Saints Row Tagging Guide ver. 1.02 Version History ver. 1.0- April 4, 2007 first attempt ver. 1.01- May 5, 2007 updated description for trickier tags explained more "about me" ver. 1.02- June 12, 2007 Big glitch update This guide is designed to help those intending to find all the tagging locations in Saints Row for xbox360 and unlock the bonuses and achievements associated. This guide does contain terms and descriptions that may be considered "spoilers" for some. These spoilers typically won't give away any secrets that couldn't have been assumed by an experienced gamer, such as what locations will become "cribs" or story based missions. Rather than fill the entire guide with big announcements of "possible spoiler alerts" I'm warning you now that if this may ruin your enjoyment of this game don't read on. This guide uses markers which may move depending on how much of an activity you've completed, such as races and drug trafficking. If you've started these activities but not yet completed them, these markers might be useless to you until you finish them to get the marker back to it's original point from the start of the game. Ok, I've gotten two kinds of emails since creating this guide, ones thanking me for making it and ones asking about this exact tag. It stands to reason since this is the only tag the programmers bothered to hide. Almost all the others are either in plain sight or in locations you should end up while doing other tasks anyhow. Now for the more elaborate description: A few of you (including fancy man 02) have told me this one is technically northeast of the middle pier not northwest, depending on which point of the pier you are using as a start either or neither could be true so let's just call it north. Next, I was using the pier because it was a highly visible point on the map but the fastest, easiest start point for this is the horizontal road that forms the north border of this zone. The road has a short wall on its south side. Over this wall (or through its gaps) to the south is a narrow grass alley that runs along the back side of several factories and warehouses. These buildings are connected by fences and walls that essentially make them one long building from the east end of the road to the tag in question. Either enter this alley from the east or walk/ride along the road in a way that allows you to see most of the alley. The tag itself is very close to where the alley runs into a fence making it impossible to approach from the west. If you come at it from the east it will be on the wall to your right/north. If you drop down from the road it will be on the wall directly behind you, there's a tree nearby that may make it easier to see where to drop in from. If you're still having trouble or have a better/shorter way of describing this email me. Barrio District: Cecil Park- From Insurance Fraud it's due south on the inside corner of where the block forms an 'L' behind some trees and a short wall. Cecil Park- From Scratch That it's to the south, from Rim Jobs it's to the northwest in an alley between vinos y licores and taqueria el jarocho just off the main road in this zone. Cecil Park- From Image as Designed it's due south in the northeast corner of an alcove on the east side of the main road in this zone, by an underground bay door. Ezpata- From Sloppy Seconds it's just to the east, on the west wall of the building just south of the used car dealer. Southern Cross- From Do it Up it's due south on the northeast corner of the parking garage on the second floor, in the southeast corner of the zone. Chinatown District: Chinatown- From On Thin Ice it's up the stairs on the northeast side of the building in the southeast corner. Chinatown- From Chop Shop it's on the northeast side wall of the building Chinatown- From Chop Shop it's to the west, in the northwest corner of the zone, on the east side of the northwest building in the lot with many semi trailers just south of where the raised highway merges together. Chinatown- From Barrio transit depot it's due west in the middle alley of the square chinese looking building between the two round ones. Apartments District: Sommerset- From Friendly Fire it's on the northwest wall of the building. Sommerset- From Scratch That it's to the southeast, between second and third floor of northeast grey apartment apartment building. Sommerset- From Scratch That it's to the southwest on the wall to the east of the very bottom of the aquaduct along the shoreline. Sommerset- From Do it Up it's just to the west along the shoreline on the wall. ...that should be all 75, you should now have unlimited stamina, yayyy! If you cover over a tag belonging to a rival gang still in existence you will get a wanted level from them, so be mindful of that if their members are nearby. Bugs: I never experienced this personally, but fastcarboy brought it to my attention and a few others have confirmed its existence since I started asking about it. Sometimes when you stand at the spray can and press Y the game will do all the usual sounds and animations of tagging except put the button combination needed to complete the tag on the screen. But in typical game glitch fashion reloading a save and trying again seems to solve the matter most, if not all, times. Update! Quite a few contributors, including mkii.supra, hadies911, and pcsdad41, were quick to point out that if you suffer this no button combo displaying on screen glitch you can simply press the A button repeatedly until the tag is complete. XMajor25Cent also claims the update patch currently forced on you by xbox live as you insert the Saints Row game disc fixes this glitch, and since I got the patch the first time I put the game in and never saw this glitch I'd tend to assume that's a correct assessment. So on the flipside if you want a shot at tags that you can just press A button for instead of the not too hard, not too easy button combinations the game gives hopefully you read this and unplugged your ethernet cable before putting the game in. About me: It's worth noting that I don't believe in paying 60 dollars for a video game. In fact I wouldn't pay more than 30 for anything shy of the absolute undeniable game of the decade. I rent instead of buying and the copy of saints row I was playing while making this guide now sits on the shelf of a video store. Any and all help I can give you will be from memory and I can't join you on live for co-op missions or play the single player simultaneously with you to aid in directions by being able to tell the colors and/or signs on the buildings. Contact Info: I made this guide in hopes that it may help others with this rather time consuming activity. If it isn't helping anyone then I wasted a lot of time and energy finding these tags and making this guide, though maybe not the finding part since unlimited stamina can be a real life saver in this game, literally. Some of these were far harder to explain than others and therefore will likely be far harder to understand. If you have any questions about my wording feel free to email me and ask them. If you think you have a better way to describe a location that may benefit others send it to me. Those and any other questions or comments about this guide you feel are important can be sent to: email: johnnybling at bellsouth dot net Copyrights: saints row belongs to thq and volition this guide belongs to me and should only appear on: gamefaqs.com supercheats.com neoseeker.com ..if found anywhere else please contact me so that I can take proper action.
