    2) WOLVERINE EXPLAINED

To most people, Wolverine is a very weak, defenseless mutant freak that
has no real skill, but to others, he's the best offensive character in
the whole game! Let's start with the pros and cons of playing Wolverine:

+ He's incredibly fast in terms of fighting, you can pull off up to 15
hit combos if given the opportunity.

+ His aggressive nature gives you a slight edge, psychologically.

+ He's very strong and can hurt you bad.

    - He's got horrible defense! He can be killed very easily if you don't
    take care of him.

    - His moves are sometimes laggy, especially Berserker Barrage X.

    - His launcher is a bit awkward to use.

Well, there you have it, some pros and cons you should think about
before choosing Wolverine, but keep in mind, YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN SELECT
HIM IF YOU AREN'T EXPERIENCED! You have been warned!

    3) MOVE LIST: THE MEAT

Ah, the heart of the FAQ, here you'll find Wolverine's special attacks,
    throws and Hyper combos.

    MOVE KEY:

    Launcher: HK
    S.: Standing
    J.: Jumping
    C.: Crouching
    D.: Dash in
    SJ: Superjump
    QCF: Down, Down-Forward, Forward
    QCB: Down, Down-Back, Back
    DP: Forward, Down, Down-Forward
    LP: Low Punch
    HP: High Punch
    LK: Low Kick
    HK: High Kick
    XX: Cancel
    P: Punch
    2P: 2 Punches
    K: Kick
    2K: 2 Kicks
    A1: Assist 1
    A2: Assist 2

    THROWS:

Neck Slash: Forward or Back + HP

With his claws, Wolverine jumps on the back of your opponent and begins
to slash the Bejesus out of their neck. This move can be performed in
    air and on the ground.

Knockdown Slash: Forward or Back + HK

This time, Wolverine kicks down the opponent and begins to slash their
face off. This move can be performed on the ground only.

    SPECIAL ATTACKS:

    Launcher: HK

This launches your enemy into the air for an aerial rave or air combo.

    Berserker Barrage: QCF + P

Wolverine charges towards the opponent and slashes wildly. This is a
great combo ender and is best utilized for the High punch version. This
move can be used on the ground only.

    Drill Claw: LK + HP

Wolverine basically drills towards the opponent with one claw out. This
isn't a great combo ender unlike Berserker Barrage because of its kinda
slow start up and lag if blocked. This move can be used in the air or on
    the ground.

    Tornado Claw: DP + P

In MvsC2, almost all the characters have 'Dragon Punch' type moves, and
Wolverine is one of the lucky people that get a multi-hit attack. But,
do be a little specific, Bone Claw Wolverine can hit this in the air AND
the ground, Metal Wolverine can't. If you use LP, Wolverine jumps up and
performs a small slash, while if you use the HP version, he'll jump up
higher and slash multiple times, an excellent reason to use this a lot,
it's a great combo ender. The move can be used on the ground only.

Dive Kick: Down + K In The Air

It's what it says, Wolverine dives down with his foot out, I like it,
    and good for stay putters.

    HYPER COMBOS:

    Berserker Barrage X: QCF + 2P

This is one of Wolverine best Hyper Combos, it's basically Berserker
Barrage hitting multiple times, but don't be reckless with this, it can
hurt you very bad because Wolverine ends it with a HP, which has a lot
of lag if you don't hit him. It's an excellent combo ender. This move
can be performed on the ground only.

    Weapon X: DP + 2P

Wolverine starts extracts his claws, even though they're already out and
says, "Let's go, bub!" and runs towards the opponent and, if he
connects, he'll start an auto-combo, similar to Captain America's Final
Justice, and after the end of the combo, he'll jump over the opponent,
leaving an 'X' shape with his claws, one of the most flashiest Hyper
Combos in the whole game. This game can be performed on the ground only.

    Fatal Claw: DP + 2K

A most unusual move, Wolverine crosses his claws and jumps forward,
leaving a giant 'X' shape and if your enemy happens to be in the
vicinity, they'll be struck multiple times, this is a move you HAVE to
combo in, it's too hard to use it as a regular move. This move can be
    performed on the ground only.

    Berserker Charge: QCF + 2K

This move is basically a speed up move. Wolverine just crouches and
says, "Berserker charge!" and he'll gain extra speed for about one and a
half minutes; this is great for squeezing in those extra combos. This
move can be performed on the ground only.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    4) ASSISTS

Assists are great, they can bail you out of combos, can aid in your own,
and just add some extra mayhem. Use 'em well, and you 'em often.

    ALPHA: Berserker Barrage/Berserker Barrage X

This assist performs the strong version of Berserker Barrage, no matter
what; he'll always end the move with his taunts.

    BETA: Tornado Claw/Fatal Claw

This assist performs the strong version of Tornado Claw

    GAMMA: Drill Claw/Fatal Claw

    This assist performs Drill Claw
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    5) STRATEGIES

First off, Wolverine is not for amateurs, he's only for experienced
combo players who DON'T cheese! As you notice when playing, Wolverine is
very, very fast walking, dashing, and even jumping! Take advantage of
his speeds, as you can pull off multiple hit combos before the CPU or
human can do anything. Second, remember, Wolverine is an ALL offense
person, he can't take damage too well, he'll die if you don't take care
of him. Also, using Wolverine's Hyper Combos in either Delayed, Double
or Triple Hyper Combos are very good. All in all, Wolverine is a great
offensive combo player, he can do giant, damaging combos in like 5
seconds, so take advantage of that particular feature.

    BOSS STRATEGIES:

For the First Form of Abyss:

Basically to simple combos and jump over him, repeat until dead.

For the Second Form of Abyss:

Dash in, and crouch immediately! Wolverine is already so low, just
crouch and hit him with simple blows. When the bubbles come out, just
    Superjump out and Jab. Repeat.

For the Third Form of Abyss:

Whenever Abyss jumps out, jump and air combo him. Repeat until dead.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
