    I made some changes, mostly aesthetic, but I still have tons of work to do.  I
    thought I was done working on this, but I guess I still have tons of work to 
    do.  I plan on writing a section on space battles, as well as going into much
    more detail in the Galactic Conquest section.  I am going to make codes to make
    it easier to get to each section.  I also plan on going into much more detail
    in the strategies.  Whats done here is now posted on two websites, which I am
    happy about.  I also plan on making the whole thing much better looking.

    Hello! My name is Harpyeagle 7, and this is my very first guide ever.  I
    decided to do it on this game, Star Wars: Battlefront II, because it is one of
    my favorite games, and I noticed that there is not much already on GameFAQs for
    it.  I have tried to go into as much detail as possible, but if I have

    and then rolling away to detonate it.  The Health/Ammo Dispenser is very useful
    when you are low on health.

    Bothan Spies are very useful for sneaking up on the enemy.  The Incinerator 
    kills enemies very quickly, and they can also be used to plant Timebombs on 
    turrets without getting shot. 
    
    Wookiee Warrior
    Must have   points to unluck each battle
    Primary 1: Bowcaster
    Primary 2: Grenade Launcher
    Secondary 1: Thermal Detonators
    Secondary 2: Remote Droid
    
    Wookiee Warriors are very powerful.  The Bowcaster is a one hit kill at close 
    range,and the Grenade Launcher is powerful too.  The Remote Droid can be used
    to causea lot of damage to large groups of enemies.

    your shots will miss, until you get the Advanced Rifle upgrade, which is very
    powerful and accurate.

    Description
    The Dark Trooper has a very powerful Arc Caster.  If you charge it up for a 
    while, it can kill an enemy instantly, as well as lance out and hurt any 
    other enemies close to it too.  Tap X to use the jetpack to move around the 
    map much quicker.

    In my opinion, the Clone Commander is one of the best units.  Even though the 
    Chaingun is slow to start shooting, it can very quickly take out any unit, even
    a Droideka.
    
    Jet Trooper

    Primary 2: Commando Pistol
    Secondary: Thermal Detonators
    
    Jet Troopers are very useful for their EMP Launcher, which can very quickly 
    takeout large groups of enemies, as well as take down a Droideka shield in 2 
    shots.  The Jet Trooper also has a jetpack which can be used to move very 
    quickly through the map.

    Wrist Rocket.

    When you use the Bulldog RLR, press square to lock onto the enemies head.  If 
    you hit, it will be a one hit kill.  The Radiation is also a one hit kill with
    a direct hit.
    
    Droideka
    Requires 12 points to unlock
    Primary: Repeating Blaster
    Secondary: Shield Emitter
    
    Description
    The Droideka is probably the most powerful unit, and also the most annoying 
    when you are playing against it.  The Repeating Blaster can kill an enemy in a 
    few hits,and it shoots very fast.  The Shield Emitter makes it so you can't be 
    hurt as long as it is up.  Always go into ball mode to move around, because it 
    is much faster.

    war.  You play as the Republic for the first seven missions.

                                 Training Mission
                           Geonosis: Attack of the Clones
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The Grand Army of the Republic is making is debut on the plains of Geonosis.
    Leading the way are the troopers of the 501st Legion.  Learn the basics of
    units, weapons, and mission objectives while trying to survive the 501st's 1st
    foray into combat.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    For the first objective, you simply have to move over to the yellow arrow, 
    Checkpoint Alfa. 
    
    Objective 2
    The second objective is to defend the area by killing the 3 Super Battle Droids
    Destroy them using your blaster rifle.
    
    Objective 3
    Your next objective is to destroy a damaged Hailfire Droid.  Use L1 to throw 
    grenades at it until it blows up.  The grenades stick to it, which is a huge 
    improvement over BF1. 
    
    Objective 4
    Next, you have to capture the Downed Techo Union Ship Command Post.  All you 
    have to do is stay within the area around the command post until its color 
    changes to blue.  There are some droids who will try to attack you, so keep an
    eye out.
    
    Objective 5
    For this objective you have simply have to repair an Ammo Droid and a Medical
    Droid.  Go near the command post you just captured and press triangle.  The 
    Unit Select screen will appear.  Switch to the Engineer Class.  Follow the 
    objective arrows to the 2 droids.  Use R2 to switch to the fusion cutter, which
    you should use to fix the 2 droids.
    
    Objective 6
    Next you have to get into the AT-TE, and then destroy a CIS Spider Walker.  
    Run over to the AT-TE and get in.  Zoom in and fire both weapons, primary and
    secondary at one of the Spider Droids.  
    
    Objective 7
    Get out of the AT-TE and go back to the command post.  Use triangle to switch 
    units again, and switch to the Jet Trooper class.  Exit the Command Post and 
    tap X twice to use your jet pack.  Fly up to the top of the Techno Union Ship,
    and pick up the holocron.  Fly back down and take the holocron over to the
    objective marker.
    
    Objective 8
    Next, use the Jetpack to fly up onto the cliff indicated by the objective 
    marker.  Use the blaster pistol to kill all of the enemies in the area, and 
    then capture the command post.
    
    Objective 9
    Go to the blue command post marker and change to the sniper.  Press R3 twice to
    zoom all the way in, and work on shooting droids.
    
    Objective 10
    Go back to the command post marker and switch to the heavy trooper.  Press 
    square to lock onto a spider droid.  Once the white circle changes to red, 
    shoot, and your missle will hit.  Do this again until the Droid is destroyed.
    
    Objective 11
    Next, you have to switch to Mace Windu and kill 10 droids.  this is not to 
    difficult.  An easy way to do this is to target a droid, then sprint towards
    it and slash it to kill it in one hit when you get close.  
    
    Objective 12
    Next, you have to capture 1 more commmand post.  Go towards the objective
    marker and kill all the droids in the area.  Then, capture the command post.
    
                             MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                 Mission 1
                         Mygeeto: Amongst the Ruins
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    General Ki-Adi-Mundi is leading the attack on the CIS manufacturing planet of
    Mygeeto.  A powerful Energy Collector supplies power to its factories.  Destry
    the energy collector and recover the unique power crystals from its core.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    Starting at the #1 Command Post, start as the Clone Trooper.  Walk towards the
    yellow arrow to reach the first objective, killing any droids along the way.  
    Clear the area around the command post of any enemies to capture it.  As you
    are capturing the command post, watch out for droids, especially in the 
    hallway to the right.
     
    Objective 2
    After you've captured the command post, switch to the Heavy Trooper by pressing
    triangle while you are near the blue marker.  Use your rocket launcher to 
    destroy the two turrets.  
    
    You can now switch to Ki-Adi-Mundi by pressing left.
    I reccomend that you do this.  Once  you have chosen him, you get to choose a 
    command post to start at.Go to command post #3, as it is the closest to your 
    next objective.
    
    Objective 4
    Now, go towards the next objective.  You will run into a green force 
    field.  Jump over it and slash at the box to destroy the force field.
    Continue on to the next objective, which is to capture a command post.  
    Remember to keep an eye out for droids.
      
    Objective 5
    You now have to destroy another green force field.  If you lost Ki-Adi-Mundi,
    You can simply go to the left side of the force field, go through the 
    building, and throw a grenade at the box.  Cross the bridge to get to the
    building that houses the energy collector.
    
    To destroy the energy collector, you must first destroy another force field.
    Throw grenades at the boxes around the building to destroy the force fields
    if you don't have Ki-Adi-Mundi.  If you do, just slash the boxes as usual.
    
    You will now be able to enter the building and destroy the energy collector,
    but first you will have to destroy several Droideka.  The best way to do this
    is to alternate taking cover with shooting it until the shields are down, or 
    throw your lightsaber.
    
    Now that the room is clear, you can destroy the energy collector with grenades
    or your lightsaber.  (If you run out of grenades, use the ammo droid right
    outside).  
    
    Objective 6
    After it is destroyed, pick up the power crystals.  Now all that is left to do 
    is to takethe crystals back to the gunship by following the yellow dot on the 
    map and destroying any droids in the way.

                                   Mission 2
                          Coruscant: A Desperate Rescue
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    This is the first space battle of Rise of the Empire, and it is quite easy, so 
    get some practice while you can!
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    Choose to spawn at the only place you can as a pilot.  Walk forward and climb 
    into the ARC-170 Fighter to complete the 1st objective.
    
    Objective 2
    You now have to shoot down 5 enemy fighters.  Press square to target one of 
    thefighters.  A white circle should apear around it.  Shoot your blasters at
    the target until the circle shrinks down and turns red.  When it turns red, you 
    have a missle lock on it and your missles will follow it.  If these do not 
    destroy it, do this again until it is destroyed.  Remember to keep moving as
    you destroy the rest.    
    
    Objective 3
    Fly over to the yellow objective marker, which is the Banking Clan Frigate.  
    You have to destroy it. The best way to do this is to fly underneath it and 
    shoot both missles and lasers at it until it blows up.  When the lasers get 
    overheated, you should wait for them to cool down before using them again, but 
    continue to shoot your missles.

    Objective 4
    Your next objective is to shoot down the shields on the CIS's main ship, with
    the yellow objective marker on it.  Use the saim tactics as you did in 
    objective3.  
    
    Objective 5
    Once the shields are down, you are supposed to destroy the communications 
    array.  You can use the same tactic yet again to destroy it.
    
    Objective 6
    The next objective is to land in the CIS ship's hanger.  Head to the blue 
    shield surrounded by white on the ship you have been attacking.  As you 
    approach the hangar, slow down by pulling back on the right analog stick.  
    Be very careful not to crash and to avoid the other ships that are coming out 
    of the  hanger.  Once inside, press X to land.
    
    Objective 7
    Next, you have to destroy the internal systems, which in this case means just 
    the engines.  Walk up the stairs and go through one of the doors.  The room you
    need to go into is the one directly to your right as you enter in the doors.
    In the back of the room, there are big green cylinders.  Plant time bombs 
    directly on these and then back away.  It takes three bombs to destroy it.
    
    Objective 8
    Next you have to go back out the way you came into the hangar.  You have to get
    back into a fighter.  If your Arc-170 is gone, that is okay.  Just steal a 
    droid fighter instead.  Fly back out of the hanger.  Once outside turn around
    and destroy the command center of the ship.
    
                              MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                  Mission 3
                          Felucia: Heart of Darkness
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The CiS is entrenched on Felucia, and have been beaten back several attacks. 
    The 182nd Legion landed last month, and hasn't been heard from since.  As the
    Republic's finest, the burden is now upon the 501st to liberate Felucia
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective is simply to walk over to the AT-TE.  Just use the yellow
    marker on the map.  
    
    Objective 2
    Your next objective is to kill 6 Acklay.  You have to be very careful, because
    the Acklay can kill you in one hit.  As it moves towards you, back away and
    keep shooting at the Acklay until it dies.  Do the same thing again for all 
    six.  
    
    Objective 3
    Now, you have to defend the AT-TE for 2:00.  You can just use the Clone Trooper
    and kill any droids you see with the blaster rifle.  After 2:00 is up, you will
    get your next objective.
    
    Objective 4
    You now have the option of using Aayla Secura, which I recommend.  You have to 
    go and get a power cell to power the AT-Te.  Sprint or jump to the objective to
    the east, where you will find the power cell.  Sprint back to the AT-TE to 
    complete the objective.
    
    Objective 5
    The next and last objective is to destroy 6 turrets.  As Aayla Secura, get into
    the AT-TE.  Use it to destroy the 6 turrets.
    
                             MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                  Mission 4
                        Kashyyyk: First Line of Defense
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The CIS is laying siege to the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk.  Break through 
    the enemy blockade and relieve th beleaguered garrison until more 
    reinforcements arrive.  Destroy the Separist flagship at all costs.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective is to destroy the two enemy frigates.  As a pilot, climb 
    into a V-Wing and take off.  Fly over to the first objective, one of the 
    frigates.  Use L1 to drop bombs on it.  It takes 4 salvos of 6 bombs to destroy
    each frigate.  If you start taking a lot ov fire, fly around a little bit and 
    then return to your bombing.
    
    Objective 2
    Next, you have to take out the two heavy guns that are next to the hangar.  You 
    can use bombs to do this part, too.  Use the same strategy as last time.  Each
    gun takes one salvo of bombs 
    
    Objective 3
    For the next objective, fly back to the hangar and switch to the Clone Marine.
    Go and climb into the LAAT Gunship.  Fly it into the enemy hangar, being 
    careful not to crash.  
    
    Objective 4
    For this objective, you have to destroy the enemy ship's life support and
    engines.  (If you die, you can now respawn right in the enemy hanger) First,
    destroy the engines.  Go into the room with the turret stations.  Go into the
    room directly to the right.  Shooting two rockets at the engines destroys them.
    Now you have to destroy the life support.  Exit the engine room and go into the
    room straight across from you.  Kill all the droids in this room, and then use
    your other 2 rockets to destroy the life support at the back of the room.  
    
    Objective 5
    Exit the life support room and go to your left.  This is where you will find 
    the holocron.  Go back into the hangar and get into any fighter.  Take the 
    holocron back to your ship's hangar.  Run into the other room and walk into the
    blue area to complete the objective.
    
                             MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                 Mission 5
                       Kashyyyk: A Line in the Sand
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The 501st has reinforced the Wookiee defenders at a key rifinery.  Master Yoda
    himself is coordinating the defense of this critical installation.  The line 
    has been drawn; there can be no retreat.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective of this mission is to capture a command post, and then hold
    it for 3:00.  This can be very difficult to do if you are not careful.  First,
    run down to the command post marked on your map.  Capture it.  The easiest way
    to defend it is to use your blaster rifle, and the low walls for cover.  If you
    are good at using them, you can use the Heavy Trooper to lay mines and destroy 
    the CIS tanks.  Keep moving and try not to die, because I've had this command
    post taken over when I'm trying to respawn.
    
    Objective 2
    The next objective is just to retreat behind the seawall.  Run up the hill and
    get behind it.
    
    Objective 3
    The next objective is to defend the oil refinery for 4:00.  The easiest way to 
    do this is to get into the tank that is nearby and use rockets and blasters to
    kill all the enemy droids.  If your tank gets low on health, get out and wait
    for it to get destroyed.  A new one will spawn where you found the original.
    If the refinery gets low on health, switch to an engineer and use the fusion 
    cutter to fix it.

    Objective 4
    The next objective is to capture the rest of the command posts.  Switch to 
    Yoda.  First, go to the nearest command post.  Destroy any nearby enemies, and
    capture it.  Next go to the command post at the edge of the beach, which you 
    had to hold for 3:00 earlier.  Again, destroy any nearby droids and capture the
    command post.  The  next command post is to your left.  Go to it, destroy any 
    nearby droids, and capture it.  The next and last command post is straight 
    ahead.  Run over to it.  Destroy the nearby enemies, and capture it.  Be very 
    careful to hide behind rocks if there is a droid tank nearby, as it can kill you
    in one hit.
    
                            MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                 Mission 6
                         Utapau: Underground Ambush
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    Republic intelligence believes General Grievous is here on Utapau.  General 
    Kenobi has gone ahead by himself to scout the planet.  Secure a landing area 
    and link up with Kenobi to crush the Separatists once and for all.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective is take over the command post to your south.  Kill any 
    droids around it and run up the stairs to take it over.
    
    Objective 2
    For the next objective, get into the AT-RT and make your way towards the yellow
    objective marker on your map.  Using rockets and blasters, you should be able 
    to destroy the AAT without being killed yourself.  Move over to the command 
    post and take it over, destroying any enemies along the way.
    
    Objective 3
    For this objective, you can use Obi-Wan Kenobi if you want, but I prefer to use
    the Clone Trooper.  Capture the indicated command post.  This can be very 
    difficult, because there are tons of droids in the hangar.  be careful and move
    a lot to avoid being killed while you capture the command post.  After you
    capture the command post, you will get a message saying to kill General 
    Grevious.  Switch to the Clone Commander, and use his chain gun to kill the 
    General.
    
    Objective 4
    The next objective is to destroy the two turrets at the edge of the hangar.  
    Use the Heavy Trooper for this.  It takes one rocket for each turret.
    
    Objective 5
    Next, you have to destroy the energy pillar.  The best way to do this is to 
    find a tank.  First use it to destroy the AAT that is guarding the pillar.  
    Then, destroy the energy pillar to finish the mission

                                  Mission 7
                            Corscant: Knightfall
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    Order 66 has been given.  The Jedi collaborators must be eliminated.  On 
    Coruscant, the 501st has been given the singular honor of executing this order
    under the command of the newly anointed Lord Vader.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective is to take over the Council Chamber.  Run forward from 
    where you are at the start.  As you proceed you will encounter Temple Soldiers
    and Jedi.  The Temple Soldiers are just like any other soldiers; destroy them
    as usual.  The Jedi are harder, because they can block.  Shoot at them until
    they stop blocking, and they quickly die.  When you get to the council chamber,
    there are three turrets guarding it.  Shoot out the soldiers inside of them, 
    and then go into the chamber.  Kill any enemies in here, and take it over.
    
    Objective 2
    Next, you just have to walk over to the library.  Follow the yellow marker on
    your map over to it. 
    
    Objective 3
    This objective is to keep the Jedi from destroying the bookcases for 2:00.  
    Thebest way to do this is to stay and defend a single bookcase, because only 
    one has to survive.  Shoot any Jedi who come near it
    
    Objective 4
    The next objective is to retrieve a holocron.  Go up the stairs in the library
    and into the green room.  There tend to be a lot of Jedi in this room, so be
    careful.  The holocron is in the next room.  Go back through the green room,
    down the stars, through the library, and then all the way to your left to get
    the holocron to the veranda.  
    
    Objective 5
    You now have the option to switch to Anakin Skywalker, which you should do.
    The objective is to go to the objective marker and kill another Jedi, then
    take his holocron back where you came from.  This should be no problem now
    that you are Anakin.  
    
    Objective 6
    The next objective is to kill the three Jedi Masters.  This is pretty easy, 
    butthey like to throw their lightsabers a lot, so be careful.  The easiest way 
    isto throw your own lighsaber at them, as it kills them in one hit.  If you
    die, switch to the Clone Commander and use his chaingun to kill the remaining 
    JediMasters.

                            Part 2: Galactic Empire
    ###############################################################################
    
    Part 2 of the Rise of the Empire mode is about how the Emperor worked to crush
    any rebellion against the Empire, including the Rebel Alliance.  This is where
    I believe the game truly starts to get hard, especially because of the Clone
    Troopers' horribly inaccurate blaster rifles.

                                   Mission 8
                           Naboo: Imperial Diplomacy
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The Empire is flourishing under Emperor Palpatine, but there are still elements
    that resist the New Order.  Chief among these is the Queen of Naboo; rumor has 
    it she is also sheltering fugitive Jedi.  It is time to bring Vader's Fist down
    on these traitors
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective in this mission is to take over a command post.  Kill any 
    enemies in the area and capture it.  Pay attention and keep moving and you 
    should have no problem.  
    
    Objective 2
    This objective is to capture another command post.  Turn on the full screen 
    map.  There are two paths you can take.  Take the one with the fewest enemies,
    since it is the one without the turret grid.  As you near the command post,
    watch out for the two turrets at the end of the path.  From the turrets, go 
    left to find the command post.  Kill all the enemies in the area and capture 
    the command post.  
    
    Objective 3
    The next objective is to take over yet another command post.  Take the tank
    and make your way over to it.  By the command post, there are two enemy tanks.  
    Take them out, and then take out the turret to the east that is probably
    shooting at you.  Get out of the tank, kill any enemies in the area, and 
    capture the command post.
    
    Objective 4
    For the next objective, head up the ramp that is right next to the command 
    post.  Kill all of the enemies up here, and then throw a grenade at the box to
    destroy the turret grid.
    
    Objective 5
    For the next objective, you just have to kill several Jedi Knights, which is
    extremely easy if your tank is still there.  Just climb into it and shoot 
    rockets at the Jedi to kill them in one hit each.
    
    Objective 6
    This time, you just have to kill the queen.  She is dressed in all red, so she
    is pretty easy to spot.  One rocket from a tank quickly takes care of her too.
    
    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                   Mission 9
                          Mustafar: Preventive Measures
    ******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    Gizor Delso, a Geonosian fugitive, has reactivated a battle droid army in the 
    Mustafar system.  The 501st is in the system, but its star destroyer has been
    boarded by Delso's forces.  Repel the enemy boarders and take the fight to 
    them.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    For the first objective, a droid gunship has landed in your hangar.  Start out
    as a marine, and kill all of the droids already in the hangar.  Then, use your
    rocket launcher to destroy the gunship.  If any new droids spawn, make sure 
    you kill them right away.
    
    Objective 2
    For this objective, switch to a Pilot, then get into either a TIE Fighter or a
    TIE Interceptor.  You have to kill 8 other fighters.  Use your blasters, but
    don't forget about missles.  Also, pay attention to what you're doing and don't
    crash into an asteroid.
    
    Objective 3
    After finishing objective 2, head back to the hangar, land, and get into a
    bomber.  Use it to destroy the enemy ship's shields.  
    
    Objective 4
    The next objective is to land in the enemy hangar.  Get out of your bomber,
    and steal one of the enemies.  Fly it out of their hangar and land it in 
    your own.
    
    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                    Mission 10
                           Mustafar: Tying Up Loose Ends
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    Gizor Delso has built prototypes of a new battle droid in the hopes of
    resurrecting the CIS army.  Destroy the plans for this prototype and any 
    reactivated battle droids in the mining facility.  Needless to say, Delso 
    must als0 be found and terminated
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective is to capture a command post.  Make your way towards 
    it, killing any droids in the way.  As you capture it, keep an eye out for
    more droids to spawn in the room until you neutralize it.
    
    Objective 2
    The next objective is again to capture a command post.  Move over to it, and 
    watch out for enemy units, especially snipers, since the can kill you very
    quickly.  Capture the command post, again keeping an eye out for newly spawned
    droids.
    
    Objective 3
    The next objective is to capture yet another command post.  Do the same 
    thing as the last two times, and you should be fine.
    
    Objective 4
    This objective is to destroy the schematics for a new droid army.  Go to 
    the yellow objective marker and throw grenades at the blue table things to 
    finishthe objective
    
    Objective 5
    For this objective, go towards the yellow marker and retrieve the beacon.  
    Head in the direction of the next marker until you get to a place where you
    can choose to go down some stairs or to the left.  Go to the left and then 
    turn right and head straight to where you leave the beacon.
    
    Objective 6
    Turn around and head straight and then up the ramp.  There you will 
    probably see Gizor Delso running around.  Kill him with your blaster rifle,
    or if you have troubl doing that, switch to the Dark Trooper and use its 
    gun to kill him.
    
                            MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                   Mission 11
                          Kamino: Changing of the Guard
    ***************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The Kaminoans have turned against the Empire and are using our own brothers 
    against us.  Lord Vader has hired a special mercenary to lead us in this 
    difficult battle.  He has unique knowledge of the cloning chambers that will
    be invaluable during the siege.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    For the first objective, start as Boba Fett and just fly over to the marked 
    access panel.
    
    Objective 2
    Kill any enemies in the immediate area, and then use wrist rockets to blow up 
    the access panel.
    
    Objective 3
    This objective is to go into the white building and get a DNA sample for the 
    clones.  Watch out for the auto-turrets in this builing--they can be deadly.  
    It takes two shots to destroy them.  Move in and get the DNA Sample.
    
    Objective 4
    Exit this room from the way you came in.  Once you are back outside, go to the
    northernmost ramp and cross it.  Then, cross the one right ahead of you to get
    to the ship.
    
    Objective 5
    Go onto the left of the two ramps from here.  Use your jetpack to jump down to 
    the next platform.  Kill all the enemies on this platform, then continue on to 
    the next platform, which holds the command post.  Kill all the enemies in the 
    area, and then capture it.
    
    Objective 6
    This objective is to destroy 5 life support pods so that no more clones can
    be created.  Fly over to the cloning center and go inside.  Go through the 
    hallways until you find the room where the pods are.  The quickest way to 
    destroy them is with detpacks.  As you destroy them, watch out for enemies.
    
    Objective 7
    Next, you have to destroy 2 gunships.  The first one is easy.  You can just
    set detpacks underneath it until it blows up.  The second one is slightly 
    harder.  It is flying, so you have to shoot rockets at it.  If you die, use
    the Shock trooper instead, because his rockets can lock on.
    
    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                   Mission 12
                           Death Star: Prison Break
    ****************************************************************************
    Briefing
    A contingent of Rebel prisoners has escaped from their cells.  Making 
    matters worse is the fact that they have also managed to steal the technical 
    readouts to the Death Star.  Eliminate the prisoners and secure the plans 
    before they are beamed off-station.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    Just run down into the hangar to complete this objective.
    
    Objective 2
    This objecive is to defend the hangar for 2:00.  The easiest way to do this 
    is to use the Stormtrooper and just shoot everyone.  Keep an eye out, because
    enemies come from both entrances.
    
    Objective 3
    Make your way to the next objective marker.  Kill all the enemies in the 
    area, and then capture the command post. 
    
    Objective 4
    This objective has you recapture the stolen Death Star plans.  Run down one
    of the red hallways in the direction of the objective marker.  Kill the enemy 
    soldier with the yellow arrow above him, and take the plans.  Carry them 
    back to the command post you just captured.
    
    Objecive 5
    go back down the red hallway, and then towards the wall.  Turn left, and 
    then go as far as you can.  Go towards the spinning white thing, and you 
    will be in the fire control room.  Kill all the enemies in this area, and
    then capture the command post.
    
    Objective 6
    For this objective, switch to the Shock trooper.  Follow the path to the 
    next objective, killing any enemies along the way.  Eventually you will 
    reach the hangar.  Use your rocket launcher to destroy the landing craft 
    right away.  
    
    Objective 7
    Next you have to kill another Jedi.  Try to use your rocket launcher to kill 
    him from far away.  If he kills you, switch to a Stormtrooper and use your 
    blaster rifle to kill him.

                                  Mission 13
                     Polis Massa: Birth of the Rebellion
    *****************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The Death Star plans have not been secured as previously thought.  Imperial 
    intelligence has tracked the plans to a small Rebel outpost in the Polis 
    Massa system.  Recover the plans and destroy the Rebel outpost.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    For the first objective, run to the objective marker, which is a command 
    post.  Kill all the enemies in the area, and then capture the command post.
    
    Objective 2
    Next, follow the objective markers to pick up a holodisk.  Kill all the 
    enemies on the way there.  As you get close, you may meet a huge group of
    enemies.  Throw a grenade into the group to wipe out most of them.  Head 
    up the stairs and pick up the holodisk.  Take it back the way you came 
    to the command post you captured earlier.
    
    Objective 3
    Next, you have to defend the comm center for 2:00.  Make sure you watch each
    of the three hallways for enemies, and kill any you see.
    
    Objective 4
    This next objective is probably the hardest of this mission, because there 
    are so many enemies.  Make your way to the yellow objective marker. 
    Eventually you will be underground.  There are tons of enemies in this room.
    Try to kill the mall, then throw grenades at the thing that the objective 
    marker points at to destroy it.
    
    Objective 5
    The next objective is to run all the way back to the hangar and capture.  
    Followthe yellow marker all the way there, killing any enemies along the way.
    Once you get to the hangar, kill all of the enemies in the room, and then 
    capture the command post.  While you are capturing it, watch out for enemies
    who come up the two sets of stairs.

                                  Mission 14
                        Tantive IV: Recovering the Plans
    ******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    Lord Vader has determined the Death Star plans were beamed to the Tantive IV, 
    a consular ship under the flag of Alderaan.  The Ambassador, Princess Leia 
    Organa, is believed to be a member of the Rebel Alliance.  The 501st will 
    the ship, recover the plans, and take Leia Organa prisoner.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    For this objective, you have to capture a command post.  Just getting there 
    canbe tough, however, because of all the grenades that get thrown.  Once you 
    finally get in the room, clear it of enemies and take it over.  
    
    Objective 2
    You now have the option to play as Darth Vader, which you should.  Proceed 
    towards the objective marker.  Kill any enemies you see along the way.  
    
    Objective 3
    Next, you have to destroy several security terminals.  One slash with your 
    lightsaber destroys each one.  
    
    Objecive 4
    Next, go toward the objective marker yet again.  You will be in a room with a
    large spinning turbine blocking your path.  Throw your lightsaber at the 
    control panel to stop it.  Move up the walkways and kill any enemies.  Pick up 
    the access codes and take them back to the security terminal.  
    
    Objective 5
    For this objective, you have to find and kill Princess Leia.  Go back to the 
    command post where you started from at the beginning of the battle.  Walk 
    forward to the stairs and go down them.  She is in the first door on the right.
    Use your lightsaber to kill her.
    
    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

                                   Mission 15
                        Yavin 4: Vader's Fist Strikes Back
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The Rebel scum are fleeing their base on Yavin 4.  Imperial intelligence 
    believesmost of their command staff is spread among the transport ships.  
    Destroy the transports before they can make the jump to hyperspace, then attack 
    the remaining warships.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    For this objective, you have 3:00 to destroy 5 Rebel Transports.  At the 
    start ofthe battle, spawn as the pilot, and get into a bomber.  Start bombing
    the transports.  It takes two salvos of 6 bombs to destroy each one.
    
    Objective 2
    For this objective, you have to destroy 2 Rebel Frigates.  It takes about 8 
    bombs to destroy each of these.
    
    Objective 3
    You now have 10:00 to destroy 10 fighters.  Fly back to your hangar and get 
    into a TIE Fighter.  Fly out of the hangar and destroy 10 other fighters as 
    quickly as you can.
    
    Objective 4
    This objective is to destroy the heavy turrets, with however much time you 
    have left out of the 10:00 to do it in.  Fly back to the hangar and get into a 
    TIE Bomber.  Fly over to the enemy ship and destroy the 4 Turrets.  It takes 1 
    salvo of 6 bombs to destroy each one
    
    Objective 5
    The last objective is to use whatever time is left to destroy The Rebel Ship's 
    engines.  There are six, and each takes 1 salvo to destroy, so you have to move 
    very quickly.  Watch out for missle locks as well.

                                   Mission 16
                        Yavin 4: Revenge of the Empire
    *******************************************************************************
    Briefing
    The Rebels still maintain a sizable force in their base on Yavin.  The 501st 
    has been given the honor of avenging the Death Star's destruction.  Remember
    your brethren aboard the battle station and show the traitors no mercy.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective of this mission is to capture a command post.  Run down to 
    it and clear out all of the enemies in the area.  Capture the command post.  
    Watch out for enemies as you take it over.
    
    Objective 2
    Objective 2 is to capture another command post.  The easiest way to capture it
    is to take a tank and kill all the enemies in the area.  Once they are all
    dead ,get out of the tank and take the command post over.
    
    Objective 3
    This objective is to capture yet another command post.  Again, clear out any 
    defenders, and then capture it.
    
    Objective 4
    Now, you have to defend the command post you just captured for 2:00.  My 
    favorite way to do this is to just use the stormtrooper to kill any enemies 
    that get in.
    
    Objective 5
    Next, you have to acquire a bomb and blow open the Rebel Base.  To get the 
    bomb, take a tank, and rush over to the base where it is, and kill all of the
    enemies in the area.  Run up to the top of the building, and grab the bomb.  
    Get back into the tank and press the sprint button to drive faster.  Get out 
    and walk over by the wall to plant the bomb.  Run away, and after 10 seconds,
    the bomb will blow up.
    
    Objective 6
    the next objective is to kill the three Rebel leaders.  They can be very hard 
    to kill, since they are Bothan Spies and they can become invisible.  Try to 
    killthem with your blaster rifle, but if you can't, respawn as a Dark Trooper 
    and use his main gun to take them out quickly.

                                   Mission 17
                              Hoth: Our Finest Hour
    *******************************************************************************
    
    Briefing
    Lord Vader has discovered the hidden Rebel base on Hoth.  General Veers is 
    leadingthe ground assaul on the base's shield generators.  Lord Vader will land
    once the generators are down and personally see to the destruction of the Rebel
    base and the end of the Rebellion.
    
    Strategy
    
    Objective 1
    The first objective is to capture a command post.  the easiest way to do this
    is to take the AT-AT and drive it over to the command post.  On the way there, 
    take out theturrets and as many soldiers as possible.  Once you've driven 
    straight up to it, get out of the AT-AT and capture the command post.
    
    Objective 2
    You now have to capture another command post.  Do the same thing as last time 
    and you should have no problem.
    
    Objective 3
    The next objective is to use the AT-ATs to destroy the shield generator.  Zoom 
    in on it and shoot both guns at the same time to destroy it.  
    
    Objective 4
    This objective is to capture another command post.  Use the same strategy as 
    before to capture it.  
    
    Objective 5
    Now you get to play as Darth Vader.  Go to the objective marker and destroy the
    console to open up a path.
    
    Objective 6
    Now, make your way into the back hangar and capture it.  This is pretty easy 
    with Darth Vader.
    
    Objective 7
    Next, go and pick up the beacon and run it over underneath the transport ship.
    
    Objective 8
    Now, you just have to protect the beacon for 2:00, and then you will have 
    completed the mission.

                              6. Galactic Conquest
    ===============================================================================
    Galactic Conquest is the game mode where you get to command ships and try to
    control all 13 planets.   
    
    At the beginning of Galactic Conquest, you pick your faction.  They are:
    Birth of the Rebellion
    The Confederate Uprising
    Republic Sovereignty
    Dark Reign of the Empire
    
    Before you get into a battle, you get to do several things.  One of them is to
    purchase units.  You start out with only 2 units.  They are the Blaster Rifle
    Class and the Pilot Class.  You have to buy the rest.  The Marine Class is 800
    credits, and the special classes are 1800 credits each.  The rest are 1000
    credits.  At the beginning of Galactic Conquest, I usually just buy the
    Engineer and the Marine, since they are the only ones I use.  
    
    The next thing you can do is to buy bonuses.  The bonuses are:

                              7. Instant Action
    ===============================================================================
    In Instant Action, you can pick a level to play, for practice or just for fun.
    This is the best way to play splitscreen with friends.
    
    To start a game, go to Instant Action.  Select Add, and pick one of the levels.
    (If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you can choose to play all of the 
    levels).  The levels you can choose are:

    After you have chose your level, you can choose the type of game you want.

    Assault(Type 2)
    
     Conquest
    The Conquest version is the basic capture command posts type of game from 
    Battlefront 1.  In it, you go around and try to destroy all of your 
    opponents reinforcements while keeping your numbers intact.  You do this by 
    capturing all of the command posts, defending your own, and killing the enemy.
    
     2 Flag CTF
    
    In this Capture the Flag mode, you have to get to the enemy base, capture their
    flag, and bring it back to your base to score a point.  The first team to a set
    amount of points wins the game.
    
     1 Flag CTF
    In this Capture the Flag mode, you have to get a flag that no one owns and take 
    it back to the enemy base.  If you get it back to your base, you score a point.
    
     Hunt
    The Hunt mode is where you get to play as either a creature from one of the 
    planets or one of the factions that goes there.  The object is to kill all of 
    the enemy in the set amount of time.
    
     Assault(Type 1)
    This Assault mode is just like the Hunt mode, except that you play as the 
    Heroes from the game
    
     Assault(Type 2)
    This is the space battles where you you have to score a set ammount of points 
    bydestroying enemy fighters, frigates, and the buildings on the inside or
    outside of the enemy capital ship.  The destroyable things are the shields, the 
    engines, the life support, the communications array, the bridge, the automated 
    turrets, and the engine cooling system.

                               8. General Tips
    ===============================================================================
    Here I will write some general tips for playing Battlefront 2.
    
    -Always move.  Move randomly when you are being shot at directly to avoid most 
    of the shots.  When you are shooting at an enemy, move around them and shoot to
    kill them without taking damage.
    
    -Use vehicles as much as possible.  They are more powerful than normal units 
    and can take a lot more hits, as well as do tons of damage.
    
    -Use cover whenever possible to avoid getting hurt.
    
    -Rocket Launcher units and Engineers are the best for defending bases, because
    of their Mines and Detpacks.  The Engineer is probably the best of the two, 
    because the shotgun is easier to kill with.
    
    -Try to keep more command posts than your enemy at all times, because you 
    slowly drain their reinforcements whenever you have more Command Posts.
    
    -Use the Jedi well by going into areas with lots of enemies and kill them, so
    you drain their reinforcements and keep your health high.  
    
    -Use the Jetpack units well.  They are extremely useful to surprise your enemy,
    but they are easily killed.

                                10. Using Jedi
    ===============================================================================
    All Jedi have 4 basic attacks: Lightsaber attack (R1), Lightsaber Block (R2),
    and 2 special moves (L1/L2).  The special moves for the Jedi are Lightsaber 
    Throw, Force Push, and Force Pull.  The Sith have Lightsaber Throw, Force Push, 
    Force Choke, and Force Lightning.  All of the Jedi can also use a Force Jump
    move similar to the Jetpacks. 
    
    Instead of a health bar, the Jedi and Sith have a blue bar shaped like a 
    lightsaber that works like a timer that says how long you can use the Jedi for.
    It also goes down if you get shot or if you kill and ally.  It goes up if you
    kill and enemy.  Once the timer runs out, you lose the Jedi.
    
    I find that the best time to use Jedi is if you are losing and you need to 
    capture command posts quickly.  You can sprint/jump across the whole map and 
    kill many enemies, as well as capture command posts.
    
    Another way that you can use Jedi is on the Mos Eisley Assault map.  In this 
    version, you use Heroes the whole time.  Your units have a normal health bar,
    but are otherwise exactly the same as normal.  
    
    At the beginning of the game, you get to choose to be either the Dark Side or 
    the Light Side.  I prefer to use the Dark Side, but both are good.  
    
    In this game, like the Hunt modes, you don't actually capture command posts.
    Instead, you just have to kill your enemy before they kill you.  This is one
    of my favorite modes to play just for fun.
