The older Xbox 360 consoles and some Arcade consoles do not have HDMI inputs, although most newer consoles manufactured after in 2007 an after should have HDMI ports. All elite consoles have HDMI inputs. If you have a console with no HDMI port then you can use a component cable to connect your console to a high definition tv.
The HDMI port should be located under the AV cable slot if the console is lying down, to the right of the serial number and manufacturing date label.
