"BMX XXX: Funny, challenging, and rewarding. But not with out flaws."

Introduction:
Well all know BMX XXX is a foul mouthed, tasteless, vulgar, bmx game with topless stripers. But there’s more to it then that. You either hate it or like it. When you look past the cursing and nudity, you have a challenging bmx game filled with R rated teen movie humor. Mix Conker’s Bad Fur Day with American Pie and throw in an improved Dave Mirra game engine and some detailed graphics and you’ve got a pretty good game. A lot of people are calling out saying how Acclaim is just looking for a ploy to gain some fats money off of some teenage boys. Well it may be true but at least they made the game pretty good. If you enjoyed Dave Mirra 2 you should not find anything wrong with BMX XXX.

Game Play:
First of many people are bashing this game‘s game play. They are calling it out and ripping it to shreds for reasons it should not be. When it comes down to just the game BMX XXX offers a great deal of variety and challenge. A great deal of tricks including, air tricks, flat land, grinds, wall tricks, and manuals. The controls are set up like most others action sports games so it’s easy to pick up and play. It may take some time to learn how to flat land or wall rides, but the instruction booklet does a good job teaching it to you. The goals in the level are either ones you can do at any point in time in the level or given to you by a NPC, like Tony Hawk 4 or Aggressive Inline. Also in each level there are 20 gaps that must be found and 45 items to collect in order to gain access to the striper videos. The only problems this game has is the crash animations are horrid, it looks like a rag doll is dropped. Some things like turning around, landing backwards or turning to sharp may cause a lot of aggravation. But over all it is a sold game none the less.

Graphics:
Very smooth. They are slick and well done. It’s a mix of THPS3’s and AI’s. The character models are decent and fit in well with the rest of the game. I was pleases with things like frame rate and draw distance. I have played this game four hours and not a single sign of slowdown or pop up. The shadows and lighting effects are really amazing. Overall I say it has graphics comparable to any other sports game of this genre out right now.

Sound:
I love this games soundtrack. It has the best mix of punk, old school rock, rap, and r&b. All the songs fit in very well. Not to mention there is no censoring so yes the F word is in the songs. The voice acting is another good point, very funny and top notch, it may get somewhat repetitive but still not a big deal. The sound effects are weak but they get the job done, the soundtrack makes up for it.

Extras:
I was very happy with the create a rider. There are many style to choose from and I was pleased to see a lot of clothes styles actual teenage kids wear, like ringer shirts and those plaid punk pants I see often. If your looking to make a hot chick with revealing clothes go for it, or if you want to make a bad ass rocker you can. Now the part your all waiting for, the striper videos. Unlocking them is a challenge. You must get all 45 items all 20 gaps and 1st in all competitions... or enter a cheat code either way. The videos are and are not what I expected. The girls are all hot, and there is topless videos. Unfortunately many of them are not topless and the work that goes into getting them should earn longer more naked girls. But it is still worth it if you catch my drift.

Overall: BMX XXX is a solid biking game filled with insanely funny objectives, cursing, good music, and hot topless women. It has its share of flaws but overall a decent game worth picking up. My overall score 8/10
