I. Introduction

Azurik is one of my favorite games ever created.  I love exploration with 
challenging game play.  I have noticed the large amount of questions asked 
by people who are attempting to play this game.  Since I have played through 
the game twice (with this guide marks three times) I have decided to help 
those in need with a detailed walkthrough.  I wrote this walkthrough while 
playing the game so everything you will find here is accurate and in order 
of what to do and where to go.  I have explained everything in the simplest 
terms for everyone to understand.  If you get stuck, which if you read what 
I wrote you shouldn't, post to the board at gamefaqs.com or send me a 
message with the words "Azurik Walkthrough" in the subject line and I will 
try to help.

This document contains spoilers, locations of all disc fragments, locations 
of all elemental powers, solutions to all puzzles, and where to find most of 
the obsidians.  (I will let you find the remaining few since I have failed 
to find all 100.)  I do not tell you where you can find all of the gems to 
increase your fuel cells for the elemental powers.  There are too may 
scattered all over the land of Perathia.  Just pick them up as you go along.  
Even though there are four different types of gems (for each power) I refer 
to all of them as "gems" and not individually.

II. Story

You are the young guardian Azurik, sworn to protect the land of Perathia and 
the elements.  The balance of the land is kept in tune at the Temple of the 
Elements, which holds the discs for each land.  Long ago, the death disc was 
lost and still un-recovered to this day.  This has caused a un-balance in 
the elements for Perathia.  The ancient prophecy speaks of two men who will 
fight to recover the disc - one with selfish ambition and one with a pure 
heart.

After accidentally finding the death disc, Balthazar is possessed by the 
Death Guardian to retrieve the remaining discs.  Eldwyn stops him before he 
is successful but takes a fatal blow in the confrontation.  The discs are 
shattered and sent hurtling to the far ends of the land.  And so the story 
begins - restore the honor of the Lore Guardians, restore the discs, restore 
Perathia.

Extra Info - READ THIS - It will make your life easier!

The most complaints I have read about this game are about the camera.  Sorry 
to say, but everyone who complains about it are the ones who are controlling 
it the wrong way.  Most people are accustomed to how other games control the 
characters.  You use the Left Thumbstick and/or D-Pad to move the character 
and the camera "follows" you most of the time in a fixed position.  Azurik 
has changed this and for good reason.  The world of Perathia is an expansive 
world that is NOT linear or on a 2-D plain.  Because of the 3-D world you 
need to have the capability to look anywhere at anytime.  Think of it as if 
you are actually standing there and not Azurik.

Recommendation for camera control: Use the Left Thumbstick to move Azurik.  
And by this I mean walking forward and backward.  Only use the thumbstick at 
90 degrees and 270 degrees (straight up and straight down).  To turn in any 
direction while running/walking use the Right Thumbstick.  So literally, 
your left thumb with mainly move up and down while your right thumb moves 
left to right.  You can also use the Right Trigger for a quick center.  When 
surrounded by enemies, use the Left Thumbstick to turn in any direction and 
then tap the Right Trigger to center.

It may take little getting use to, but please TRY IT!  After 30 minutes to 
an hour (or less) you will be use to it and have the ultimate control over 
Azurik!  For the amount of hours you will be in this game, it is well worth 
the practice.  Besides, with this game's difficulty you need to be fighting 
the enemies, not fighting the controls.

Fighting Techniques
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Some people are discouraged at the simplistic fighting moves Azurik has.  
Azurik actually has more capable offensive moves than listed in the manual.  
Once you master all the moves Azurik can perform you will find out that he 
can be quite a masterful adversary to oppose.

The simple moves everyone is aware of:

1) A simple jab: Press A
2) A simple sweep: Press B
3) Four hit jab combo: Press A - A - A - A
4) Double sweep attack: Press B - B
5) Downward Swipe: Press Y - A (Pressing Y - B does the same thing)

Here are more advanced moves not documented.  The following moves are 
performed assuming Azurik's back is facing you.  If you are standing in a 
different direction you'll need to compensate by pushing the left thumbstick 
in the opposite direction to perform the desired strike.  You must press the 
thumbstick at the same time you press the button.

1) Strike enemy to the right of Azurik: Push Left Thumbstick right - Press A
2) Strike enemy to the left of Azurik: Push Left Thumbstick left - Press A
3) Strike enemy behind Azurik: Push Left Thumbstick down - Press A
4) Swipe enemy to the right of Azurik: Push Left Thumbstick right - Press B
5) Swipe enemy to the left of Azurik: Push Left Thumbstick left - Press B
6) Swipe enemy behind Azurik: Push Left Thumbstick down - Press B

Azurik also has a "hit all enemies" in the heat of combat move.  A lot of 
times enemies will surround Azurik so while you are attacking them in front 
of you, you get hit from behind.  This move works ONLY when surrounded by 
enemies.  After executing the third strike of the 4-hit jab combo, by next 
pressing B Azurik will throw the Axion up in the air and twirl it like a 
helicopter blade knocking back all enemies around him.

Multiple Enemy Attack Combo: Press A - A - A - B

Once you have mastered these moves you can invent other combos to your 
liking.  Example: A - A - A - Y - A to perform a 3-hit jab followed by a 
downward swipe.  Have fun!

IV. Walkthrough

Special Note: Please consult every Oracle you come across as it gives you 
vital information.  Also repeatedly consult the Master Oracle on the first 
floor of the Temple of the Elements on every visit.  It tells you new 
information once the objective at hand has been completed. 

-- Training Arena --
You start off in the training arena.  If this is your first time playing, it 
is recommended you proceed through the training.  This is also a good time 
to practice the camera controls mentioned above.  If you are a veteran 
player, simply exit the arena to start the cut scene.

-- Movie --
Watch Azurik and Balthazar spar against each other.  Balthazar finds the 
missing death disc by accident and takes it to his house where the Death 
Guardian appears before him.  After possessing him, Balthazar goes to the 
Temple of the Elements to obtain the other discs.  Eldwyn stops him but he 
is critically wounded protecting Azurik.  The discs are shattered throughout 
the land of Perathia and you lose your elemental powers.  It is now time for 
us to start our quest.

-- Water Realm --
We start our journey here.  Continue the way you are facing since the path 
behind you is blocked by a wall of fire.  You can't get past here until you 
get your Water Power.  Hit the save point.  Go down to the beach and into 
the water and collect all the gems.  Stay clear of the barnacles.  You 
cannot attack or kill them.  You will find your first obsidian in the deep 
part behind the long rock.  Go back to the beach and climb the stone rocks 
that have the gems sitting on it.  Follow the path to the islands that are 
above the water.  Notice the obsidian on island to the far left?  You can't 
get it until you have Air Power 3.  Continue along the walkway to the end.  
You can't get past the ice block until you can make a steam blade so jump 
off of the end of the island into the waterspout to be transported.

After landing, swim around the water to collect all the gems and then 
surface at the save point.  Don't worry about this section yet.  You don't 
have your Water Power to go anywhere.  Instead, enter the doorway right in 
front of the save point.  Jump in the water and collect the obsidian behind 
the pillar.  Get out of the water and go up the stairs.  A disc fragment!  
We'll have to come back later when we have steam power.  Ignore the path 
directly across from the fragment.  You can't go up it.  Continue up the 
stairs and watch the cut scene showing you the waterspout machinery and your 
first Water Power.  Hit the save point.  Go straight and cross the bridge.  
Go around the corner and see the obsidian encased in ice.  We'll have to 
come back to this later.  Go back to the wall with vines and climb up.  Go 
to the immediate right and go across the bridge and activate the switch.  Go 
back across the bridge and jump over the rock wall.  Follow the dark tunnel 
straight ignoring the tunnel to the left for now.  Jump across the 
waterfall.  Get the obsidian sitting on the rock to the left.  Don't worry 
if you fall in the water.  The current will take you back to the bottom 
where we started.  Just come back up to where we are now.  Follow the path 
down to the waterspout machine.  Use it to put out the ring of fire.  Once 
the fire is out it will stay out.  Jump down to the water and swim to the 
save point.  Save!  Now follow the path up the hill past the oracle.  Go 
across the bridge and collect your first Water Power!  Put out a section of 
fire using your water power and go back across the bridge.  Jump down off of 
the bridge to the path below.  Put out the wall of fire and collect the 
obsidian.  Go back to the oracle and save if you want to and then go back up 
the hill.  Continue down the path to the wall of fire.  Put it out and go 
through the tunnel past the save point and back to the main Water Realm 
area.

When you emerge, look down at the waterfall to see the obsidian sitting on 
the rock.  Get it!  Then, come back to the island where you emerged and step 
onto the gold transporter.  Do not swim out to other places in the water 
realm.  You are not ready for those places yet.  After teleporting, jump 
into the water and make your way back up to where the game started.  Hit the 
save point.  This time we can go through the wall of fire.

-- Town --
Now is a good time to familiarize yourself with the paths that take you to 
the different realms.  I am only going to explain this once here.  After 
crossing the bridge from the water realm go to your right.  Do not climb up 
the hill.  Instead, stay on the current path that simply goes around in a 
circle.  Starting from the water realm the next bridges in order go to:

1) Life Restore Temple (go ahead and cross the bridge and climb the rocks to 
claim the obsidian!)
2) Earth Realm (go ahead and cross the bridge and claim the obsidian to the 
left!)
3) Elemental Restore Temple/Death Realm (Air Power 3 is needed here)
4) Fire Realm (Air Power 1 is needed here)
5) Sewers (nothing to do here unless you want a glimpse of a Deluvian 
Stalker)
6) Water Realm (this is where we started)

Now I will let you do some exploring of your own.  Search the town for 
obsidians by looking in the houses.  The houses you can't open the doors to 
have a pad lock on the door.  Easy enough.  Go to all the houses that do not 
have the pad locks and search all balconies.  Listen for the sound the 
obsidians make to know when you are close.  You should find 5 obsidians.  
Once you have gone through town completely you should have 12 obsidians now.  
Go to the top of the hill to the first floor of the Temple of Elements (this 
is the tall tower in middle of town).  Save!  Also, the oracle here is the 
master oracle.  Consult this oracle for the task at hand to do whenever 
needed.  All other oracles state information about the specific section you 
are in. Make sure you save BEFORE you take either elevator up to the second 
floor.  Now take either elevator up to the second floor.  Quickly before the 
elevator in the middle of the room can come down, jump in the hole to claim 
another obsidian!  You should have 13 now.  This part can be tricky and you 
can easily die if you fall too far.  This is why you should have saved.  
Jump down to one of the gray horizontal support beams.  Then slide down to 
the center platform again.  You are too far up to jump to the ground.  You 
need to fall off of the platform and then immediately try to land on the 
next platform in the middle.  Now just fall to the floor.  You will take 
some damage but you won't die.  Take the elevator back up to the second 
floor.  Unlock the first barrier to raise your life bar.  You can keep 
taking the elevators up to see the rest of the tower if you like.  Once 
finished, go back down to the first floor and save.  Congratulations!  You 
can now turn the game off and take a breather if you like.  If not, go to 
the Earth Realm.  It is time to get our first Fire Power.

-- Earth Realm --
Upon entering the Earth Realm, activate the teleporter by stepping over it.  
Continue through the double doors that open up to the next save point.  
Continue along the path to the wall of fire.  In this stone room you will 
see a disc fragment up on a ledge.  It will be a long time before we can get 
this.  Also notice the obsidian.  We will have to wait on that one as well.  
Continue along the path out to where the inoperable digger is.  Ignore the 
path to the left going up the hill.  We do not have the proper shield to get 
past the barrier yet.  Continue past the digger to the platform and ride it 
down.  We are now in the main Earth Realm section.  From here there will be 
many places to branch off to.  But there really is only one place for us to 
go for now - get our fire power!  Walk the path that goes to the left and 
follow it.  Stay on the path.  Don't go to any side paths.  Hit the save 
point and continue around until you are on the ground level.  Go toward the 
waterfall and activate the teleporter.  This teleporter links with the last 
one we just activated.  Now we can quickly bypass that long trek into the 
Earth Realm.  Go into the entranceway to the left of the waterfall.  Slide 
down the little stream to end up in the next section.

The fish in the water can't hurt you.  Swim to your right and surface.  
Climb up the ladder and collect the key.  Drop back down to the water and 
swim under the machine to a hole.  Surface and get up out of the water.  Go 
ahead and place the key into one of the key slots on the machine.  Continue 
up the path to the wall of fire.  Notice the obsidian on the far left 
island?  We'll get that in a moment.  Go past the fire wall and you will see 
the fire power behind some ice blocks.  Also notice the obsidian up high on 
an archway.  You need Air Power 3 to get it so just remember it for now.  
Walk past the wall of fire and get the key.  Go back to the previous room 
and put the key in the machine to activate the pulley.  Now go back to the 
previous room to the second wall of fire.  Follow the path down to your 
first Fire Power!  Combine the Water and Fire Power to create a steam blade 
and melt the ice blocks.  Walk up the hill and past the lift to the edge.  
See the obsidian on the island?  Jump for it!  Come back to the room with 
the pulley (don't ride it) and melt the ice blocks in the corner of the 
room.  Enjoy the long slide!  Weeee!!!  Don't worry about gems you miss.  
Once you get your air power you can come back here and use it to slow down 
to get the gems you missed.

-- Water Realm --
Slide's over.  Recognize where we are?  Claim the Water Disc Fragment 1 
directly in front of you.  Turn and go up the stairs to the save point.  
Save!  Continue to the frozen obsidian and claim it.  Climb up the vines and 
jump over the stone wall.  This time take the tunnel to the left we ignored 
the first time by.  Melt the ice and let the geyser shoot you up.  Wait for 
the large ice block to float up and jump on it.  Ride it to the waterfall on 
your left and jump in the water.  Swim into the waterfall and climb up the 
hidden vines on the left side to the ledge and claim the obsidian.  Jump 
back down into the water and follow the current all the way down to ground 
level.  Hit the save point and exit this area to the Water Realm.  Step on 
the Gold transporter and then drop into the water.  Climb up the ladder to 
the island and jump to the ice block.  Melt it and activate the teleporter.  
Then follow the blue rock to the right to the beach and run to the dock.  
Ignore the cave on your right that you will pass.  Once on the dock, kill 
the red overlord and quickly run back up the dock to the beach!  A cut scene 
will show some overlords in an underwater dome with a periscope fire a 
torpedo at you.  It will blow the dock up.  Claim the key.  Now swim 
straight out under the water.  There will be a deep gorge directly in front 
of you and on your right.  Go to the gorge on your right.  You will see a 
save point deep underwater.  This means you are where you need to be.  Save!  
Swim into the open tube for a ride.

-- Stormy Water Realm --
Activate the switch to move the machine arm into place. After being shot up 
to the top, activate the next switch to lower the bucket.  Run across the 
arm and jump down into the water and swim to the bucket to claim the 
obsidian.  Swim to the left and get up out of the water where the oracle and 
save point are.  Save!  The rocks with the color stripes can only be 
destroyed by combining the colors of the elemental powers they show.  
Example: The two rocks where we currently are at show blue, red, and yellow.  
In order to "pop" the rock we need to combine those three elements, which in 
this case would make electricity.  Yellow is air power and we don't have it 
yet.  But that is the power we will get here in the Stormy Water Realm so 
you can come back and pop the rocks later.  For now, walk down the path to 
the platform and ride it up.  Ignore the green plants.  Continue along to 
the next platform.  Ride it down and jump to the green plant to the right.  
Now, remember what the oracle said, "Watch how the world reacts to day and 
night."  If it is nighttime, the platforms from under the water will be up 
and allow you to jump across them.  If you see nothing but water in front of 
you then it is daytime and they are encased in their holders below the 
water.  Simply wait for it to become nighttime and they will rise for you.  
Day and night cycle in about five minutes.  Jump across them to the switch 
and activate it.  Now jump into the water and swim up under the switch to 
get an obsidian!  Swim back to the oracle and save point.  Save!  Again, if 
it is nighttime the spotlights will be on.  If not, wait for it to become 
nighttime.  When the spotlights hit the pods they will open.  Jump across 
the pods to the second switch and activate it.  Again, jump into the water 
and swim up under the switch to get an obsidian!  Swim back to the oracle 
and save point.  Save!  Now, the platforms we just activated do not rise 
until daytime.  So wait until daytime and then jump across to claim your 
first Air Power!  Now jump to activate the third switch.  Again, jump into 
the water and swim up under the switch to get an obsidian!  You should have 
20 obsidians now.  Swim back to the oracle and save point.  Save!  Remember, 
you can pop those rocks now!  Follow the path back to the platform and ride 
it up.  Before taking the platform up, you can use your air power to jump 
across the green leaf plants to collect the gems now if you wish.  Continue 
along the same path as before to the second platform.  Ride it down and this 
time go to your left.  Guess what, another save point.  You know what to do.  
Now, if it is nighttime the spotlights will be on.  When their light beam 
touches a pod it will open up.  Jump across the pods to claim the Earth Disc 
Fragment 1.  Now you can swim under the water and collect the gems on the 
bottom.  DO NOT swim too close to the waterfall as the current will pull you 
over and you will die!  So go ahead and save again incase this happens to 
you.  Also, ignore the giant tube under the water.  It takes you to a place 
you can't go anywhere at this time so ignore it.  Once finished scouring the 
bottom, exit the Stormy Water Realm by swimming through the twin statues 
where you claimed the obsidian from the bucket.

-- Water Realm --
Remember the two overlords that tried to blow us up with a torpedo?  I think 
it is time we paid them a little visit to show our gratitude.  Swim pass the 
underwater save point and tube we entered earlier and go to the second 
underwater gorge.  Swim down to the dome and go behind it.  Look for the 
horizontal tube passing between the rocks.  Swim down into the hole and 
surface at the periscope entrance.  Activate your electrical shield (Air + 
Fire) and pass through the electrical barrier.  Place the key in the key 
holder to raise the stairs.  After dispatching of our two friends activate 
the periscope.  Aim it at the large stone statue (listen to the sonar to aim 
it) and FIRE!  BOOM!  Exit the periscope and swim to the hole we just made.  
Avoid swimming close to the whirlpool!  It will suck you in and kill you!  
There are two floating platforms you can find on top of the water while 
swimming.  Activate the teleporter on one and hit the save point on the 
other.  Swim to the hole we made and walk up the statue into the cave.  You 
can activate your fire power to see here.  Collect the obsidian.  Follow the 
path to the other cave entrance.  Well how about that!  Claim the Water Disc 
Fragment 2.  Go back the way you came and in the dark cave drop down into 
the water.  Swim out and swim to the beach and go to town.  Hit the save 
point along the way.

-- Town --
Go to the Temple of the Elements and ride the elevator up to the second 
floor.  You should have 21 obsidians now.  Unlock the second barrier to 
claim a key.  Travel out to the Life Restore Temple and place the key in the 
holder.  You can now refill your life to full anytime here.  Listen to the 
whispers in the temple - spooky!  Go back to the Temple of the Elements and 
save!  We now must get our Earth power.  Use your air power to cross the 
open bridge.  Look to the right of the entrance to claim the obsidian!  Now 
enter the Fire Realm.

-- Fire Realm --
Hit the save point.  If you follow the path straight you will end up and the 
Fire Guardian's Stronghold.  You do not need to go here yet.  There is also 
an obsidian in a rock that requires Acid Power 3.  It will be a long time 
before you can get this so just remember it is here.  We want to take the 
path to the left that goes past the oracle.  Follow the path into the 
doorway and out on a ledge.  Jump down to the rocks and make your way down 
to the multi-colored globe.  Now you have a choice, a pathway to the left 
and to the right.  This is a very small maze that simply circles itself and 
only has one exit.  I will let you find your way through it.  In the maze, 
look for two items: you will find an obsidian under a flight of stairs and a 
key in a dead end room with a lava fall.  Then find your way to the exit.  
It is another doorway that leads out of the tunnels back out to the open 
area.  Make your way to the next doorway and we are back into some tunnels 
again.  You can take the right tunnel or the left tunnel.  They both end up 
in about the same place.  You will however want to keep going to the left 
and pick up a second key with an obsidian below it!  You can't get lost in 
these tunnels as they loop onto themselves.  Do not drop down off of the 
ledge!  Instead, continue on the upper pathway you are on to the left and 
you will be out in the open again.  You will see a small pyramid shaped 
building with three key holders in front of it.  Go ahead and drop the two 
keys you have onto the holders and hit the save point.  We need to go get 
the third key before we can get into the building.  Drop down to the next 
lower level right after the save point.  By now you should have collected 
enough gems to increase the fuel cell for your Water Power.  Enter the 
doorway and take the tunnel to the right.  The pathways above are where we 
just were.  Follow the pathway until you get to the base of the flame 
generator.  Circle to the left and take the next bridge.  Plenty of baddies 
in this huge cave.  Make your way all the way to the far end and then go up 
the hill.  By now you should have collected enough gems to increase the fuel 
cell for your Fire Power.  For now, go past the first doorway to your right 
and continue along the path to the next doorway.  Collect the obsidian!  Now 
go back to the doorway you past.  Continue to the next doorway.  Collect the 
third key!  Continue out of the tunnel and you will be above the save point 
and building.  Drop down off of the ledge to the save point and then place 
the third key.  Go in the building and activate the switch.  The flame 
generator is now active and the door that leads to the electrical forest is 
open.  Hit the save point!  Drop back off of the ledge and make your back 
through the same way we went to pick up the third key.  If you killed all 
the enemies it will be a quick and easy trek.  This time don't drop back 
down to where the save point is.  Instead, keep going on the path and take 
the bridge.  When you make it to the flame generator go to the other bridge 
and through the doorway.  There is an elevator built onto the flame 
generator you can take up but we don't have the Earth Power yet to make the 
Smash blade to get past the barrier.  We will have to come back to this 
later to collect the disc fragment on the other side.  Even though you do 
not have your Earth Power yet, by now you should have collected enough gems 
to increase the fuel cell for your Earth Power.

-- Fire Realm: Electrical Forest --
Go past the oracle and hit the save point.  Go left toward the lava fall.  
Jump down the rocks and get the obsidian.  Make your way down the path and 
activate the teleporter.  Go in the doorway.  There is a path you can take 
to the right going under an archway and a path going straight.  There is 
nothing but a dead end to the right and a colored rock, which requires the 
Earth Power to pop it.  Go straight instead to the save point.  Save!  Go to 
the doorway and jump on the moving platforms.  Go through the doorway at the 
bottom.  Take the pathway to the bottom to get the key.  Now come back and 
take the high pathway to the platform.  Jump to it and then to the ledge.  
Follow the narrow path to the moving platform.  Jump off of the platform at 
the very top and claim the obsidian.  Then fall down to the next level and 
go past the electrical trees.  Follow the path out to the large pit.  See 
the obsidian sitting out on a ledge?  We need at least Air Power 2 to get 
it.  Continue up the path to the geyser and let it shoot you up to the next 
level.  Go to your right.  Collect the key at the dead end.  Make your way 
back and go the opposite direction.  You will have a choice to go right or 
left.  Go right first to collect the gems at the dead end.  Then go left and 
place a key in the holder to remove the barrier.  Jump out across the rocks 
to get the key.  Then take the platform up.  Follow the path and place the 
key in the holder.  Jump down and hit the save point.  Go to the doorway and 
jump on the platforms.  Jump over to the ledge and activate the switch.  
Then jump to the doorway directly across from you.  Follow the path and 
place a key in the key holder.  Jump down and take the platform up.  Follow 
the path to where the large vertical columns are.  Do not go straight yet!  
Take the path to the left past the electrical tree.  Follow the path and 
claim your first Earth Power!  Come back down the path and go past the 
silver platform on the ground.  Jump to the teleporter and activate it.  Now 
jump back and follow the path to the green acid block.  Use your acid power 
and melt the block.  Now, we could take this path to go back to the Water 
Realm, but while we are here we might as well get another disc fragment.  
You can see it from here up on a rock.  Since this next part can be very 
difficult, I recommend you take the teleporter back to the first part of the 
Electrical Forest and hit the save point.  Then take the teleporter back to 
this area and go to the silver platform and ride it down.  Wait for the 
three platforms to stop spinning and then jump using your air power.  You 
have to be fast!  If you fall you die!  Once you make it past follow the 
path out to in-between the lava and waterfalls.  Great View!  Watch out for 
the Fire Drakes!  There are two to three of them.  They can knock you off 
the path and you will die.  It's best to get your back up against the wall 
and kill them before venturing out.  You don't want to have to go through 
that previous room again!  Make your way to the geyser and let it shoot you 
up.  Take the path up to the wall and climb the vines.  Go to the save point 
and save!  Whew!  Don't have to do that section again!  Ride the zip line 
down.  Ride the second zip line down to the tube.  Exit the tube and go 
through the other two tubes to collect the gems.  Now go to the center of 
the room.  This machine reminds me of the warp core from Star Trek: TNG!  
Jump up to the ledge and activate the both switches.  The platforms will now 
raise and lower.  Make your way to the top of the machine.  Watch out for 
the Bots!  They can knock you down!  Once you make it to the top, jump to 
the rock and claim Earth Disc Fragment 2.  Jump to where the teleporter is 
and go to where we melted the acid block.  Drop down to the water and swim 
out to the tube.

-- Stormy Water Realm --
Surface and hit a save point. Exit the Stormy Water Realm.

-- Water Realm --
Swim toward the ice rocks that have the mist in them.

-- Water Realm: Ice Islands --
Swim to the main island with the oracle.  Follow the bridge that puts the 
oracle to your right and the island with the obsidian to your left.  We need 
a higher Air Power to get the obsidian.  Take the path to the right and hit 
the save point.  Follow the path up and activate the switch.  Now take the 
middle path up to the ledge.  There is an obsidian encased in ice, but we 
need to have Steam Blade level 2 to melt it.  Go back down and go back to 
the main island.  Go to your left and take the next bridge.  You will see 
another switch but it is encased like the obsidian.  We'll have to come back 
for this switch too.  Jump to the floating iceberg, then to the next, then 
to the island.  Notice the second obsidian sitting on a little island.  
We'll need a higher air power for that one also. You can see by now all the 
backtracking that we'll have to do in this game once we get all of our 
powers to full strength!  Make your way up the circular path to the top of 
the island.  By now you should have collected enough gems to increase the 
fuel cell for your Air Power.  Activate the switch at the top of the island.  
Make your way across the bridge.  Watch out for the Bots!  They can knock 
you off into the water causing you to trek all the way back up here again!  
Activate your Smash Blade (Air + Fire + Earth) to deactivate the barrier.  
Claim your Water Power 2.  Hit the save point.  Continue along the bridge 
and activate the switch to ice over the water spray.  Slide down the ice 
path to the next island.  You can't go up the ice bridge.  Instead, drop 
back down to the island and then fall in the hole in the middle of the 
island.  Take the tunnel to the obsidian.  We've done all we can do here for 
now.  Exit back to the Water Realm and then go back to Town and then the 
Earth Realm.

Seems we are making Balthazar nervous!  We refuse to give up our quest so he 
dispatches three Catilisks on us.  No problem.  We've taken on bigger 
battles than this before.

Take the teleporter.  Counting from the bottom path up, go to the first 
pulley and ride it down. (Not the pulley that takes you to the Desert Area.)  
After riding down, hit the save point. I find it is easiest to dispatch of 
all the enemies first.  After you kill all the red overlords the keys will 
become available.  There is an obsidian in a level 2 acid block and a level 
2 ice block.  First, enable the drill that has the creatures that restore 
your Water Power in close proximity.  Collect the Life Disc Fragment 1.  
Now, enable the drill that has the creatures that restore your Fire Power in 
close proximity.  Use your Fire Power to see in the dark cave.  Collect the 
two obsidians, and then enter the cave.  Use the creatures outside to 
replenish your Fire Power.  Don't get caught in the cave in total darkness!  
Inside the cave is our first of four small crystals.  The two staffs in 
front of the crystal are showing fire, so we need to hit the crystal with a 
fire blade (Earth + Fire).  Listen to the song that is played and notice 
when the crystal blinks.

--- + --- + Fire + --- + --- + --- + Fire

Okay, we know the sequence now.  Continue out of the cave and go back to 
where the drills are.  Hit the save point and then go to the last drill.  
Activate it.  This room looks like we are entering a temple, sort of.  Stand 
at the cave entrance and look up.  See the obsidian up on the ledge above 
the wall of fire?  Climb the vines on the right side to get it and then go 
past the wall of fire.  Claim your Fire Power 2.  We now have the capability 
of making a Steam Blade level 2.  Go back to the drills area and melt the 
ice block for the obsidian.  Now we have done all we can from here.  Go back 
to town.

-- Town --
Go to the Temple of the Elements.  You should have 32 obsidians now. Go to 
the second floor and unlock the barrier to increase your life meter.  Go 
back to the first floor and hit the save point.  The next step is to find 
Air Power 2.  But first, let's go get another disc fragment now that we have 
our Fire Power 2.  Go back to the Ice Islands.

-- Water Realm: Ice Islands --
Go to the main island with the oracle.  Take the bridge to the left of the 
oracle.  Take the path to the right and hit the save point.  Then come back 
down and take the middle path up to the obsidian.  Go back across the bridge 
to the main island.  Go to your left and take the next bridge.  Melt the ice 
block and activate the switch.  The ice bridges are now snow covered for us 
to walk on.  Jump to the floating iceberg and then to the next.  Jump to the 
island and make your way up.  Follow the path all the way back to the last 
ice bridge we couldn't cross before.  Walk up it to claim Fire Disc Fragment 
1.  That is it for the Ice Islands until we get Air Power 3 for the 
remaining obsidians.  Exit and go to the Earth Realm.

-- Earth Realm --
Take the teleporter.  Now, before we go after our next Air Power let's get 
the machinery in the Earth Realm working.  After stepping off of the 
teleporter take the purple lift up that is to the right of the waterfall.  
Go right on the path and then take the first pulley down.

-- Earth Realm: Desert Area --
Hit the save point.  Then, with the save point facing behind you and the 
pulley to the front, take the left tunnel.  Activate the drill with one of 
the keys you have.  Here is our second small crystal.  The two staffs in 
front of the crystal are showing smash, so we need to hit the crystal with a 
smash blade (Air + Earth + Fire).  Listen to the song that is played and 
notice when the crystal blinks.

Smash + --- + Fire + --- + --- + Smash + Fire

Okay, we know the sequence now.  Exit the room and go back to the save 
point.  Now let's get the conveyor belts running.  Go to the right and use 
your air power to jump across the crevice.  Go in the tunnel and out to 
where the machine is.  Go to the left and jump to the path going up the 
hill.  Claim the key encircled in the columns.  Go back down the hill and 
take the tunnel to the right.  Drop down to the conveyor belt.  Jump off of 
the conveyor and go left up the stairs.  Collect all the gems and then come 
back to the conveyor belts.  Take the path to the left at the conveyor 
belts.  Go all the way to the end like before and collect all the gems.  
When you reach the downward slope with the stairs look up to see the 
obsidian on a ledge.  Jump up on the rocks to your left and use your air 
power to claim it.  Once you have been to the open area below and collected 
everything and activated the teleporter, come back to the conveyor belts.  
Climb over the rocks on the conveyor belt going into the tunnel.  At the 
last rock, jump to the ladder.  Climb up and go back through the tunnel we 
came through earlier.  Wait on the scoop to go by and jump on it.  Ride it 
until it stops.  Quickly jump off to the ledge before it opens above the 
grinders!  Claim the key on the ledge.  Follow the conveyor to the right and 
jump off to the ground.  Go to the conveyor belts again and make your way up 
the ladder in the tunnel like before.  Once under the machine, climb the 
ladder and activate it with the two keys we collected.  The conveyors are 
now operational.  Go back through the tunnel and jump on the scoop again.  
Ride it like before and jump off at the same place.  This time, jump on the 
conveyor and let it take you to the left.  At the end, get back on the scoop 
and ride it.  Jump off of the scoop when you clear the tunnel with the lava 
at the bottom where the conveyor is.  Try to land on the side with the 
obsidian, otherwise you will have to do it all over again.  Collect the 
obsidian and then jump on the conveyor.  Jump from the rocks to claim the 
obsidian on the upper ledge.  Jump back to the conveyor belt.  Fall off of 
the conveyor to either the right or left to avoid falling in the grinders.  
Hit the save point!  Okay, we have the conveyors running now let's get the 
tower raised in the main Earth Realm section.  Go to the pulley and ride it 
up.

-- Earth Realm --
Go left down the path and hit the save point.  Circle all the way down and 
enter the entranceway to the left of the waterfall.  This is where we went 
to get our first Fire Power.  Remember the pulley we never rode?  This is 
where we are going.  Make your way to it and then ride the pulley.  It dumps 
us into a river, which then takes us to the bottom of the machine that is in 
the central Earth Realm.  I find it is easiest to dispatch of all the 
enemies in this area first.  Climb up the rock near the pool and claim the 
obsidian.  Go in one of the doorways in the machine and claim the key.  Then 
activate the switch outside of the machine.  Now the tower is raised and the 
gears operational.  Take the platform in the tower back to the main area.  I 
recommend you circle up the path and hit the save point.  Now, come back 
down the path and go to the short purple lift that leads to the drill.  Use 
a key to activate the drill.  Enter the tunnel and go down the ladder.  Jump 
across the rocks to get across the river.  Take the path to the left and 
claim the key at the dead end.  Make your way back and to the left to the 
conveyor belts.  Get on top of one of the rocks on the conveyor and ride it 
to the end.  Quickly jump off of it to the ladder before it falls into the 
grinder.  Get on the tube and follow it to the left.  Go to the next 
platform and climb down the ladder.  Claim the key and activate the switch.  
Climb down the ladder.  Exit this area back out to the main Earth Realm 
section.  Make your way to the very top of the tower we raised and place all 
three keys.  Now all the diggers work.  Come back down and hit the save 
point.  Then take the path that leads you back to town.  Don't take the 
teleporter.  Instead, trek back the long way.  When you get to the digger 
jump onto one of the buckets.  It will take you to the other side.  Here we 
find the third small crystal.  The two staffs in front of the crystal are 
showing electricity, so we need to hit the crystal with an electricity blade 
(Air + Water + Fire).  Listen to the song that is played and notice when the 
crystal blinks.

Smash + Electricity + Fire + --- + Electricity + Smash + Fire

Okay, we know the sequence now.  Exit the room and jump in the dust the 
digger is making to go back to the other side.  Go back to the Earth Realm 
and take the first pulley down to the Desert Area.  Hit the save point.  
This time facing the oracle with the pulley to your back, take the left 
tunnel.  This is the one we haven't been in yet.  Activate the drill with 
the last remaining key.  Go in the tunnel.  I hope you enjoyed the lush 
green tropical environments we have been in because it will now be a long 
time before we get out of this next area!  We now continue our quest to get 
our Air Power 2.

-- Earth Realm: Volcano Area 1 --
Go straight and jump on the rocks to the left and hit the save point.  Claim 
the obsidian on the rock.  Let the geyser shoot you back to the other side.  
Go up the path and activate the teleporter.  Then activate the switch to 
raise the ladder.  Climb up and go to your right.  Collect the gem at the 
dead end and refill your elemental fuel cells with the creatures if needed.  
Notice the obsidian up on the ledge at the end of the zip line?  It will be 
a while before we can get it.  Go back to the left and notice the obsidian 
up on top of the tube and on the far ledge.  Continue down to the path to 
the left.  Shoot!  An open lava tube blocks our path.  We have to fix this.  
Go back up the path and go to the left and follow the skinny path along the 
wall.  Climb down the ladder and activate the switch.  Now the multiple 
rocks will be bouncing their tops up and down.  Climb up to the top of a 
rock while it is down.  Then jump from one to the other to get the obsidian 
on the top of the tube first and then the one on the ledge.  Make your way 
over and jump to where the doorway is.  Ignore the big hole behind you.  Go 
through the doorway and the use your air power to jump to the left switch.  
Activate it.  Jump down to the pathway below and then enter the doorway.  
Follow the pathway to the steam and let it shoot you up right back where we 
started.  Drop down and go across the path.  The lava is not blocking our 
way anymore.  The path to the left is a dead end with a gem.  Get it and 
then go the other way and drop down in the hole.  You will fall down a 
tunnel and then be shot up by another geyser to the middle tube.  The tube 
of lava on the left is functioning and you can jump to the rotating ends to 
get over to the pathway to collect the gems.  Avoid jumping into the lava!  
By now you should have collected enough gems to increase the fuel cell for 
your Water Power for the second time.  Drop down into the giant tube with 
steam coming out of it.  Enjoy the ride!  Now we are on the upper ledge from 
where we were before.  Go up the pathway and hit the save point.  Go in the 
doorway and make your way around.  Follow the pathway and collect all the 
gems.  Then, walk up the hill and jump to the first geyser.  You are 
basically going to play leapfrog here and go from geyser to geyser.  I find 
it best to center the camera directly above Azurik so you are looking down 
at him.  This way you can see where you are going to land.  Another note, 
you can land on the edges of the rocks without getting hurt.  You don't have 
to try and land in the steam.  Land on the edges so you can get centered up 
for the next jump.  You can push the left thumbstick forward to move Azurik 
farther and pull back to keep him from jumping too far.  Once you have made 
it past this section and have landed on hard ground, look up to see the disc 
fragment up on the ledge.  It will be a long time before we can get that.  
Continue along the pathway to the left.  Activate the teleporter.  Now we 
can bypass that all that the next time we come here by stepping on the 
teleporter we first activated at the beginning.  Continue up the path.  See 
the obsidian on the left?  Let's leave it be for now since we need Air Power 
2 to get it and follow the path up to the save point.  Save!  Go back toward 
the acid block 3 and hang a left.  Follow the skinny path above the lava to 
the dead end.  Here is another drill we need to activate.  Activate it!  
Hey!  There is our Air Power 2!  But last I checked we can't walk through 
lava so hit the switch again to turn off the lava flow.  Claim your Air 
Power 2.  Go back up the path and hit the save point.  Now let's get that 
obsidian!  Go stand to the left of the first torch you come to and air power 
over.  Follow the path to the left and claim the obsidian.  Don't go back 
down the path!  The edge of the pathway you took off from is too high to 
jump back to.  Instead, air power over to the pathway from where you got the 
obsidian.  Try to fly toward the teleporter to make it back.  Go back up the 
pathway and hit the save point.  This time keep going straight and air power 
over the lava.  Follow the path and take the bridge to the right.  By now 
you should have collected enough gems to increase the fuel cell for your 
Earth Power for the second time.  This place is a preview of what's to come.  
This is the Volcano Area 2.  But the part we are in we can't do much.  Do 
not try to jump out to the rock with the ladder.  You can't make it.  Stay 
on this side and collect all the gems and then go back to Volcano Area 1.  
Go up the path to the edge where the big torch is.  Drop down to the ledge 
to get the gem and then make your way back up.  This time air power straight 
over to the other side.  Follow the path down to the switch.  The rock in 
front of you will now raise and lower its top.  Jump on it and go in the 
tunnel to the left.  Air power over to the second switch in this room on the 
left.  We already activated the other one.  Activate it and the open lava 
tube is now closed.  Air power back to the ledge we came in from and ride 
the rock back up.  Take the path we just came down back the opposite way.  
Make your way back to the save point and go back to the drill where we got 
our air power from.  Activate the drill.  The lava tubes are now operational 
and did you see the middle tube open up?  That's where we go next!  Go back 
to the save point and save!  Make your way back to the rock that blows its 
top and fall down in the hole.  Try to avoid landing in the steam on the 
middle tube and land on the edge.  Jump over to the lava tube on the right 
and collect the gems.  Then jump back to the middle tube and you will be 
shot up to the very top of the volcano!  Now you are "up on top of the 
world" per the other posted walkthrough.  Step on the stone with the gem on 
it and enjoy the ride!

-- Earth Realm: Volcano Area 2 --
Jump to the rock with the ladder.  Climb up and jump from rock to rock 
towards the oracle.  Some may refer to this area as the Battle Area.  Go 
down the path and hit the save point.  Go back and follow the path down to 
the lava.  Air power over to the rock in front of you.  Now, turn to your 
left and jump from rock to rock and claim the obsidian.  Make your way back 
across the rocks and to the land on the other side.  By now you should have 
collected enough gems to increase the fuel cell for your Fire Power for the 
second time.  Go to the ladder and climb down.  Go to the end and let the 
geyser shoot you up.  Jump across the rocks to claim the obsidian.  Jump 
back to where you were and climb down the ladder.  Go to the end and let the 
geyser shoot you up.  Hit the save point.  For now, do not be concerned with 
the rest of this area.  It is almost guaranteed that you will die more than 
once in the next few seconds.  So don't worry about going around killing all 
the enemies.  They will just re-spawn.  See the building right in front of 
the save point?  Go down the ladder.  Weird noises huh?  Take the elevator 
down and go to the end of the path.  Okay.  You will die more than once 
trying this because not only do you have to make it to the switch in the 
middle, but you have to make it back also.  The only advice I can offer is 
time your jumps so that you will land on the platforms where they WILL BE, 
not where they were when you jumped for them.  Thanks for the save point 
right outside the building.  When you make it to the middle activate the 
switch.  Then make your way back to the save point and SAVE!  Good Luck.  I 
actually made it there and back without dying once!  Wow!  That was my first 
time to do that!  Ha-ha!  Okay, when you do it you can brag too.  After the 
save point collect all the gems in the surrounding area.  Be sure to jump in 
the pond that is still up before jumping down into the one that dropped when 
we activated the switch.  Once you drop down you can't get back up.  Go in 
the circular doorway to enter a small maze.  I will let you find your way 
through.  A couple of pathways circle on themselves.  Gems are the only 
things to collect.  When you reach the colored rock you have made it to the 
exit of the maze.  Go to the end and let the geyser shoot you up.  First, go 
to your left toward the smoking statue.  You are now above the maze you just 
went through.  Collect the gems.  Then go to the very back where another 
smoking statue is.  Look down into the maze and see the obsidian sitting on 
the ledge.  Fall down to the ledge.  Be careful though!  If you miss the 
ledge and hit the maze floor you will die!  You are too far up.  Then fall 
off of the ledge and make your way back to the geyser.  This time go to your 
right and collect all the colored rocks.  Then jump across the rocks to the 
vines and climb up.  I find it very difficult to get across these rocks 
especially with the lavalars.  If you are going to use the quick save cheat 
then use it by the smoking statues away from the electrical trees.  This way 
if you die you won't have to go back through the maze and collect the gems 
and obsidian again.  Go through the circular doorway into a twisted tunnel.  
Don't worry!  No more platform jumping like before.  Fall down the tube and 
go to the end of the path.  Ride the zip line down.  Activate the switch.  
This time the platforms come to us.  Walk across to the doorway and take the 
elevator.  Hit the save point!  Go to the right and take the path to the 
right and collect the gems.  Then come back to the two statues and jump to 
the other side.  Go in the tube and enjoy the ride.  Take the elevator up.  
A cut scene shows us a disc fragment.  First, go to the wall of fire and 
fill your elemental powers.  Get on the platform and it will raise and 
rotate.  Dispatch of the enemies thrown in your face and collect the 
obsidian.  Then, time your jump and claim Fire Disc Fragment 2.  Jump back 
to the rotating platform.  Simply wait for the platform to lower.  Go in-
between the two statues sliding down the rocks to the lower level.  Go to 
the next two statues and follow the path.  Follow the stepping-stones to the 
colored rock.  Below is the save point but don't drop down yet!  Go back and 
take the path to the right.  Go to the end and collect the obsidian.  Now 
drop down and hit the save point.  It's time to leave now.  Jump to the big 
rock in the lava lake with the ladder that has the small stone we rode here 
circling it.  Air Power over to the next rock and then to the other side.  
Take the tunnel to go back to Volcano Area 1.

-- Earth Realm: Volcano Area 1 --
Take the path to the right and jump down to the save point.  Save!  Then go 
right and take the teleporter back to the beginning.  Exit the Earth Realm 
and go back to town.

-- Town --
Go to the Temple of the Elements.  You should have 46 obsidians now.  Go to 
the second floor and unlock the barrier to increase the power of your Axion.  
Go back to the first floor and hit the save point.  Go back to the Earth 
Realm.

-- Earth Realm --
Take the teleporter then go to the first pulley and go back to the Desert 
Realm.

-- Earth Realm: Desert Area --
Hit the save point.  Go to the right and jump over the crevice.  Go in the 
tunnel and then jump up on the ledge of the second small underpass you 
walked under.  It looks like the lower half of the letter H. Jump to the 
path and put up your electrical shield (Air + Fire) to get past the barrier.  
Claim your Earth Power 2.  Jump back to the ledge and go back through the 
electrical barrier.  Don't jump back down.  Instead, follow the path down 
the stairs to the wall of fire.  Be sure to collect the obsidian in-between 
the stairs before the wall of fire.  After the fire you will see the 
entrance to the Earth Guardian.  We can't face him yet.  See the obsidian on 
the rock column?  Go hit the save point first incase you fall and die.  
Then, get it and then jump back to the path and save again.  Go to the end 
of the path and activate the teleporter.  Don't jump off of the ledge yet!  
Air power over to the top of one of the passing rocks on the conveyor.  Then 
jump to the cave before it falls into the grinder.  Here is our final small 
crystal.  The two staffs in front of the crystal are showing whirlwind, so 
we need to hit the crystal with a whirlwind blade (Earth + Air).  Listen to 
the song that is played and notice when the crystal blinks.

Smash + Electricity + Fire + Whirlwind + Electricity + Smash + Fire

Okay, we know the full sequence of the song now.  Exit the room and jump 
down to the ground level.  Collect all the gems but don't take the digger 
back to the Earth Realm!  The pulley we rode down will still be down! Plus 
we need to get another disc fragment!  So air power back up to the ledge and 
save.  Then make your way back to the scoop and ride it like before.  Jump 
off at the same point and ride the conveyor and meet up with the scoop for 
the second time.  Now, last time we dropped off of the scoop early to get an 
obsidian.  This time ride it a little bit longer and jump off at the top of 
the hill.  Slide down to the ledge and approach the acid rock 2.  Melt it 
with your acid blade and do the same to the one behind it.  Claim your Fire 
Disc Fragment 3.  Drop down and take the pulley back up and head to town.

-- Town --
Go to the Temple of the Elements and hit the save point.  Go to the Fire 
Realm.

-- Fire Realm --
Hit the save point.  This time, do not take the path to the left.  Continue 
straight to the Fire Guardian's Stronghold.

-- Fire Realm: Fire Guardian's Stronghold --
Hit the save point.  Go to the right and jump up on the rocks.  Jump to the 
top of the Stronghold's walls.  Claim the obsidian and collect the gems.  
Jump back down and go to the left and jump up to the rocks and then the 
wall.  Collect the gems.  Jump back down and hit the save point.  Melt the 
acid blocks.  Go to the rocks to the left and search in-between them for 
gems.  Walk along the top of the rocks and claim the obsidian.  Jump to the 
Stronghold's wall and collect the gems.  Jump down and go back toward the 
save point.  Go to the ice block and melt it.  Continue down the path and up 
the ladder.  Jump down the rocks to below.  Stand on the seal to lower the 
statue's mouth.  Activate the switch inside and then go back out and to the 
right and climb the ladder.  Make your way down the steps to the next room.  
Collect the gems and claim the obsidian inside the middle bowl in the room.  
By now you should have collected enough gems to increase the fuel cell for 
your Air Power.  Take the elevator up and claim your highest Fire Power!  
When the mine car raises quickly air power over to the wall to claim the 
gems.  Then jump back down and ride the mine car.  When it stops, jump to 
the ladder and climb up.  Go across the path and then half way up the 
stairs.  Get up on the edge of the stairs on the right and air power over to 
the obsidian.  Jump down and make your way back to the mine car.  Ride it 
and then make your way up the stairs.  If you look over the balcony you can 
see another obsidian.  We can't get it until we have Air Power 3.  Hit the 
save point.  Climb the ladder for our first boss battle.

Fire Guardian
This battle happens in three stages.  Equip one of your shields and keep it 
equipped!  I use the ice shield against fire (Earth + Air).  Notice the red 
and green creatures in the corner that refill your elemental powers.  That 
tells us we need to use the Fire Blade against the guardian to hurt him the 
most.  Avoid the trials of fire he makes toward you.  When he relocates to a 
new area he increases his arsenal against you.  Keep your shield up!  After 
he is defeated, claim the Fire Disc Fragment 4.

Watch Azuirk place the Fire Disc back to its proper location.

Go down to the second floor of the Temple.  You should have 52 obsidians 
now.  Unlock the barrier to raise your life meter.  Go to the first floor of 
the Temple and hit the save point.  The next course of action is to get our 
highest Water Power.  That resides in the Air Realm and currently we have no 
way of getting there!  So lets get things in motion by getting the third 
Water Disc Fragment that we couldn't get before and then take on the Water 
Guardian to complete the disk.  We are going to the Fire Realm, but let's 
take the back door in.  Go to the Stormy Water Realm and enter the giant 
tube under the water.

-- Fire Realm: Electrical Forest --
Climb up the ladder and make your way to the teleporter.  Teleport to the 
beginning of the electrical forest.  Go back past the save point and enter 
the Fire Realm.

-- Fire Realm --
We arrive right at the Flame Generator.  Circle around it and take the 
elevator up.  Use the Smash Blade to get past the barrier (Air + Fire + 
Earth).  Claim the Water Disc Fragment 3.  Now lets go back to the 
electrical forest.  Lets not take the teleporter as we have unfinished 
business here.  Go in the doorway past the electrical tree.  Take the 
pathway to the right under the archway and pop the rock we couldn't before 
to the collect the gems.  Now, make your way down the path to the save 
point.  Go in the doorway to the three platforms.  Jump to the last platform 
and then fall down to the doorway below. Use your air power to make it in 
the doorway.  Otherwise you will fall right past it into the lava below.  
Continue along the path to the next platform.  Jump to it and then to the 
path behind it.  Don't let it take you up!  We are taking the old original 
path.  Follow the pathway to the next platform and take it up.  Go past the 
electrical trees.  Follow the path out to the pit.  Ah, what we finally came 
for!  Air Power over to the obsidian on the ledge, then air power back over.  
Continue up the path the normal way and let the geyser shoot you up.  Follow 
the path over to where all the electrical trees are.  Jump down to the rocks 
below so the fall isn't so high.  Go to the teleporter and teleport.  Go 
back to the Stormy Water Realm then swim to the Water Realm.

-- Water Realm --
Swim down into the first gorge right in front of you.  Go deep into the 
water and hit the save point.  Now, float back up and swim into the seal on 
the side of the rock.  Enter the tube for our second boss fight.

Water Guardian
Her tentacles are made of water.  So how can we hurt water?  Only by a quick 
temperature change.  Use your Ice Blade to freeze a tentacle. (Air + Water + 
Earth).  Then quickly before it thaws, hit it with your Steam Blade (Water + 
Fire).  Once you have destroyed all of her tentacles she will be defeated.  
Claim the Water Disc Fragment 4.

Watch Azuirk place the Water Disc back to its proper location.  Then we see 
that the whirlpool has receded.

Go to the first floor of the Temple and hit the save point.  Go to the Earth 
Realm.

-- Earth Realm --
Take the teleporter.  Go up the path and jump in one of the buckets on the 
first digger you come to.  We are going to the Great Tree area.  Look up 
above the digger to see the giant tree.  You're on the right digger if you 
see it.

-- Earth Realm: Great Tree --
As soon as the digger drops you look to the left and up.  See the obsidian?  
We need air power 3 to get it.  If you look up above the digger you can see 
a disc fragment in the hole of the rock.  That is our objective here and 
nothing else.  Follow the path to the save point and save.  Follow the path 
to the left and melt the acid rock.  Collect the obsidian.  Jump down.  
Collect all the gems on land then jump in the water.  Collect all the gems 
and then swim to the light.  Collect the obsidian behind the large tree root 
close to where the light is shining down.  Be sure to follow the underwater 
tunnel that leads to the inside of the tree and collect the gems.  Then, 
swim back toward the light and swim up and climb up to the tree.  Jump off 
of the tree root to the right and circle around to the first path.  Dowse 
the wall of fire and let the geyser shoot you up.  Activate the spotlight 
and aim it at the red globe on the right.  Climb down in front of the 
spotlight and step on the bronze square.  Ride the zip line to the end.  
Melt the acid block and make your way to the top.  Activate the spotlight 
and aim it at the red globe on the right.  Ignore the slick path to your 
left and go to the wall of fire.  Drop down to get the obsidian.  Air power 
over to the rock in the middle of the lava and then to the wall of fire on 
your left.  Watch out for the lavalars!  Pop the rock and collect the 
obsidian.  Jump back to the rock in the lava and then to the path on the 
left.  Recognize where we are?  We are back where we started.  Take the path 
back to the Great Tree and circle around to the right.  Take the first path 
to the right.  This is the Big Crystal room.  For now we do not need to mess 
with it.  This will be for later in the game.  Ignore it for now.  Go past 
it and hit the save point.  Then go back past the crystal to the Great Tree.  
Circle to the right and to the path with the gap.  Jump across the gap.  In-
between some rocks on your right there are vines on the wall.  Climb up.  
Activate the spotlight and aim it at the red globe to the right.  We have 
now activated the lifts to take us up to the second level to the other three 
spotlights.  We will have to readjust some spotlights.  This was just to 
activate the lifts.  Climb back down the wall and let the lift take you up.  
Take the path to the right.  Activate the spotlight and aim it at the blue 
globe on the left.  Ignore the path to the right for now and go back to the 
left.  Ignore the geyser and take the path behind it.  Activate the 
spotlight and aim it at the red globe on the right.  Continue along the path 
to the left and hit the save point.  Ignore the slick path with the gems on 
it for now and keep going to the left past the other lift and air power over 
the gap.  Activate the spotlight and aim it at the red globe on the left.  
Go back to the save point. Slide down the path across from the save point 
collecting the gems.  Climb up the vines. Point the spotlight to the blue 
globe on the left.  Drop back down and ride the zip line. Jump to the tree 
root and go to the tree.  Fall off of the left side of the root and go back 
to the path that has the gap.  Climb up the vines and go to the spotlight.  
Aim it at the blue globe to the right.  We have now completed the spotlights 
and the beam to take us back to the Earth Realm is active.  Climb back down 
the vines and take the lift up.  Go to the left to the path we haven't been 
down yet blocked by an acid block.  Jump over the stream of water and melt 
the acid block.  Slide down the path and collect the gems.  Use your air 
power to slow down so you don't miss any.  Go past the wall of fire and air 
power over the lava to the next lift.  Take it up and go to the left and hit 
the save point.  Go to the geyser and let it shoot you up into the blue 
beam.  You automatically claim the Earth Disc Fragment 3 along the way.

-- Earth Realm --
We are up on the tower.  Take the bridge to the main pathway.  Our next 
target is to confront the Earth Guardian.  Normally, we would take the first 
pulley down to the Desert Area and make our way to him from there.  But 
there is a problem with this.  After every guardian we defeat where are we 
automatically transported?  Town!  That means the pulley will still be 
lowered! So let's go in the back door to the Desert Area directly to where 
the Earth Guardian is.  Follow the main path to the save point.  Continue 
down the path and then go left before you reach the second pulley.  Climb 
down to where the digger is.  Jump in one of the buckets to be taken to the 
other side.

-- Earth Realm: Desert Area --
We've been here before remember?  (Note: if you did somehow manage to leave 
the Desert Area with the pulley down this is where you need to go to get 
back to it to take it up.  But in this walkthrough we won't have that 
problem.)  Make your way past the conveyors to the ledge.  Air Power up and 
then hit the save point.  Follow the path around and step on the seal to 
enter the Earth Guardian's realm.

Earth Guardian
Our next boss battle - relatively easy.  You cannot attack the Earth 
Guardian.  Your objective is to find the four acid blocks and melt them.  
That's it!  I recommend putting up any one of your shields to protect you 
from the Rock Shards the Earth Guardian throws at you.  Do not waste your 
time killing enemies.  They just re-spawn in a couple of seconds.  Find the 
elemental creatures to refill your powers if needed.  Avoid the sand 
tornadoes!  They will lift you up and make you an easy target for the Earth 
Guardian to hit you.  Once the four acid blocks are melted the Earth 
Guardian will be defeated.  Go to his platform and claim the Earth Disc 
Fragment 4.

Watch Azurik place the Earth Disc back to its proper location.  Then we see 
a spaceship land where the whirlpool was.

Go to the first floor of the Temple and hit the save point.  Go to the Water 
Realm.

-- Water Realm --
That spaceship is our ride to the Air Realm!  Swim out to the spaceship but 
don't get on it yet!  Swim under it and then go straight down to the bottom.  
It's a long way down to collect this obsidian.  Just watch out for the giant 
octopus hiding in the hole!  No, just kidding.  Float back up to the surface 
and then swim to the save point floating on the water near the floating 
teleporter.  You need to do this since we are about to engage in another 
boss battle.  Then make your way to the spaceship.

Balthazar
The big boy wants to play a little huh?  No problem!  We'll wipe the deck of 
the ship with his...well...you know.  Equip one of your shields and keep it 
equipped during the entire battle.  It will take a long time to defeat 
Balthazar with just your Axion.  You need to equip a power.  But you need to 
pay attention to what color Balthazar's clothes are.  You don't need to hit 
him with a power that matches his clothes otherwise you will heal him and 
not hurt him!  Example: If his clothes are blue don't hit him with your 
water power.  Don't give him time to adapt to what power you are using.  I 
find it best to switch to a different power just before you strike him.  
Then switch to something else right before you hit him again.  Keep this 
pattern up until he succumbs.

-- Air Realm: Rain Machine --
Hit the save point.  You can crawl down the ladder on your left and collect 
a multi-colored globe to refill your powers if needed.  Activate your 
electrical shield and make your way down the path.  This will protect you 
from the flying enemies and provide easy health.  Once you reach the middle 
go left.  Jump across the fans to claim the obsidian.  Jump back and go left 
and activate the switch.  Just after the switch look to the left.  See the 
obsidian sitting on top of the water valve?  Use your air power to jump to 
the side of the valve and climb up.  Claim it and then come back to the main 
circular path.  Ride the zip line down located at the switch.  Collect the 
gems on the way down.  Climb up the ladder.  This valve puzzle was simply 
trial and error until I figured it out.  You need to open all the valves 
before you can ride down from the top slide.  Try and figure it out, if you 
can't here is the answer.  Activate the yellow, red, and green switches.  Go 
to the save point and save.  Collect all the gems and then jump across the 
fans to collect the obsidian.  Then let a fan shoot you back up.  Go inside 
the dome and take the elevator up to the second level.  Same deal, activate 
the switch, ride the zip line down.  Collect the gems on the way down.  Try 
not to go too fast or you will fly off of the slide!  At the end you will 
claim your highest water power!  Go hit the save point and have a fan shoot 
you up.  This time take the elevator to the third level.  Activate the 
switch and ride the zip line down.  Collect the obsidian on the other side 
of the water tray before sliding down.  Then slide down collecting the gems.  
Be sure not to go too fast!  Collect the obsidian sitting on the side of the 
water tray.  Be careful not to fall off!  Along the way down you will claim 
the Life Disc Fragment 2.  Go hit the save point then let a fan shoot you 
back up.  Go back to the spaceship.  Activate the switch in the spaceship to 
have it land at the next area.

-- Air Realm: Air Purifier --
Hit the save point.  Climb down the ladder to your left and claim the 
obsidian in the hole.  Climb back up and air power over to the gold 
teleporter.  See the disc fragment?  We will be able to get that when we 
leave this place.  Step on the teleporter.  Go past any wall of fire and 
jump down to any one of the slides and let the fan shoot you up.  Air power 
over to the middle and melt the ice block to activate the fan.  Step on the 
platform and let it take you down.  Hit the save point and claim the multi-
colored globe.  Use the cannon to blast off the ice from the rotator links.  
Hit the save point.  Fall down through the hole and go past any wall of 
fire.  I use this time to fall down the other slides and collect the gems.  
Once finished, it is now time to jump to one of the rotator links.  You will 
need to repeat this process three times until you have connected all the 
tubes and get the purifier working again.  Jump to a rotator link.  Ride it 
to a floating island and jump to it.  Jump to the ladder and climb up.  Jump 
down to the island on the other side and collect the gem.  Jump back to the 
ladder and climb up.  Then, climb down the ladder in the middle and stop at 
the bottom.  Wait for a hydro tube to pick you up.  It will do it 
automatically so you don't have to jump for it.  Get off at the cumulus 
island.  Collect the gems and then let the fan shoot you up and melt the ice 
block.  Watch the tube extend and then let the fan shoot you up into the 
tube.  Above the ladder you can see our Air Power 3.  We can't get it until 
we finish getting the machine working.  Drop down to the platform and hit 
the save point.  Repeat this process until all three tubes are connected.  
Don't forget to claim all the gems on the rotator links.  After collecting 
all the gems you should have enough to increase your fuel cells for your 
Earth Power and Water Power for the third time.  After connecting the third 
tube the fan below the air power activates.  Climb up the ladder and jump to 
the fan.  Let the air current take you up to claim your highest air power!  
Also, let the current float you up to the top outside of the hole to claim 
the obsidian.  Drop back down the hole all the way to the platform.  Take it 
down and hit the save point.  Drop down again but don't take the teleporter 
yet!  Go past any wall of fire and jump in a hole and slide down.  Let the 
fan shoot you up and then air power over to the middle.  Now, watch the tops 
of the rotator links go by and jump to the ones that have an obsidian on 
them.  You should get 3 obsidians.  Now take the platform down and hit the 
save point.  Fall down and step on the teleporter.  Fly out and claim Air 
Disc Fragment 1.  Fly back and hit the save point.  Take the spaceship back 
to the Water Realm.

-- Water Realm --
Go to the beach and air power over to the obsidian on the island.  You 
should have 69 obsidians now.  Let's go claim some more and a disc fragment 
before we go to the Temple of the Elements.  Go to town and then to the 
Earth Realm.

-- Earth Realm --
Don't take the teleporter.  Instead, go the long original route.  See the 
disc fragment up on the ledge and the obsidian in the stone room?  This is 
what we are going to get.  Follow the path to the digger and go left up the 
hill.  Use your electrical shield to get past the barrier.  Claim the Air 
Disc Fragment 2 and collect the obsidian.  Go past the digger and to the 
main Earth Realm area.  Follow the path down and hit the save point.  Take 
the second pulley down.  Melt the acid block and claim the obsidian.  Take 
the pulley back up.  Follow the path down to ground level and take the path 
to the left of the waterfall.  Slide down the stream to the water below.  
Make your way to the next room with the pulley.  Jump up on the rocks to the 
left of the pulley and then air power over to the archway.  Walk up it to 
claim the obsidian and the gems.  Drop off to the ground and take the 
sliding path back to the water realm.  Collect the gems you missed the first 
time using your air power to slow down.  Go back to town.

-- Town --
Go to the Temple of the elements and take the elevator up to the second 
floor.  You should have 72 obsidians now.  Unlock the next two barriers and 
claim a key and increase your life meter.  Go back to the first floor of the 
Temple and hit the save point.  Travel down to the bridge that only has half 
of the planks.  Use your air power to get to the other side.  Place the key 
and you can now fill your elemental powers to full at anytime.  Air power 
back over to the main path.  Don't go into the sewers yet!  Go to the Earth 
Realm.

-- Earth Realm --
Take the teleporter.  Jump in the digger that takes you to the Great Tree.

-- Earth Realm: Great Tree --
Hit the save point.  Go past the big crystal for now and take one of the 
lifts up to the second level.  Make your way to the where the geyser is that 
lifts you up into the blue beam.  Hit the save point along the way.  Stand 
on the edge next to the geyser and air power straight over to the ledge.  
Claim the obsidian and then drop down.  Hit the save point.  Now go to the 
big crystal.  Remember the song we logged after activating the four smaller 
crystals?  We have to play that song on this crystal to get the doors to the 
Great Tree to open up.  It goes as follows:

Smash + Electricity + Fire + Whirlwind + Electricity + Smash + Fire

The doors to the Great Tree are now open.  Go in the tree and take the lift 
up.  Exit off of the lift and notice the three tubes.  We need to get the 
keys before we can activate the tubes.  Exit the inside of the tree and 
activate the teleporter.  Collect all the gems on the pathway that circles 
the tree.  Then at the oracle jump to the fan and let it shoot you up.  Keep 
either your electrical shield or your smash shield activated to keep the 
flying enemies from knocking you off of the tree.  Drop down to the pool of 
water.  Jump to the obsidian on the ledge of the tree and then jump back.  
Drop down to the next pool of water.  Jump to the platform.  Recommended you 
use the creatures to refill your air power fuel cell.  You are going to be 
doing a lot of jumping here.  Jump from rock to rock quickly, as some of 
them crumble and fall apart once you land on them.  Jump to the fan and let 
it shoot you up.  Climb up the ladder.  Collect all the gems on the circular 
path and at the ends of the rotating platforms.  Then jump to the hole in 
the tree where the platforms are flying through.  By now you should have 
collected enough gems to increase the fuel cell for your Fire Power for the 
third time.  Ignore the ladder for now.  Go past the level 3 acid block (we 
will have to come back for this later) and climb up the ladder and activate 
the switch.  Climb back down the ladder and go climb up the first ladder we 
past.  Wait for a platform and jump to it.  Ride it to the pod we just 
activated and jump in it when it opens to claim a key.  You land on a save 
point.  Take the platform down and then match the key up to the correct tube 
(purple gems).

Tube 1 - Purple Gems
Standing on the edge close to the rocks that go up, look down to see the 
obsidian below you on the lower ledge.  Fall down and get it then climb back 
up.  Then quickly make your way across the rocks that go up.  Once you reach 
the tree branch, circle around to the right and activate the switch.  Now 
jump to the rocks and go across them to where the elemental creatures are.  
You need to time your jump so that you land in the pod when it is open and 
claim the key.  You automatically land on the save point.  Take the platform 
down and then go right back up tube 1.  This time, make your way across the 
other rocks.  Put up your electrical or smash shield to protect you from the 
flying enemies.  I find that the flying enemies are easily killed with your 
water power.  Jump to the fan and let it shoot you up.  Jump to a flying 
platform.  Drop down in the pool to claim an obsidian and then ride the zip 
line.  Jump back to the fan and let it shoot you up again.  Jump to a 
platform again.  Jump to the switch and activate it.  Jump back to a 
platform and jump into the pod to claim another key.

Tube 2 - Green/Red Gems
Place the key and let the tube pull you in.  Along the ride you will claim 
the Air Disc Fragment 3.  Jump down to the top of the tube without falling 
off.  Air power over to where the zip line is.  Ride the fan up, jump to a 
platform, jump to the pod.  You land on the save point.  Go to the final 
tube.

Tube 3 - Blue/Green Gems
Place the key and let the tube pull you in.  Jump to one of the rotating 
platforms.  Collect the gems around the path and at the ends of the rotating 
platforms.  Then stand out at the end of one of the platforms and jump to 
the teleporter and activate it.  Then jump back and stand on the seal to go 
to the next lift.  Take the lift up.

-- Air Realm: Air Guardian's Realm --
Melt all the ice blocks.  You will claim two obsidians in the process.  Hit 
the save point.  Now take a minute and observe the pathways.  There is a 
green one, a blue one, and a red one.  You can also take note that there are 
three areas that can only be reached by jumping from rock to rock.  Before 
we do anything we need to claim our last Earth Power.  What color is our 
Earth Power?  Green!  So let's go up the green path.  Use the elemental 
creatures to fill your air power.  We see that the machine requires a key to 
activate it.  We'll have to find it but first, air power over to the 
floating rock behind the machine and claim your highest Earth Power!  
Congratulations!  We are now back to full strength!  Air power over from 
rock to rock to the obsidian then to the teleporter.  We are teleported back 
to the green island at the top of it.  Collect the obsidian!  Jump to the 
floating rock below and then drop down.  Now, remember what we looked at 
when we first got here:  3 pathways and 3 floating rock areas.  There is a 
machine on each island and the keys to activate them are in the floating 
rock areas.  Go back down the path to the central hub and save.  Now you can 
do this in any order.  Simply go from rock to rock and collect the key at 
the end.  Then jump from rock to rock back to central hub and save.  Do this 
to all three floating rock areas and collect all three keys.  Be sure to 
save after you complete one area.  You should collect enough gems to 
increase your air power fuel cell for the third time.  You will also collect 
another obsidian after melting the acid blocks.  Now simply go up the green, 
blue and red paths and place the keys in the machinery to activate it.  Then 
you need to point the laser beam at the one of the three globes on top of 
the central hub.  Have fun zapping enemies with the laser beams.  Once you 
have all three aligned, hit the save point.  Then climb up the ladder and 
step in the light to be taken to the next boss battle.

Air Guardian
Equip a shield and keep it up.  She will spawn multiples of herself.  Kill 
her duplicates fast and then attack her.  I find you can make very short 
work of her by using your electricity blade.  After hitting her about 6-8 
times you can finish her off with your water power.  Claim the Water Disc 
Fragment 4.

Watch Azurik place the Air Disc back to its proper location.

Go to the second floor of the Temple.  You should have 81 obsidians now.  
Unlock the barrier to upgrade the power of your Axion to its highest.  Go to 
the first floor of the Temple and hit the save point.  Now, the next place 
we need to go to is the Life Realm, but we only have two of the disc 
fragments so we can't get past the seal.  You remember where the third disc 
fragment is don't you?  What do you mean no?  You've walked right past it at 
least five times!  Okay, okay!  We'll go get it.  Go to the Earth Realm.

-- Earth Realm --
Take the teleporter and then take the first pulley down to the Desert area 
and hit the save point.  Then go through the tunnel past the drill to the 
Volcano Area.

-- Earth Realm: Volcano Area 1 --
Take the teleporter.  Okay, now you see it up on the ledge?  Go up the path 
and hit the save point.  Melt the acid block we couldn't get past until now.  
Claim the Life Disc Fragment 3.  Follow the path into the volcano.  Let the 
geyser shoot you up and Azurik will automatically grab onto the zip line.  
Don't touch the controller!  Azurik will hop across the next three geysers 
all by himself and land on a ledge with another zip line.  Ride the zip line 
and then claim the obsidian we couldn't reach before.  Drop down off of the 
ledge and follow the path back to the ladder we raised with the drill.  
Climb down and go back to the pulley and back to the Earth Realm and then to 
town.

-- Town --
Go to the Temple of the Elements and hit the save point.  In the middle of 
this room is the seal to go to the Life Realm.  Step on it.

Here is a head's up for what we are about to get into.  Simply put these are 
the pros and cons of the Life Realm.

Pros
- The Life Realm is the shortest Realm of them all.
- No obsidians to find and collect, just gems.

Cons
- Only one save point.
- Contains the HARDEST part of the entire game.
- You CAN'T leave until you have completed the Realm.

-- Life Realm --
Space...the final frontier.  This is the voyage of the small blue guy saving 
the world.  Hit the save point.  That's it!  Your butt isn't leaving here 
now!  Ha-ha!  Okay, facing the oracle with your back to the save point go up 
the left path.  Don't worry you can walk on the purple barrier.  Activate 
the switch to enable the walkway.  Walk up the newly activated path to the 
key holder.  We need a key before activating the rest of the walkway.  Face 
the giant crystal and look to the walkway on the right.  See the platform 
rotating on the ring?  We can't go that way yet.  We haven't activated the 
switch to stop it from rotating.  Look to the pathway on your left.  The 
platform is stationary at the top of the ring.  Air power over to the 
walkway and notice the key on top of the platform.  We have to get that key.  
Walk directly up under the platform and then face the giant crystal.  Right 
in front of you is a sloped surface you can jump on.  Jump to it and stand 
at the sloped surface's highest point without going down the other side.  
You should now be standing directly above where the purple pilot light 
passes below you.  Look at the giant crystal and see the vertical beam that 
is slowly rotating around it?  You can see two ledges on it.  Jump down to 
the bottom ledge when it passes by.  You shouldn't even have to use your air 
power to get to it.  Walk around behind it and climb up the ladder to the 
ledge.  You will have to wait until you circle back around and then air 
power over to the key.  Drop down off of the platform and air power back 
over to where the key holder is.  Make sure to air power over to the one 
that has the walkway we activated!

I placed the key in the holder and the wrong pathway started rotating on me!  
Drat!  That's okay though.  I can still do what I need to do.  I only miss 
out on collecting a couple of gems.  At this point in the game it doesn't 
matter.  You won't collect enough gems to increase your fuel cells anymore 
than where they already are.  If you want to try it the hard way like I had 
to do it and have yourself a challenge then keep on reading.  If you don't 
then go to the Non-Goofed section below so you can get the gems.  Place the 
key in the holder.  Hey!  The wrong pathway is rotating now!  That's okay.  
Walk back down the path to the oracle and back up the other way.  Activate 
the switch.  Continue up the path.  Jump to the pathway on the right since 
the other one is rotating.  Repeat what we did before to get up on the ledge 
of the beam rotating around the crystal.  Air power over to the platform and 
collect the key.  You may have to fly around the rotating pathway like I 
did.  Wait for the vertical beam to circle around and jump back to the 
ledge.  Again, you may have to fly around the rotating pathway like I did, 
but you should be a veteran player for controlling Azurik by now.  Wait 
until you circle around and air power back over to the stationary pathway.  
Drop down and air power over and place the key to enable the pathway going 
up.
:: End Goof ::

:: Non-Goofed Way ::
DO NOT place the key in the holder!  Walk back down the walkway past the 
oracle and up the other way.  Activate the switch.  Continue up the path.  
Jump to the pathway on the left.  Repeat what we did before to get up on the 
ledge of the beam rotating around the crystal.  Air power over to the 
platform and collect the key.  Drop down off of the platform and air power 
back over to where the empty key holder is.  Place the key to enable the 
pathway going up.  Don't go up yet.  Go back down the pathway past the 
oracle and back up the other side.  Go to the second key holder and place 
the key to enable the pathway going up.
:: End Non-Goofed Way ::

Okay, whichever method you used, the goofed or the non-goofed way, we should 
all be on the same page now.  Both pathways are rotating and we have placed 
both keys and have activated the pathways going up.  Go up the pathway and 
activate the switch to enable the pathway to the very top.  We are shown a 
quick cut scene that shows us the last disc fragment.  But to get it to 
lower we must trek all the way back down and back up the other side and 
activate the other switch to enable the last pathway to the top.  Do it.  
Hit the save point on your way back up.  Activate the second switch and the 
disc fragment lowers.  Go to the top and jump to where the disc fragment is.  
We can't get it yet.  Activate the switch to start the hardest part of the 
entire game.  You must guide the Pilot Light through all of the Filament 
Cores rotating around the giant crystal.  There are a total of 20 and a 
counter tells you how many are left.  The only advice I can give is you have 
the ability to slow down and speed up the pilot light.  There is no time 
limit.  This may take you minutes, hours or days to get it.  Just keep 
working at it.  Good Luck.  I got EXTREMELY lucky and finally completed it 
in about 11 minutes.  Claim the Life Disc Fragment 4.

Watch Azurik place the Life Disc back to its proper location.

Go to the first floor of the Temple and SAVE!  Now, our next course of 
action is to recover the Death Disc.  But before we continue our quest into 
the Death Realm, lets go around and get the rest of the obsidians we were 
unable to get the first time we went by them.  Our first one is in town.  Go 
over to the Elemental Restore Temple.  Look in the rocks to the left and 
claim the obsidian.  Now go to the Fire Realm for our next one.

-- Fire Realm --
Hit the save point.  Go straight down the path like you are going to the 
Fire Guardian's Stronghold except take the tunnel to the left just before 
it.  Follow the path and melt the acid block and claim the obsidian.  While 
we are here, go to the Fire Guardian's Stronghold.

-- Fire Realm: Fire Guardian's Stronghold --
Hit the save point.  Keep going straight to the barrier and go through the 
sliding metal doors.  Get in the mine car and ride it then jump to the 
ladder.  Climb up and then make your way to the stairs and up to the 
balcony.  Hit the save point.  Go to the edge of the balcony and then air 
power over to the highest part of the Stronghold's wall.  Claim the 
obsidian.  Now go back to town and then go to the Water Realm and make your 
way to the Ice Islands.

-- Water Realm: Ice Islands --
Go to the middle of the bridge that is to the left of the oracle.  Air power 
over to the obsidian.  Go to the bridge to the right of the oracle and cross 
over to the island.  Jump to the floating iceberg and then air power over to 
the obsidian.  Now go to the Great Tree in the Earth Realm and ride the lift 
up.

-- Earth Realm: Great Tree -- 
Exit the tree and go to the oracle.  Let the fan shoot you up.  Drop down to 
the pool of water.  Drop down to the next pool of water.  Jump to the 
platform.  Jump from rock to rock quickly and then to the fan and let it 
shoot you up.  Climb up the ladder.  Jump to the hole in the tree where the 
platforms are flying through.  Melt the level 3 acid block and claim the 
obsidian.  Climb up the ladder and jump to a platform when it goes by.  Jump 
into the pod when it opens up.  You land on a save point.  Take the lift 
back down to the Great Tree and then exit back to town.

-- Town --
Go to the Temple of the Elements and hit the save point.  You should have 88 
obsidians now.  Go to the Elemental Restore Temple.  Fill your elemental 
powers to max and then go back to the bridge.  See the sewer opening to the 
right of the bridge?  Air power over to it.

-- Town: Sewers --
From here on we will meet the Deluvian Stalkers and some of our old friends.  
They are invisible until they try to attack you.  They can take a beating 
unless you attack them with a whirlwind blade (Earth + Air).  I recommend 
just running past them in the sewers so you don't waste your light.  Inside 
these sewers it is pitch black.  You will need to activate your fire power 
to see.  If you get caught in the sewers with no fire power you're screwed 
and will most likely have to restart the game.  Starting from the entrance 
take the path to the left and collect the obsidian at the end.  Go back to 
the entrance.  Starting at the entrance go straight, right, left, left and 
then collect the obsidian on the left.  Exit the sewers and go back to the 
Temple of the Elements.

-- Town --
Go to the second floor.  You should have 90 obsidians now.  Unlock the 
barrier and raise your life meter to its highest.  Go back to the sewers.  
Make sure to stop by the Elemental Restore Temple and refill your powers!

-- Town: Sewers --
Starting at the entrance go straight, right, left, left, right and then you 
will approach an elevator.  Don't jump on the elevator yet!  Collect the two 
obsidians first.  Now ride the elevator down.

Obsidian Note:
That is it!  We have collected a total of 92 obsidians!  That is all I could 
find and I will leave it to you to find the remaining 8.  There are no 
obsidians in the Death Realm.  When you collect all the obsidians you can 
unlock the last barrier in the Temple of the Elements.  This will make your 
elemental powers use half as much fuel.  Well, right now we have gone 
through 95% of the game without it and the last remaining areas we will go 
we really don't need it.  So you can go find the rest if you wish.  I got us 
powered up as far as we really needed to be.

-- Death Realm --
Step on the seal to lower the barrier.  Walk along the path.

-- Movie --
The Death Guardian approaches Azurik.  Surprisingly, he confesses he was 
only using Balthazar and offers us the Death Disc.  Before Azurik can get 
it, Balthazar sneaks up behind the Death Guardian and kills him.  (That's 
one guardian we don't have to fight!)  We see Balthazar has morphed into an 
evil creature resembling a spider.  He uses his powers and opens the ground 
beneath Azurik and he falls into the depths of the Death Realm.

We land on a moving conveyor belt.  Jump to the oracle on the left and hit 
the save point.  Get back on the conveyor belt.  Follow the direction the 
belt is running to the first teleport rock.  We emerge and follow the belt 
to the next teleport rock.  We emerge and fall all the way down into the 
water below.  Swim to one of the four lifts and ride it up back to the 
conveyor belts.  Don't worry about which one to take because they all end up 
in the same place.  Ride the belt to the teleport rock.  We emerge.  Do not 
jump off of the belt to the globes below and do not jump to the floating 
rock!  Ride to the next teleport rock.  We emerge and then we enter one of 
the buildings.  Put up one of your shields and try not to get crushed.  Jump 
off of the conveyor to either the right or left side.  Take the small lift 
up and claim the key.  Activate the red switch shaped like a square to stop 
the cutters.  Quickly jump down to the conveyor belt and run past them 
before they start back up.  Ride the belt out of the building and jump to 
the rock on your left.  Ride it up and get one of the globes to refill your 
powers.  Go back to the rock and get back on the conveyor belt.  Ride it to 
the next teleport rock.  We emerge.  Jump to the rock on the right and ride 
it up.  Air power over to the key and claim it.  Then fall off of the 
building to the conveyor and go in the building.  Quickly get off of the 
conveyor on the left or right side.  If you stay on it the conveyor will 
drop out and let you fall into the vat below.  Let a lift take you down and 
claim the key that is below.  Jump on the conveyor at the very end of the 
building and ride to the next teleport rock.  We emerge and go to the next 
building.  Get off the conveyor immediately like before and claim the key 
below.  Jump on the conveyor at the very end of the building.  Do not jump 
on the rock to the left.  Ride the conveyor to the teleport rock.  See the 
rock that floats up to the right side of the conveyor?  Jump to it and ride 
it down!  Jump from rock to rock to be lowered to the building.  Go in 
either doorway and approach the doorway with the key inside.  Go get the key 
and exit from inside the barrier room.  Go up either flight of stairs at the 
ends of the building.  Hit the save point in the middle of the room.  
Explore both rooms and you will find a key.  Claim the key by removing the 
barrier by activating the switch in front of it.  You should have six keys 
now.  Hit the save point in the middle of the room.  Exit the building and 
jump down into the water.  Swim to a lift and ride it back up to the 
conveyor belts.  Go to the teleport rock.  We emerge and this time we don't 
want to go to the next teleport rock.  Instead, jump to the floating rock on 
the right side of the conveyor and let it take you up.  Jump to the conveyor 
belt.  Go AGAINST the direction of the conveyor belt and you will see a 
floating rock come down on the right side of the conveyor.  Jump to it and 
then jump to the conveyor.  Go against the direction again and jump over to 
the save point.  Now, we need to make our way up.  Jump back to the conveyor 
and then go down the first conveyor path to the left.  You will be going 
against the direction of the belt.  Go to the end and then air power over to 
the ice rock on the right.  Jump to the floating rock and ride it up.  Air 
power over to the ice rock.  Jump to the floating rock and ride it up.  Jump 
to the floating rock and ride it down.  Jump to the floating rock and ride 
it up.  It floated up too far!  Jump straight up in the air and when you 
land back on the rock it will lower.  Jump to the floating rock on the right 
and ride it up.  Jump to the ice rock.  Jump to the floating rock and ride 
it up.  Jump to the circular pathway.  A barrier blocks our path.  Place all 
six keys to remove the barrier.  Enter the tunnel.

-- Death Realm: Elevator Maze --
Hit the save point.  In the center of the room is the elevator.  You can see 
the map of the area in the center.  You can also see three colored switches.  
Activate the green switch to take the elevator up. Use the platforms that 
raise and lower to go between floors.  Go to the top floor and activate the 
switch so that the purple dot is on the right side.  Go back to the elevator 
and activate the blue switch.  Put up one of your shields and lure the 
Taculas after you.  Have them follow you so they are lined up with the 
pathway.  Then attack and kill them.  This way if you get hit you won't be 
knocked off and die.  You will simply be knocked back on the pathway.  Cross 
the path and activate the switch so that the purple dot is on the right 
side.

Special Note
The secondary path here leads back to the elevator that takes you back to 
town.  If you want to go find the remaining obsidians, do some more 
exploring, see some the Realms again, or whatever, now is the time to do it.  
When you are done, come back to the Death Realm and you will start playing 
from the next paragraph below this message.  Believe it or not, but we are 
almost finished with the game.  If there is nothing you want to do then keep 
reading and lets wrap this thing up!

Go back to the elevator and activate the red switch.  In this room we see 
another switch but it requires a key.  Lets go get it!  Go out any of the 
doorways and take the platform up.  Melt the acid block and claim the key.  
Take the elevator back down and place the key to activate the switch.  Then 
activate the switch to place the purple dot on the right side.  Go to the 
elevator and activate the green switch. You will see a key in the 
electricity stream.  Put up your electricity shield and claim the key.  Go 
to the switch on the second level and activate it so the purple dot is on 
the right.  There is nothing on the third level except a couple of gems if 
you want to collect them.  Go back to the elevator and activate the red 
switch.  Follow the path and activate the switch twice so you take the 
purple dot from the right, to the left, and then back to the right again.  
Go back to the elevator and activate the red switch (It will currently be 
highlighted in bright orange).  Activate the switch to put the purple dot on 
the left side.  Now activate the green switch on the elevator.  Go up to the 
third level and activate the switch so that the purple dot is on the left 
side.  Go back to the elevator and activate the blue switch.  Same deal here 
with the Taculas.  Don't let them knock you off of the path!  Go across the 
path to the switch and place the key to activate the switch.  Activate the 
switch to put the purple dot on the right side.  Go back to the elevator and 
activate the green switch.  The switch is on the first floor of this tri-
level area.  Activate the switch to place the purple dot on the right side.  
You can go up to the second and third level to get gems.  Go back to the 
elevator and activate the green switch.  Taculas again!  Don't get knocked 
off!  Go across the path and activate the switch to place the purple dot on 
the right side.  You can find a multi-colored globe behind one of the rocks 
to fill your elemental powers to max.  Go back to the elevator and activate 
the red switch.  Melt the ice block to claim the key.  Activate the switch 
to place the purple dot on the right side.  Go back to the elevator and 
activate the green switch.  Place the key to activate the switch.  Activate 
the switch to place the purple dot on the right side.  Hit the save point.

Now starts the final battle!  So give your fingers a rest if they need it, 
go to the bathroom, go eat lunch or dinner, turn the game off if a 
thunderstorm is brewing outside, or whatever you need to do.  Once the final 
battle is over the ending movies will play and you DON'T want to miss it!

Go to the elevator and hit the blue switch to start the final fight.

FINAL BOSS: BALTHAZAR
LLLLLLETS GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLEEEEEEEEE!  This is the same deal as when 
we fought Balthazar as before.  Equip one of your shields and keep it 
equipped during the entire battle.  Pay attention to what color Balthazar's 
clothes are.  You don't need to hit him with a power that matches his 
clothes otherwise you will heal him and not hurt him!  Don't give him time 
to adapt to what power you are using.  Switch to a different power just 
before you strike him with your four-hit-combo.  Then switch to something 
else right before you strike him again with your combo.  Keep this pattern 
up until he succumbs.  This time Balthazar will take more hits to defeat 
than the last time.  There is a multi-colored globe in the room to refill 
your powers.

-- Ending Movie and Credits --
I'm not going to spoil it but I will tell you that you get a well-deserved 
ending when you beat this game!  It is HILARIOUS!  So don't leave the room 
or shut the game off!  The ending runs for a good 10 minutes!

-- Final Thoughts --
I hope you have enjoyed this game and have enjoyed reading my first 
walkthrough!  This IS a hard game and hopefully this guide aided you to

V. Remaining Obsidians

I went back and completed the game a fourth time and this round came away 
with all of the obsidians.  You can find 92 out of 100 obsidians by 
following the walkthrough above.  Here are the locations of the remaining 
eight I originally missed.

1.	Water Realm - Ice Islands: Underwater cave by the central island.  No 
special items needed for this.  Simply swim up to it.
2.	Water Realm - Stormy Water Realm: Under the platform underneath the 
high bridge you walk across. No special items needed for this.  Simply 
swim up to it.
3.	Earth Realm - You enter this section from the main valley near the 
waterfall after you activate the only drill in the area.  Ride the 
rocks on the conveyor belt and jump to the ladder and climb up to the 
top of the giant tube.  Follow the tube all the way to the other side 
past the tree root and claim the obsidian. No special items needed for 
this.  Simply walk up to it.
4.	Fire Realm: After entering the Fire Realm take the path to the left 
(not toward the Fire Guardian's Stronghold).  You will see the 
obsidian directly in front of you sitting on the side of the mountain 
above a doorway.  You need Air Power 3 for this.  Fly over to it from 
the pathway.
5.	Fire Realm - Electrical Forest: On a ledge on top of the lava fall 
(not the one on the lower ledge mentioned in the walkthrough).  You 
must circle your way around to where you picked up the second key to 
get to it.  You need Air Power 3 for this.  Fly to the ledge on the 
left since you cannot grab onto the ledge on the right side of the 
obsidian.
6.	Fire Realm - Electrical Forest: This is in the area where you are 
between the waterfalls and the lava falls.  Right when you come out of 
the doorway to this area before letting the geyser shoot you up, climb 
the vines on the wall up to where the obsidian is.  No special items 
needed for this.  Simply walk up to it.
7.	Earth Realm - Great Tree - Tube 3: This one is behind the round dome 
connected to a tube.  No special items needed for this.  Simply jump 
over to it.  I recommend you have your Air Power armed and ready 
incase you miss-jump.
8.	Town - Sewers: This is in the outer pathways of the sewers that is not 
near to the elevator.  I was wandering around and found it so I don't 
have directions to it.  I leave it to you to wander around to find it.  
No special items needed for this.  Simply walk up to it.  I recommend 
you have a full cell of Fire Power 3 to keep the Sewers lit as you 
wander around.

VI. How To Videos

The top two trouble areas of the game that confuse the most people are 
actually not difficult to get around or accomplish.  The walkthrough above 
provides an explanation of what to do but some people still can't get it or 
understand it.  Unfortunately, the videos I made have been deleted and I 
have no way of re-creating them as I don't own the game or an Xbox anymore. 
Please use the walk through as best as you can. Sorry!

VII. Cheats

I have not listed any cheats because I have never used any.  If you follow 
my walkthrough a cheat is not needed.  I know there is a "quick save" cheat 
but I recommend NOT using it!  Most times than not you will use it in a 
place you are not supposed to and you will repeatedly die every time you 
start your game back.  This is why there are save points in the game.  This 
is where you need to save and nowhere else!  There are actually enough save 
points placed throughout the land of Perathia that very little back tracking 
is necessary if you die.  Recommendation: Save every time you pass a save 
point!
