The 1985 teddy was actually no problem for me, I got it on my 2nd attempt. Like stated before dont pick up any multipliers what so ever. Just look at how many points you get for each certain kill (hobbes= certain points, guards= certain points etc..) dont worry about using your gun, stick to melee combat. As soon as the bandits begin to come out I focused on them because they were worth more points. Remember keep an eye on your score, you want it to be an even number when your attacking the bandits, ex: 1500 not 1543. When you have an even number that is fairly close to 1985, flourish attack everyone. Flourishes are always evenly distributed in points and its usually and instant kill if your strong enough. now there was two sets of bandits, the small ones and the guys who have like that wooden arm post on their shoulders. the bandits with the wooden things on their shoulders are worth more points because they are stronger. my score was at 1960 and i ran around and saw one of the wooden bandit dudes and flourished him, bam 1985 done. the bear is awarded instantly you just have to pick him up off of his little altar by one of the doors. i picked him up immediately i didnt attack anymore enemies because i wasnt sure if it would mess it up so i recommend picking him up as soon as you are rewarded.
extra tip: use the time slow spell often, it helps a lot when you need to pick out certain enemies for certain points

The Captian Bear is the hardest of the group. You need to score exactly 1985 in Colosseum points to unlock him. The easiest way to do this is to make sure you do not pick up any multiplier flits or kick any chickens. Kill all enemies until you reach the point where only bandits are spawning. Now kill all non-bandits, and save your game.If you happen to mess up you can quit without saving, reload, and start again. Start fighting the bandits and when you manage to get an 85 as your last two digits stop killing them and take a step back.
Now the strategy comes in. The large bandits are worth 30 points each, the medium size ones are 25. Avoid hitting the easiest bandits as they will mess up your score . Now just simply pick off these bandits until you hit the magic number, remembering to kill them in multiples of 100(4x25= 100/30x5+25x2=200). You can also use the multiplier flit now and double all these values, as well as use the chicken kick for a 100 or 200( if using one flit multiplier) point boost. A great tip is to also use your slow time spell so you can take your time and aim carefully. Once you hit 1985 you will see a message come up saying you unlocked the bear. After this you can kill as many other creatures as you like, it will not effect you getting it. After the battle is over pick the bear up on the dais(stand) that was empty before. It is directly across from the one with the telescope on it. Upon picking up the bear you receive your last dye,and the AAA Teddy.
Extra tip: have someone play with you and have them slow the time for you the whole time... your enemies will slow down and even your time
