How do I solve the Oblivion glove easter egg underneath Winterhold?

In the Midden under Winter hold there is a gauntlet with an Oblivion insignia on it that is pointed towards the ceiling and you have to activate the fingers in a certain order to trigger.... something. Does anyone know the order to activate the fingers?

The Midden Dark contains a ritual chamber with a large black metal gauntlet on a pedestal. The symbol of Oblivion is emblazened on the palm of the gauntlet. The Midden Incident Report can be found on the table here, along with the Investigator's Key. Following the clues in the report, the player can find the needed rings in the Arcanaeum, in a master-locked chest. The lock can be picked, or simply opened with the key. Returning the rings to the gauntlet will activate it, and the gauntlet will clench into a fist. Shortly afterwards the dremora Velehk Sain will be summoned.

The Arcaneum is the name of the Library inside the college it's located in the largest tower, hall of elements as you enter it's off to the right side. Inside is the investigator's chest which contains the rings.

once u do get the rings just like kingsephiroth13 said theres really no order to put them on each ring only goes on one finger u just click on one of the fingers and select a ring, once u have em and if its not that ring then u just have to click a on one of the fingers again and select a differnent Ring and repeat this 4 times and hell appear also once he appears dont kill him if u let him go he gives u a pretty good treasure map. i havent searched for the treasure yet but its probably good stuff.
