Make certain that your sacrifice(s) fits the following:

1. Any physically large character.
2. They are at 100% health. (you can use the Heal spell for this if need be)
3. Sacrifice them at the top of any hour. The top of an hour is marked when a Mercenary takes his pay, or at midnight when you hear a Bandit say, "Lights out you horrible lot!".

NOTE: The two best (and biggest) Mercenaries you can sacrifice are located in Twinblade's (Bandit) Camp and the Temple of Avo (Light). You will need around 600 evil points or more in one sacrifice to ensure that you will obtain Skorm's Bow.

I'm assuming you are going for Skorm's Bow for this. Hire one of the two buff mercenaries (from Twinblade's Camp or the Temple of Avo), and sacrifice them on the stroke of midnight. Begin the conversation with a cultist the instant you hear, "Lights out, you 'orrible lot!", and skip the conversations, and you should get it.

Actually, you need around 1000 evil points to get the bow. Not once in the 50+ times I got 600 points did I get the bow.

I very much doubt the veracity of your "50+ times" claim because of how grossly incorrect you are. You absolutely do not need 1000 evil points to get it, and yes, this has been tested hundreds of times. I even dedicated an entire profile strictly to it. If you get 600 evil points or more in ONE sacrifice you always get Skorm's Bow. If you had spent any significant time on the actual message board you would have known that.

There's one more thing you might want to add; it works best if you're aligned to pure (all the way) good. When your hero is pure good it maximizes the evil points you get. When I sacrifice like that I usually use one of the smaller mercs and get about 500 to 550 evil points and get the bow every time.

Oops, yes, I forgot to mention about moral alignment. It is indeed best to have your Hero's true moral alignment opposite of the place at which he is sacrificing (or donating). Therefore, when making sacrifices at the Chapel of Skorm, it is optimal for your Hero's true moral alignment (tattoos and armour do not count) to be 100% good.

I don't need to go on the message boards when I have first-hand experience of Not getting Skorm's Bow at 600+ evil points in one sacrifice; the lowest I've ever gotten it on was 900, and I usually need to get the formerly-mentioned 1000. At 600, the cultists just say, "Most generous. You shall be rewarded with the evil you crave," and don't give you the bow.

"I don't need to go on the message boards when I have first-hand experience of Not getting Skorm's Bow at 600+ evil points in one sacrifice;"

I should take you at your word and just believe you because...? No, wrong, and that is what the message boards are for. You are using the Answers section like a message board.

"the lowest I've ever gotten it on was 900"

I do not believe you at all. You either read the screen wrong or you are lying. Maybe you have a hardware glitch, but unless you are running it on a Thomson XBOX, then that is highly unlikely.

I routinely get Skorm's Bow at even below 600, and I am not even close to the only person doing it. How do you account for that? I have tested it, specifically in the 500 to 600 range and found the results constant.

"and I usually need to get the formerly-mentioned 1000."

ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE AT ALL. Again, 1000 evil points is not needed whatsoever. Six-Hundred does it all the time and if need be I can make a video proving it although I really do not see why I should waste my time when I think it is much more than likely that you are being dishonest.

"At 600, the cultists just say, "Most generous. You shall be rewarded with the evil you crave," and don't give you the bow."

Considering I have personally done it HUNDREDS of times and always get the Bow at 600 ep's or more, and almost always get the Bow at 500 ep's or more (I have even gotten it in the 300 to 400 range, but that is very rare), I can tell you that you do not know what you are talking about at all.

If you want to discuss this little disagreement more, we should move it to the boards, and if you feel the need, I will make a video, post it up on YouTube and end the debate. I know what I am talking about; I had an entire profile dedicated just to getting Skorm's Bow that started because some kid on the message boards made the opposite claim you just did --- that he was getting the Bow with ZERO evil points received, that was also debunked.

The starting range for getting the bow is 300 to 600. As you drop below 600, the less and less likely you are to get it. At 300 ep's it is nigh impossible. As you meet or exceed 500 ep's it becomes almost guaranteed, and at 600 ep's or above (the max being 1000 ep's) it is guaranteed.
