Glitches

  • Avoiding Traps

When running through a room with traps hold down the R button and press Y to bring up the quick equip screen. If done right you should be able to run by the traps not being harmed.

  • Easy name change and right section ID for new characters.

NOTE:You need to be able to log online for this trick to work.
To get the section ID you want and be able to change names without a problem, create a new character and set him the way you want. For his name if you insert a letter followed by the letters periods g.o.d (all lowercase) you will get a section ID. example:P g.o.d which will give you a yellowboze. If you sign into Xbox Live with that character it will immediately give you the error about changing your name always. By using this glitch you can make any ID and be able to use a name that normally wouldn't get that ID.
    A g.o.d - Bluefull, I g.o.d - Greenill, E g.o.d - Oran, M g.o.d - Pinkal... etc.

  • Easy rare enemy spawns

In order to easily spawn rare enemies (Hildeblues, Nar Lillies, etc.) first find a room that has at least one of the common variant of that enemy (the more enemies of that type in the room, the greater the chance of a rare monster spawn and the less time this glitch will take. Enter the room and spawn the enemies in question, then immediately use a telepipe or cast Ryuker. After returning to Pioneer 2, head back down to Ragol. Each time you do this, the monsters have a chance of spawning as their rare version. Note that this glitch only works offline; online games will only ever have the monsters you first saw in the room.

  • Walk through barriers

In some quests, passageways are walled off using barriers (debris, rocks, etc.) rather than locked doors. These barriers can be passed through with a little patience. Walk up to the barrier in question until you are as close as possible to it; to save time, try and find the spot where the barrier is closest to the wall. Face the barrier, centre the camera behind your character, then cast Ryuker or use a telepipe. Head back through the portal, then turn around and come back. As your game loads in, hold forward on the analogue stick.Your character will inch forward very slightly into the barrier, as the game allows you to move briefly before spawning your character and the barrier. Cast Ryuker/use a telepipe again and repeat the process. It will likely take several dozen telepipes/Ryukers before you make it all the way through the barrier, but eventually you will emerge on the other side. Using this method, you can reach areas players were never meant to access. Most of these are empty rooms with nothing in them, but some areas have enemy spawns. Easily the most lucrative area to access with this glitch comes in the Caves in the Letter from Lionel quest; using this glitch, you can access an area filled with Poifully Slimes, allowing easy farming of an enemy that typically does not spawn in high numbers.

  • Open the Dressing Room

All you have to do to get to the Dressing Room is make sure you have at least 10 000 Meseta ON a character (NOT in the bank) when starting. A new option will appear, labelled, ''Dressing Room''.

Once in the dressing room, you can change your characters costume and hair-style, for the low low price of 10 000 Meseta (hence why you need 10 000 Meseta to open the option)
