Mass Effect
Question from DouglasFett
Asked: 2 years agoHey folks. I'm having an issue with the "UNC: Colony of the Dead" quest. After clearing out the facility located atop the plateau, the game goes to the loading screen, and never stops loading. After a few minutes the game plain up and freezes on me.
This has never happened to me, I've played roughly six or so characters and this is the first time I've run into this glitch. Fortunately, I saved outside that particular facility, so I'm going to clear the other two compounds and see if that changes anything.
Anyway, has this happened to anyone else?

Ok. Did a test. Cleared the other two facilities first, THEN the one on the plateau. Still loaded a bit slowly while exiting, but it did not freeze on me. If anyone has this same problem, just do that. Two on the ground first, then the one on the plateau.

statusWell, it could be anything... It could be your xbox, it could be a bad downloadble content glitch, or it could be your disc... The cause is unknown... Well unless you narrow it down...
For example:
Xbox plays up with other games: Then the reason for the crash is because your xbox is faulty.
Disk has scratches: Then it's most likely your disk.
If none of ^^ these are happening, it is the downloadble content glitch.
If you have problems with freezes/unreadability I just installed my ME disc to my hard drive. I bought mine at a pawn shop, borrowed a friends, saved his to my hard drive and used mine and it still works.
