the patch. (Flower Fields)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Found just beyond Treasure 1.
3 Star: After transforming into Saucer Kirby, take the upper right path by
        activating the Saucer's attack.
5 Star: Take a third dandelion button on the left side to reach a higher
        platform.

Level 2-3: Rainbow Falls [0203]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+
----------------+----------+------------+------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Head to the right, fighting your way through the currents, until you come
across two alligators. Continue along, pulling the button to reveal the back
side of the shower curtain for some beads. Just beyond that, you'll have a
constant stream of Waddle Dees wielding umbrellas, then a stream of unequipped
Waddle Dees. Just past here is an arrow pointing toward our next Kirby
transformation, with a ladder off in the upper left for Treasure backtracking
purposes.

Change into Spin Boarder Kirby and check the sign board as the current slows
down, allowing you to test out the controls. You'll start climbing a big hill
first, with an alligator, then a few more big hills leading to the Bonus Star
items and a CD with successful jumping, and you'll run into the Reel Gate.
Just after the gate, ring the bell for the Bean patch, opening Big-Bean Vine.

***

Treasures
#1: In view above, shortly after the beginning of the area. Unravel the
bottom yarn block to make the down arrow block fall and ride the top of
this block to reach the Treasure Patch. (Rainbow Arch)
#2: After the current section, you'll come across an arrow pointing to the
right with a transformation, and a ladder in the upper left. Climb up the
ladder on the left side and jump across the alligators when their mouths
are close to reach the Treasure Patch. (Outdoor Bath)
CD: On the third and final big jump, successfully spin on consecutive enemies
to reach the CD. (Rainbow Falls)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: During the first big jump, spin on the enemy to land on the platforms.
Spin on the enemy afterwards to reach it.
3 Star: On the platform just after Treasure 1.
5 Star: Jump on the next set of platforms after the 2 Star Bonus Star item.
You'll find this at the end of the platforms.

Level 2-4: Big-Bean Vine [0204]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+
----------------+----------+------------+------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

This stage is predominately a vertical climb. Continue jumping up on the
platforms until you spot some Waddle Dees floating using their umbrellas. The
first treasure is off to the left. Jump up to the next section, where you
can stand on the Waddle Dees, who will blow up some balloons to float up to
the top. Stand on the balloons and jump in place often to keep the balloons
from deflating. Keep going up and up until we reach the next section with
more Waddle Dees floating upwards with balloons.

Alternate your jumps between the two balloon platforms on the left, making use
of the parachute ability if both balloons deflate, until we reach the top.
Yarn up the large enemy's attacks and throw them back, twice over, to open up
the door. Enter it to go behind the fabric, jump up on the right side to get
to the next door to come back to the foreground, then it's a hop, skip and
jump to the bell to end the level for the Watering Can patch, opening Fangora.

***

Treasures
#1: Near the beginning of the area, jump across the umbrellas the Umbrella
Waddle Dees are holding and peel off the Treasure Patch. (Lattice)
#2: In the second area with Balloon Waddle Dees, alternate riding the two sets
of balloon platforms on the ride, then jump to the right to find the
    Treasure Patch. (Cloud Pillow)
CD: Using the first set of Balloon Waddle Dees, fly up to reach the right side
to find the Treasure Patch. (Big-Bean Vine)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: At the beginning of the area, check the left side.
3 Star: On the left side, the area with the second set of Balloon Waddle Dees.
5 Star: Find this right under Treasure 2.

Level 2-5: Fangora [0205]

Beads Gained | 0-249 | 250-499 | 500-899 | 900-1249 | 1250
----------------+----------+------------+------------+-------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Patch

Fangora opens up with an arrow strike from his mouth. Dodge it, twirl up
the button for the first hit and enough beads to earn a Bronze Medal. After
the attack, Fangora will fly into the background; keep Kirby from moving and
when you see the yarn below start to move up, walk away in either direction
to avoid being hit.

Fangora will attempt to shoot three fire yarnballs. Yarn up the first one,
hit it into the second fire yarnball, then yarn up the third, throwing it into
Fangora's feet. Collect the beads to earn enough for the Silver medal. Avoid
the dual arrow strikes from Fangora, then yarn up the button that comes out
for a second hit and more beads to collect to qualify for Gold. Fangora will
fly into the background again.

Fangora will shoot another three fire yarnballs; repeat as in round two to
gain enough beads to qualify for the Patch. Dodge the triple arrow strike,
yarn up the button and gain the Magic Yarn leading to Hot Land, as well as
the Fangora CD. With enough beads, you open Mole Hole with the Mole patch.

Level 2-6: Mole Hole [0206]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+
----------------+----------+------------+------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

You'll be navigating through this entire area as Digger Kirby. Unwrap the
patch at the entrance, then head to the right side and dig down. Follow the
beads left and down, then use the block to squish the fiery enemy. Continue
to the right a bit, then down, until you find a giant fluff ball. Keep using
Kirby's dig attack on it to open a door to go behind the fabric.

Come out of the left door, then continue digging your way down. You'll soon
pass by the second, in plain sight treasure, and shortly after we'll find the
Reel Gate to revert Kirby back to normal. Ring the bell and we'll gain the
Firecracker patch, opening the way to Weird Woods.

***

Treasures
#1: In plain sight. After clearing the way to the door, go behind the fabric
and jump for the treasure. (Carrot Dresser)
#2: In plain sight. Shortly after getting the CD, dig a little further down
to claim this treasure. (Tree-Stump Bed)
CD: There's a set of arrow blocks after the Treasure 1 on the left side. Dig
to the left and enter the door to be sent to the CD. (Mole Hole)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After passing the first down arrow block, find this on the right.
3 Star: After passing Treasure 1, take the center path going down to a
"quicksand" area. Fall down the quicksand for a bit to find this.
5 Star: To the right of the down arrow blocks leading to the CD. You'll need
to break the first box, then quickly drop below and grab the bonus
before the down arrow blocks fall and block the path.

Level 2-7: Weird Woods [0207]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+
----------------+----------+------------+------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

This level uses Saucer Kirby up until the end; peel the patch and transform.
Once you do, the game will slowly autoscroll to the right, so no backtracking
here. Navigate around the cannons, being sure to collect enough yarn to use
the Thunder Spark, opening the way to a rotating thorn obstacle. Get in the
safe spot between the arms, noting the treasure just to the left of where the
thorny obstacle spits you out. Charge up the Thunder Spark again to open up
the solid yarn blocks and we'll soon come face to face with a Wispy wannabe.
Avoid the thorny balls and use the Capture Beam to collect three such balls,
and unleash your Thunder Spark. Do this three times to open the path and
start up the autoscroll again.

We'll be running into a few Scarfys now, so get another Thunder Spark charged
up to open a path again, now avoiding the set of rotating thorns along the
top and bottom. There's an exclamation mark after the first rotating thorn,
good for a few beads. As we get to a darker area, there's a wind pushing
Kirby toward the spiky floor, so keep tapping up on the D-Pad to protect
Kirby from damage. We'll run into the Wispy wannabe again, so repeat the
previous performance of Capture Beam->Thunder Spark thrice, then head into the
Reel Gate to revert Kirby back to normal and ring the bell.

    side. (Telescope)
#2: Encased within the blocks after Treasure #1, suck up enough enemies to
    break it. (Log Cake)

2 Star: Behind two breakable blocks. Either break the blocks or go around the
        long way.
3 Star: After the first tree enemy, it is on the left side under the line of
        orange blocks.
5 Star: Above the four yellow enemies, suck up the Waddle Dees and clear

Head to the right, passing by the two tornadoes. The quicksand moves a bit
slowly too, so you can lower yourself down to get some of the beads. Keep
going until you find a button that you can yank; doing so leads you to an
underground area. Head back above ground and keep going to the right until
you find a platform that retracts with a button pull. Down below, you'll find
some more beads to pick up, as well as a patch leading to a treasure. Soon,
you'll come across another set of tornadoes, moving back and forth on top of
quicksand. Just beyond here, we'll get a new Kirby transformation: Off-Road.

Hold the accelerate button and jump for each set of beads. Stick to the high
ground throughout. After some time, one of the opposing racers will crash
into a cactus; jump over them until you reach a big cliff to leap off of,
overtaking another racer. In this section, stick to the top, then drop down
to the middle section, then head back up top, collecting beads and avoiding
the cacti all at once. You'll soon pass the last racer, then hit the Reel
Gate. Claim your prize on the podium, then continue to the right to ring the
bell to end the level, claiming the Magic Lamp patch leading to Lava Landing.

***

Treasures
#1: Down below to the left of the yellow/orange yarn. Either ride the yarn
down or open a passage using the button. (Camel Sofa)
#2: Pull the second red button and go down the open path. At the end of the
path, detach the patch to reveal a red exclamation mark. Follow it and
pull on it at the end to reveal a treasure. (Cactus Juice)
CD: On the drive, there will be a section with two levels of platforms. Be at
the top platform at the end and jump for the treasure. (Pyramid Sands)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Pull on the second red button to go up. Find it behind the detachable
        patch.
3 Star: In the section with two nearby detachable patches, ride the tornado up
to the left patch to reveal this.
5 Star: On the drive, there will be a section of platforms with cactus
underneath. Ride with the boosts and jump to grab this.

Level 3-2: Lava Landing [0302]

Press ever onward, yarning up the bomb enemies and tossing them toward the
wall top open the way forward. When you come across a volcano with a button,
yank the opening shut to temporarily close off the lava. Eventually, you can
go either right or up, after passing the first hidden treasure. The upper
path leads to another treasure, eventually leading to where the original path
to the right goes: a new transformation.

Change into Fire Engine Kirby and put out the fires from both the enemies and
the lava plumes to gain more beads. The area itself is rather short, leading
to the Reel Gate fairly quickly. This next section has you racing the lava up
the volcano shaft. Continue jumping, pulling out platforms by yanking on the
stray buttons, and finding the last bonus star item and the CD as you near the
top. After jumping free, seal the volcano and ring the bell to get the
Boxing Bell patch, opening up the way to Cool Cave.

***

Treasures
#1: Reveal the exclamation mark next to the upside-down volcano. Follow it and
reveal the next treasure after stopping the volcano by pulling on the
    button. (Stone Lamp)
#2: Go up, instead of right near the volcano with Treasure #1. Use the bombs
to get past the block wall to get the treasure. (Cartoon Meat)
CD: In the lava-chasing section, it will be behind three blocks that can be
broken with Kirby's whip. (Lava Landing)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Seen under blocks near the beginning, use a bomb or enemies to get
        to it.
3 Star: Seen up in the bomb enemy area past the block wall. Use the volcano as
a platform or throw a bomb up in the corner where another bomb enemy
is hiding to destroy the yarn box and have the falling block come
        down.
5 Star: It is being guarded by a Waddle Dee with a spear to the right of
Treasure #3. Defeat the Waddle Dee and go up on the right side to
obtain it. Going up the left side with the treasure will cause you to
        miss this.

Level 3-3: Cool Cave [0303]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+

Twirl up the nearby button to raise the platform temporarily, using it to jump
across. Keep going, staying alert of the squishing ceiling, then fall down a
set of carpets below. There's a big enemy that you can squash by turning into
a weight, then move on, through the single yarn tunnels, with the goal being
the lower left area's exit. Twirl up the yarn here, or just jump across the
spikes and head right, hiding in the alcoves from the large, spiked ball.

Continuing on, we'll start to see some icicles falling from the ceiling. Keep
climbing up this icicle cavern until you reach the top, where you can fall
down to the next floor via a carpet unraveling. Transform into Digger Kirby
and stick to an overall upper path, so you can exit via the Reel Gate near
a Treasure Patch. Go past the blocks and ring the bell for a Torch patch,
opening the way to Dino Jungle.

***

Treasures
#1: In the maze section, drop down the falling platform and take the string
path before falling down the second platform. It should lead directly to
    the treasure. (Crystal)
#2: At the end of the digger section, be sure to take the top path, as it has
    the treasure. (Frog Mirror)
CD: You'll pass by it but it will be barricaded by blocks. Head forward and
wait for one of the big rolling enemies to drop down and whip up the
ground so it can roll past the spikes. Climb up the ladder to avoid being
crushed. The enemy will clear the path. (Cool Cave)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Above the first rolling enemy you meet. Remove the patch to reveal it.
3 Star: In the beginning of the falling icicle section, grab the blue enemy
and climb up using the falling icicle. Use the enemy to destroy the
block and it is behind the patch.
5 Star: You will see it in the double hills section. Wait for one of the hills
to pass and quickly dash to avoid being trapped.

Level 3-4: Dino Jungle [0304]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Climb on top of the dinosaur's back and twirl up the yarn to get the dino to
raise its head, allowing you to reach the upper platform. Swing on the nearby
pterodactyl's button to go even higher, leading you to a fast moving river.
Jump aboard the dinosaur's head to ford the river, then do it again at the
next stop, this time jumping on each of the dinosaurs that show up to get some
beads on top. For the third river crossing, be aware of the enemies flying
directly at you; spend the time to jump over them, rather than twirl them up
into a yarn ball to avoid taking a hit. Once you're safely across, swing on
the pterodactyl here to reach more beads up on top.

Like the rolling flower beds, this time Kirby can roll on some triceratops
heads. Make your way up the ladder, pulling the buttons on the rolled up
carpets to reach the lower level. Take the ladder on the left and continue
going to the right to find two dinosaurs chomping away near each other. Just
beyond these two lies the bell, giving Kirby the Pepper patch, leading the
way to the area boss at the Hot Wings level.

***

Treasures
#1: Underneath the dinosaurs at the end of the level, reveal the exclamation
mark behind the patch on the left next to the snail. Follow it to the
right and reveal the treasure behind the egg. (Bronto Slide)
#2: While riding the blue moving platform, jump up the multiple
backwards-facing red ones to grab this. (Torch)
CD: You will see this under the path. Go past the enemies and unravel the path
to get down below and go to your left. (Dino Jungle)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After falling down the path with the sleeping Waddle Dee. After the
salamander but before the ladder, jump to the top right to grab this
        hidden star.
3 Star: While riding the moving platforms, go up the stationary platform and
use the swinging birds to get to this. Alternatively, at the end of
that ride, wait for the moving platform to go down and jump up there.
5 Star: In the mouth of the right Dinosaur. Wait for an opening and rush in
        to get it.

Level 3-5: Hot Wings [0305]

Beads Gained | 0-399 | 400-699 | 700-999 | 1000-1599 | 1600+
----------------+----------+------------+------------+-------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Patch

At the start, Hot Wings will launch two fire bird enemies at Kirby, which you
need to yarn attack in midair and throw back at Hot Wings, exposing the loose
button for Kirby to twirl up.

Hot Wings will leave the screen and the platforms will suddenly change; get
on top of one to avoid lava damage and losing your beads from a hit. When
Hot Wings returns, it'll spit fire overhead, having balls rain down on Kirby.
Sidestep between them and Hot Wings will start streaking left and right on
the screen, with a telltale glow on the edge of the screen showing which
height the attack will come from. After the streaking, Hot Wings will launch
six fire bird enemies, where you repeat the catch and throw attack from the
first part of this fight. Twirl up the exposed button again to send Hot Wings
on a frenzy.

What happened in round two will repeat itself in a random order, so when you
have a chance to catch one of the six fire bird enemies again, do so, twirl up
the button one last time and gain the Hot Wings music and the Magic Yarn
connecting to Treat Land; with the required beads, you'll also gain the
Hourglass patch, opening up Temper Temple as well.

Level 3-6: Temper Temple [0306]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+
----------------+----------+------------+------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Transform into Fire Engine Kirby, then head to the right to ride the platform
across the lava, spraying beads and enemies along the way. On your way to the
next platform, take out the giant fire enemy for a treasure, then roll on to
the next platform. As the shaft starts going upwards, a treasure is guarded
by the second enemy.

Ride the third platform, sticking to the upper path when the platform splits
up, grabbing a bonus star item. Take the next automatically moving platform,
this one splitting itself again, taking the left path for a bonus star item.
When the platforms reconnect after the split, defeat the enemy here with your
water sprays to gain the CD. Cool off the fire jets to reach the Reel Gate
above and head over to the bell for the Candle patch, opening up Dusk Dunes.

Treasures
#1: Defeat the long monster near the white circle with the exclamation mark
and it will drop a treasure. (Pyramid)
#2: Defeat the last long monster coming out the left side while going up on
the long, golden platform. (Camel Pillow)
CD: Defeat the long monster after the left-right fork. (Quilty Square)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Up above behind the fire. Clear the fire and jump up to get it.
3 Star: In the section with two moving platforms, be on the red one to jump up
        and get this.
5 Star: In the left-right fork, take the platform moving left to get on the
        path that has this.

Level 3-7: Dusk Dunes [0307]

Beads Gained | 0-299 | 300-599 | 600-899 | 900+
----------------+----------+------------+------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Peel the patch and transform into Off-Roader Kirby. Accelerate through the
gate and the other racers will land on the course. Jump and land on top of
the two racers to take them out, the second one along a hill. Coming along
the second set of boosts, stay along the top platforms to claim a treasure.
After a double cactus that you'll need to jump over, we'll start to see
spring boards/trampolines on the road, along Kirby to reach the higher
platforms.

Boost and drive into the trampoline on the ground to reach the next treasure,
doing the same thing in the next section, with all the shifting platform
levels. After the double cactus here, boost to the top section of the area
for the CD. Shortly after, drive into the Reel Gate, claim your prize on the
podium and ring the bell to the right.

***

Treasures
#1: After passing the second driver, use your momentum to make a series of
jumps and boosts to propel yourself to this treasure. (Magic Carpet)
#2: Nearing the fourth driver, jump up and use the boost to not only pass,
but combine the boost with the spring platform to make a super jump up to
the second treasure, which you should drive right through. (Hourglass)
CD: Make a series of boost air jumps to reach the CD. (Dusk Dunes)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After passing the first driver, make your way up the platforms and
boost your way to this and the jump.
3 Star: After passing the third driver, it is at the end of the humps in the
        road.
5 Star: After Treasure #2, make a series of jumps to use another spring
platform to super jump through some blocks and to this star.

Attach some yarn to the car and pull it to the left, giving Kirby a platform
to use to jump above. To the same with the car on the other side, this time
going right. Continue on until you spot four Waddle Dees throwing around a
box, riding it up to a treasure; you can opt to go right and tug on the ducky
to reach a bonus star, further heading right. Enter the door, dropping Kirby
to the floor below and time your movements to avoid the stomping soldier's
legs. Do so again, this time with six sets of legs, making your way to the
upper right. Climb the robot and, at the top, tug on the ducky to go to the
right and ride it down the hill.

Open the door here and fall down into an area with a never ending supply of
stomping, giant robots. Ride the robot's hands and chest to keep making
forward progress until you reach a sad bear, wrapped up in a blanket. Take
the ladder down below, tug on the button to remove the blanket to see that
the bear is hurt on its foot. Climb the ladder back up, tug on the button to
heal the teddy bear, then jump up and press on. Find a new transformation in
Train Kirby, which acts like Canvas Curse, to those who've played that title,
and draw sets of train tracks for Kirby to roll upon. You can collect
boosts to power through blocks and train pieces to add to Kirby's tail, each
of which grants a star bead when you get to the Reel Gate at the far end of
the area. Just beyond the gate is the bell and the Hammer patch.

Treasures
#1: Ride the blue box that the four Waddle Dees are tossing to each other.
It will be reachable at the top. (Stuffed Bear)
#2: In the section with the six moving legs, take the upper door near the
second and third leg. Drop down and make your way through the door at the
end to remove a patch that has an exclamation mark. Follow it to the top
and remove the hat off the toy doll. (Tin Robot)
CD: During the train section, grab a boost and break the walls
    down. (Toy Tracks)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After the block throwing Waddle Doos, it's hanging out with the ducky.
3 Star: Take the Waddle Doo with you and get past the two orange machine
stomping feet. Take a secret passage to the right and break the blue
block. Pull on the patch to reveal.
5 Star: While riding the orange machines to the right, it'll be hidden behind
a block which you will need to take out with a nearby Waddle Doo.

Level 4-2: Mushroom Run [0402]

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Kirby can bounce on these mushrooms, so bounce over to the right. A jellyfish
made out of yarn appears, which can be defeated by squishing it as a weight,
but be careful since they can electrocute Kirby; they're more useful as
makeshift platforms, though. After passing the third jellyfish and an
accompanying snail, head up the ladder to go to the right via the mushroom
pendulum; a treasure is down below, before the ladder. Keep jumping from
pendulum to pendulum to reach the top.

Drop down and right and notice the new mushroom, which bounces Kirby in a
diagonal direction. Dispatch the large enemy and continue up and right.
There's a star bead in the right house, a bonus star above this house, in a
small alcove, and a treasure off to the left, near the first house. Reach
the top of the area to ring the bell for a Cake patch, leading to Sweets Park.

***

Treasures
#1: After passing the two mushroom enemies, use the bouncing mushroom to
propel to the upper-right. Ground-pound the blocks to reach the treasure
you may have seen under the bouncing mushroom. (Mushroom Bed)
#2: At the end of the swinging mushrooms, use the swinging button to go up,
rather than continuing to the right. The treasure will be in the far
upper-left corner with two purple beads. (Mushroom Lamp)
CD: In the section with the houses and mushrooms, the treasure will be on the
left hidden behind three breakable yellow blocks. Grab the snail enemy
above and throw it through the blocks. (Mushroom Run)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: In plain sight to the right of the giant mushroom enemy on the
        platform.
3 Star: During the swinging mushrooms, make your way to the right where a
Waddle Doo is walking around under a removable patch.
5 Star: In the houses and mushroom section, it will be on the right side. Use
the upper blue mushroom to bounce your way there. It will be behind
        a removable patch.

Level 4-3: Sweets Park [0403]

Beads Gained | 0-449 | 450-899 | 900-1349 | 1350+

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Undo the zipper on the top piece of cake to go below for some beads, then go
to the right, jumping across the rolling crullers to reach some rolling
donuts. Climb up the ladder and safely move across the flan; note that they
can be obliterated by crushing them as a weight. Keep moving through the flan
area, eventually reaching a set of conveyor belts, churning out flan. There's
a treasure in the top left corner. At the end of the conveyor belt section,
climb up the ladder and cross two donuts with bites taken out of them.

Jump across the pit with the set of rolling donuts, cookies and a few Waddle
Dees sporting umbrellas, usable as platforms. A ladder above leads to an
area where you use Digger Kirby to reach a treasure at the top of the cake.
Going beyond that ladder, the first donut here has a bite taken out of it
which Kirby can use to get to a CD to the left, below that first platform.
Continue jumping across donuts and cookies, rolling about in the air, and
then ring the bell to gain the Candy patch to open Melody Town.

***

Treasures
#1: Once you reach the top of the dessert conveyor belt, use the top most
dessert to jump to the top-left corner, where the treasure is hidden.
    (Donut Pillow)
#2: Go up the ladder during the spinning donuts in the air and follow the path
to become Digger Kirby. Unfortunately, while you will see the treasure,
Digger Kirby cannot get it. Clear out only the top lines of each section,
so you can make the jumps upward as normal Kirby after switching back.
Make your way to the top to get the treasure. (Dessert Dresser)
CD: After passing the ladder up to Digger Kirby, the treasure will be below in
sight. Go inside the spinning sprinkle donut to the right and make the
jumps to the treasure. (Grass Land)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: It will be visible by the third dropping dessert. There will be a
small breakable block in the center. Pound through the dessert and
block to find it surrounded by beads.
3 Star: After taking the ladder up to the spinning sprinkled donuts, make your
way to the top-left for a removable patch.
5 Star: As Digger Kirby, reveal the patch in the lower-left corner of the
clouds. Use normal Kirby to retrieve it.

Level 4-4: Melody Town [0404]

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Going across the piano keys and jumping on the drums produces notes with beads
attached. Head to the right and enter the trumpet, landing on each note for a
star bead. Go past the triple set of cymbals, checking the pit with the drum
just after for a treasure. Kirby will come across a harp next, which produces
more music notes with each string, making beads pop up too. Heading all the
way to the right of the harps leads to another treasure; backtrack to the
upper left, entering another harp for another chance at a star bead.

Dash across all of these pianos for beads, then tug on the button to use the
accordion. Do this to the next accordion for the CD, then continue to the
right; head into the trumpet and hit all the notes again, run across the piano
for even more beads, then hit the bell for the Air Pump patch.

***

Treasures
#1: Just after the section with three drum cymbals, there will be a drum that
is moving up and down. Jump over to the right and find the treasure.
    (Toy Piano)
#2: Move right past all the harps, to find the treasure in the lower area.
    (Clef Tree)
CD: Pull down the second accordion and ride the drum up, jumping on top of the
accordion before it goes back up. The treasure will then be in reach.
    (Melody Town)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: In the section with three drum cymbals where the Waddle Dees are
hopping, it will be above the second one. You can hop off from the
        highest one to reach it.
3 Star: An enemy is guarding a removable patch that contains this after you
        pass the first harp.
5 Star: After the two accordions, jump up the drum cymbals to find it hidden
behind some blocks. Use your whip to take out the blocks and hop up in

Squashini has four attacks, choreographed by the slot machine.
Hats: Squashini will hide in one of the three hats. Pick the correct hat
and Squashini will be stunned, allowing you to tug on the button on
his forehead. Choose wrong and you'll either unleash a set of fire
yarns or a rolling thorn enemy.
Card: Squashini will throw the first set of cards along the floor, with
the safe spot furthest away from Squashini. You can pick up a card
and throw it at Squashini here to end the attack, otherwise, those
cards disappear and cards will fly horizontally at Kirby in various
formations. Repeat on the opposite side.
Flag: Squashini will balance a bomb along the top of the cape, then will
start to rain bombs down on Kirby. Yarn up one bomb and wait for
Squashini's barrage to be over, then hurl it at his face.
Yarn: The curtain closes and Kirby ends up wrapped in yarn. Wiggle free
by moving the D-Pad around and tap the 1 & 2 buttons, then start
ringing the bell above you for beads. Collect them and avoid the
center of the stage as the fuse shortens. Squashini seems to be safe
from attacks when this pops up.
Attack Squashini three times to end the battle, gaining Squashini music and
opening the way to Water Land; with enough beads, gain the Cookie patch to
get access to Cocoa Station.

Level 4-6: Cocoa Station [0406]

Train Kirby is used for this level. Collect the train piece in the yarn block
ahead, then boost through the flan for the bonus star piece. Navigate Kirby
to the ! and chase it for the star bead. Pass through the donuts, collect the
treasure in the upper portion of the screen and hit the switch to open the
gate. Boost through the flan to pick up another piece, hit the lever to grab
the bonus star and hit all of the levers as they open up for another treasure.

Grab the star bead before raising the gate, then boost to the left in the
next area for a lever, while boosting to the right for another train part.
Hug the bottom of the screen to run through a ! to get beads to appear, then
hit the lever. Below the gate, grab the last bonus star piece, then boost,
hit the gate to get through to the next area. Continue boosting through all
the yarn blocks, grabbing the CD at the end of this section. Pass through the
Reel Gate and ring the bell beyond, claiming the Chocolate patch.

Go right, into the torch-lit manor. A light ball hides near the entrance, to
help see the way; they do dim in time, however. There's a ladder going up,
just before a button with the torch, leading to a treasure. Keep pressing on
until you come upon stairs leading over to torches that are activated by a
pull of a button; on the stairs leading up to the left, there's a bonus star.
Keep going up, yarn up the enemy to light the way to a yarn block you can
break in the upper right corner. Follow this path all the way around to a
second treasure. Head back to that block and use the weight to crash down to
the floor below. On the second drop down, head left twice to find the bonus
star. Continue on to go outside.

Crash down into the watery section below. Collect beads both above and below,
making use of the enemies in the area to break through the yarn blocks. Jump
up to dry land at the end of the section, then jump across some fireballs
circling around the platforms. Activate the torch to light the way to the
spiderweb platform and take it up. Continue on to a torch with a swing button
above it and swing left, following the ! to collect the beads to the CD. Head
back and take the pit down after the button activated torches to find the last
bonus star, then backtrack up and follow the path to the bell.

and take the first left to grab the ! as well as luring the yarn enemy away
from the beads. Take the left path, grabbing the beads, going down and take
the teleport, dropping Kirby out of a cloud in the upper left area. Wake up
the sun and drop through the clouds on the left. The turtle on the left hides
a bonus star below, then continue on to open umbrellas to make platforms or
just swim to the right. After making the jump down a hole, you'll see a
visible treasure on the other side of the wall. Pop open the umbrella below,
climb the ladder and claim that treasure. From here, jump off to the right,
or if you didn't pick up the treasure, wait for the water level to rise and
continue on through the level.

Crash through the yarn block to get under the Gordos to grab a bonus star,
then head back topside. There's a continual wave section for Kirby to swim
through. A bonus star lies here, as well as a CD near the end, after jumping
for it from the right side, using the wave's apex. Just past the CD lies the
bell; ring it for the Whistle patch, opening Blub-Blub Ocean.

Jump in the water and go right, collecting the beads below the current blocked
off by the yarn blocks. Past here, there's an island with a treasure above,
with jellyfish swimming around in more currents to the right. At the end of
the jellyfish section, there's four currents, going left and right, with a
bonus star in plain sight. Head below the currents to reach a sea anemone
area, leading up to a strong current going right.

Transform into Dolphin Kirby, using the Surge Attack to swim through the rings
to collect beads. Keep going to reach a waterfall section, dropping down to
the right to reach another sea anemone area. Swim through to reach another
water current area and get spit out near a basketball hoop with balls on the
surface. Use Dolphin Kirby's play ability to shoot the balls in for some star
beads and a treasure, then continue to another water current cavern, with
hoops to swim through for bead collection. Cross into the Reel Gate, ring the
bell just beyond and gain the Hoop patch, opening Secret Island.

a red ! to follow; it attaches to the fossil to the right, giving Kirby a
platform to reach the treasure above.

up with balloons. To the far left, find a bonus star, making sure to clear
the top blocks from behind first; to the upper right of the section, find a

Yarn up and throw the tentacles back at Capamari. This will yield a maximum
of 1000 beads, and any attacks beyond that will result in no beads spilled.
After collecting those beads, start to yarn up and unravel Capamari's cap.
Do this twice to completely unravel the cap, causing Capamari to get angry.

During the second phase, Capamari will shoot ink to obscure Kirby's view, then
launch a triple tentacle attack. Avoid it by swimming out of the way, then
a few mini Capamaris appear. If they start to dance in a circle, remain in
the center to avoid their attack; else, go in between their vertical attacks.
Yarn up at least one of the mini Capamaris before they launch into an attack,
though. After the mini Capamaris clear out, watch the four vases for the one
where Capamari's eyes show up, then throw the yarn'd up mini Capamari to stun
and have Capamari drop beads. Yarn attack Capamari's nose and collect the
beads, avoiding the linear attacks either vertically or diagonally from the
vase Capamari ducked into. After Capamari calms down, repeat the second
phase of the battle once more, and after attacking Capamari's nose a second
time, open up Snow Land, claim the Capamari music and open up Boom Boatyard
with the Treasure Map patch with the requisite bead total at the end.

Kirby will be on auto-scroll as soon as you move to the right. At the end of
the long row of yarn blocks on the upper level, you'll run across a bonus
star. Just shortly after this, Kirby will run into a treasure. Grab the
swingable button on the second boat after to find another bonus star. We'll
be running into the first large pirate ship. Climb your way up to the very
top and yank on the button by the flag to find the CD.

Go ahead and drop down and continue jumping across the smaller boats until you
come across a ladder with a long set of yarn blocks here. Take the small
group of platforms up to find the last bonus star. The next few boats will be
taken out by large missiles, as opposed to the small bombardment of missiles
Kirby had to dodge up to this point. We'll approach yet the second giant
pirate ship. Again, stick to the top, swing across using the button and grab
the last treasure in the flag. A cannon-type enemy awaits Kirby at the end
of the auto-scrolling portion; yarn up the small missiles and throw it back
at the enemy three times to continue, avoiding the giant missiles it'll use
to attack with from time to time. Ring the bell and gain the Wrench patch,

Treasures
#1: Make your way past the rolling snowballs. Jump up and you'll see it in the
upper-right. Use the swinging button to get to it. (Big Bear Bed)
#2: Make your way past the big snowball after clearing the second set of
orange blocks with a pound. Use the pits to avoid being hit and go into
the door of the small tower. Make your way up and to the left, using the
swinging button to get across. The treasure will be in a cove to the upper
    left. (Penguin Mirror)
CD: When you reach the yellow door, peel it off and jump up to the top of the
background. Come back to the foreground as the snowball is under the door.
Stay atop the snowball until you get to the platform at the end, where the
    treasure is waiting. (Snowy Fields)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Right the giant snowball to the right, careful not to fall. Jump up to
the platform with the blue beads and follow it to the star.
3 Star: Make your way up where the Chillys are. Use one of them to break the
block in the upper right to get the star.
5 Star: In the section with multiple Waddle Dees throwing snowballs, make your
way to the top, where you will see a swinging button above the
upper-most Waddle Dee. Swing across to the left for the star.

Level 6-2: Cozy Cabin [0602]

Beads Gained | 0-599 | 600-1199 | 1200-1799 | 1800+

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Climb the ladder and head up the tree. Swing to the right and turn Kirby into
a parachute to ride the air current to the top. Head down this next chimney
and note the screen shaking, signifying the ceiling coming down. Sprint to
the opening on the right, then stay near the top to find the treasure and drop
below for the bonus star. Exit the house in the lower right and climb up the
next tree. Peel off the door patch, head inside and fall through the
chimney. A bonus star is below the solid down yarn blocks, so sneak in to
grab it before the blocks fall. Grab the next treasure by throwing a piece
of yarn up on the bottom floor, then unpeel the door patch and fall down the
shaft with the air currents.

Go right to another tree, swing up to the right and grab some beads in this
second tree. When done, enter the door and we'll be approaching the third
house, this time with a rising floor, as opposed to a falling ceiling. The
second door on the left houses the bonus star, but keep on climbing up the
house's platforms. When you come across four solid down blocks supported by
yarn blocks over a bed of spikes, climb the ladder to the left and jump to the
right, using the double air currents, to open a path to the Treasure patch
holding the CD. Continue climbing up from here, ring the nearby bell and gain
the Spool patch to open Mt. Slide.

***

Treasures
#1: When you get inside, quickly make your way down and to the left through
the block to get it. (Fireplace)
#2: In the second cabin, above the bow and arrow Waddle Dee, break the block.
Use the revealed ladder to get up to the treasure. (Chimney)
CD: As you go up in the third cabin, it will be behind breakable blocks on the
right side. Use your whip on them and make your way through to get the
    treasure. (Cozy Cabin)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After the first treasure, lift the bridge and go down. Wrap up the
breakable block into a ball and destroy the blocks that have moved
down. Quickly grab the star and continue along your way.
3 Star: In the second cabin, pound on the blocks that fall down. Then you will
be able to reach the star.
5 Star: In the third cabin, it will be on the left side as you go up.

Level 6-3: Mt. Slide [0603]

Beads Gained | 0-599 | 600-1199 | 1200-1799 | 1800+

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Transform into Spin Boarder Kirby and we'll be on auto for the rest of the
stage. There's a bonus star after a big spring-like mushroom, then another
bonus star in the first cave with falling icicles. Continue grabbing the item
that grants Kirby wings and jump in the center path, just below a ! to land
right into the CD. Continue sliding along the top row and spin off of a
Bronto Burt to grab the treasure.

Enter the second cave with falling icicles and continue grabbing the wing
granting items. You'll need it to grab the treasure after exiting this cave
section. Keep flying up with spin moves to grab a bevy of beads and follow a
trail of beads down to land on the last bonus star, running into the Reel Gate
at the end. Ring the bell and gain the Snowflake patch.

***

Treasures
#1: Use the icicles in the second cavern as platforms. Grab the power-up and
use it to reach the platform with the second powerup. Combine all your
available jumps and power spins to where the beads are guarding the
    treasure.

To be more specific, jump onto the first icicle, then hop over to the
third icicle, allow Kirby to fall down to the fourth icicle, jump and spin
to the powerup, landing on the sixth icicle, jump to the eight icicle,
jump to the star bead and use your power spin to the platform with the
next powerup. After all that, use the power spin to get the treasure.
    (Snowman)
#2: After the area with the disc, continue taking the higher road. At the end
will be a Bronto Burt you can spin off of and grab the treasure before the
    cavern. (Knit-Cap Sofa)
CD: After clearing the first cavern, grab the powerup and use your power spin
to make your way to the higher route. Grab the next power up but do NOT
jump up to the higher platform. Instead, make a regular jump to go under
it where the big star bead is, then use your power jump to grab the disc
that is underneath the higher platform. (Mt. Slide)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After the two consecutive trees, use your spin attack on the flying
Bronto Burt and grab the star.
3 Star: In the first falling icicles section, use the falling icicles as
platforms to grab this at the end of the cavern.
5 Star: After the second cavern, it will be in the lower section after a
rising tree. Jump and power spin to get it.

Level 6-4: Frosty Wheel [0604]

Beads Gained | 0-599 | 600-1199 | 1200-1799 | 1800+

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Dash to the right to have Kirby change into a sled, rather than a car. Use
the slide to fly up the ramp, then do it again at the second ramp, latching on
to the button and parachuting to the lower right to a treasure. There's a
bonus star found by sledding under a platform after the ice geysers. Jump
across the ice cubes floating on the water, climb up the carousel, using the
second carousel to reach a treasure to the left. Just beyond this area, at
the left most ice geyser, is a bonus star.

Continue right and navigate around the ice geyser on the carousel, up on the
platform and use the two carousels below to get across, avoiding the ice
geyser shooting down. Grab the nearby Chilly to break the block above the
right most carousel here to claim the CD. Continue on, beyond more geysers,
then go in the water with the floating ice cube. Dash right, changing Kirby
into a sled, and collect a bunch of beads. Sticking to the upper path leads
to the last bonus star and keep sliding and jumping the pits to reach the
bell and pick up the Diamond Dust patch.

Treasures
#1: After the curtain in the second upward slope, run and jump past the water
with the shark to get the treasure. (Snow Clock)
#2: It is below after you reach the snowflake wheel and the arrow pointing
forward. Use the snowflake wheel to get to it. (Snow Globe)
CD: During the snow smoke area, roll up one of the Chilly enemies. Make your
way across the second set of snowflake wheels, avoiding the freezing
smoke. Up above the snowflake wheel past the smoke coming out of the
ceiling is a treasure chest. Use your ball to break through the blocks.
There is an enemy right below this snowflake wheel if you need it.
    (Frosty Wheel)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After the smokey snow, dash to the end through the narrow platform to
        get to the star.
3 Star: After clearing the snowflake wheels, it will be above the first smoke
of snow at the top of the platforms.
5 Star: After passing the water with the sharks, there will be a slippery
slope lined with Chillys. Take the higher route with the star at
        the end.

Level 6-5: King Dedede [0605]

Beads Gained | 0-599 | 600-1199 | 1200-1799 | 1800-2399 | 2400+
----------------+----------+------------+-------------+-----------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Patch

King Dedede initially starts with two attacks.

Hammer: King Dedede will jump, then swing the hammer, crashing it into
the ground. Upon impact, two stars made of yarn pop out; lasso
one up with Kirby's yarn whip and toss it at King Dedede.
Slide: King Dedede will rear back in the air, then rush down at Kirby
in a diagonal motion, sliding into the corner. Dodge out of the
way to avoid being damaged. Kirby can jump and crush King
Dedede to reveal the puppet strings, but will not yield any
              beads when damaged this way.

After hitting King Dedede and spilling beads all over the level, jump on
King Dedede's back and yarn whip a button to free one of the puppet strings.
A new attack gets added to the attack pattern repertoire.

Shockwave: Gordos appear overhead, then begin to fall. Navigate Kirby to
stand in a safe spot between the falling Gordos, then King
Dedede will send a shockwave along the ground. Either jump and
avoid the shockwave or use Kirby's yarn whip to turn the
shockwave into a throwable yarn ball to attack King Dedede.

As before, throw a yarn ball, jump on top of King Dedede and yank on one of
the buttons holding the puppet strings to collect more beads. The Hammer
attack gets an added function here: after pounding the ground and the stars
pop out, King Dedede will begin spinning the hammer and bouncing around the
room, in an attempt to attack Kirby. Additionally, the Slide attack pattern
moves faster across the screen.

With two puppet strings remaining, catch another attack and stun King Dedede.
Jump on his back, but this time drop down by turning into a weight to have the
buttons holding the puppet strings appear on screen. Yank another puppet
string free, changing the Shockwave attack pattern slightly; two sets of
Gordos will fall, then the shockwave will travel across the ground. Catch
one last yarn ball, squish King Dedede using a weighted Kirby and tug the last
puppet string free, gaining the King Dedede CD and opening the path to
Space Land in the process; pick up the Penguin patch with enough beads.

Level 6-6: Frigid Fjords [0606]

Beads Gained | 0-599 | 600-1199 | 1200-1799 | 1800+
----------------+----------+------------+-------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Kirby will be transformed into Off-Roader Kirby for the level. If you're
going for the medal, it's easier to avoid the majority of the treasures and
instead grab the sparse beads and bonus stars away from where the treasures
lie. With that, take two jumps and avoid the ice crystals on the ground.
Drive down the big hill and find a bonus star by jumping off the collapsing
ice pillar. Drive across the water and take the upper path, boosting over
and jumping off the collapsing ice pillar for treasure or falling off the
pillar for beads. Pass two Waddle Dees, jumping over the stone pillars and
use the boost to get the treasure on the upper path or drop below for bead
collecting. Drive through some water again and enter a cavern.

Jump across the falling icicles and during the portion with icicles creating
a flat platform to drive across, the lower path leads to a star bead, the
center path leads to a bonus star and the upper path leads to beads and a
large jump. All paths lead outside, with the CD on the lowest path, where
you need to boost through the stone pillars. By boosting on top of the
stone pillars and taking the path above, you can, instead, grab the bonus star
item. In both cases, boost through a few hills, grabbing beads, then run into
the Reel Gate. Claim your prize by tugging on the button on the podium, ring
the bell and gain the Holiday Gift patch.

***

Treasures
#1: Jump up to the upward slope lined with red beads. Boost to the next
platform with the treasure. (Penguin Chest)
#2: After some hills and boosts, make the boosted jump onto falling ice
platforms that are connected with beads. At the end of all the platforms
will be a treasure that is a bit hard to see. (Sleigh)
CD: After the icicle cavern, use the boost to go through the three rocks,
rather than above it. Follow the middle path where the orange beads are
going and make the jump to the treasure.
[If you go through this path, you cannot get the 5-Star] (Snow Land)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After going down, jump to grab the red beads and jump again to get the
second set of red beads and the star.
3 Star: At the end of the icicle cavern, be on the lower section and jump up
to the middle platform to get this star.
5 Star: After the icicle cavern, use the boosts and jump up to stay on the
upper region. At the end of the upper route will be the star that you
must jump to [if you get this, you can't get the third treasure].

Level 6-7: Evergreen Lift [0607]

Beads Gained | 0-599 | 600-1199 | 1200-1799 | 1800+
----------------+----------+------------+-------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Continue to tug on the yarn to wind up the platform, letting the platform move
automatically up. There's a bonus star to the left, behind solid yarn blocks.
Passing through an area with Dandans and Chillys, there's a treasure on the
left side, too. Again on the left, there's another bonus star. Changing
things up, the second treasure is on the right, where three Waddle Dees are
throwing cotton balls. Back on the left is the last bonus star. Just beyond
this, there's the CD treasure on the right. The star above the yarn string
Kirby's been pulling will spin, signifying the very top of the vertical shaft.
Jump up the platforms on the left and ring the bell.

Treasures
#1: It will be behind blocks on the left side. Use an enemy to break through.
    (Holiday Tree)
#2: On the right side behind some blocks. Either use an enemy or get trapped
in the snowball to break some down. (Star Wreath)
CD: On the right side guarded by some Waddle Dee throwing snowballs.
    (Quilty Court)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: On the left side behind blocks you can whip out.
3 Star: On the left side above a Waddle Dee throwing snowballs.
5 Star: On the left side after the snowball section, under a horned enemy.

Peel off the door patch and let the elevator carry Kirby up to the top. Jump
on the roller coaster and collect beads along the way; jumping on the platform
leads to a bonus star, where Kirby will need to jump off to the right or wait
for another roller coaster to come around to reach the next door. Peel off
the door patch and ride the elevator up to an area with swinging platforms
held in place by UFOs. A few UFO type enemies appear after the conveyor belt
with the Waddle Dees; take one of these enemies over as a yarn ball to break
the yarn down arrow blocks to continue. Bring another enemy as a yarn ball
into this next area, tug on the button to turn the electricity off for the
time being, then throw the enemy into the yarn block above, opening the way
to a Treasure patch.

Continue climbing up the shaft, passing a conveyor belt going to the upper
left with Waddle Dees falling out. We'll be greeted with a pulley system,
where whatever side has more weight will be pulled down, with the other
platform raised up. Use these pulleys to make your way to the upper right,
with a bonus star hidden away in the left corner, utilizing the upper most
pulley. Head to the right, peel off another door and ride the elevator up to
find a patch where Kirby can transform into Saucer Kirby.

Fly around, using the Thunder Spark to unravel the yarn blocks guarding beads.
Avoid the lasers that the UFO type enemies shoot, as well as avoiding fire
geysers and Scarfys along the way. Pass through the Reel Gate and take the
nearby door. Jump across the swinging UFO platform, bringing a yarn ball
to reach a Treasure patch on the upper left, causing a solid down arrow block
to fall. Ignore it for now to grab the treasure, then use that block to turn
into a yarn strand to collect a bonus star above the long, electric platform.
Jump across the swinging UFO platforms, now shooting out fire plumes, and go
in the door to ride another elevator. One last set of roller coasters, this
time there's two that appear, and try and stay on the upper roller coaster to
reach the CD on the platform. Continue to ring the bell on the right and
claim the Plug patch.

Treasures
#1: Inside, grab one of the Waddle Dees and roll them up so you can break the
blocks hiding the treasure. Put down the ball of yarn and stablize the
wave by pulling on the button, then jump up and break through the blocks.
    (Space Monitor)
#2: After the UFO section, grab the Waddle Dee. Stabilize the wave and use the
ball of yarn to break through the block, sending the unbreakable block
through the conveyor belt. Run and jump to where the two blocks used to be
to find a narrow passage on the left. Take it and it will lead you to the
    treasure. (Space Table)
CD: During the second train-car segment, hop onto the upper train-car. Then
near the end is a ladder that you have to jump to. The treasure is
    waiting above. (Future City)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: While riding the train-car, jump up and climb the left ladder when you
see the pair of them. Continue up to find the star.
3 Star: Opposite the yellow door above the Waddle Dees and the balancing
platform, it is in the upper-left section.
5 Star: After the UFO section, grab the Waddle Dee. Stabilize the wave and use
the ball of yarn to break through the block, sending the unbreakable
block through the conveyor belt. Slip through the narrow passage, then
stabilize the next wave and go through the passage on the right. Grab
        the star above.

Level 7-2: Tube Town [0702]

Jump across the platforms, avoiding the raised sections signifying an electric
charge. Yarn up a nearby enemy and break the solid yarn block to reveal a
swingable button to the left; head across for a treasure. Head up to the next
mini-section and find a bonus star in the lower left corner, essentially above
the treasure Kirby just picked up. Head to the right, across a long electric
platform, and follow the arrow's suggestion of continuing right. Enter the
single yarn path on the left to lure the enemy into the plug, charging the
platforms. Head cross and go down, opening up the patch to reveal a red ! for
Kirby to follow to the panel on the left, netting the CD.

Drop down and unplug the far left enemy, luring it to the center plug for a
star bead, then the far right plug to activate the platforms leading up. On
the left, find a bonus star, standing on an enemy to reach the materializing
platforms above. Ride up and activate the nearby plug, duck under the
conveyor belt and swing up to the left side and duck for the other treasure.
Backtrack to the activated plug path, navigating through the Gordo filled
hallway. At the end, ring the bell and gain the Radio Waves patch.

Treasures
#1: Make your way up and grab the Waddle Doo. Break through the yellow block
with it. This will reveal a swinging button that will allow you to swing
    to the treasure. (Digital Clock)
#2: There will be a section where you will have to duck to get through the
very narrow passage with beads. Use the swinging button to go to the
upper-left and duck and squeeze under the block with the electrical
current and make your way to the treasure. (Circuitry Rug)
CD: As you go down through the electrical current that is moving up, there
will be an enemy to the right guarding a patch. Pull on that patch to
reveal an exclamation mark. Come from the bottom and go in the area with
the green beads on the left. Then ride the currents up to the now
    removable background. (Tube Town)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: As you make your way up past the swinging button, there will be an
electrical current with blue beads underneath. Just to the left of it
        is the star.
3 Star: Below Treasure #2, with the current that is moving up. It will be in
plain sight behind some yellow blocks. Use the nearby enemy to
        destroy it.
5 Star: After unhooking the plug from the socket and redirecting the enemy to
a new socket, jump up to the new moving currents so that you are above
the energy line when it makes a new current on the right-most spot.
You will then be able to reach the left side where the star is in
        plain sight.

Level 7-3: Mysterious UFO [0703]

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Pull the button to the right of Waddle Doo to lower gravity, allowing Kirby to
jump to the platform above. Climb the shaft, noting a treasure in the upper
left corner. Head all the way up and tug the button to return gravity back to
normal. Crash through the solid yarn blocks and jump across the platforms to
the right, up, then back left to find a door. Enter and tug the button to
lower gravity again.  Climb up the left side and jump to the platforms above;
the yarn blocks above hold two star beads, while the left side has a bonus
star up for grabs. Continue to the right and tug the button in the rotating
section to reveal a path to a patch hiding a red !, which you'll follow to the
top area by tugging on the rotating section's button twice; use the platform
on the left to reach the top and head to the far right to find a panel with a
treasure. Tug on the button in the top section to revert gravity, then fall
back down the shaft, rotate the section once and crash down to the lower area.

Lower gravity again via the button on the left, then tug the button on the
right to bring the platform closer; collect the star bead and ride to the
right side. Use dash jumps to jump over the pits and collect the beads all at
the same time. Do the same thing with the beads above the Gordos revolving
around the platforms, grabbing a bonus star shortly after. After the bonus
star, land on the platform protected by the Gordos and climb up the shaft to
find a Treasure patch holding the CD. To do so, jump and yarn up the Waddle
Doo on the left, then using the upward momentum, yarn up the higher Waddle Doo
on the right; repeat that process to vault Kirby to the top of the shaft.
After claiming the CD, head back down and follow the arrow to the right to
another rotating section. Pull the button once to grab a bonus star on the
left. Head back and tug the button three times to reach the platform to the
upper right, tugging on this upper button to revert gravity back to normal.
Jump down and rotate the circular section twice. Crash through the solid yarn
blocks, ring the bell and gain the Twinkling Star patch.

Treasures
#1: After passing the section where you change gravity and go up past the
Waddle Doo, make your way to the upper-left where four blocks are
blocking the path. Use your whip to dismantle them and the treasure
    is ahead. (Communicator)
#2: Pull the button in the center of the circle room to make a path to the
patch. Pull it and an exclamation mark will appear. Pull on the middle
button to move the platform in position. Jump up to it and make your way
up. Make use of your pound to land on the ground faster. At the end is a
removable background to get the treasure. (Space Food)
CD: After clearing the Gordos, but before following the arrow, if you jump up
above the last Gordo circle, you will see some Waddle Doos hanging around
up there. You'll need to make a leap and whip up the Waddle Doo. As you
may have noticed, when you use your whip on anything, Kirby flys upward
due to the gravity. Use your whip on both to get to the top, then jump
    to the treasure. (Space Land)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: After changing gravity in the second room with the moving platforms.
Make your way to the upper-left above the Waddle Doo.
3 Star: In the section with Gordos going around in circles, it will be past
the second circle. Go down to get it.
5 Star: When you get past the Gordos, grab the Waddle Doo that is stuck. Roll
it up and bring it with you. Now go into the circle and pull on the
button. Quickly grab your ball of yarn and make your exit down and to
the left. Now use the ball to break through the block and get the
star. Alternatively, you can do this with gravity back to normal.
Also, you can go through the right exit (pulling the button two
        times) and go around.

Jump across the rotating stars and planetoids, grabbing a bonus star above
the planetoid with two enemies rotating around it. Continue to a section with
asteroids falling from the sky, which can turn into beads by collecting the
! below. Swing on the rotating buttons, noting a star bead in the lower right
corner near the star platform. Climb up the ladder using the swinging button
and navigate up the rotating platforms; the top left corner houses a door
leading to a Treasure patch and beads. Exit out of this area to the right and
take this first, large rotating platform to the top. Jump to the moon on the
left, grabbing a bonus star at the top, then heading inside and swinging to
a CD treasure. Go back to the moon and continue to the right until you come
across a large planetoid with a hole in the center. At the top, find a
bonus star. Off to the lower right from the giant planetoid, find a Treasure
patch. Backtrack to the planetoid and head to the right for more raining
asteroids with a ! to collect near a button, changing the asteroids into beads
again. Jump across two more star platforms and transform into Rocket Kirby.

Beating all the enemies in a group rewards Kirby with a big bead drop. The
first wave sees Buttonflies on the left, then the right; next, they'll fly up
from both sides and fly down, followed by a double set through the middle.
Two UFO enemies appear, then three UFO enemies, followed by more Buttonflies.
Another paid of UFOs appear, then a large jellyfish, two UFOs and finally two
jellyfish. A short reprieve, then a line of three Buttonflies on the left,
the right, then a large, scattered group of Buttonflies down the middle.
Crash through the Reel Gate and ring the bell and gain the Switch patch.

Treasures
#1: After leaving the revolving platform area and making your way to the
right, there will be a giant purple world that is spinning, along with
some rotating swinging beads you can hang on to. Grab onto one and make
your way to the lower-right, where you will find two spinning stars. At
the end of those stars is a treasure chest. (Rocket Bed)
#2: While riding on the rotating swinging buttons, jump towards the ladder.
Then make your way jumping on the rotating platforms and go through the
door in the upper-left. The treasure is to the left surrounded by yellow
    beads. (Star Candy)
CD: Following the instructions for the 3-Star, instead of going on the roof,
go through the three breakable boxes. Swing across the button to get the
    treasure. (Stellar Way)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: It is above the purple-colored world with buildings. Use the tallest
building to jump up to the beads and star.
3 Star: After exiting the rotating platform area, make your way up on the blue
circles to the moon where a bunch of UFO enemies are scouting. Take
them out or ignore them, jumping onto the star and eventually onto the
roof of the area, ignoring the breakable blocks. The star is behind a
        patch.
5 Star: On top of the giant rotating world that is near the Rocket Bed
treasure, there will be a ladder near the very top. Get on a tall
building and jump up to the ladder and climb. The star will be behind
        a patch.

Level 7-5: Meta Knight [0705]

Beads Gained | 0-649 | 750-1499 | 1500-2249 | 2250-2999 | 3000+
----------------+----------+------------+-------------+-----------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Patch

Phase 1: Meta Knight will move around the area, then fly up to shoot a wave
from his sword, directed at Kirby. Catch the wave and throw it back
at Meta Knight when he's not facing Kirby. If you miss or Meta cuts
the yarn ball down, he'll close in on Kirby, delay, then make a wide
cut, which Kirby should dodge. If you do hit Meta Knight with the
yarn ball, yarn up Meta Knight's sword for more bead spillage.
Phase 2: Exactly the same as Phase 1, except for the single diagonal wave now
comes as two waves, homing in on Kirby. Catch one, throw the yarn
ball at Meta Knight and yank on his sword.
Phase 3: Meta Knight adds two new attacks. The first is a large, fiery sword
swipe, which will hit everything in whatever side Meta Knight is
facing, except for the spot closest to the wall. After the large
sword swipe, Meta Knight will jump up and attack with a downward
sword thrust; dodge out of the way, then get ready for the homing
waves to catch and throw at Meta Knight. Yank Meta Knight's sword
away from him after the hit.
Phase 4: Same as Phase 3, except Meta Knight adds a whirlwind before the large
fiery sword swipe. Avoid it in the same spot as the aforementioned
fiery sword swipe, so Kirby isn't carried up to the ceiling full of
spikes. During the whirlwind, you can catch the wave to bypass the
wait for the triple homing waves afterwards. Once again, throw the
yarn ball at Meta Knight and take his sword away.
Gain the Meta Knight CD and, with enough beads, the Satellite patch.

Level 7-6: Moon Base [0706]

Beads Gained | 0-599 | 600-1199 | 1200-1799 | 1800+

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Transform into Tankbot Kirby. One treasure is in sight. Keep rolling along,
landing on the blocks to crush them and get to the floors below. Defeat the
canon by shooting at the center crystal to reveal a bonus star. Run over
everything, collecting a treasure by the fire plumes and destroy another
cannon/crystal combination for a bonus star. Bring Tankbot Kirby outside,
into an area with lots of asteroids, collecting a CD. There's two more
crystal/cannon combinations, then the Reel Gate beyond. Ring the bell and
collect the Shooting Star patch.

yellow beads leading to the treasure above. Jump on the ledge then float
    backwards. (Cosmic Bin)
#2: After the two fire plumes, there will be two Bronto Burts holding bombs.
The treasure will be above them. (Porthole)
CD: Up in the sky in the middle of the meteor shower. The huge one likes to
    go through here. (Tankbot)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Destroy the machine with the cannon and diamond and it'll appear.
3 Star: Destroy the second machine with two cannons and a diamond and it'll
        appear.
5 Star: Destroy the two sets of machines and it'll appear behind the second
        one.

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Transform into Rocket Kirby. Asteroids fall from the left and right, with a
bigger one falling from the center. A bonus star can be found by destroying
the righthand large asteroid in the second wave. Take out the right set of
Buttonflies for a treasure to drop, and beat the center Buttonflies for a
bonus star to drop. Beat both of the Spore Jellys for the next treasure to
drop, then the third large asteroid drops the last bonus star. Kracko appears
and just shoot him down to gain the CD as well as open the path forward to the
Reel Gate, with the bell beyond.

Treasures
#1: Enemies will start coming out of the background. Clear the four on the
right side and the last one will drop the treasure. (Saturn Stand)
#2: When the UFOs begin appearing, there will be a section with two giant
jellyfish. Defeat both to obtain the treasure. (Saturn Donuts)
CD: Defeat Kracko to obtain this. It will be right where it was destroyed
    behind the smoke. (Outer Rings)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: There will be two large meteors coming down at you. The right one will
        be holding it.
3 Star: A series of button enemies will fly from three directions. Clear the
center line and the star will appear.
5 Star: During the rain of meteors, the last giant meteor will be holding
        this star.

Activate the bomb block to reveal a door leading to a bonus star. Exit out,
activate the bomb blocks above and enter the second door, leading to a cannon
that can shoot Kirby to a treasure. Continue to the right until you run into
a Whispy cutout with Gordos popping out; grab the button to shrink Whispy
temporarily, swing on the button to the platform on the right and wait for
Whispy to reform itself, unpeeling the door patch at the top. Enter the door
and fall down, noting a bonus star on the left. Enter the cannon and shoot
Kirby straight up to a door to find a Treasure Patch. Continue to the door on
the right to get to a section with winged, moving platforms. A door on the
left leads to the last bonus star, while moving on leads to an area with
Gordos trying to make the jumps tricky. Collect the beads and peel off the
door patch; climb up this area, noting a door on the left side leading to
a CD. You'll need to break the blocks using the enemies to get there. At
the top of the area, enter the door to find double the cutout Whispys, with
dropping Gordos to boot. Tug the right hand Whispy down to continue on; the
left Whispy has a star bead at the top.

Once outside, transform into Tankbot Kirby. Roll through, blasting missiles
at the various enemies to get them drop beads, as well as navigating through
the star blocks barring the way forward. Use the expandable mushrooms to get
to high, out of the reach beads while using Tankbot Kirby's heft to break
through star blocks on the ground. Eventually, Kirby will roll right up into
Whispy's lair; shoot at the apples and puffs of smoke to avoid getting damaged
yourself, while unleashing a barrage of missiles at Whispy's face. Collect
the beads Whispy drops, enter the Reel Gate and ring the bell to gain the
Crank Handle patch.

Treasures
#1: You'll see three bomb blocks and regular star blocks up on a platform.
Pull the red button by the tree to bring another platform down closer to
the ground. Roll up a nearby enemy and hop up as the platform rises back
into its original position. Destroy the blocks by hitting the bomb and a
door will be revealed. Enter and you'll be sent below where you can enter
the spinning cannon. Just like the old Kirby games, shoot yourself through
the left side (by pressing 2 when it lines up to the left) and the
treasure will be yours. (Whispy Woods)
#2: In the spring and spikes section, you'll see a spinning cannon under
blocks and Waddle Dees. Get rid of the enemies and pound your way to the
cannon. Then shoot yourself upwards to a door. Pound your way on the
springs after entering the door, avoiding the cannonballs and going
around to the treasure. (Apple Table)
CD: After the Gordos, making your way up you'll see a door that you can access
on the left after going up, then down some ladders. In the section you can
access through the door, there will be many spinning cannons. Ride your
way up to the top-center cannon, then blast downward to the treasure.
    (Green Greens)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: Defeat the Waddle Dee and jump stomp on the bomb block. Destroying the
blocks will reveal a door like the old Kirby games. Enter and you'll
be sent underground and you'll be able to jump on the spring to reach
        it.
3 Star: After passing the Whispy Wood and making it to the springs and spikes
section, just before the Waddle Dees is a spring in the upper area.
Bounce upward and you'll see this star surrounded by beads.
5 Star: As you go up, there will be four white string platforms. Roll up a
Waddle Doo and make your way to the left, where there is a bomb block
you can hit. Behind it is a door that will lead to a hidden area. Make
your way up the strings to find this star.

Level 8-2: Tempest Towers [0802]

Beads Gained | 0-749 | 750-1499 | 1500-2249 | 2250+

For about half of the level, the wind alternates between blowing off to the
left and then blowing to the right; use that momentum to make longer jumps
for beads or accessing harder to reach platforms. So, at the start, continue
on until you find a bomb block to find a door behind; enter and jump across
for a treasure. Head back to the door and continue up a ladder. Yarn up an
enemy and use the wind to blow Kirby to the right platform above; use the
yarned up enemy to open the bomb block to find a door with a bonus star in
the left corner and a Treasure patch above. Head back out and get to a ladder
above the Shotzo for a star bead, then continue to the right for another
Shotzo and a nearby bonus star. From here, jump into the cannon and shoot
Kirby up, between two Shotzos.

In this section, the wind is constantly blowing upwards, so change Kirby into
a parachute to ride the air current up. Pass by various Scarfy, collecting
beads. At the fork, the left path has a Scarfy guarding, while the right path
has a Gordo; yarn up an enemy to activate the bomb block to press forward.
At the top, find two Waddle Dees tossing missiles; the right Waddle Dee is
standing on a bonus star, hidden behind the bomb blocks, while the left one
hides a door leading to the CD. Continue floating upwards, avoiding Shotzos
and Bombers while collecting beads. Land in the cannon and shoot Kirby
straight to the top to ring the bell and gain the Pinwheel patch.

Treasures
#1: As you make your way up with the wind, there will be a bomb block you can
hit on the left side. A door will be revealed. Pull the button and make
your way across. Above the cannon is the treasure. (Bookcase)
#2: With the 5-Star, make your way to the hidden area and destroy the bomb
blocks. After quickly running to the left to reach the 5-Star, jump up and
make your way to the upper-right where you can probably already see the
treasure. If you missed the 5-Stars and the platforms block your way, you
can still get the treasure by jumping on the platforms. (Pancakes)
CD: In the section where the wind is blowing up, opposite the 2-Star is a set
of bomb blocks on the left side. Use the Waddle Dee or bombs it is
throwing to destroy them, revealing a door. Here, you will have to make
use of Kirby's float to avoid falling. Float to go up and let go to fall
down. The wind will be blowing up so as long as you're parachute Kirby,
you'll fly upwards. The treasure is in the upper-left. Watch out for the
    Gordos. (Butter Building)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: In the section where the wind is blowing up, there will be two sets of
bomb blocks, where a Waddle Dee with bombs is on each, one on the left
and one on the right. The star will be hiding behind the blocks on the
        right.
3 Star: Making your way up past the various blocks and flags and past two
cannons, there will be blocks in the upper-right that is holding the
star. Hop into the cannon and shoot yourself to the right.
Alternatively you can use the block from under the cannon to make a
hole on the left side and when the wind is blowing to the right,
        float up into the hole.
5 Star: As you make your way up, there will be a section with three block
platforms and three flags. Roll up the nearby Waddle Dee and fly up to
the first block, then wait for the wind to blow to the right. Float to
the right side where there is a bomb block to break and reveal the
door. Use the Waddle Doo to destroy the first set of bomb blocks. Wait
for the blocks to drop and grab another Waddle Doo. Go up and destroy
the next set, quickly running to the left to grab the star.

Level 8-3: Cloud Palace [0803]

Beads Gained | 0-749 | 750-1499 | 1500-2249 | 2250+

Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Swing on the buttons at the start, jump off and latch on to the other buttons
and find a bonus star at the top. Bounce on the springy clouds, following the
beads to the top to find swinging, moving buttons leading to a Treasure Patch.
In the next area, take the upper path of fast, moving, swinging buttons to a
star bead; the safer, slower path is at the bottom. There's more springy
clouds to bounce on, then solid platforms, but don't let your guard down;
Kracko shows up, chasing Kirby with a lightning attack. Continue dashing to
the right, and if you've collected all the beads, you should have upwards of
1029 beads at this point. Follow the swinging buttons to the top to find a
Treasure Patch, with a bonus star with the next set of swinging buttons.
Get to a section with some more springy clouds and a Buttonfly, intent on
making Kirby spill beads into the void; the final bonus star is at the bottom
right corner, while you'll want to take the nearby springy cloud to reach the
top of the area.

A small reprieve where Kirby can transform into Star Shooter Kirby. Beads
should be upwards of 1339 at this point, collecting all beads without taking
out any enemies for extra beads. Keep firing as Star Shooter Kirby, breaking
through some blocks and destroying cannons. Navigate through some narrow
passageways until you come across a fork. The upper path leads to beads while
the lower path leads to the last treasure, the CD for the area. Keep the
screen autoscrolling and we'll come across a fight with Kracko. Kracko's
three attacks here will be a frontal charge, then flying to the center of the
screen and firing all around Kracko, then a horizontal charge beam. After
clearing Kracko out, pass through the Reel Gate, ring the bell and gain the
Boxing Glove patch.

***

Treasures
#1: Jump on the springy clouds and pound on the highest one to jump up
through the line of orange beads. Up there, will be a set of swinging
beads that are moving. Grab one and ride it to the treasure area.
    (Cloud Rug)
#2: After the Kracko chases you across the screen, there will be a series of
intertwined moving swinging buttons. Swing around until you can reach the
lowest one, which should take you the highest, up to a treasure.
    (Bubbly Soda)
CD: As Star Shooter Kirby, after the cannons will be a split where there will
be beads in the upper section and Bronto Burts with bombs in the lower
section. Unfortunately, the lower section contains the last treasure.
    (Bubbly Clouds)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: At the end of the second set of moving swinging buttons, swing and
jump to the star in sight.
3 Star: After Kracko and after where you would find Treasure #2, there is a
set of moving buttons high up that will bring you up and then to the
left. Make your way upward using the buttons and it will bring you to
        the star.
5 Star: After Kracko, there will be a section of bouncy, springy clouds. In
the lower-right is a patch that, when removed, will reveal the star.
Carefully hop on the clouds to reach it.

Level 8-4: Castle Dedede [0804]

Beads Gained | 0-749 | 750-1499 | 1500-2249 | 2250+
----------------+----------+------------+-------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Climb up the ladder, using the cannonball to reach the beads. There's a door
in the upper right where you need to defeat all the Waddle Dees to gain a
bonus star. Exit out, climb up on the cannonballs and take the door on the
left side to find two arrow shooting Waddle Dees; defeat them for a treasure.
Exit out and go to the right this time, shooting Kirby up via the cannon.
Jump across the platforms, avoiding the cannonballs and the spikes. Climb the
ladder up, use the cannons to reach the upper left corner and float down to
the door; inside, there's Bombers to take out for another bonus star. Go back
to the cannons, taking the center path for a star bead, while the righthand
path leads to the rest of the level. Head left, tug on the button to reveal
a door, where Kirby needs to take out the UFOs for a second treasure.

Back outside, climb up the makeshift stairs and head right for another area
with cannonballs trying to knock Kirby into the spikes. Take the last cannon-
ball up to reach a button, opening a path to a door; inside are two Sulkworms,
guarding the last bonus star. Head back out, climb up some more cannonballs,
going up the first shaft to find a star bead, while the second shaft leads to
a door on the left and the rest of the level on the right. Inside that left
door are Bombers, the two in the upper corners potentially the toughest to
take out in this room, since Kirby needs to toss them up just right; clearing
the room of Bombers gives you the CD. Head off to the right, climb a ladder
and take out a large Waddle Dee to be able to uncover a King Dedede statue.
Use the statue to climb up to a swingable button, then unzip the zipper to
reveal a cannon. Use said cannon to shoot straight up, following the bead
trails to consecutive cannons, eventually landing near the bell. Giving it a
ring gives Kirby the Bells of Joy patch.

Treasures
#1: There will be three cannons shooting discs to the left. Jump up to the
third one and ride it to the upper-left, where there is a door. Catch the
arrows to destroy the blocks and eventually defeat the Waddle Dees to
reveal an exclamation mark. You will be able to remove the picture of the
    Waddle Dee. (Castle Dedede)
#2: In the section with two spear Waddle Dees, pull the button to reveal a
door on the left side. Defeat all the enemies to reveal an exclamation
mark. You will now be able to remove the picture for the treasure.
    (Dedede's Robe)
CD: Make your way through the spikes using the discs. When you reach the
ladder, instead of going up, jump to the upper-left over the spikes. Here
you will find a door that will lead you into a room of enemies. Like all
the other rooms, beat them to find an exclamation mark. Here, you will
need to throw some of the enemies to break blocks and hit unreachable
    enemies. (Gourmet Race)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: There will be two cannons shooting discs that you can stand on. Ride
the cannon on the right and there will be a door on a platform. Enter
and defeat the Waddle Dees to reveal an exclamation mark. You will be
able to remove the picture of the Waddle Dee.
3 Star: After climbing a ladder, there will be a series of cannons. Ride them
to the upper-left and go up and around, avoiding the spikes to reach a
door. Here, defeat all the enemies to reveal an exclamation mark.
Throw the enemies to non-block platforms when possible. You will now
be able to remove the picture.
5 Star: There will be cannons shooting discs down and then one shooting up.
Ride the one shooting up and there will be a blue button you can pull.
Go up and over and go into the now revealed door. Defeat both enemies
by shooting their projectiles at them, revealing an exclamation mark.
You will be able to remove the picture for the star.

Level 8-5: Yin-Yarn [0805]

Putting Kirby up against a Fangora rematch first, follow the prior tactics
in jumping over the fire yarns and throwing it at Fangora's feet for beads,
pulling on the button and sending Yin-Yarn back on the field.

Everything's covered by a curtain of fabric. Use the buttons to jump up and
reach the door in the top left spot to free yourself, then get ready for the
second boss rematch.

This time, it's against Capamari, specifically the second round, where he's
attacking from the four craters in each corner. Grab a mini Capamari and then
roll it at his face to end this rematch. For a bead count, Kirby should have
found about 1000 beads by now.

Inside the fabric we go again, with a different pattern of buttons to jump.
Regardless, the door is in the upper right and Yin-Yarn will finally attack.
Expect two Scarfys and two cyclops-type enemies; beat them to have Yin-Yarn
give you four Buttonflies and two arrow Waddle Dees to work with. Use them
in your attack on Yin-Yarn, probably easiest with a Buttonfly's homing attack.

Livid with taking damage, Yin-Yarn will create gaps in the floor. Four Scarfy
move in, which you'll just have to dodge until they disappear, followed by two
oversized Waddle Dees and a Chilly; yarn up that sole Chilly and then have it
return to Yin-Yarn's face. If you miss, the same pattern repeats itself.
Everyone's saved, right? Well, not yet.

Returning to the field are some knitting needles, creating a Mega Yin-Yarn.
A Tankbot item drops in, courtesy of Meta Knight, so go ahead and transform.
Mash on the shoot button, aiming at Mega Yin-Yarn's mouth, and keep up the
zealous onslaught of missiles, even when the knitting needles raise the boss.
Aim a little higher, again going for Mega Yin-Yarn's mouth, letting him taste
cold love with those missiles.

Lay waste to Mega Yin-Yarn and he'll go down, dispersing beads everywhere.
Over to the right, you'll cross through the Reel Gate and enjoy the credits
under a peaceful sky. Gain the Yin-Yarn CD, the Baseball Bat patch, the
Dream Land CD and Staff Credits CD; the patch with the requisite beads.

Level 8-6: Meta Melon Isle [0806]

Beads Gained | 0-749 | 750-1499 | 1500-2249 | 2250+
----------------+----------+------------+-------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

This level is basically a revisit of various Kirby transformations. The
first transformation is for Off-Roader Kirby; a bonus star is found along the
upper path, accessed by the trampolines. Also of note is a star bead on top
of the rising ice pillars. Drive into the Reel Gate.

Transform into Fire Engine Kirby, clear out the second fire snake enemy to
reveal a treasure while collecting a bonus star in sight. Drive into the
Reel Gate.

Transform into Dolphin Kirby and collect beads. Swim into the Reel Gate.

Transform into Train Kirby and find a treasure in sight, near the bottom of
the rotating clouds. Guide Train Kirby into the Reel Gate.

Transform into Spin Boarder Kirby, the last of this level's transformations.
Taking the upper path leads to the final bonus star, and taking the top set
of rainbows near the end, right into the Reel Gate, yields the CD treasure.
Ring the nearby bell and gain the Galaxia Sword patch.

Treasures
#1: As Fire Engine Kirby, defeat the second monster coming out of the lava,
    near the 2-Star. (Palm Chair)
#2: As Train Kirby, go up the ledge on your right and follow the path to the
treasure near the ground. (Ice Cream)
CD: As Spin Boarder Kirby, it will be up before the end of the stage. As you
make your way through the stage, there will be a yellow button enemy just
before a rainbow. Spin on this enemy and land on the rainbow, which should
have a white circle with an exclamation on it. When you get this, beads
will show you your path. Follow the beads and spin jump on the various
Bronto Burts, until you reach a rainbow near the end with the treasure.
    (Ice Cream Island)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: As Fire Engine Kirby, make yourself a path by throwing water on the
lava. It will be in visible sight, jump to get it.
3 Star: As Off-Roader Kirby, there will be blue platforms with a spring. Jump
on the platform and the spring will send you up to the higher
platform. Continue on the path, using the boosts to eventually
        reach the star.
5 Star: As Spin Boarder Kirby, after getting the power-up, super jump to the
higher platform right after. Follow the path, spinning on all enemies
until after the yellow button enemies. The star will be ahead.

Level 8-7: Battleship Halberd [0807]

Beads Gained | 0-749 | 750-1499 | 1500-2249 | 2250+
----------------+----------+------------+-------------+----------
Medal Earned | Wood | Bronze | Silver | Gold

Transform into Star Shooter Kirby and the rest of the stage will be on auto-
pilot. The first wave of enemies contains Spear Waddle Dees carried by
Bronto Burts, then we'll run into the face of the Halberd. Scrolling up,
destroy the first cannon to reveal a bonus star. There's more cannons along
the ground, as well as Bronto Burts dropping missiles. The largest cannon
in this section gives up a treasure when destroyed. When the Bronto Burts
start carrying beads, you're past the treasure and will soon come across a
dual cannon that Kirby fans will recognize. Focus most of your attacks on the
lower cannon, letting the diagonal attacks hit the lower cannon when you need
to dodge the big laser attack. Dispatch the UFOs as needed and take out the
upper part of the cannon if it's not destroyed yet. Now Kirby can fly into
the interior of the Halberd.

A barrage of UFOs appear along the edges, backed up by cannons. The largest
cannon, before the yarn blocks with visible beads, will give up a treasure
upon defeat. Navigate through the fire plumes and, when the path splits up,
the upper path leads to a star bead while the lower path leads to a bonus star
which can both be picked up by taking the upper path and flying backward into
the bonus star. Next comes Bronto Burts tossing more missiles and a section
with two cannons, one on top and the other below, before another wall of yarn
blocks. The upper cannon yields the last bonus star while the lower cannon
coughs up the CD when it goes boom. Fly through to another recognizable
Halberd weapon, with two fire spewing cannons along the top and bottom edges,
and a crystal power source in the center. Focus on the lower fire cannon,
then fly up to hit the upper cannon with collateral damage. Once both are
gone, focus on the crystal center, then fly through to the Reel Gate and
ring the bell one final time.

***

Treasures
#1: Destroy the second big cannon on the Halberd. (Galaxia Sword)
#2: When you get inside the ship, destroy the first big cannon you see, after
the pairs of smaller cannons. (Knight Helmet)
CD: There will be a section with two big cannons, one on top and one at the
bottom. The bottom one holds the treasure. (Halberd)

Bonus Stars
2 Star: As Star Shooter Kirby, destroy the first cannon on the Halberd.
3 Star: After penetrating the orange blocks after the second treasure's
cannon, when you come across a split, it will be on the lower path,
between two streams of fire and surrounded by beads.
5 Star: There will be a section with two big cannons, one on top and one at
the bottom. The top one holds the star.

direct your way down. You must collect EVERY bead on screen.
 Reward: Bitter Cocoa fabric

Beadrix's Run: Fountain Gardens [1212]
 4 Star Challenge
 "Collect 200 beads in 0:20!"
Dash to the right and do not stop. Let me repeat that; don't stop dashing.
The leeway given for this level is about 1.5 seconds and 3 or so beads.
Jumping by following the bead trail and avoiding the enemies will give you
the optimal route through the mini-game.
 Reward: Brick fabric

Beadrix's Run: Whispy's Forest [1213]
 4 Star Challenge
 "Collect 250 beads in 0:30!"
There seems to be just enough beads with little leeway to reach our goal.
Jump and shoot Kirby through the cannons, going along each line of beads
between cannons systematically. Time shouldn't be a pressing issue here.
 Reward: Green Dot fabric

Beadrix's Run: Cozy Cabin [1214]
 4 Star Challenge
 "Collect 680 beads in 0:50!"
Keep jumping and collecting the beads as they appear. When the two large
starburst patterns appear, focus most of your attention on collecting as
many beads as possible from those two patterns, since they comprise the
majority of the beads available in the mini-game. As with the previous
mini-game, time isn't much of an issue, but being efficient with your bead
collection is. After the two starbursts, there's one last, fairly large
bead pattern to finish up the bead collection.
 Reward: Hot Dog fabric

Beadrix's Run: Future City [1215]
 5 Star Challenge
 "Collect 340 beads in 0:40!"
Ride the rollercoaster, collecting most of your beads on the jumps. When
a button appears, jump and swing on that to collect even more beads. Do
not land on the platform, but instead, switch Kirby into a parachute and
use that forward momentum to follow the bead trail down to collect the
   beads within the time limit.
 Reward: Chain Link fabric

Beadrix's Run: Mole Hole [1216]
 4 Star Challenge
 "Collect 240 beads in 0:40!"
Transform into Digger Kirby and dig through the cotton fluff along the bead
trails. By the time you get Kirby to the door, if you have around 10 or
more seconds remaining by the time you break through, you should be good to
go. Enter the door and speed Kirby up by digging, despite there being no
fluff to dig through, to reach the remaining beads to reach the bead goal.
 Reward: Stone Wall fabric

Beadrix's Run: Evergreen Lift [1217]
 4 Star Challenge
 "Collect 280 beads in 1:00!"
There's a Sneak Sack to the left side, just after a Waddle Doo. Keep the
lift going up by winding up the yarn ball, and with the beads that the
Sneak Sack drops, you should be good to complete the level with the
   required number of beads.
 Reward: Holiday Trees fabric

Beadrix's Run: Moon Base [1218]
 5 Star Challenge
 "Collect 350 beads in 0:50!"
Do not take a hit, otherwise Kirby won't have enough time to get the beads
required to complete this mini-game. Avoid the attacks coming in from all
sides and just collect as many beads as possible. It bears repeating for
this stage: do not take a hit.
 Reward: Planetarium fabric

Beadrix's Run: Battleship Halberd [1219]
 5 Star Challenge
 "Collect 1200 beads in 1:20!"
This is a sped up level of the original Battleship Halberd. Defeat enemies
to get them to drop beads, while avoiding all damage. Taking damage not
only causes your beads to drop off the screen, but it also reduces the time
Kirby has remaining, especially on an autoscrolling level. Keep the shoot
button held down for rapid fire near the cannons, to take them out and
collect their beads as well. You'll eventually come across a cannon that
prevents the level from scrolling forward; defeat it ASAP by rapid firing
the bottom cannon, while using the diagonal shot to hit the upper cannon,
and vice versa when the bottom cannon is about to fire. Essentially, this
is the "halfway" point, where you should have at minimum 27 seconds and
600 beads to safely collect the remaining beads in the time remaining.
Take out the UFOs before they can get a shot off, while dismantling the
cannons for their large bead to finish the level. If more beads are
needed, after the large cannon near the yarn block wall, take the upper
   path for more beads.
 Reward: Halberd fabric

Beadrix's Run: Outer Rings [1220]
 5 Star Challenge
 "Collect 1000 beads in 1:30!"
Transform into Rocket Kirby, avoid taking damage, and just shoot anything
that comes on screen. Hold the shoot button for rapid fire and emphasis is
   placed on remaining unscathed.
 Reward: Ringed Planet fabric

two umbrellas, then open the right umbrella up so you can swing your way

up and away. Then float across the spiked pit, avoiding the Bronto Burt.
Throw her up above the ladder then climb it yourself. Either on your own or
with the Waddle Dee's spear, break through the blocks and make it across.
Break the blocks blocking the ladder and throw her up before climbing the
ladder. Float up to the exit and run to the chair and toss her onto it.

back on the string, most likely. Then go back up, swinging on the bead and
make your way back to Carrie. Make your way up with Carrie up the platform
and string and you'll make your way to the chair.

Bring Carrie with you, floating to the right. Jump up the platforms and

to the right again, throw Carrie up and climb the ladder. Continue left
with Carrie and move up the platforms again, making your way to the
cannons. Wait for the wind to blow to the right and jump over the cannon,
landing on the flag. Jump again and continue towards the next cannon. Put
Carrie down to whip the block out of the way, then grab Carrie and continue

 4 Star Challenge
 "Defeat 70 enemies in 1:10!"
Do not take a hit, otherwise the time loss will prevent Kirby from getting
to an area to clear out the remaining enemies needed to hit 70. Transform
into Star Shooter Kirby and take out the wave of Bronto Burts (16), the
mini-Krackos (22) and the section of arrow shooting Waddle Dees (28).
Fly through the passageways to get the Buttonflies and more arrow shooting
Waddle Dees (38). Shoot the bomb block at an angle to get to at least one
of the sleeping Waddle Dees for a buffer; even assuming you miss all of
them, there's a section with Buttonflies and mini-Krackos here (45). Fly
through the path with a barrage of enemies and shots flying from all
directions, again reiterating to remain damageless to keep your time,
exit out of the frantic passageways with at least 63 enemies defeated.
The remaining 7 enemies are easy to pick up after that, with mini-Krackos
appearing and Bronto Burts just behind the lower path's blocks.

There's two Waddle Dees at the start, a Waddle Dee wandering around the
dark near the bottom, right below the light worm enemy (4). Use one of
those four as a yarn ball to reach the upper left, breaking through the
block to find the Waddle Dee hiding there (5). Head to the right, attack
the light enemy up top and the Waddle Dee running away to the right (7).
Climb up the ladder to find a Waddle Dee hanging out with the beads (8)
and head back down and to the right. There's another Waddle Dee hiding in
the dark (9), visible after pulling the button that lights up the stairs.
Climb up to the second button and jump up, to find a Waddle Dee hiding in
the dark, on a platform (10). Continue up the stairs to the left to find
another Waddle Dee and find another Waddle Dee on a platform, opposite the
wall where the ladder to the star bead leads (12). Continue to the right,
up the stairs, and enter the path in the upper right corner. Find a
Waddle Dee running away in the passageway (13), follow this path up and
around to two more Waddle Dees at the end (15).

Buster's Training: Boom Boatyard [1419]
 5 Star Challenge
 "Defeat 20 enemies in 1:30!"
You're at the whim of the autoscroll, so avoid taking any hits to maximize
the time you have, translating into how deep you can get into the level.
By the time Kirby reaches a visible ladder, eight Soldiers should've been
dispatched. Following along, where the Treasure Path would've been, up
above on the platforms between the boats, your enemy counter should be at
16 Soldiers defeated. By the time Kirby gets to the swinging button, the
full 20 enemies defeated should be met.
 Reward: Capamari fabric

 5 Star Challenge
 "Defeat 20 enemies in 1:20!"
Wind up the platform and keep it wound up, to keep the platform steadily
climbing up. Weight slam the two Freezos at the start (2), then take out
the two Umbrella Waddle Dees wandering into the screen (4). Flying in from
the right is a Dandan carried by a Bronto Burt (6), followed by two Freezos
and an Umbrella Waddle Dee (9). Coming up on the left side is a Chilly and
two Waddle Dees throwing around cotton balls (12). Now, there's a Chilly
on the right and a Dandan shooting fire yarns on the left (14). Next up
is a Waddle Dee throwing around cotton balls followed by another pair of
Freezos (17). A small barrage of enemies come on screen, with a Waddle
Dee throwing cotton balls on the left, an Umbrella Waddle Dee floating in
and a Dandan carried by a Bronto Burt (21). If any enemies were missed,
above the yarn blocks with beads, there are some arrow Waddle Dees to take
out, to finish up Buster's final challenge.

10/24/10 (Ramza) - Finally got my game from Amazon. Way later than Piper. At
least we had the idea the other day, been playing the game and making sure
to take down a lot of notes. Still have to finish FFMQ too, maybe I'll do
that tomorrow. Today is a Kirby day.

10/26/10 (Ramza) - Not as much progress as I imagined on my part, still on
the second world for now. But definitely working on those treasure and
bonus star notes. Some of these treasures are actually a little tricky.

11/01/10 (Ramza) - Trying to finish up this third world land. I think I made
myself a pun, I must be funny. Although a very delicious place. I think
I'm getting a little behind Piper, I should try to catch up a bit if I
can try. Should have some free time sooner or later.

11/11/10 (Ramza) - Might be getting sick. But finally got some time to play
more KEY. I think I made quite the progress in a day, getting through a
couple of the worlds and noting down all the important sections. I know
that Piper is way closer to the end than I am. Lots of Mini-Games too.

11/11/10 (Piper) - Finished up all of my sections. Most of the guide is
complete. Did some final formatting and adding in various sections and
dividers, along with placeholder anchors. Sending it off to my co-author.
Completely axed in-game descriptions and consolidated the Loomis/Chaise
shop data into the completion tables.

11/17/10 (Ramza) - I think I'm almost done with the game. Been sending the
guide and notes back and forth. Piper has been filling the guide with
all the notes I have been taking too. It's really coming along well.
Thanks to her super guide-making knowledge, it's looking great.

11/18/10 (Ramza) - Finished the game, yay! I didn't know that the fabrics
and stuff took up so many percentage points. I was wondering why I wasn't
even close to 100%. But I eventually got that too. Now we have to decide
on the rest of the guide stuff and need to write my intro still. I would
imagine this guide will be up by next week.
