     As of now, the only website allowed to
      provide this guide, is GameFAQs.com.
      If you want this guide featured on your
      website, contact me in some way. Do not
      use this guide without the consent of
      me first, and do not try to pass off
      anything in this guide as your own.
     Much of my thanks and citation for this
      guide, comes from the Official Prima
      Strategy Guide. I used it for helping
      build this guide, but in no way copied
      it. I tried to put everything in my own
      words, and ways that will help you better
      understand, and find what you're looking
      for.
     Everything in this guide is copywritten to
      their respective owner's and should not
      be passed off as anyone elses work.
     Also, the ASCII art is complimentary from

      looking ASCII art for this game, I'd much
      rather a handmade one. Credit's given

   (0.03)   Why This Guide?
\============================================/

     Hm... Why should you read this guide?
      Well there are some reasons you should,
      and some you shouldn't. This guide is
      for someone who would want to get
      everything. I, myself, got everything
      in this game not so much for
      achievements, but for the satisfaction
      of a completed game. I personally would
      have much rather had a guide such as a
      guide like this, one where things are
      explained thoroughly. Alas, I did have
      much help, but in the form of a PRIMA
      Strategy Guide. Not so fun.
     With this guide, I hope to help you find
      everything, get everything, and do
      everything there is possible to do in
      this game, so you yourself may
      experience such a great (yet short) game
      like this... And also get yourself 970
      Gamerscore points.
     You probably don't want to read this if
      you have a thing about "Spoilers". This
      guide is completely "Spoiler-free"-free.
      Everything is pointed out, every enemy,
      pretty much everything I could stand
      typing into here.
     Overall pretty lame explanation, but I
      really wanted to get back into
      completing this guide for people. Send
      e-mails regarding questions, or
      something. Motivate me.

/=============================================================================\
    (1.01) Chapter 1: Weisman Office Building
\=============================================================================/

     You'll watch a little cutscene, then be in control of the character.
      Move with Dickenson under the crime tape, and follow him until his
      flashlight goes out. He tells you to turn yours on, so do it by pressing
      the B button.

/|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Secret - Bird #1
     Now, instead of following Dickenson, take your first right, and
      enter a small room with desks and chairs. The first bird in the
      game is on a metal storage shelf near the wall.

\|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

     Now, find and follow Dickenson to the room of the crime scene. You soon
      receive a call from Rosa, and she asks you to get some evidence from the
      crime scene. Pull out the UV light by pressing X when prompted, then find
      the spot on the woman's neck with the evidence. Press X again when
      prompted to take out your camera, and take a picture of the woman's neck.
     After that, go over to the male mannequin and take evidence from his face
      by using the light tool, then your digital camera.
     Dickenson starts to smell a cigarette, and tries to find where it's coming
      from. Follow him as he sees the suspect, and a cutscene starts. You get a
      call from Rosa who tells you a dangerous suspect is nearby. After she
      hangs up, you automatically take out your gun. Walk towards the next room
      now, and an enemy should come out. If you shoot him in the head, you can
      save a couple shots.
     Now go to a stairwell with a first-aid kit on the wall, and use the
      first-aid kit if you've lost a decent amount of health. Go up the stairs
      where you meet another enemy. Easily gun him down.

/|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Secret - Metal Piece #1
     Explore nearby the stairwell. You should see eyes drawn in on the
      walls. Go into the room with the eyes on the walls, and locate the
      first metal piece on the wall.

Secret - Bird #2
     In the room with light coming through the windows, where you just
      fought the second enemy, there should be a bird on the windowsill.

\|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

     Ahead past these rooms is a blue cabinet with a health kit, if you need
      it. Keep going and you'll find another enemy that runs behind a wall of
      debris. Backtrack to the room with light coming through the windows, and
      enter the door in the corner of the room to enter the generator room.
      Look for the lever on the wall that Dickenson told you to throw earlier.
      A jolt knocks you back, and you lose your gun.
     Follow the suspect, and grab a pipe from the walls. Move the blue desk at
      this room's far end the progress.

/|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Secret - Bird #3
     After moving the desk, take a left and enter a small room with a
      red first-aid station on the wall. On the floor in front of the
      first-aid kits is the third bird.

\|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

     Keep on following the main path, and you lose the suspect. Move on until
      some thugs break through the wall. Fight them with your weapon equipped,
      and move on through the hole they made in the wall.
     When you move through a hall, your vision goes awry, but just keep moving,
       it changes back.

/|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Secret - Metal Piece #2
     Beyond this hall is the next metal piece on the wall. Look for the
      eyes again drawn on the walls to help you find it.

\|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

     You soon enter a room with a boarded up floor, and you are asked to take
      out one of your tools, the spectrometer, to help you find a bird.

/|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Secret - Bird #4
     Follow the signals on your spectrometer until it's all the way red,
      and look on the ground. The dead bird is in the corner of the
      room.

\|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

     Move on and you'll find another glass case with health kits. Beyond that
      case is another stairwell. Climb up.
     You move on past a white door that needs to be broken down with a fire
      axe. You'll enter a hall with windows and see Dickenson. They have a
      dainty little conversation, and Dickenson throws you a fire axe, so pick
      it up.

/|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Secret - Bird #5
     There's a dead bird on a plank on the ground right in front of the
      window that Dickenson just threw the fire axe through.

Secret - Bronze Detective Badge Xbox 360
     Backtrack to that white fire axe door you saw just as you entered
      this floor, with your fire axe, and chop down the door to enter a
      room with the Bronze Detective Badge Achievement.

\|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

     After collecting those secrets, go on past the door that you recieved the
      fire axe through, and chop down another fire axe door that stands in your
      way. Through this door are a couple of thugs, but now you have full
      control of your taser, so you can press the Left Bumper button, and stun
      one of them and knock them down for an easy kill. After dispatching these
      two thugs, continue on and go through some corridors until some thugs
      ambush you.
     Use your taser heavily to make this fight easy, and try to just take one
      on at a time to make things easier. Destroy all of the thugs in this
      construction area.

/|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Secret - Bird #6
     The final bird in this chapter is on a workbench in this
      construction area.

\|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

     Move on until you see some cabinets and a red health box. Across from the
      health in the cabinets is a sledgehammer. Pick it up.

/|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Secret - Metal Piece #3
     The last metal piece in this chapter is on a column, in the center
      of the room just beyond where you picked up your sledgehammer.
      It's on the opposite side of the column, marked by eyes drawn in
      again.

\|||||||||||||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

     After that, continue on into a room with broken walls, and graffiti. There
      are a couple of thugs in here, but it should be simple with your taser
      and sledgehammer. Once you kill them all, the room goes black as your
      controller vibrates.
     Go through the door nearby you, and you get whacked in the head. You watch
      helplessly as the suspect guns down Dickenson and the officer.

              ||   a little bit easier                   ||
              =============================================

   [ 2 x 4's ]

     2x4 with bolts;       **
      Quick, but short range and minimal damage.

     2x4 with nails;       ***
      Identical to 2x4 with bolts, this one deals heavier damage.

     2x4 (burnt);          **
      Smaller damage than all others, but it's the faster than nails and bolts.

     2x4 (burning);        ****
      Deals decent damage, and is the fastest 2x4. Only shows in final level.

   [ Pipe-like Weapons ]

     Small Pipe;           ***
      Basically the most evened out weapon in the game. Moderate in all fields.

     Conduit;              ***
      Very fast, but low-damage weapon. If you prefer quick weapons, choose it.

     Large Pipe;           **
      Moderate damage and range, it's slow, and tends to clutter the screen.

     Gas Pipe;             ****
      As strong as the large pipe, but more compact, and longer ranged.

     Steam Pipe;           ****
      Deals minimally more damage than the gas pipe, but is also a tad slower.

   [ Large, Flat Weapons ]

     Desktop;              *
      Short-ranged, slow, and not very damaging.

     Sign;                 ***
      Moderately fast, and damage dealing, but large and screen cluttering.

     Large Plank;          **
      Exactly like the sign, except not as strong; go with the sign.

     Desk Drawer;          **
       Not as strong as the sign or plank, but man, it's a drawer!

     Locker Door;          ****
      Same reach as sign and plank, but even more damage dealing.

   [ Rebar's ]

     Bent Rebar;           ***
      Quick and strong, but poor range.

     Straight Rebar;       ***
      Exactly the same as bent rebar, except this has a bit better range.

     Rebar with concrete;  ****
      Extremely strong, but low range.

   [ Miscellaneous Weapons ]

     Mannequin Arm;        **
      One of the fastest weapons, but lowest damage-dealing. Good block too.

     Clothes Rack;         ***
      Faster and longer ranged than the small pipe, but a bit slower.

     Handrail;             ***
      Good reach, slow, and moderate damage. An okay weapon.

     Fireplace Poker;      ****
      Strong, long-ranged, and pretty fast. When you see it later on, get it.

     Fighting Stick;       ****
      Extremely fast and damage-dealing. Short-ranged, but a very good weapon.

     Cleaver;              ****
      One of the fastest and strongest weapons. Short-ranged, but very useful.

     Paper Cutter;         ****
      Strong with good range and excellent damage. Pick it up.

/=============================================================================\
    (2.02)   Entry Tools
\=============================================================================/

   The entry tools are the melee weapons in the game that serve as weapons, and
    tools to help you reach places you normally couldn't. They are some of the
    strongest, and slowest melee weapons in the game.

     Crowbar;              ****
      The crowbar deals high damage, and has moderate range, but is rather
       slow. It opens lockers, and doors that can be pryed.

     Fire Axe;             ****
      The strongest melee weapon in the game. Unfortunately, it's slow at
       blocking, and attacking. It breaks down those white, scathed doors.

     Shovel;               ****
      Awesome screen cluttering ability. Excellent range and damage, but slow
       as well as the other entry tools. Breaks electronic locks on doors.

     Sledgehammer;         ****
      Slighty less damage than the fire axe, and it's the slowest weapon in the
       game. Breaks padlocks off of doors, and health stations.

/=============================================================================\
    (2.03)   Firearms
\=============================================================================/

   The best weapons to take enemies down, but they are limited by their small
    amount of ammunitions availible. Try to aim for the heads' of enemies with
    all of your guns for the quickest takedowns, and ammo saving techniques.

     .45 Pistol;           ****
      Extremely strong and long ranged, but limited ammunitions. If you run out
       of ammo, throw this away immediately, as it is a useless melee weapon.

     Revolver;             ****
      A little less accurate, and slower, but stronger than the .45. Again, if
       it runs out of ammo, get rid of it and find something useful.

     Pump Shotgun;         *****
      Extremely strong weapon, but it's limited by ammo supply. Conserve shots,
       and throw it away when you've used all of them.

     Sawed-Off Shotgun;    ****
      The shots spread very quickly with this weapon, so try shooting at as
       close range as possible, for maximum damage. It can only carry two
       shots max, so be careful once it runs out.

     Submachine Gun;       ****
      This weapon usually has quite a bit of ammo if you can find it. Be
       careful when you shoot this, as well, as for every squeeze of the
       trigger, three rounds are shot. It's a bit innacurate, but it can
       get you out of many-man situations.

     Rifle;                *****
      This weapon fires ultra-accurate shots, with extremely high damage. You
       can use this safely from far away with it's extreme accuracy, just make
       sure to make every round count.
