1. INTRODUCTION
================================================================================

SNK vs CAPCOM is not only my first Fighting Game FAQ, but this is also my first
non-Resident Evil FAQ. While I haven't been a very big fan of fighting games, I
have been wanting to write one though, for some reason. I have decided to do one
this game, and I choosed Ken. Why Violent Ken? Because he is my favourite new
character for the game, and added to the fact that I have been a big fan of Ken
all the while b^_^b

As far as quality-wise, you can see that I am very brief about the data of Ken.
That's mainly because I tried not to use Kao Megura's excellent FAQ as a
reference. Speaking of Kao, thank you for the inspiration. This FAQ is dedicated
to you dearest. If someone out there is willing to help me with these FAQ bit,
I will be very very appreciated ^_^

Lastly, as this FAQ is based on the Japanese version of the game, I cannot put
in the detail which involves dialogues, like the ending. Its a shame, I know.

DESCRIPTION: Ken grab the opponent and throw him/her overhead forward.

DESCRIPTION: Ken grab the opponent, and rolled along the ground once, plant his
foot in the torso of the opponent and kick/push him/her upward back.

EXECUTION:  Press C+D when close to opponent in air
DESCRIPTION: Ken grab the opponent, pull him/her down to the ground, and rolled
along the ground once, plant his foot in the torso of the opponent and
kick/push him/her upward back.

DESCRIPTION: A standard purple fireball which inflict damage when comes into
contact with the opponent. When done with A button, is slower. When done with
C button, is slower.

MOVE NAME: Shoryu Ken 昇龍拳
EXECUTION: Front, Down, Front/Down + A/C
DESCRIPTION: Ken does a turning uppercut which hits whoever is just above him.
When done with C button, have purple flame effect, gets higher in the air and
have longer range. When done close range, inflict more damage and hit. Will move
Ken slightly forward when done.

MOVE NAME: Kuuchuu Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku 竜巻旋風脚 空中
EXECUTION: Down, Back/Down, Back + B/D in air
DESCRIPTION: Ken spin in the air and forward with one leg outstretch, which hits
multiple time when close. When done with D button, is faster and have longer
range. When done close range, inflict more damage and hit.

MOVE NAME: Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku 竜巻旋風脚
EXECUTION: Down, Back/Down, Back + B/D
DESCRIPTION: Ken spin slightly in the air and forward with one leg outstretch,
which hits multiple time when close. When done with D button, is faster and have
longer range. When done close range, inflict more damage and hit.

MOVE NAME: Kama Barai Geri 鉈落とし蹴り
EXECUTION: Back, Back/Down, Down, Front/Down, Front + B
DESCRIPTION: Ken swing his leg in front upward to the face of his opponent.

MOVE NAME: Nata Otoshi Geri 鎌払い蹴り
EXECUTION: Back, Back/Down, Down, Front/Down, Front + D
DESCRIPTION: Ken swing his leg in front upward to the face of his opponent.

MOVE NAME: Oosoto Mawashi Geri 大外回し蹴り
EXECUTION: Back, Back/Down, Down, Front/Down, Front + B+D
DESCRIPTION: Ken turn around in a very fast motion, and then swing his leg in
front upward to the face of his opponent.

MOVE NAME: Inazuma Kakato Wari 稲妻かかと割り(必殺技)
EXECUTION: Back, Back/Down, Down, Front/Down, Front + B/D/B+D (hold B/D/B+D)
DESCRIPTION: Ken lift his feet up and make a down axe kick to the skull of his/
her opponent.

MOVE NAME: Rasetsu Kyaku 羅刹脚
EXECUTION: Front, Down, Front/Down + B/D
DESCRIPTION: Ken make a teleport-like short dash in front. If the dashing range
is more than the distance between opponent, Ken will dash through the opponent
and land up behind the opponent. When done with D button, have longer range.

EXECUTION: Down, Front/Down, Front, Down, Front/Down, Front + B/D
DESCRIPTION: Ken crouch down, and do a rising turning uppercut with purple
flaming effect. This move will move Ken into the air very high, but doesn't move
slightly forward, so it is a very close range attack.

MOVE NAME: kuzuryuu Reppa 九頭龍連破
EXECUTION: Down, Back/Down, Back, Down, Back/Down, Back + B/D
DESCRIPTION: Ken does a kick fury, then double small Shoryuu Ken before ending
with a Shinryuu Ken without the purple flame effect.

5. TACTIC
================================================================================

Note that I am not that an expert, so I can't offer any good tips ^^;


Ken is a speedy offense character, a well-rounded fighter but slightly hard to
learn.

As Ken, your basic tactic is to throw a Hadoken occasionally. Mix in the fast
and slow version for a little confusion.

When you need to shift to the other side for some reason, use the air Tatsumaki
Senpuu Kyaku. Its faster and safer.

When close, do a fast attack. Quickly follow up with a Kuzuryuu Reppa to catch
the opponent off guard.

When the opponent is in close/mid range, use the fast Hadou Ken instead.

If the opponent jumps over the Hadou Ken, do a Kurubushi Kick.
