THIS IS A FAQ, IT IS RIFE WITH SPOILERS FROM THE START - YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD!

This FAQ is specifically for players who want to get the Saint and
Transmissionary Achievements. This to me feels like the "true" way to complete
the game, as it means you playing all the cases, get all the scoops and rescue
all the survivors, and get the best, 'true', ending; Ending A.

By way of going for these achievements, you can also net other Achievements,
such as Perfect Gunner Achievements and the Photography achievements.
These will also be covered in the FAQ, during the main walk-through where
applicable, and separately otherwise (see table of contents).

There is no information here on the location of general items,
a comprehensive Mall lay-out, or Frank's abilities and general game play
mechanics, it is assumed that the player is familiar with these already,
if not, there are many great complete FAQs on GameFAQs already for that
(none of which currently go through the Saint and Transmissionary Achievements
together though, hence the creation of this here FAQ!)

I'm suggesting that this FAQ isn't for those who are completely new to
Dead Rising (what are you using a FAQ for any way? Enjoy the game!)
You should know the Mall layout pretty well, and have probably already played
the game a fair bit, but haven't got some of those big achievements yet that
require a thorough play through. If you come to this FAQ and the game totally
fresh, you will find a complete walk-through of the game, but it is geared
towards players who have Frank at a high level (preferably level 50).

Having the Mega-Buster weapon will also help immensely in your time
management because it's extremely powerful and takes down even the
Psychopaths in a couple of shots. See below on how to get this awesome weapon.


A final note for nit-pickers:
I'm from the UK, so a few terms I use might be new to some people outside
the UK. I will use words like 'lift' instead of elevator, and colloquialisms
like 'Tannoy' for public-adress system, and most confusingly of all for you
Americans, here we call the 2nd floor of a building, the 1st Floor, and what
you call the 1st floor, we call the Ground Floor. Since the Willamette Mall
has 2 floors, that's how they will be referred to in this FAQ.

                          > Ending A, or Ending B? <
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ending A is the true ending, it should be what you are aiming to achieve.

In order to get Ending A AND the Saint Achievement, you need to complete
Overtime Mode on the same play through, because Ending A net's you only
49 survivors (Brad, Jessie and Dr. Barnaby all die), and you won't get the
achievement until Frank and Isabela are 'safe', meaning you have to play
through Overtime Mode too, after finishing 72 Hour Mode. Going straight to
Overtime Mode if you've already unlocked it won't cut it, since the game only
allows one save, it needs to be played after you've saved all the survivors
possible in 72 Hour Mode. Thus netting you 51 survivors when the game ends.

If you just want the Saint Achievement, you can get this by getting Ending B,
which you can achieve simply by following the FAQ until the 'Last Resort'
case and letting the timer go down on that case. The game will continue,
all the survivor requests and scoops continue, but that's where the main
story will end.

                  > Zombie Genocider Achievement Play-Through <

This requires you to have killed 53,594 zombies (which happens to be the total
population of the town Willamette itself- clever huh!).

The reward for this achievement is the Mega-Buster weapon (one of several nods
to Mega-Man throughout the game - if you didn't already know, DR's creator,
Keiji Inafune, is also the guy behind the Mega-Man series).

This weapon is a lot of fun, but it's main use is with the Psycho's.
It gives strength, speed and distance, and most of the Psycho's will take only
3 or 4 shots max to kill, which will save you valuable time.

Whilst you might think Infinite Mode is the way to go for this Achievement,
remember your health depletes in that mode, you have more than enough time in
72 Hour Mode to net 53,594 kills using the maintenance tunnels.

The simplest way to do this is in 72 Hour Mode, just forget all the cases and
scoops and head straight for the maintenance tunnels. This will take between
3 and 4 hours in real-time, so I suggest taking regular breaks
every 20-30 mins, it will fly by I promise!


SIMPLE METHOD
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Travel to the parking lot, and get in the Red sports car, drive into the
tunnels, take a left and drive along to the end, and reverse up and down this
stretch a couple of times until the car craps out - timing it so you end up at
the dead end when it does, so Frank doesn't have to walk back to where the
white Lorry is parked.

Get in the Lorry and drive it down to the white sports car (it's located at
the Paradise Plaza entrance on the map. Hop in, and drive this car back to the
main exit and car park, hop in the Red sports car, back into the maintenance
tunnels and do the whole thing again.

You should net about 800-1200 kills EACH round trip, to maximum this, try and
drive through dense spots of Zombies and through as many gas canister-pushing
Zombies as possible - the explosion will take out even more of the suckers!
But, remember it also damages the car, so keep an eye on the condition of the
car so you're not stranded away from your next ride.

Once you have netted 53,594 kills, head back to the Helicopter Pad and
simply wait out the rest of your time. If you have any other smaller
achievements to get, such as Karate Champ, now is a good time to get them too.

When the game ends, save, and you get a message saying the Mega-Buster is now
available in the Security Room  :)


THE MEGA-BUSTER

Once you have it, you may only carry one a time, but it does have a 300 shots
and an insane range, so should last a while. Any time you're running low on
charges and you hit the Security Room, simply drop the Mega-Buster outside
the air duct, and when you go through, a fresh one will be awaiting you.

   Since getting the Mega-Buster requires a fresh play-through of the game
   *just* to get the weapon, it's productive to also use this play-through
   to get some of the other achievements. 

   You can get these once you've netted the 53,594 kills it takes for the
   Mega-Buster achievement, you should have a fair bit of time left in
   72 Hour Mode before the chopper comes and you can save the game
   (mandatory for getting the actual weapon, you can't just kill 53,594
   zombies and turn off the game).

   Since it's likely you've played through the game before, some of these
   you should have already obtained in previous play-throughs.

1. In the helicopter. This is a good chance to get some nice PP bonus points,
   there are several opportunities here: The person getting dragged off the
   car, the school bus, the explosion at the petrol station, and the woman
   falling off the roof. Take a few snaps, but save at least a dozen snaps on
   your role of film (30 shots), you'll need them in a moment.


2. Snap a picture of Carlito and enter the door into Security Room and examine
   the desk and monitors in the main room.

3. Head out through the door to the side of the desk, then through the next

1. Head out into Paradise Plaza and go to the bookstore directly across from 
   the Warehouse entrance and pick up the photo magazine, it will come in handy
   for spotting Queen-infested Zombies from a far (they show up with a green
   sticker, or can be spotted without the book as if they are doing a kind of
   dance, or trying to waft a fly from buzzing around their heads). Also grab
   a skateboard from the first floor of the sports store across from
   Columbian Roastmaster, and the two cop's guns by the Leisure Park doors.

2. Before anything, we're gonna get the maintenance key, which will unlock all
   the doors through the mall to the maintenance tunnels (useful shortcuts
   sometimes). So skateboard across the Leisure Park to the Maintenance
   Tunnels Entrance Car Park, get in the red sports car and drive inside.

3. Take the first right, then left then right again, through the door at the
   end, grab the maintenance key from the floor at the back of the room, and
   drive back the way you came (left, right, left) to the car park. The red
   sports car has now re-spawned, so get in the new one and drive to the
   Food Court Entrance, using the car to clear the door of Zombies.

   Head up the escalators and round the left side of the mall into
   'In The Closet' store, in the back of the store, behind a stack of boxes
   is your first proper Mall Survivor, Bill. Talk to him, snap his photo and
   once he has joined you, head out the way you came in, through Al Fresca,
   and into the Food Court - give Bill a gun if you wish to help you through
   Al Fresca, which is always heaving with the undead.

3. Talk to Kent and he offers a challenge, which is essential to both the
   Saint and Transmissionary Achievements: Take 2 pictures of Kent, each has
   to net a certain number of PP (500, 700 respectively)

   the Hardware Store (first shop on the left). Take down the items blocking
   the doorway of the next store along and enter the Shoe Shop to find the
   two Survivors.

   Burt, The guy near the middle of the store with the baseball bat, is
   hostile initially, so with NO weapon equipped, give him a couple of kicks
   or punches to calm him down, when Burt and Aaron have both joined, snap 
   their photos and use the food at the back of the store if you need it.

   Make a way point at the back of the store so these two don't follow you,
   then head across to the Jewellery Store to deal with Leah, she is injured,
   so snap her photo, talk to her and when she has joined and hopped over the
   store counter, carry her across to your other survivors, then back take them
   all back through the Food Court.

8. If it's before 6PM, the convicts will not yet have spawned in the Leisure
   Park, but it's unlikely you would make it back to Paradise Plaza without
   that happening, so hang around in the Food Court for a moment, once it turns
   6PM, step out into the Leisure Park. (This prevents you losing any
   way-points you have set for your survivors, as cut-scenes always remove
   any way-points you have).

1. The convicts shouldn't be anywhere near you if you stick to the wall on the
   way to Paradise Plaza. Make frequent way points for your motley crew, when
   you reach the very far corner before the wall of Paradise Plaza, make a way
   point and leave your survivors to rescue Sophie.

   Sophie should be running around the near the pond, talk to her and when she
   joins, she will run off to the way-point where your other survivors are. 

   (if you're doing this in a timely fashion, it should not yet be 7pm, so you
   may also have a chance of missing the 7PM Night Zombie Cut-scene, but most
   likely will get it, which again will negate any way points you have made,
   bare that in mind, not to stray too far for too long from your survivors). 

2. If you have problems with the Convicts, run around some trees and they
   will get stuck between them making them a sitting duck for you.

   If you're at a high enough level and you have a decent weapon like the
   semi-machine gun or the Mega-Buster, you can snap a shot of the convicts,
   then kill them, otherwise avoid them and take Sophie back to your gang and
   head into Paradise Plaza and back into the Warehouse.

3. You are in the middle of the Warehouse, but your survivors are back at the
   door to the Paradise Plaza, so make a way point here and go back to get the
   injured Mother, there should also be a Queen-infested zombie here, kill it
   for a Queen, get them all back to the lift, and another zombie with a Queen
   (they come in handy, so always, always, ALWAYS grab Queens when you see a
   zombie infested with one - they save so much time when clearing areas for
   survivor transporting).

4. Now on the roof, snap a photo of your gang if you haven't taken them before,
   and take them back to the Security Room, and head into the Security Office.

7. Head out the bookstore and along to the Space Ride, passing some zombie

   sports shop or something out of the way, and go to the Ride's control
   panel, examine.

   The three books we recently picked up (Entertainment, Engineering and
   Criminology) will lengthen the life of Adam's mini-chainsaw's which are
   undoubtedly the most useful, and now durable, weapons in the game, each book
   lengthens the life of them by 3 times (3 x 3 x 3 = they last 27 times longer
   than without the books!) -- You may actually never need to get a fresh
   chainsaw, but whenever you're passing the Space Ride, it's a good idea to
   take a couple of seconds to pick up a fresh one.

4. Follow Greg to the toilets and you can now use the shortcut back to
   Paradise Plaza. (You may need to use the short-cut, and back again before
   Greg joins you).

5. Give Greg a gun if you like, and take your party of 3 into the North Plaza

   or your crew of survivors (remembering to give them back their guns after
   they drop them for the food).

   David needs carrying, so be aware of where your other survivors, and not
   to get too far in front. Take all 4 survivors back into Wonderland Plaza,
   to Paradise Plaza by way of the new shortcut in the toilets Greg showed you,
   and through the Warehouse into the Security Room.

7. Now leave the Security Room, into the Warehouse and wait here until Otis
   calls you that Jessie wants to see you.

  You may have 4 or even 5 in-game hours to wait if you are doing well on
  time, so if you have any smaller achievements to get, or you want to go
  stock up on guns or food, or even just go zombie killing, this is the time
  to do it, just be back in the Warehouse at the lift or the door above at 6AM
  to get back to the Security Room. Often, I'll go and grab a couple of guns
  from the cops at the doors to the Leisure Park, the semi-machine gun
  (abbr. 'SMG') or a skateboard).


  Regarding achievements: Remember some like the Karate Champ are cumulative,
  so you can spend a couple of hours killing zombies for this achievement now,
  and pick up later on when you have some free time again.

   the doors of the storage room, as sometimes one of these three cowards
   might get stuck behind one of them (Grrrrrrrr!).

3. Head back out through the Leisure park to Paradise Plaza, when you get
   closer to the Warehouse entrance, you should find two twin sisters in
   need of help near the toy store on the ground floor.

   One is outside in the shallow stream literally swarmed in Zombies, whilst
   the other is safely (for now) inside the store (some sister huh?!) The best
   (only?) way to get the girl out is by using a Queen on the gang of zombies.
   If you make a way point on the opposite side of the mall near the Jewellery
   Store or Camera Shop, the girl who was swarmed in Zombies should hop up and
   join your other 3 survivors whilst you talk to her sister inside the toy
   store, who, when she also joins your party, will most likely run the long
   way (not through the smashed window), so go with her, but be ready as her
   sister will come to meet her, so clear the way of Zombies for them to meet
   and head back with you to the Warehouse entrance, then onto the
   Security Room - Snap a group photo on the roof if you don't have them
   all done already.

   here just clear a big swarm of zombies, if you have one, use it.

3. At the Hardware store, you will find Gordon cowering behind the counter at
   the back. Talk to him and if he doesn't co-operate, give him a swift kick

4. The quickest way back is the way we came, but more than likely the Cult
   members will now be in Paradise Plaza, meaning after the cut scene, you will
   at one end of the Plaza and Ronald & The Coward at the other, and today is
   VERY busy shopping day with the undead (maybe there's a sale on rotting
   flesh or something).

   So instead, head back to Paradise Plaza by way of the Food Court and 
   Leisure Park.

   Whilst you're in the Food Court, I would also pick up a bottle of wine here,
   as if you have the space to carry it for a while, it will save you going
   back for one later for a scoop.

   The Convicts will most likely have re-spawned in the Leisure Park, so if
   they are on your side of the park, take them out again, otherwise run for
   it back to Paradise Plaza!

5. When you enter Paradise Plaza, you will most likely come face to face with
   the Cult Members!

1. Again, snap her photo before the action starts. Get a nice PP bonus for
   getting the shot, just as she zaps the girl with her stun-gun! Ouch!

2. You know the drill for psychos - Chainsaw or Mega-Buster, anything else
   is sadism and wastes time.

NB: Now if you've played this game through a couple of times, you might
    have fought Jo before and she had less than 4 girls captive, that's
    because you might have entered Wonderland Plaza  whilst the scoop was
    active, but thinking the time-bar was still blue, you had plenty of time to
    get back and do it after something more pressing. The problem is, once you
    enter an area of the mall, the scoop becomes active, and so if you left
    that part to go somewhere else, it would be like leaving survivors in
    another zone of the mall.... time would continue to tick!

    So once you get the call from Otis re: 'Above The Law', DO NOT enter
    Wonderland Plaza, until you are ready to go fight Jo.

3. Untie all 4 girls, head out of the store and down the stairs, you should now
   see, or hear, a couple hanging from the large bunny statue here, with a
   swarm of Zombies around them! Eeep!
   
   Make a safe way-point at the foot of the stairs for the 4 girls (I 
   suggest near the box behind the stairs, which also contains a gun you can
   give to a survivor.

4. Take a photo of each of Nick and Sally hanging from the bunny for a big
   PP bonus. To save them, the quickest way is to use a queen directly below
   them (or even throw a Queen AT each of them, since you need to knock them
   down with something any way) - This will clear most of the zombies from
   below their feet.

   Once you chat with them and they have joined your gang, you could give
   Nick a gun as it might come in handy, as the next part, delivering your
   now 6-strong party back to the Security Room.

5. Take your crew back to the toilets, and through Paradise Plaza, and back
   to the Security Room.

  This is another tricky delivery as most likely they will all be pushing and
  shoving to get up the ledge, so make a way point on the ledge and hold one
  of the girls hands to move them from the crowd, do this as many times as
  needed till they are all on the ledge.

6. Now head back to Wonderland Plaza, and go this way to the North Plaza,
   to Seon's Food Market.

1. The 3 gun-happy snipers are your first concern here, head up the escalator,
   and these guys are pretty easy up close, but if you have the mega-blaster,
   you can also stay back and blast them to pieces. As usual, take your photo
   early on, and you will get them all together in one photo.

2. When the snipers are disposed of, first head down to the ground floor to the
   children's clothes store to find a girl who is mourning the lose of her
   friend, or so she thinks, head out the shop and she will call you back,
   and join you.

3. Head upstairs and at the top of the escalators, cowering in the make-up
   store is Wayne, the guy who the snipers were taking pot-shots at.
   Get him to join and head around the first floor to the Women's clothes
   store where Jolie's friend, Rachel is.

4. A quick re-union for the two friends (a photo of their hug nets you
   a nice big PP bonus).

5. Now take all 3 survivors just across the way to the Antique store you find
   Floyd. (After a rather lengthy discussion), the old coot decided to tag
   along, although he will need to be carried, so give Wayne a gun at least,
   although it's only a short trip back down the escalators and into
   Paradise Plaza, and across to the Warehouse up to the Security Room.

6. By now Otis should've called you about that greedy, ungrateful fuck Ronald.

   He's making a stink and threatening to leave if he doesn't get some more
   food, so make sure when you head back to the Security Room with this bunch
   of survivors, you have any item of food to shut his fat mouth up!
   (There's a snack at the foot of the escalators here in the Entrance Plaza,
   and also one in the Kid's Clothes Store where you found Jolie).

7. You may have several hours to wait now until Midnight, when Otis will call
   you about your planned meeting with Isabela in North Plaza, so do whatever
   as please until then, but be ready in the at the Leisure Park, entrance to
   the North Plaza, at bang-on Midnight for Otis to call regarding your
   midnight tête à tête with Isabela. Once he calls, head inside.

   them all, just get through as quickly as possible and into theatre #4.

   Remember that bottle of wine I said to save earlier? Well at 2AM, Otis calls
   about Floyd, the old git from the Antiques Store, wants you to bring him
   some wine, so let's deal with the Cinema scoop first and on the way back,
   he can get sloshed on the wine you bring.

2. Untie the 4 survivors around the theatre, and pick up the 'Brainwashing'
   book near Steven's body. I have no idea if it works or not, but I grab it
   any way. I think it's supposed to help with transporting multiple survivors.

   Be aware of the last of the Cult Members at the door ready to take revenge
   on you for slaughtering their beloved leader. Be careful not to hang
   around near them as their noxious powder will result in Frank falling
   unconscious and being stripped naked and kidnapped! As much fun as that
   sounds, this means certain death for your survivors. 

3. Open the door at the bottom left of the theatre to find Steven's final
   captive victim, Cheryl, and head back with your 5 survivors to the
   Security Room, making sure not to go on the roof until Otis has called to
   tell you Isabella is awake (3AM).

1. Drop off the wine to that old drunk, Floyd, then head back out into the
   Mall, before doing so, snap a picture of the outside of the air-duct,
   you will need it in a moment.

2. We're going to the Gun Shack in North Plaza now, through the Leisure Park.

3. Once you're at the Gun Store, there are 3 survivors inside, they will fire
   at you as you enter the store, so don't go too far inside, otherwise it
   might be difficult to get back out. If you do get caught between their
   cross-fire, use the double-tap quick dive move Frank has to get out of the
   shop. They will then stop firing and the leader of the trio, Brett, will
   come out and chat.

   He wants a picture of the Security Room air-duct as proof that you're not
   shittin' them. So, give him the snap we just took (Remember, photos from
   previous play-throughs don't work, so it has to be taken when you started
   this play-through in 72 Hour Mode).

4. Take these three back to the Security Room by way of the Leisure Park,
   even if the convicts have respawned again, they shouldn't get to your side
   of the Park before you reach Paradise Plaza.

5. After dropping off the Gun Shack survivors, head back out of the
   Security Room, we're going to Wonderland Plaza to meet with Paul, the
   long-haired nerd. Take the route of the Leisure Park and across to the
   Food Court, the long way round yes, but here you will find Gil, my favourite
   survivor, the guy's done the right thing in a crisis and hit the bottle!

   Watch for him to make a pose similar to Kent's 'win pose' and take a photo
   for a nice PP bonus shot. He won't join you at first, but make out as if
   you're leaving the area he's in, and he will call you back. He's so
   rat-arsed, he needs your help standing, so offer him a shoulder and take him
   into Wonderland Plaza.

NB: If you don't go this route and use the toilet shortcut to
    Wonderland Plaza, Gil may not be there once you have defeated Paul, and if
    you go this way and get Gil, then come back to Paul, the two women he had
    held up, may not have survived his harassment. See, this is why we go
    through the Leisure Park, there is a method to the madness!


6. Head up to the Ladies shoe store, ground floor on the left.

2. The silly bugger's set himself alight with his Molotov cocktail! Quick,

   front of him and use it, making sure his crotch turns white, then you know
   you are aiming correctly.

   When you've put out the fire in his loins, talk to him, he turn from a
   psycho to a survivor, and rescue the two women in the closet,  
   snap their photos too.

3. Take all 4 back to the Security Room via the shortcut in the toilets.

4. At 8AM Otis calls regarding a sick man in Wonderland Plaza, so head out
   there through the toilets.

   On your way down to the cosmetics shop where Leroy is, you see Susan,
   an elderly lady on top of one of the giant football halves in the
   play-area, with Zombies completely swarming around.

   So, throw a queen at them, climb and talk to Susan. She is elderly, and
   holding her hand is the quickest and safest way to get her from A to B.

5. Head over to the nearby cosmetics store and talk to the sick guy, and
   take them both back to the toilets, and onto the Security Room.

6. Now you have until 11PM when Otis calls to do whatever you want, that's
   not too long, so either stick around the Warehouse, or head into
   Paradise Plaza and stock up on a few things if you like.

   (I tend to get some O.J. to replenish my health, grab a fresh skateboard,
   and if I see a Queen-infested Zombie, grab that too).

   At 10:30AM, Carlito gives a call to Isabela over the Tannoy, and this is
   your cue to get back to the Warehouse ready for Otis to call if you're not
   already there, and head back to the Security Room after Otis calls at 11PM.

   reminding you of the importance of collecting the bombs (Well, d'uh!).

   Go into Paradise Plaza and hang around Columbian Roasters until Noon, when
   Kent shows up, it's after 11AM now, so it shouldn't take too long. Otis
   doesn't call about this, so you have to be IN Paradise Plaza AT NOON,
   not on your way there, otherwise Tad will be dead, and you will take his
   place in Kent's deranged scheme!

3. So, step back into Paradise Plaza, and head on over to the CD Store, which
   is across from the Toy Store with the giant Servbot. Inside is Simone, she's
   been bitten and fears the worst, but talk to her and Frank manages to
   re-assure her that Isabela, as a medical technician and all round 
   zombie-know-it-all, can help. Take her and Tad back to the Security Room.

4. When you get back to the Security Room, go talk to Kendell, he's brought it
   upon himself to create a mutiny in his room, the ungrateful fuck! You
   manage to placate his mutiny until the helicopter arrives (I'd leave him
   stranded on the helipad as punishment!)

5. OK, enough dilly-dallying with ingrates, time to find those bombs Carlito
   has planted in the Maintenance Tunnels, head out the Security Room and into
   Paradise Plaza, grab a skateboard if you don't already have one, and go
   through the Maintenance Tunnel Entrance in Paradise Plaza (just past the
   toilets) - See, the Maintenance Key does actually come in handy!

6. Once down the stairs and into the tunnels, you will see the first white van,
   open it up and take out the bomb. Then run across to the white sports car,
   which is more durable than the red sports car in the parking lot, hop in,
    and follow the markers for the bombs on the map.

   They are all in the back of similar white vans parked throughout
   the tunnels, open each van and collect the bomb.

1. On about the 2nd bomb, Carlito should show up in a van, he will try to run
   you over and throw grenades at you. The easiest way to defeat him is
   close-up at the driver's side door with the chainsaw, or from afar with
   the mega-blaster (you can shoot him through the windscreen).
   Either way if you don't kill him, after a few hits he will drive off.

   If you managed to defeat Carlito this first time he shows up, you will get
   the cut-scene, after which, you will be back not too far from the
   Paradise Plaza Entrance we came in, so skateboard back there to pick up the
   re-spawned white car, and get the rest of the bombs.

   If you didn't finish off Carlito this first time he arrives, the your
   white car should still be good by the 4th bomb which is under
   Wonderland Plaza, but might not carry you on much further, so head out of
   the tunnels through the door, into Wonderland Plaza, then into the
   Food Couet, out into the Leisure Park and round to the parking lot where
   the bike and red car are (a skateboard comes in handy here). So get on the
   bike as there are roadblocks at the bottom of the tunnels, and head inside.

   Take the left and go to the end where the Meat Packing area is for the
   final bomb. Carlito will show up again if you didn't finish him off before,
   so watch for that. If you finish him off here, after the cut-scene, you will
   still go back to the same point in the tunnel, so use the white car to get
   back to the Meat Packing Area.

   To see just how grim, now you're back outside, hop in a vehicle and head
   back inside the tunnels and drive towards the room where you picked up the
   maintenance key (right, left, right from the parking lot entrance).

   now you have until 5PM to do anything you want, it's not long, so I'd stock

   Jill's Sandwiches, it will come in handy for a scoop shortly.
   
   When you're ready head back to the Warehouse and wait for 5PM - Otis will
   call TWICE, once about Jessie and once about Paul, so wait for both calls
   before heading to the Security Room.

1. After the cut-scene head into the room Paul is in and talk to him, he will
   give you a nice little present that might come in handy, although it's a
   kinda too little too late at this point.

2. Head out of the Security Room and talk to Isabela, she is going to show you
   where Carlito's hide-out is. Go down the lift, through the Warehouse,
   Paradise Plaza, the Leisure Park (thankfully the Convicts are finally gone),
   into North Plaza, and down the alley towards the gun store.
   Head towards Isabela for the next cut-scene.

   Around this time, Otis will call regarding Simone who wants a handgun 
   (not for anything sinister), so if you didn't get one before, make sure you
   have a handgun by the time you arrive back at the Security Room.

   So, head out into the Leisure Park and the Maintenance Tunnel parking lot
   (or you can use the door near the Paradise Plaza toilets and drive the white
   sports car to get to the same destination). Once inside, take the left and
   up towards the Meat Packing Area, and inside the door.

2. Head back out into the tunnels, and using the driveable white van, ride back
   out of the tunnels, and towards Paradise Plaza, then head inside and

   This is your only chance to fulfil Cheryl's request. It doesn't take long,
   just 3 shots of her posing, and you have until 10PM when Isabela calls you
   about the password (giving you until 11PM to get back to Carlito's hideout).
   You may have a couple of hours to kill, so after taking some snaps of
   Cheryl, either head straight back to the Hideout, or do what you like
   until Isabela calls you at 10PM.

   After she calls, head into the Hideout, if you're not there already.

5. As a final act here, examine the desk where the monitors,
   Otis has left a note..........

   That bastard! As if it wasn't bad enough him calling at the WORST times
   throughout the past 3 days, the selfish turd has done a runner and left
   everyone else up shit creek! Let's hope he gets his in a cameo in the
   intro to DR2!........ Wouldn't you love that?!

6. Head back to Isabela at Carlito's Hideout.

7. Now, you now have until 10AM to do whatever you like, go after achievements,
   play with the zombies and special forces agents, or just leave Frank in a
   safe place and let the game run for 10 hours (in-game hours of course!)
   whilst you do something more/less productive (don't masturbate whilst
   the game is left running, it gives me a weird image. O_o )

   I suggest going for some of the Special Forces related achievements,
   remembering to carry lots of food, or just a few pieces of food and
   a Health book or two.

   NB: WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT let the Special Forces guys catch you!
   (they'll tie Frank up and strip him - as appealing as this sounds, it will
   mean you miss out on Ending A - which is partly what this play-through and
   FAQ are trying to achieve!) If you're having problems killing them, the
   disembowel move works brilliantly on them (stand in front of them and
   press X + A together).

   NB 2: Hella Copter Achievement
   Not the easiest of achievements, since the helicopter files bullets, and
   periodically, missiles too. The best weapon is, of course the Mega-Buster,
   but also the Special Forces machine guns work just fine too, although
   they're not as powerful of course.

   The best vantage point is on top of the picnic area in the Leisure Park,
   simply jump on the shoulders of a nearby zombie and jump up on the roof,
   this way, you're out of the way of the undead all around you.

   Apparently, you can take out the pilot with a sniper shot, if you are good
   at that kinda thing, by all means go for it that way. I'm absolutely
   terrible at steady sniper shots (probably the D.T's or something).
   So I chose to blast the helicopter with the Mega-Buster whenever it flew
   directly towards me overhead.


8. 10AM - Isabela calls to ask you to come back to the Hideout ASAP, if
   you're not already there. So head back.

10. So, head back to the Security Room and to the roof and wait on the
    helipad for your ride to arrive at 12PM. The mall is kind eerie now
    it's completely empty, huh?.....

   it's curtains for him to, but Isabela has can cook up something to help, if
   Frank can get the items needed before he becomes a Zombie!

2. So head out of the Hideout, we're going to get the items on our
   little shopping list.

3. The mall is now Zombie-less, but you still have to deal with the military
   who are still around, and their automated drones, who if they spot you will
   sound an alarm to alert the Special Forces guys, so take out the drones
   whenever you see them (a shot or two from a gun will do the trick).

   Finally! Over 3 days cooped up in a mall and just now we get to go shopping!

   The items needed and their locations throughout the Mall,
   in the most convenient route in which to obtain them are:


   1. FIRST AID KIT................ Located: Seon's Food Market (North Plaza)

   The First Aid Kit is located in the Pharmacy, where the medicine we got for
   Brad is located (all items needed for the antidote have a blue item-marker).

   After you get the First Aid Kit head back out of Seon's, and Isabela's
   motorcycle is conveniently parked outside, so hop on it and ride down
   to Wonderland Plaza.



   2. MAGNIFYING GLASS............. Located: Wonder Jewels (Wonderland Plaza)

   The Magnifying Glass is located at the back of Wonder Jewels on a counter,
   which is on the ground floor across from the toilets. Grab it, and then
   hop back on your bike and ride down to the Food Court.



   3. BLENDER............................ Located: Frozen Dreams (Food Court)

   The Blender is located behind the counter at 'Frozen Dreams' Ice-Cream Shop.
   Grab it, and now we're heading to Paradise Plaza, through the Leisure Park, 
   which is still full of zombies.

   NB: If you see any Queen-infested undead, grab the Queens, they will
   come in handy shortly.



   4. COLD SPRAY........................ Located: SporTrance (Paradise Plaza)

   The Cold Spray is located on the first floor of SporTrance (across from
   Columbian Roastmasters), right near the entrance on the floor next to
   one of the aisle).



   5. DEVELOPING SOLUTION............ Located: Cam's Cameras (Paradise Plaza)

   In Cam's Camera's, next to the Warehouse entrance, behind the counter.



   6. PERFUME BOTTLE.,. Located: Estelle's Fine Lady Cosmetics (Entrance Plaza)

   The Perfume Bottle is in 'Estelle's Fine Lady Cosmetics', which is on the
   first floor, top of the escalators, on the shelf on the central pillar.



   7. CAMP STOVE................... Located: Sports High (Entrance Plaza)

   The Camping Stove is located in 'Sports High', which is at the far end of
   the Entrance Plaza, just inside the store on one of the shelves behind
   the cardboard stand-up at the front.



   8. COFFEE FILTERS.................... Located: The Security Room (The Roof)

   Head upstairs from the sport store and through the door to the
   Security Room, which is now opened (I guess Otis didn't do such a hot job on
   the welding as we thought!) The final item, the Coffee Filters, are on the
   main desk.

   Now to get back to Isabela at the Hideout, it's up to you which way you go,
   I went back into the Entrance Plaza, and rode the bike that is in
   'Sports High' at the back near the tent.

1. Isabela needs 10 Queens, the only place to get them now is the Leisure Park
   and Maintenance Tunnels. If you don't still have it, the photography book
   from the store across the way from the Warehouse entrance in Paradise Plaza
   comes in handy here for identifying from a far which Zombies are carrying
   Queens. (They show with a green PP marker above their head).

   In the interests of time, I suggest having at least 5 free item slots
   (if you have the maximum amount of item slots for Frank, that means you can
   still carry a weapon or two, some food, the photography book - I also
   suggest carrying one of the Health books which will increase the potency
   of any food items you have). Basically, this means only 2 trips back to
   Isabela to deliver the Queens.

   Whilst in the Leisure Park, head out to the Clock Tower where the
   helicopter wreckage is for another cut-scene.

2. Run around the Clock Tower, and you will find the Generator
   (with a blue item icon), grab it for later. Now the helicopter is back
   flying over the Leisure Park, you also have to be aware of that, as it
   will fire both bullets and missiles at you.

3. Return to Isabela with the generator and your first batch of Queens, she
   takes the generator first, then you have to have the Queen equipped in order
   to give it her, yes, each one separately! 

4. You'll notice on your back out after your first trip to Isabela, that the
   Helicopter has taken out all the zombies in the Leisure Park, and the
   Special Forces, whilst still around, haven't done quite the bang up job on
   the clean-up operation inside the Mall as it first seems, which is kinda of
   good news, since it means you can get the rest of the Queens from inside
   the Mall, without having to deal with the Helicopter (if it's still there
   and you didn't take it down again).

  When you have give Isabela the 10 Queens needed........

   Arrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh! So now we have to walk through this dark, tunnel,
   hip to hip with thousands of Zombies! Save your game here on their steps
   before anything else.

1. Take Isabela by the hand and onwards we go. It helps to walk, not to run
   whilst holding hands with Isabela, as it gives her perfume time to knock
   back the Zombies without you rushing into them and them separating you both.

2. Walk up to the large gate and to the left is a circular drain shaft, open
   the grill for Isabela to crawl through and whilst she is on the other side
   opening the large gate, you have to fend off the zombies by yourself, your
   best defence here is the Double Lariat move (Click down the left stick and
   press X together). Through the gate, carry on going using the raised
   platforms to your advantage (Isabela is OK to walk through the zombies
   as she repels them). Go through the next gate at the end.

3. There are a few weapons around, knives and rocks, and if you see any
   Queen-infested Zombies, stop to get the Queen and throw it into the
   crowd to clear a path.

4. Carry on along the tunnel and you reach another gate, where Isabela
   can climb through the side shaft to open, after which the tunnels
   takes a sharp descent.

5. After the cut-scene, save your game.

   Now the pheromone isn't as powerful, you can give Isabela a piggy back,
   but I found it easier to direct her like any other Mall survivor. 

   If you have a Queen on you, throw it into the crowd below to clear the
   way, now run to the end, take the left path, and go up the steps to your
   the right. At the top is a lever to raise the gate, activate it.

   Go back down the stairs, and through the gate, be careful, there are
   Special Forces guys here, there's also some food, some apples, on the
   right of the right-hand side stone wall, which you can also walk over to
   the opposite side where the jeep is, get in the jeep when you've gathered
   any food you want (eat it now if you need it, as this is your last chance).

   This is probably my least favourite part of the game, it seems to take
   a long time. Basically you have 3 areas of the tank you need to concentrate
   your fire on, all three have green lights so you can spot them easily:
   The two green 'headlights' at the front on either side, the missile launcher
   that pops out of the turret - When this pops up, concentrate your fire on it,
   in order to prevent it firing back at you.

   Periodically, the tank will release drones, or fire off 4 homing-missiles.
   Dispose of these ASAP, and return your fire to the main target: The Tank.

   Here it is, the finale, the big boss, and in my opinion, the sickest fuck
   in the game. Leader of the Special Forces team; Brock.

   It's unarmed combat here, so use Frank's special moves to their advantage. 
   The easiest method to dispose of Brock is to step down off the turret onto
   the main body of the tank and use flying kicks followed by the swift kick
   Frank does (Jump, X and then X as he lands) Brock usually blocks the flying
   kick, but the standing kick does a good amount of damage.

   If he does knock you down off the tank, get back up as soon as possible.
