Archaeology final?

It mentions a cave that you can nearly see water through the walls. Where is that?

It is in Reaver's Rear passage. You come to this area near the end of the game.

What if you finished the game, and you're going through the rest of the quest's can you complete the Archaeology final at Reaver passage, after you completed the game?
