    Thanks for clicking on the FAQ. This FAQ will showcase how to achieve 
    100% for the XBOX Demo of SC:CT for both STEALTH and ASSAULT 
    configurations.
    
    The XBOX Demo can be found in the March 2005 issue of Official Xbox 
    Magazine. I have not played the PC, PS2, or GameCube versions (if there 
    are any) so this walkthrough will or may not apply to those demos - if 
    they do then you're in luck! 
    
    The FAQ will be categorized as follows:
    
    --ASSAULT WALKTHROUGH
    For the person that wants to eliminate their opposition.
    
    
    --STEALTH WALKTHROUGH
    For the person that wants to complete their objective unseen.
    
    
    --HIDDEN ITEMS AND UNLOCKABLES
    
    
    
    ++Before you proceed, I strongly suggest that you play the Demo first 
    before reading this FAQ. For all descriptions I mention here, I will 
    assume that you know what I'm talking about.

    The configuration is as follows:

    X BUTTON:  EQUIP WEAPON

    WHITE BUTTON:  REAL-TIME INVENTORY SWITCH (HOLD TO ACCESS MENU)

    L-TRIGGER: KNOCKOUT BLOW
    R-TRIGGER: LETHAL BLOW
    
    LEFT ANALOG STICK:  MOVE SAM
    RIGHT ANALOG STICK: ROTATE CAMERA

    STEALTH OR ASSAULT?
    
    
    ************************
    
    
    So which one are you? I will detail how to pass through the Demo with 
    100% for both modes. Sound hard? Not at all! 
    
    All descriptions mentioned here are direct and brief only! 
    (I'm only here to help, not hand carry you!)
    
    To achieve 100%, Sam must complete all his Primary Objectives and SCAN 
    all five of the crates in the area. He must also NOT be detected and 
    NOT kill anyone. 
    And YES, you can knock out every enemy and STILL get 100%.
    
    
    ++REMEMBER! If you are aiming for 100%, DO NOT use Lethal Force! Lethal 
    Force is only for emergency situations.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    == ASSAULT WALKTHROUGH ==
    
    
    All methods here apply for all difficulties.
    
    
    -- ASSAULT WEAPON INVENTORY --
    
    SC-20K 
    SC PISTOL W/ OCP
    STICKY SHOCKERS
    AIRFOIL ROUNDS
    STICKY CAMERA
    FLASH GRENADE
    
    **Follow this walkthrough and you won't have to use ANY of these 
    (except the OCP).
    
    ++REMEMBER TO HIDE THE BODIES!!!!
    
    
    -----------------------
    
    
    Choose ASSAULT mode and start the game.
    
    
    --AREA: THE BEACH 
    Make your way up the hill and head up to the CRAWLSPACE. Exit the 
    CRAWLSPACE and jump up to the top ledge.
    
    
    --AREA: WOODEN BRIDGE (3 ENEMIES)
    In this area are two alternate paths and 3 enemy sentries. Take the 
    left path to a hidden area with a spotlight and a ladder. Climb the 
    ladder slowly and emerge up. Whistle ENEMY #1 and knock him out. Access 
    the Crate #1 and scan it.
    
    For the second crate, emerge through the open doorway and shoot the 
    light. Use the PICKUP OBJECT option and toss a bottle to get ENEMY #2's 
    attention. When he checks on the noise, conk him from behind. Now go 
    scan Crate #2
    
    
    
    
    --AREA: TORTURE ROOM (2 ENEMIES).
    Work your way up the stairs and open the door to the TORTURE ROOM. Hide 
    in the shadows at the bottom area and wait for ENEMY #1 to pass by. 
    Smack him from behind.
    
    Sneak towards the TORTURE ROOM and sneak up behind ENEMY #2 and knock 
    him out. Use the FREE MORGENHOLT option for an extra Lambert and Fisher 
    argument. Exit the room to the LOCK-PICK DOOR. Pick the lock and exit.
    
    
    
    --AREA: OUTSIDE THE FORTRESS (6 ENEMIES) 
    See that first tent? Turn on THERMAL VISION to see ENEMY #1. Cut 
    through the tent and head inside. Grab him from behind and drag him 
    outside. Knock him out and continue to ENEMY #2.
    
    For ENEMY #2, creep to the back of the second tent (it's dark enough to 
    walk by ENEMY #2). When he stands next to the spotlight, creep up 
    behind him and conk him in the head. 
    
    Now head inside the second tent to access Crate #3 and scan it. Ignore 
    going up the higher ledge (with ENEMY #3 & 4) and head to the well-lit 
    doorway on the other end. Emerge to the other side with Crate #4 under 
    a tin roof.
    
    Walk out to Crate #4 SLOWLY! Scan it and turn around. Jump up on top of 
    the tin roof and use the OCP on the light on the upper well-lit 
    doorway. Jump to the ledge and continue through.
    
    ++If you want to neutralize ENEMY #5 & 6, wait near the cracked wall 
    and listen to the conversation. ENEMY #5 will stand close to the wall. 
    Silently jump over the crack and grab him from behind and knock him 
    out. For ENEMY #6, run up to him and knock him out. 
    
    
    
    --OUTER LIGHTHOUSE AREA (7 ENEMIES):
    Enter through and knock out ENEMY #1. His back is towards you so creep 
    up to him. Access the computer here to complete the Primary Objective.
    
    Head outside and wait for ENEMY #2 & 3 to finish their conversation. As 
    they head downstairs, slowly exit towards the ledge (don't go 
    downstairs!). 
    
    Don't worry about the lightning flashes; it won't give away Sam's 
    position. Wait for ENEMY #2 to finish looking at the ocean and he'll 
    head downstairs. ENEMY #3 is directly underneath you. Jump down 
    silently next him and then knock him out. Here you'll find Crate #5. 
    Scan it and continue on.
    
    Head down the stairs to ENEMY #3 (the moody welder). Knock him out but 
    DO NOT shoot the kerosene lamp! Instead, head back to the stairs to see 
    ENEMY #4 slowly ascending the stairs. Run up to him and knock him out. 
    Now hide ENEMY #3 at the bottom of the stairs with ENEMY #4.
    
    Make your way through the twisty path to the bridge before the 
    Lighthouse. ENEMY #5 is patrolling around the Lighthouse. When he 
    stands in the middle of the bridge, head over and knock him out or toss 
    him over the water.
    
    Head to the back door of the Lighthouse and use the OPEN DOOR STEALTH 
    option. Open the door and slowly creep up to the radio operator (ENEMY 
    #6) and knock him out.
    
    Creep to the top of the Lighthouse when Lambert says its extraction 
    time. Climb the ladder at the top. You have two options here for ENEMY 
    #7:
    
    OPTION #1: You can turn off the spotlight and then knock out ENEMY #7 
    when he approaches to turn it back on.
    
    OPTION #2: Creep out and hang on the outer ledge. When he gets close, 
    use the GRAB CHARACTER option to toss him over the ledge (if you use 
    this option, you will ruin your 100% run).
    
    Either way, you CANNOT pass the mission until you neutralize ENEMY #7. 
    Turn off the spotlight and use the CALL EXTRACTION option.
    
    
    MISSION COMPLETED!
    
    Cool! You passed the mission with 100%!
    
    
    
    
    
    
    == STEALTH WALKTHROUGH ==
    
    
    For this walkthrough, I will explain how to pass Stealth Mode with 100% 
    without firing a single bullet and only eliminating ONE enemy! Ready?
    
    
    
    AREA: THE BEACH (3 ENEMIES)
    Make your way up the hill and enter through the CRAWLSPACE. Exit the 
    CRAWLSPACE and jump up to the top ledge.
    
    Take the left path to a hidden area with a spotlight and a ladder. KEEP 
    QUIET! Climb the ladder and emerge to the top. Observe ENEMY #1 and 
    wait until he walks to re-align his shooting targets. Bust out the OCP 
    and use it on the light near Crate #1. When the light is out, scan it 
    and slowly head for the doorway.
    
    For Crate #2, use the OCP on the swinging light and then quickly head 
    up the stairs and use the OCP on the light in the middle of the upper 
    room. When the light is out, quickly head for Crate #2 and scan it. 
    Watch out for ENEMY #2 and quickly but quietly head up the stairs.
    
    (This first section will take lots of patience to accomplish because of 
    first crate but its well worth it.)
    
    
    AREA: TORTURE ROOM (2 ENEMIES)
    Hide by the crate at the bottom area and wait. Wait for ENEMY #1 to 
    take a walk and let him pass by Sam. Creep past ENEMY #2 in the TORTURE 
    ROOM by creeping around the room and exiting to the LOCK-PICK DOOR.
    
    Pick the lock and exit the room.
    
    
    AREA: OUTSIDE FORTRESS (6 ENEMIES)
    Make your way past the first tent by heading to the left. Wait for 
    ENEMY #1 & 2 to have a conversation and then sneak past them to the 
    second tent. Use the CUT MATERIAL option for the second tent and then 
    slowly approach Crate #3 and scan it.
    
    Now exit and head for the well-lit doorway on the other end. Emerge 
    through the other side to find Crate #4 under a tin roof. SLOWLY 
    approach Crate #4 and scan it while the two ENEMIES converse with each 
    other. 
    
    Now have Sam climb on top of the tin roof and use the OCP on the well-
    lit doorway on the upper ledge. When the light is out, jump to the 
    upper ledge and continue to the computer server.
    
    
    AREA: OUTER LIGHTHOUSE AREA (7 ENEMIES)
    Quietly make your way to the darkened entrance and access the computer 
    to complete the Primary Objective. Ignore ENEMY #1 and quietly continue 
    on outside.
    
    When ENEMY #2 & 3 are conversing, QUIETLY head down the stairs (don't 
    shoot the light, just head down). Creep towards Crate #5 near the 
    stairs and scan it. Continue creeping past the moody welder (ENEMY #4) 
    and make your to the Lighthouse.
    
    When you reach the Bridge to the Lighthouse, patiently wait for ENEMY 
    #5 to continue his patrol. Go in the opposite direction he went and 
    head to the back of the Lighthouse. When the coast is clear, open the 
    back door using the OPEN DOOR STEALTH option and head inside.
    
    Ignore ENEMY #6 (the radio operator) and make your way upstairs to the 
    roof. From here you have two options for ENEMY #7:
    
    OPTION #1: Turn off the spotlight and knock him out
    
    OPTION #2: Hang on the ledge outside and use the GRAB CHARACTER option 
    when he gets close (this counts as a KILL if you use this option and 
    will ruin your 100% run).
    
    Turn off the spotlight and use the CALL EXTRACTION option.
    
    
    MISSION COMPLETED!
    
    See? Only one enemy neutralized AND you didn't have to fire a SINGLE 
    bullet! Congrats, you super spy!
    
    
    
    
    ************************
    
    
    UNLOCKABLES
    
    
    ************************
    
    
    There aren't many secrets for this Demo but there are two things to 
    discover if you feel the need.
    
    #1: In the room with the fireplace is extra SC Pistol ammo and a Frag 
    Grenade.
    
    #2: After beating the Demo, view your stats and then press the Y Button 
    to restart the mission. After the game loads, you will be treated to a 
    special opening cutscene before the Lighthouse mission.

    So how did you do? If you can't get 100% then you're not being stealthy 
    enough or you're being too Lethal!
    
    Anyway, enjoy the Demo for now and then make sure you purchase the 
    Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Special Collector's Edition for XBOX when 
    it gets released at the end of March.
