                 Sorry about having to make you guys wait so long, but I
                 will assure you that it was worth the wait ^.^
                    I don't know if I should finalize my FAQ just yet, I
                 may probably post some answers to any emails worthy of my
                 notice. Remember, that I will only post answers only if 
                 the question has a certain relevance to this FAQ and if
                 it is based on a topic that has been overlooked in this
                 FAQ. My only aims are to please and to enlighten and not
                 just entertain! ^.^

    Yo! My name's Sop and I'm a huge fan of the DOA series, not just
    for the breast physics ^.^ but for the cutting edge graphics and 
    very fluent fighting styles emulated in the game.
    
    This guide, which is dedicated to my favourite DOA character - Kasumi,
    will list a variety of basic and advanced combo commands that I, Sop,
    has spent quite some time formulating and testing to see that each
    combo actually worked when executed and timed correctly. Do you have
    any idea how hard it was to come up with these combos?! No, of course
    you don't! That's why I wrote this FAQ so that all other 'wanna-be'
    Kasumi masters will not have to endure the all headaches and
    frustrations that I had to go through!
    
    Since I'm pretty much obsessed with Kasumi, I have formulated and
    mastered every single combo this girl can do! She is the only
    character I have trained with and got 10 hits 'off the bat' without
    having to slam my opponent against a wall to do it! However, due to
    lack of time, I have only listed a few of the combos that I've 
    formulated.
    
    This is the 1st version of this FAQ after all, so it's only logical 
    that I give you gamers a little taste of what I have in store for you!
    As updates progress, you'll see more and more combo commands listed
    until there isn't anything more left to write! ^.^

    a Runaway Shinobi is old news, she's actually spending time with me!
    That's how I got my other nickname - Kasumi's LuvaBoy! ;P

    3.0 - KASUMI'S STORY
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    
    Kasumi is a kunoichi (female ninja) who was ordained leader of the
    "Mugen Tenshin" style. Instead of accepting this position, she became
    a "runaway shinobi" so that she might avenge her brother, Hayate, who
    was partially paralyzed by DOATEC.
    
    Day after day she is forced to defend herself from attempts on her life
    by highly skilled assassins. Then, one day, Kasumi learns that Hayate
    is to be at the DOA tournament. Though, she finally meets her long-lost
    brother in this last tournament, it is impossible for a runaway shinobi
    ever to return home in peace. (That's why she's at my place instead! 
    Mwahahaha! ;P)
    
    
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    4.0 - ABOUT KASUMI'S FIGHTING STANCE
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    
    Kasumi fights using the Mugen Tenshin style, but the way she moves
    those streamline hips of hers can send any hot-blooded male insane!
    She's the type of girl who'll kick your ass and then ask you if you're
    alright!
    
    She has a wide array of Kick Attacks, hence the reason why she doesn't
    wear a long skirt! It's only logical that she doesn't want her clothes 
    affecting the execution of her attacks...I tell you if she had to fight 
    with no clothes on at all (which would not be a bad idea!) she wouldn't 
    even care, as long as she kicks the living daylights out of you! But we
    all know that Kasumi is a modest girl, come on! If she only catches you
    staring, she'll give it to you good and proper! (Okay! That didn't come
    out right, now, did it?! <:O )
    
    Kasumi's signature move is her Oboro technique, where she moves at
    ultra high speeds to deliver a devastating knife-edge chop to the
    opponent! Her Oboro-Giri is very useful for escaping from tight spots
    by jumping against the wall, then lunge straight at the opponent
    (she looks as though she flies straight through you! That's hot! ^.^)
    Her Sakura-Madoi and Sakura-Mayoi allows her dodge a strike so fast
    that she ends up behind you leaving only Sakura petals in her place!
    (Now that's just beautiful! :< *sniffle*)
    
    Kasumi is basically the second fastest of the four ninjas featured in
    this game (Hayate, Ayane, Ryu Hayabusa a.k.a Ninja Gaiden and the one 
    and only Kasumi-chan!). Well that's my viewpoint anyway!
    
    I've heard some people saying that she's the easiest of the four to
    master but I would have to disagree. Sure, it's no big deal executing
    her moves, but how you use those moves is what determines a "GREAT
    VICTORY" in battle! Kasumi, in my opinion, has the most amount of
    variations in linking together combos! This girl has moves all over
    the place! Damn, she's got a lot of techniques! It's almost scary!
    And that's what makes her the most unpredictable character in the
    game! 
    
    (Wow! She's gorgeous, has a really cute butt, she's got one hell of a
    'rack', she's got style and she can kick your ass in many different
    ways; Oh Kasumi darling! Please stay with me forever! ^.^ I tell you, 
    if I only get my dirty little hands on DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball, 
    my girlfriend is gonna leave me for sure!)

    comfortable during hardcore gameplay i.e when you don't have time to 
    think about which button to press!

    I'm not saying that you won't be able to do a thing without using
    this configuration, but at least try it, you've got nothing to lose

    Here is the moveslist that was taken directly from the book (pg. 28).
    It lists a very SMALL portion of the total amount of Attacks that 
    Kasumi has...well it basically consists of Kasumi's signature moves!
    If you want to find out the rest of the Moves, then you can just
    check the in-game Command List (selectable in the Pause Menu).

    7.0 - DEAD OR ALIVE 3 GAMEPLAY MECHANICS
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    
    I wasn't going to add this section at first, because it would make this
    FAQ a Walkthrough instead of a mere Character FAQ. However, I believe
    that this would give beginners a fair idea of how the gameplay mechanics
    of DOA 3 works. It should also make you appreciate the amount of thought
    and hard work that Team Ninja has placed into this game. Hence the 
    reason why I've added this section.
    
    As you all should know, DOA 3 isn't your average fighting game; It was
    the game that Team Ninja created to put Tekken 3/Tag out of its misery, 
    and boy did they do it in style! The environments in which you are 
    battling have a significant role to play in how your attacks connect
    with your opponent. For example: In the FOREST stage, the land has 
    slopes and trees, surrounded by small hills. Doing certain Throws next 
    to a tree or wall will cause your character to slam his/her opponent 
    against it. Moves that will knock back your opponent, can also have the 
    same effect. You can also use the ditches or 'holes' in the environment 
    to avoid your opponent's attacks and the same goes for your opponent as 
    well.
    
    In the LOST WORLD stage, you can knock your opponent off the edge with
    knock-back attacks or certain throws when done on an opponent who is
    close enough to the edge.
    
    In the AZUCHI stage, you can send your opponent through certain walls,
    which will place you and your opponent in a different part of the stage.
    
    Even the weather in the SNOW stage affects the gameplay! Moves that
    wouldn't normally knock your opponent into the air, will do so, if
    the breeze blowing in the stage is strong enough!
    
    By knocking your opponent into the air when he/she is next to wall will
    prevent them from falling a great distance away from you, which means
    that your juggles will do more hits and damage. By knocking your
    opponent against a wall will stun your opponent for a much longer period,
    this will usually result in your opponent bouncing off the wall, making
    them the perfect target for a barrage of combos/juggles!
    
    The best way to know that your hits are connecting, is to enable the
    Vibration in the controller; every time the control vibrates, you will 
    know that your hits are connecting.
    
    The funniest instance is in the BEACH stage, when you knock your opponent
    against a coconut tree. If your opponent stays under the tree for too long
    a coconut will fall and hit them PLOP! on the head!
    
    In every one of these instances, your opponent will take extra damage for
    it, so utilize the environment to your advantage!
    
    DOA 3 also features a Soft Press-Hard Press system, which allows for any
    type of player (Precision Players and Button Mashers) to easily get into 
    the game. Basically, when pressing the Punch button softly will make your
    character do a Jab and pressing the button hard (or tapping it) will
    make your character hit the opponent with a much more powerful attack.
    With the inclusion of this system, players will find themselves being
    absorbed into the game; It would feel as if it is YOU who is fighting!
    However, there is a downside to this feature, since there is no way
    of turning it off, you will sometimes find yourself doing moves that you
    really didn't want to do, if you aren't accustomed with this system.

    8.0 - KASUMI'S STUN MOVES
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    
    This section shall list all of the Kasumi's Attacks that have the 
    potential to stun your opponent, if it connects. When a Stun Attack 
    connnects with an opponent, you will see "Critical Hit!" written in 
    red at the top left or top-right corner of the screen (it depends on 
    which side of the field you're on). This will momentarily disable your 
    opponent from attacking or blocking, however if they recover quickly 
    enough (done by pressing the Free button multiple times) they will be 
    able to block or even counter your next attack. Stun Moves are used
    for initiating combos. Some attacks listed were not stated in the in-
    game Command List, so I've made up names for them myself! ^.^

    9.0 - KASUMI'S BACK-FACING ATTACKS

    Yes! I know there weren't any Back-Facing Attacks listed in the game
    for Kasumi but that doesn't hide the fact that she can very well defend 
    her behind! (And that goes for all you pervs who want to try something
    funny with her! :P ) That also gives me a good reason to put my
    imagination to the test once again and make up names for these moves
    as well...damn! if only I knew how to speak Japanese! (:<

    10.0 - BASIC COMBOS

    Kasumi's Stun Moves are some of the most well refined Attacks, meaning
    that they have good range and can link together with each other very
    smoothly to deliver a high number of hits, not to mention the amount
    of damage you'll be dishing out as well! In this section, I shall list
    all of Kasumi's basic combos. These combos will be stated using this
    format:-
    
                 Combo Starter <-- The Stun Move used to initate the combo.
                 Continuation  <-- The Stun Move used to further damage the
                                   opponent.
                 Finisher      <-- An Attack that will fall your opponent.
    
    
    I will also be kind enough to include the names of the attacks and I'll
    try to state the ways of executing these for both Precision Players and
    Button Mashers.
    
    Each combo will always have multiple ways to Finish it, therefore, I
    shall present Combo Sets; Where each Set is determined by the Combo
    Starter. Variations of the Combo will be determined according to the
    Continuation used, and a suitable name will be placed for each of these.
    Therefore, I shall have yet another reason to dip in to that creative
    side of my mind to come up with names that should be suitable enough for
    the appearance of the combo!
    
    These combos should be simple enough to memorize and execute, but some
    may prove to be a bit troublesome at first, but don't worry you'll get 
    it as long as you keep practicing!
    
    Remember that when you Stun your opponent, there is a chance that they
    might recover in time to block or even counter your next attack. So be
    swift and precise - like a Ninja!

    before, you would have noticed that I didn't list any combos using
    Mai-Ogi, this is because Kasumi's Mai-Ogi technique is pretty slow and
    it is very difficult to juggle your opponent since they tend to fall a
    much further distance away from you as opposed to any other of her 
    air-launching techniques. 
    
    Anyways, 17 combos are a lot of combos if you stop and think about it, 
    so good luck memorizing them if you wish to be a true Kasumi master, or 
    in other words - The most unpredictable player in the game of Dead or

    This section is like the Hallmark of this entire FAQ! It's a list of
    combos that I have formulated myself for advanced Kasumi players. 
    These combos shall be presented in the same format as the Basic Combos
    but they will also include Transition moves. It's just a fancy name
    I've placed for moves that will further stun and damage your opponent
    thus allowing you to connect even more hits than before! This section
    features the mighty "Kasumi Special" and "Sakura Blitz"; two combos
    that I'm very proud of! These combos will go for 10 Hits and deliver a
    staggering 120+ pts damage!

    A total of 10 hits can be achieved when using Renko-Kyoshu as the
    'Finisher'. However, there is only one way of getting all 10 hits
    to connect your opponent. It was founded that the opponent fell
    way too fast for the last hit in the combo to connect but by
    starting the combo while your opponent is near a wall will 
    guarantee 100% success! If you can somehow back your opponent
    towards (not against) a wall and start this combo, you will not
    slam your opponent against the wall but prevent them from falling
    a great distance away from you. The end result being, 10 sweet hits
    where the last hit is always critical because Kasumi will end up
    kicking the opponent against the wall just before they hit the 
    ground!
