Random Voice?

I have noticed durring the game that I hear a random voice whether im in a thomb a cave or even in a town. And the voice is alwaise makeing fun of me and mocking me. Im just curious to who or what that is and if there is a way to SHUT IT UP.

Those voices are the gargoyles, look around for their little glowing eyes and shot em down, it's part of a mini quest to earn extra treasure.
