1. WALKTHROUGH
###############################################################################

This walkthrough was written under and for the Hard difficulty, but still 
works for all three. The whole thing is objective-based so that it's easy to 
find your spot when reading. Objectives are listed in the order that they can 
be completed. For instance, you may get two objectives at once but one won't 
be listed until later in the walkthrough, when it is to be completed.

Iron Harpoon
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Gain access to the crew quarters

Climb the ladder and on the deck, across to the right, you should see a rebel. 
Run to the right and hide behind the gas tanker next to the building. Get the 
attention of the rebels and use this as point to shoot them from (you will 
have to draw their attention). Search their bodies just before going through 
the double doors that lead inside the tanker. (This will be the first and only 
time I tell you to search the bodies since it's expected of you.) Move slowly 
down the steps at the end of the hall and quickly shoot the rebel underneath 
them. Follow this hall down and take a second flight of stairs down. There 
will be two doors on the same wall to your right and in the back one is an 
office. Look down at the open drawer and pick up the paper with the safe 
combination on it. Turn around and go back up the stairs and to the wing on 
this level. To the right of the fuse boxes is a room with a safe in the 
corner. With the combination now in hand, you can unlock the safe to retrieve 
a security. Exit and make a left, going down to the next lowest level again. 
This time you will take the double doors to the left to get to the lower part 
of the tanker's deck. Unlock the door around the corner by looking at the 
keypad and using your security card now that you have one. Proceed in then 
head down the steps. Move along the balconies and kill the lone rebel walking 
away. Go through the door over here to gain access to the crew quarters.

o Make your way to engineering

Turn and kill the two rebels inside the lounge area. Pass through here, taking 
the door to the next area. Pass through the halls until you see an open 
doorway. Look inside this bathroom and cap the one guy and his buddy that 
rushes in afterwards. Go inside and, before leaving, grab the keys off of the 
towel rack in the locker room. After exiting the locker room, the door down to 
the right is where you want to go. Make a left, shoot the guy that's out on 
the balconies, and use the keys to open the door around the corner. Inside is 
a boiler room and on the other side is a rebel. Shoot him and go through the 
door below.

o Climb through the air ducts

Follow through until you see a fenced in area. Look down and shoot the rebel 
standing on the stairwell. The gate is locked so you'll have to find an 
alternate route. Use the duct around the corner. Simply crouch down and walk 
inside.

o Rescue the hostages

As you come out of the vent, you'll see some crates, steps, and a door in the 
corner. Before going through the door, head up the steps and grab a security 
card off of the hat rack. Now go through the door below. Unlock the gate 
outside and then turn around to shoot the rebel (or two) that will emerge from 
behind. Go through the gate and round the corners, making sure both rebels are 
killed. Now go through the unlocked door then walk inside to meet with the 
hostages to complete the level.

Burning Justice
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Disarm the explosive (4x)

Climb the ladder to the duct and open the vent to exit to the gated area that 
you were previously. Up ahead you should see a guy run along. Move this way 
and an explosion will occur ahead of you. Make a left down the steps then head 
through the door around the corner. To extinguish the flames that burst out of 
the pipe, you'll need to turn the right valve below. Climb up into the duct 
and open the vent to the boiler room. Turn the two valves with "Caution" above 
them on the right side in order to put out the fire. Now walk up to the blue 
barrel and hold down the X-button to disarm the first explosive (1). Walk up 
the steps to the right and shoot the guy that pops through the doorway. Turn 
inside and climb the ladder. Kill the guy when you get to the top of the 
ladder. Now look down and disarm a second explosive beneath the floor (2). 
When you get outside open the door to the inside. Kill the guys up ahead (one 
in the bathroom). Round the corner to the right and kill the next few. Follow 
through to the outside area where the path behind you will be blocked off. 
Find the doorway to the right, climb the ladder, and use the crates to get up 
to the third explosive. Disarm the blue barrel that has the bomb strapped to 
it (3). Climb the ladder that leads to the deck and crouch behind the white 
box for cover. Look across and fire at all enemies you see. Advance to the 
fence, head through the door, and climb the ladder up to the final bomb. 
Disarm this explosive to complete the level (4).

o Escape the burning rig

When all explosives are disarmed, the level is over.

Red Centaur
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Infiltrate facility

Come up and out of the ditch and hide behind the white box truck nearby. Use 
it as cover while you take down the two guards in the parking lot. Enter the 
refinery where you see the big sign near the car. Pop the guy that's usually 
standing near the desk move into the next office area where two guards await 
(one has a shotgun, so be careful). With the three stooges finished, grab the 
yellow SECURITY CARD off the desk where the surveillance monitors are. Now 
head up the steps and cross the catwalk to use the security card on the door.

o Access the loading area

When you see the grated walkways you can either go down the ramp to the right 
and work your way to the lot area, or you could use the path to the left to 
come to a ledge that overlooks the lot. If you do the latter you can use this 
as a vantage point and even use the red pipes to jump from to the walkway 
that's over the lot. Either way  you take, you must come to the other side 
where you'll see a brown door inside an enclosed hallway. Head in and shoot 
the guy on the other side of the shelves, completing this objective.

o Sneak into the control center

Kill the guy next to the truck in the next room of barrels. Move through and 
out to the other end of the loading area, where another guard awaits. Climb 
the ladder after kill him and use this ledge to snipe any patrolling guards 
that you see below. If you want to, drop to the pipes below and move to the 
next area. Alternatively, you could climb back down the ladder and move out to 
the lot so that you can collect the ammo. Either way, you need to go through 
the door below the orange SPX sign. Past the desk and broken steps are a few 
guys in the lounge area. If you want to flank them, open the vent just before 
the steps and crawl through the duct to come to the bathroom behind them. With 
them dead, proceed onward and cap the lone guard in the locker room. When you 
get to the loading bay, climb the ladder. Move along the path and crouch into 
the vent with the "Danger" sign above it. Quickly climb out of the duct and 
wait for a first guard to enter the room. After killing him, wait for the 
second guard to enter and do the same.

o Secure the main server

Look over the banister and shoot the guards down in the server area. Walk down 
here and access the computer in the center of this room to complete the 
objective.

o Secure the refinery

The level will be over once the previous objective is met.

Crazed Liberty
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Locate maintenance trench

In the building ahead is a guard in the front office. You can either open the 
door and blast him or you can climb through the vent on the right and come 
from behind. After killing him, grab the yellow security card off of the desk 
and then open the doors to the elevator next to the vending machine by using 
the security card. When the doors close activate the panel to take it to level 
B. Round the corners after getting off the lift.

o Put out fires

Up ahead are two guards blocking a door. Kill them while using the beams in 
the center as cover. Instead of going through the door, it's best to use the 
vent on the left wall to come to the side of the security booth where the 
guard can't spot you. Shoot the guard standing in front of the computers, then 
turn to the wall and look to the four (4) fuse boxes. Pull the lever on each 
one to put out the fires in another part of the level. (You cannot progress if 
you don't.)

o [Find the] propane storage fields

Turn around after pulling all levers and head through halls and through the 
door outside to the pipe area (if you didn't pull the levers, the pipes will 
be on fire). Round the corner after walking over the pipes and go through the 
door. When you get to
the bottom you'll come to an area laid out like the diagram to     x------
your right. You want to start off (S) by killing any guys you        |  |
see up ahead. There's three guards total (one straight ahead,       -'--+-
one patrolling horizontally, and one to the left). After                |
killing them, you need to find the vent to the left of the door         S
in the upper left corner (x). All other vents lead to nowhere. Once in the 
ductwork, find  your way to the janitorial storage room.  Once there, open the 
door and wait for the guard to pass by on your right (do not go out there 
yet!). Quickly shoot him so that you don't get caught by his overwhelming 
return fire. Enter the nearest door and head up to the steps out to the 
propane storage fields.

o Find the drain tunnels

The first order of business is to kill the guards in the area. Without moving 
beyond the first set of tankers, shoot the guard that's patrolling the catwalk 
above. Now finish off the rest of them around the tankers on the ground. The 
lean function works will hear since the tanks are rounded off, allowing you to 
lean and shoot their head, occasionally. Next, turn the valve on the right 
wall to put out the fire up ahead. Drop down in the opened vent now and follow 
through until you drop out to the drain tunnels.

o Find access elevator

Look down the way and you should see a guard on the left. Shoot him and his 
buddy that usually appears from a distance. Pay attention, now, and look at 
the support beams in this tunnel (count them). After the second beam, if you 
look up, you should be able to see a guard up on the catwalk if you're 
crouching. Make damn sure that you shoot him or you'll be sorry. Up ahead is a 
door, when you go through you'll be rushed by a guard or two. You definitely 
don't want to face them head on. Instead, open the door and quickly throw a C4 
charge inside. Run back behind a beam and wait. When the blast takes place, 
look toward the door and wait for a second guard. Kill him and move inside. 
Through the next door is a guy hiding behind something. Shoot him, look up, 
and shoot a second guard on the balcony. The elevator is in the center of this 
room.

o Shutoff control pipeline

Step onto the lift and hit the switch to take it up. As you arrive at the top, 
hide on the left side of the doorway inside the lift. Peak out and shoot all 
of the guards in this room (there's one hiding up above and to the left). Now 
all you have to do is turn the valve to complete the level.

o Secure pipeline control

Once the previous objective is done (along with the rest) so is this. The 
level is complete.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jungle Tiger
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Locate the shanty village

Walk to the open path to retrieve your first objective. Up ahead you want to 
snipe the lone guard on the bridge. Past the bridge is a guard patrolling on 
the left, up where the houses are at. You can leave him alone since he won't 
always see you and can't get his ammo. Around the bend, to the right, is a 
guard patrolling in the bushes. After you kill him you can get some extra ammo 
in the house up to the right simply by passing it up and turning up the hill 
by the big tree. Pass the downed tree and up ahead you will see a light and a 
fence. There's a improvised explosive rigged up to the fence. When tripped it 
will explode and kill you. The ideal thing to do is crouch down and disarm it 
but be careful to let it fully disarm or it will blow up in your face. You 
could just jump over it -- or better yet avoid going through the this fence 
completely. That's right -- if you jump past the tree on the right side, you 
will not only avoid the trip line but you will also not trigger the guards up 
ahead (this is highly recommended since it will save you ammo and maybe even 
health). Assuming you did pass through the fence, though, you'll need to take 
out the guards up ahead. In the center of this village is where you complete 
this objective. 

o Gather intelligence of the bridge

There's another trip line on the other side of the village. After that is some 
more ammo in the back house. Come out to the rocks that overlook a bridge in 
the distance. When the guards rush the bridge you'll want to snipe them. Shoot 
the barrels when they're nearby and in pairs to save ammo.

o Find the path under the bridge

Turn around and head back to the shanty village. On the left is an entrance to 
a mine that was locked. Kill the gunman that rushes out, then head inside to 
take the lift down. Pop another guy after getting to the bottom and then walk 
out to the path that leads under the bridge.

o Disarm the explosives

Follow the path that leads to the right side support beam. Crouch under and 
disarm the TNT on each barrel. Releasing the action button while disarming 
will result in mission failure.

o Meet team at next village

The lone guard up ahead can be spotted just past the big rock and in some 
bushes. Approach will caution (I like to use a grenade or sniper rifle). Up 
ahead is yet another clone guard waiting for death. As he jumps out of the 
house, hide behind the rock on the left but be careful to not fall off. With 
him dead, get on the downed tree and use it to cross the chasm. The tree falls 
(normally!) and two guys will appear in the hut up on the left wall. Your best 
bet is to snipe the guy that walks out with one or two quick shots, then turn 
to the guy that appears outside and to the left with some more rounds. The 
best place to hide is probably in the left corner, next to where the tree 
would be. There's a third guard up the path where you need to go. Snipe him 
from behind the tree and move up to encounter another guard along the way. 
From here on out it's smooth sailing. Work your way to the village to meet up 
with your team by the camp fire.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arched Eye
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Locate the villager for intel.

Move along the path ahead until you see houses on  your left just off the 
path. Walk down and kill the bad guy standing by (but not on) the dock. If the 
guy further up the path is alarmed he will come down here. Walk up to the go 
standing on the dock to gather the intel.

o Open the vehicle gate

Turn around on the dock and head past the house and continue up the path. Wait 
for the patrolling gaurd to walk around the front of the truck ahead. Once he 
passes, shoot the explosive barrel near the front to kill him. Disarm the trip 
line at the wooden fence and step down into the water. As you move right, a 
guard will walk out of the back of the truck. The moment hit lands on ground, 
shoot the barrels behind the truck to effectively kill him. Continue on and 
there'll be two guards standing near the green truck. Your best bet, to keep 
distance, is to jump on the rock to your left and shoot over the truck. With 
them dead, approach the gate to see two men on the bridge. You will want to 
shoot them dead but be careful to not shoot the trucks on the bridge. Blowing 
this up will result in mission failure. Open the door to the tollbooth on the 
right, and pull the lever to open the first vehicle gate to the bridge.

o Open second vehicle gate

You can now cross the bridge and it's the first thing you'll want to do after 
raising the first gate. The part up ahead gets tough but all one must do is be 
patient and precise. As you cross it there'll be two more guards that appear 
behind the second truck. Again, be careful to not blow up the truck. With them 
dead, head towards the building in the back where another guard will walk out. 
Kill him and grab the keys off the locker doors in this garage. Come out and 
there will be more guards outside behind the barriers. Use the stack outside 
the garage as cover while reloading. Unlock the gate next to the garage. 
Immediately after opening the gate, a guard will rush out. The best way to 
deal with him is to open the gate, toss a grenade near the door, then hide 
behind the tree. Go inside and pull the switch to open the second gate. (Note: 
There's a glitch in the game where if you reload to the garage checkpoint, 
more enemies will appear than normally. Be especially cautious of the one that 
appears in the garage.) The last thing you have to do is walk through the gate 
across from exiting the garage, and kill the guy patrolling the truck. Walk 
along the path to complete the level.

o Defend the bridge from attack

This objective pertains to beating the level. Once all other objectives are 
done so is this.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outraged Tension
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Find the hostages

This whole level is very straight-forward even though it seems like a 
labyrinth of shacks. Look for the door near the floodlight that's shining 
down. From here on out there's one basic path that you can follow which winds 
you through the houses, err... Shacks. When you get to the part where you must 
drop down and kill the guards, look for house across from the shining light. 
Inside is a set of keys. Go up the ramp near the light and follow through. 
Shoot the guy on the ground and the two on the rooftops. On the other side is 
a gate to the hostages. Use the key that you picked up previously then walk 
inside.

o Secure the hostages

Simply walk to the next door in this room.

Follow though. When you get to the barbed wire fence you'll need to cut it. 
After cutting the first set and killing the guard, look for more in the 
corner. Cut it and search the box for extra ammo. Open the door that's by the 
flaming barrel ahead. Eventually you will get to the U.N. food truck area.

o Eliminate enemy resistance
o Secure the U.N. food truck

After walking up the ramped ladder and into the building, hide in the corner 
to the left and stay out of the doorway to avoid enemy fire. There are three 
guards outside. If you're looking out of the doorway, there's one to  your 
right, left, and one up ahead. The one on the right is hard to spot sometimes, 
so it's best to quickly toss a grenade on the other side of the truck and 
boxes to get him. The one up ahead should be shot, but wary of his return 
fire. The one on the left is easy enough. After they're all dead these two 
objectives are done and the level will be over.

Sweeping Saber
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Find the secret documents

Like the last level, you must make your way through the ran-down shacks 
killing the bad guys as you go. When you spot the barbed wire, check the pots 
behind it for some ammo. Eventually you will see a car and the music will kick 
in. Kill the two guards -- one left, one right -- and snatch the briefcase out 
of the trunk of the car.

o Find access card for the lab

After grabbing the briefcase with the docs in it, another baddy will rush from 
the building behind the car. Kill him and head through this door. There's a 
few more guards around the corner. After killing them, disarm the trip line as 
you move up. To the right and in the building is where you need to go. For 
extra measure, there's some stuff over to the left worth looking into (two bad 
guys and a pot with ammo inside). Take the yellow access card and shoot the 
guy that comes through the door.

o Find and destroy the chemical lab

Kill the guys as you move along through this next path. Eventually you'll get 
to the fenced area where the chemical lab is. Shoot the two guards in the 
parking lot then unlock the gate. Head inside the building and make fast work 
of the two guards around the corner. Head through the tan door. On the other 
end of the hall are the labs. Kill the two guys inside. To destroy the lab you 
need to destroy most of the containers. To save on ammo, equip your knife and 
start stabbing the containers. After destroying enough the mission will be 
over.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silver Strike
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Secure Sector A

While advancing throw the narrow pathways in the level, use your handgun while 
leaning around corners and the shotgun for rushing enemies. It seems like 
common sense but if you're not following this routine then you could end up 
getting hard more than you have to. In the first building is a set of keys. 
These unlock a door down a flight of steps that lead to a box of grenades. 
You'll know that you're on the necessary path when you're in a building that 
has a hole in the floor. Drop through the hole and cap the guy at the bottom 
with the shotgun. Follow the basement outside, and when you get past the guy 
by the flaming barrel this objective will be complete.

o Secure Sector B

There's two guys beyond the brick wall and a third that will appear in the 
window. The closest one should be dealt with first. Do it fast so that he 
doesn't charge with his shotgun. Kill the guy at the bottom and then the one 
in the window. After killing a few more baddies and rounding the second corner 
up ahead, two men will rush out. The nearest guy can be killed with a shotgun 
blast or grenade. Be sure to find the fire escape nearby and get the keys 
inside. When you see the gate you'll have to make a left and use the building 
to get on the other side. If you go upstairs and kill the guy on the steps 
you'll need to deal with a guy that rushes up as you come down. The door 
behind the steps leads outside. Kill the bad guys on this side of the gate.

o Gain access to downtown

Go through the door by the light to complete the level.

Flaming Hammer
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Gain access to the building

Walk straight and the shutter door to the parking garage will open. Simply 
cruise through the two areas, popping the baddies as you go. When you get the 
door, open it, then kill the guy in the stairwell. Take the steps to the top, 
coming out for your new objective.

o Go up elevator

This level is straight-forward. Kill the two bad guys at other end. Turn on 
the generator and get on the lift on the other side of the wall.

o Get to the roof

After stepping off of the lift, you'll go through three levels of nothing but 
killing bad guys. At the third floor there are some beams scattered by an open 
ledge. Walk out onto the scaffolding and use it to get to the other side of 
this floor. Climb the beam ramp up against the wall. You'll now have to climb 
the ladder to get to the next floor. To descend a ladder at any time, press 
and hold the jump button. After climbing a second ladder you will have to deal 
with two more bad guys. Now you will take the staircases up and around the 
outside construction area. Don't face your enemies head on. Instead, find 
different angles to shoot them from (e.g. the lower levels). At the top is a 
door that leads to ladder that takes you to the roof area.

o Plant explosives on the antenna

Once on the roof, pop the three guys that will take cover behind the beams. On 
the other side of the roof is gate that leads to the antenna. Walk up to it 
and plant the bomb where the TNT stick appears.

o Destroy broadcast antenna

Come back to the roof and look for the beam that ramps up. Climb it and once 
on top, the explosive will blow the antenna. Now all you have to do is get the 
hell out of here.

o Exit level

While on top the beam, jump to the beam that's hanging from the crane. Stay 
still and wait for it to swing close to the building across the way. Once it 
slows down and is really close, jump to the building to complete the 
objective, level, and even the game. Congratulations.

This section is a quick rundown of the Xbox controls.

         Left Analog - Move/lean while weapon is centered

                   Y - Jump
               D-pad - Change weapon
        Left Trigger - Center weapon (left thumbstick to lean)
       Right Trigger - Shoot/stab/throw grenade

3. WEAPONS
###############################################################################

USP Pistol:
The pistol is great for mid-range shots; particularly those while leaning 
around corners. Do not use in close situations where the enemy is expected to 
rush. When you have strict amount of primary ammo, use the pistol instead.

M4 Assault Rifle:
The M4 has great accuracy for a machine gun. The rate of fire is steady but 
not ultra-fast. Up close the M4 isn't bad either.

M203 Grenade Launcher:
This weapon is sort of the secondary function of the M4. Equip it and it 
becomes exactly what one would expect. Aim high and let your grenades rip. 
They explode on impact so make sure you're at a lengthy distance.

MP5 SD:
This silenced MP5 is great for stealth situations, especially in multiplayer. 
It has decent accuracy at long range but it can be hard to tell if the bullets 
are hitting their target.

Mk43 7.2mm Machinegun:
This gun has a high-capacity clip which makes it great numerous foes. The 
downside is that it's very weak so you will be spending a lot of time 
shooting. If you want this in multiplayer, I suggest you try the shotgun since 
it is a better alternative.

M1 Combat Shotgun:
An awesome weapon at close range; the shotgun is no joke. Always aim high when 
shooting and reloading when not in battle. A trained player can take down any 
enemy with a shot or two.

.50 Cal Tactical Sniper Rifle:
Surprisingly, the 50-cal isn't as strong as it should be. If you don't get a 
headshot then you probably won't take down your enemy. Always go for their 
head and take advantage of its two scope zooms to ensure a direct hit.

C4 Charge:
Throw down a C4 and let the fun begin. It works like a proximity mine so one 
must walk close by to trigger it, so be careful where you lay them so that you 
don't become victim to your own mine. After a short length of time the mine 
will automatically explode. When on the defensive, listen for a high-pitched 
noise that lets you know there's one close by. You can shoot a C4 charge to 
blow it up.

Grenade:
When in the proper hands, grenades are an effective killing tool. Bounce them 
off walls and always throw them in front of an enemy instead of behind. Many 
times your foe will run directly to the one you throw.

Combat Knife:
The knife is very ineffective in the singleplayer mode, however. In 
multiplayer it's great for instances when you're following an enemy who 
doesn't know you're there. Sneak behind an unsuspecting enemy and stab them 
anywhere you wish since a stab is always instant death.

###############################################################################

Access Off-Limits Area in "Jungle Tiger" Level:
Snipe the guard on the bridge at the beginning of the level. Below the bridge 
and on the right are some rocks. If you run towards the lowest rock and keep 
tapping jump, you can effectively get on top of it. It may take practice but 
it's surely possible. Once on the rock, you can get to the bridge that leads 
to the ledge on the left. If you go to the right where it's blank, you will 
eventually be on the other side of the level and out on a large bridge.

Get Out of "Arched Eye" Level:
At the beginning there is a fence behind some house. Find the part where the 
fence meets the mountain and try jumping it. Once you're on the other side you 
can only drop off into the abyss of the level.

Get on the Rooftops of "Sweeping Saber" Level:
After killing the first guard that you see in the level, there is a garbage 
can next to a short fence. Look for small mound of dirt to the right of the 
garbage can. Now try jumping onto it. If done correctly, you will be able to 
jump to the small fence and then up to the building. From here you can explore 
the rooftops. I was able to get as far back as the chemical lab but it took 
quite of bit of tricky jumping.
