How do I "quit" out of Co-Op?

I connected my controller and pressed Start to join in on my wife's game and I can't figure out how to Exit out of/quit out of it without her having to Save and Quit then turning off my controller to remove my character from the game.

Yeah, sorry about that. Thanks for the responses, I was trying to press Start during a scene in Childhood when I had joined in. This was before I realized that I couldn't access the menu while someone is running their mouth in the game.

Press start on the henchman's controller, and select "quit"
