"One word is enough: "Marvelous""

Championship Manager... A game developed by SI Games, that makes people lose their lifes, don't go to parties, break up their relationships and other things similar to these. Believe me, SI has done it once again.

Graphics 2/10

Probably the only problems this game has are graphics along with sound. I've heard many times the classic: ''What's the point staring at letters and numbers on the screen?'' Unfortunately that is true. This game, like any CM game, only has statistics, letters, numbers and no match engine of some sort. I'm not saying that they should build an entire match engine for CM, but at least that nifty ''Radar System'' CM 4 and 5 have, would be a good addition to the game. Graphics get 2/10 because of the background pictures (otherwise the score would have been 0/10)

Sound/Music 4/10

Sound gets 4/10 because just like graphics, there isn't any kind of music or sound in the game. The only sounds available, are the fans' chants, boos, jeers while in the match. Well I don't say that CM needs more sounds or music, but it would be good to hear a music track while browsing the transfer list. The final sound score is 4/10 because of the ability to play your own, saved in the Xbox, soundtracks in the game.

Gameplay 10/10

Simply the best. This game lets you pick a team and then you control its Players, Finances, Staff, Media, Board of Directors, Fixtures, Friendlies and many other things. You must organize the starting lineup, ''snap'' players from the transfer list, expand the stadium and other things. Just like any CM game, you won't get bored of this because it has a high replay value. It is great fun to pick a Serie C2 Italian Club and make it win the Champions League, or you can just take your favorite club and race it to the top of your league! There are many things to do in CM, so it never gets boring.

Controls 10/10

The first time you play this game, you'll notice that by pressing the White button, a ''Controls Help'' screen comes up with information on what each button does in different areas of the game. That way learning the controls is really easy and once you have them in your brain, you'll never forget them.

Lifespan 10/10

CM could easily be the game with the most lifespan ever. Whatever you do in CM, never happens again. For example a match result may come out 3-1 at first, but if you play the same match, with the same players and the same tactics again, the result may be 4-5. You just can't predict who will win the match. So this category gets a 10/10 because every time you start a new game, it won't be the same like your last one!

Rent or Buy?

DEFINITELY buy. You won't enjoy it if you rent it. Simple as that.

FINAL SCORES:
Graphics 2/10
Sound/Music 4/10
Gameplay 10/10
Controls 10/10
