Why dosen't my xbox play music from my iPod touch?

It seems that my ipod isn't compatable with my touch is this possible

The iPod touch isn't supported I'm afraid and there is no way to make it work until Microsoft and Apple release an update for both the Xbox 360 and the iPod which is unlikely to happen I'm afraid.

Theres no need to get upset, just burn your music to a CD and play it that way.
