"Did you choose to finish the fight?"

We have been waiting for the epic finale of the Halo franchise. It's been hyped to the tenth degree, and it certainly delivers. Finally, the Halo crazed fans will be silenced as this outstanding game comes into view. Let's start, shall we?

Story: Of course, the story is great, in comparison to other shooters. Of course, it's story can't compare to other games in different genres, but it is definitely one of the best in the shooters. As you know, Master chief is defending the earth from the covenant and brutes. At this time, he is also searching for his best friend, Cortana. This is all I can say about the story, because anymore would give out spoilers.

Controls: Now, the controls for this game have a slight learning curve, but anybody could learn to play this game even in the slightest amount of skill. You may change the stick sensitivity in the options to suit your needs. The xbox 360 controller seems to be made for this game, for the gameplay experience is wonderful for it's controller.

Graphics: Now, you may be turned away from this game's way of presenting itself. But keep in mind that this game is gigantic, and it definitely takes a toll on the graphics department. The main flaw in the graphics are the "jagged edges." They utterly litter the screen, especially when you view areas that are far off in the distance and have a lot of commotion occuring. Though this is a major downfall, let me tell you, the textures are simply amazing. All of the marines look great, the vehicles drive with consistency, and the explosions are enormous.

Gameplay: Alright, so we all know the beef of Halo is the gameplay. You can approach your enemies in numerous ways; sniper, assault rifle, and melee are only a few of the ways you can kick ass. The different ways are endless. YOu may take weapons from allies as you wish, and you may kill allies, if you are twisted in some sadistic way.

The new Forge mode is great fun, especially with good friends. Basically, you can edit the maps in real-time. This allows for you to edit the map WHILE you and your friends are blowing crap up. Eventually, if you have the time to make a map, you can save it and upload it up to Bungie.net.

The theater mode allows you to watch replays as if you were Steven Spielberg. You may detach the camera and move around, watching the enormous battles that occur in multiplayer. This is extremely helpful if you wish to learn tips from fellow pwning allies, or opposing pwnsome enemies. Now, don't think you are only limited to watching replays of multiplayer, no, you can even watch replays from campaign. Watching yourself litterally own on easy mode, or GET owned in legendary is great fun.

Summary:

Story- 7/10
Controls- 9/10
graphics- 8/10
Gameplay- 10/10

Overall: 9/10
