Two profiles on the same xbox in co-op?

Can you use two profiles on the same xbox for co-op?
If so,can you trade your items on co-op?

Yes, you can use two different profiles for co-op, but one will be the hero, while the other will be a henchman.
And no, you cannot trade items between the two on the same XBox.
