    			==={  STORY  }===

(taken straight from the game's intro)

"You have been chosen to represent Earth in Mortal Kombat. Be
warned, for although your souls are safe from Shao Kahn's evil,
your lives are not. I can no longer interfere as your Earth is
now rules by the Outworld Gods..."

"These are the words of Rayden"

"For centuries Earth has used Mortal Kombat to defend itself
against the Outworld's emperor, Shao Kahn. But Kahn grows
frustrated by failed attempts at taking Earth through tournament
battle. He enacts a plan which began 10,000 years ago."

"During this time, Shao Kahn had a queen. Her name was Sindel,
and her young death was unexpected. Kahn's shadow priests, led
by Shang Tsung, make it so Sindel's spirit would someday be
reborn: not on the Outworld, but on the Earth realm itself.
This unholy act gives Shao Kahn the power to step through the
dimensional gates and reclaim his queen thus enabling him to
    finally seize the Earth realm."

"Upon branching the portal into Earth, Shao Kahn slowly transform
the planet into a part of the Outworld itself. Kahn strips the
Earth of all human life: claiming every soul as his own. But
there are souls which Kahn cannot take. These souls belong to
the warriors chosen to represent Earth in a new Mortal Kombat."

"The remaining humans are scattered throughout the planet. Shao
Kahn sends an army of fierce Outworld warriors to find and
    eliminate them."

"After the first tournament, Sonya Blade turned up missing. Jax
then embarked on a rescue mission into the Outworld. He found
Sonya being held with her nemesis Kano. In freeing Sonya, Jax
also frees Kano. Kano then uses the chance to escape arrest."

"The Ultimate Advancement in Lin Kuei technology comes with the
creation of the firt cyber assassins. They begin converting their
human ninjas into souless machines. But Sub-Zero refuses to take
part and is marked for death by his own clan."

"After winning the first Mortal Kombat and escaping from the
Outworld, Liu Kang looks to the future. He begins training a
new generation of Shaolin alongside Kung Lao. But nothing
could prepare them for the unexpected Outworld invasion."

    		==={  FINISHING MOVES  }===

The most unique feature of any Mortal Kombat game is the finshing moves which
could be perform to finish off your opponent or do other things to your
opponent after winning a match. Remember that at the end of a winning match,
once you make your final blow to your opponen's life bar, they will fall then
immedaitely get dizzy with Shao Kahn shouting the key words, "Finish Him/Her!"
During this time you will only had a few quick seconds to complete a finishing
command in able to make it work.

    Fatalities:

These can only be done after Shao Kahn shout, "Finish Him/Her!" in the winning
round and in the correct distance on the screen.

    Pit Fatality:

These can only be perform at Scorpion's Lair, the Subway, the Bell Tower, and
the Pit 3 stage. To knocked opponent off you must be near your opponent after
Shao Kahn shout, "Finish Him/Her!" in the winning round.

    Animality:

These can be done after performing a Mercy! in the third winning round after
Shao Kahn shout, "Finish Him/Her!" After that, beat the opponent once more and
this time input the Animality on the correct distance. It should work. (This
finishing move is not available on the Super NES and Sega Genesis versions of
    Ultimate MK3).

    Friendship:

These can be perform almost anywhere on the screen after Shao Kahn shout,
"Finish Him/Her!" in the winning round provided you never use Block during that
    round.

    Babality:

Unlike Friendship, these can be perform anywhere on the screen after Shao Kahn
shout, "Finish Him/Her!" in the winning round provided you never use Block
    during that round.

    Brutality:

Unlike all finishing moves above, Brutality is a finishing combo in which player
must perform by doing a button sequence simply by pressing a series of attack.
It could only be done after Shao Kahn shout, "Finish Him/Her!" in the winning
round. (This finishing move is only exclusive to the Super NES and Sega Genesis
    versions of Ultimate MK3).

    Mercy:

To give mercy to your opponent, you must beat your opponent on the third winning
round (your opponent must win at least one round before this), and after Shao
Kahn shout "Finish Him/Her!, immediately hold down the Run button while standing
at a far distance from your opponent, from there quickly press Down on the
joystick about three or four times then release Run. You should hear Shao Kahn
say the name of your character and remind you that you had just give mercy to
your opponent. Giving Mercy to an opponent allowed him or her to resume fight
with very little health. After you beat your opponent the second time; however,
you would be allow to perform Animality or any finishing manuvers you desire.
(Mercy could not be perform in the Sega Genesis version of Ultimate MK3).

    Note:

You will only get five seconds to perform a finishing moves (two seconds in the
Sega Genesis version), if after your seconds are up and you couldn't get the
command to work, your dizzy opponent will get spare and fall instantly down to
the ground clean. If you do get the finishing move to work, the screen will turn
dark and an action of the finishing manuver will take place. Of all the
finishing moves mention above, the pit fatality is the only finisher that
doesn't turn the screen dark since it serve more as a knocked out move instead.

    		==={  DISTANCES  }===

When performing a finishing move you need to know the right distance required
for some of them, here are the ones most arcade players are familiar with...

    Close:

Standing next to opponent, the same distance in which you could hit or combo
your opponent. This distance is used the most when performing a Pit fatality.

    Sweep Distance:

About two feet away from opponent, it's the distance where you can't hit your
opponent but could still foot sweep them. An example of this is Liu Kang's
    animality.

    Outside Sweep:

About three to four feet away from opponent, the distance where you can jump
over your opponent to the opposite side as well as the distance where you can't
foot sweet your opponent. An example of this is Nightwolf's friendship.

    Jump Distance:

The same distance where you can forward flip jump to get near your opponent but
not to the other side. An example of this is Scorpion's Toasty fatality.

    Half Screen:

About one feet outside jump distance. You should still not be near your opponent
if you make a forward flip jump at this distance. An example of this is Sonya's
    Purple Bubble fatality.

    Far Away:

The distance as far away from the opponent as possible even outside of Half
Screen. For this distance, it would have to at least take you two forward flip
jumps to reach near your opponent. An example of this is Mileena's Nail Spit
    fatality.

    Anywhere:

Any of the above distances. This applies to babality the most as they could be
perform near or away from opponent.

    		==={  KOMBAT ZONES  }===

    Jade's Desert:

An arena stage with desert landscape and terrains in the backdrop. This
stage was based on Cyrax's original MK3 ending which shown him malfunction
and stuck on a desert wasteland. You could also cite him in this stage as
well whether you play as Cyrax or not. You also witnesses it changes from
night to day before the first round when accessing this stage, in truth it's
actually just the loading and not a feature in the game. In the arcade and
it's many emulation ports, this stage becomes a substitute level for the
    missing Bank stage from MK3.

    Scorpion's Lair:

An underground dungeon with skull chambers and a lava lake in the backdrop.
A skull entrance was also seen from the left corner of the stage. This stage
was based on Dante's Inferno in his description of hell. Though no demons
are cited, you could pit fatality your opponent into the lava lake for a
hellish punishment. This stage was also again see in Scorpion's ending in
MK4/MK Gold as well as the intro movie in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
Besides being a Pit Fatality level, you could also knocked your opponent to
    Kahn's Kave from here.

    Kahn's Kave:

A dark arena cave with the MK dragon logo on the floor and the emperor in his
throne in the distance. This stage was based on the final battle scene from
the Mortal Kombat live action film (without the spikes and shadow priests).
If you uppercut your opponent while fighting in Scorpion's Lair, you'll
continue the fight in this level. In the 16-Bit versions, this stage was
contrast a bit darker for player to be able to camouflage in the background
    as Noob Saibot.

    Waterfront (River Kombat):

A background with your character fighting at the side of a waterfront with
two toll bridges from either corners leading into the entrance of the
disastrous city in Mortal Kombat 3.

    The Lost World (Scislac Busorez):

A bridge level similar to the Pit 3 and features a giant blue portal in the
backdrop as well as another bridge in the distance similar to MKII's Pit II.
There are also some Pit II looking mountains on opposite corners of the stage
as well. In the arcade, Sega Saturn, PS2, X-Box Live Arcade, and Nintendo DS
versions, all three hidden characters, Mileena, Ermac, and Classic Sub-Zero
must be unlocked in able to add this stage to the Kombat Zone cycle. This
stage could also be permanently played forever by just playing through the
whole game as Human Smoke and it's also the stage you'll fight Human Smoke
at through vs. kombat kode. In the 16-Bit versions, this stage is a permanent
level among the other four exclusives to Ultimate MK3.

    The Subway:

An underground stage with subway tracks from one end to the other. You could
cite some Boon/Tobias reference and a few attractions here. Besides that, you
could also pit fatality your opponent to the other side of the subway track
to get rammed over by an oncoming Subway. Besides being a Pit Fatality level,
you could also knocked your opponent to the Street level from here. Since the
Sega Genesis version lack the Street stage, it's the only version of the
Subway stage that you could permanently fight without changing level in-game.
This stage was not found in the Super NES version of Ultimate MK3.

    The Street:

A windy lonesome street on a disastrous city now rule under Kahn. While
playing in this stage, you could cite Kahn's fortress in the backdrop with the
spinning red portal above it. There are also papers and litters flying around
and some street lanterns and an underground stairway to the Subway seen in the
backdrop. Also the Bank level could be seen in the right side corner of this
stage. The building from the left side was never explore. If you uppercut your
opponent while fighting in the Subway, you'll continue the fight in this level.
This stage was not found in the 16-bit versions.

    The Bank:

An indoor level featuring a hallway to the counter inside an urban bank.
There are also various windows with Kahn's fortress seen in one of them. When
playing in this stage, you could also knocked your opponent to the Rooftop
level from here. This stage could only be played in the Sega Genesis and Sega
Saturn version of Ultimate MK3. In the arcade and it's emulation ports, this
stage was drop due to memory limitation. Because of that instead of fighting
in this stage, the fight would revert to Jade's Desert before continuing the
cycle to the Rooftop level. This stage was not found in the Super NES version
    of Ultimate MK3.

    Rooftop:

An outdoor level on top of the Bank stage, from here you could cite Kahn's
fortress beyond the backdrop and a slightly disastrous view of the city, a
spinning red portal is also seen and two gargoyle statues was also cited from
either corners of the level. In the Sega Genesis and Sega Saturn port of
Ultimate MK3, if you uppercut your opponent while fighting in the Bank stage,
you'll continue the fight in this level. This is also the same stage you'll be
fighting Motaro at in the Super NES port of Ultimate MK3 since the Balcony was
    dropped from that version.

    Bridge:

A street bridge level similar to the Street stage. Like the Street, you'll see
tons of flying litters, newspapers, and various wastes. A sunset landscape is
also seen in the backdrop. If you uppercut your opponent from the Soul Chamber
to the Balcony after this, you'll return to this stage throughout the cycle
unless you play through the Soul Chamber the entire match. This stage was not
    found in the 16-bit versions.

    Soul Chamber:

An underground lair featuring a demon skull with a spinning soulnado inside.
Cameos of various shadow priests are also shown. When playing in this stage in
the arcade, Sega Saturn and their many various emulation ports, you could also
knocked your opponent to the Balcony level from here. Since the Sega Genesis
version lack the Balcony, it's the only version of the Soul Chamber stage that
you could permanently fight without changing level in-game. This stage was not
found in the Super NES version of Ultimate MK3. This stage was also recreated
with a 3D makeover in MK Gold for the Sega Dreamcast.

    Balcony:

A dungeon level similar to Goro's Lair, while fighting here, you could cite
Noob's lair in the backdrop as well as various centaurian statues in opposite
corridors of the stage. In the arcade, Sega Saturn, and their many various
ports, you fight Motaro here. This stage was not found in the 16-bit versions.
If uppercut from the Soul Chamber stage, you'll resume the fight here. This
stage would also reset the Kombat Zone cycle back to the Bridge level and back
to the Soul Chamber before reaching the Bell Tower.

    Bell Tower:

A bell tower build on top of a castle or building. A bright cite of the moon is
also seen and a staircase leading downward is also seen. You could also pit
fatality your opponent in this stage to the spike bed below in similar way to
the original pit fatality found in the first Mortal Kombat game. This stage was
not found in the 16-bit versions.

    The Temple:

A church-like temple with candles and stonehedges seen in the backdrop. You
could also cite some church design windows in many parts of the level. This
stage was not found in the Super NES version of Ultimate MK3.

    The Graveyard:

A cemetery stage with stone graves in the backdrop. A few cites of shadows,
trees, hills, villages, and the gate way to the temple stage is found. Some
references to Johnny Cage and the Midway team is also cited. This stage is only
found in the arcade, Sega Saturn, and their many emulation ports. Although
there are a few rumors and a message hinting of Rains's existence in this stage,
no facts or evidence had being proven to support those which still made Rain a
scrap character in the arcade, Sega Saturn and it's many emulation ports.

    Pit 3:

A bridge level inside Kahn's fortress with some elder gods attraction seen in
the backdrop. On the lower level, you'll cite some spinning spikes that could
instantly send opponent to their death. From opposite corners sit the emperor's
throne without the emperor. In every versions of this game just like MK3 before
it, you will always fight Shao Kahn here. Besides being a boss level, you could
also pit fatality opponent to the spinning spikes below. After this stage, the
main Kombat Zone cycle will restart back to Jade's Desert after playing this in
the arcade, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, and emulation ports. On the Super NES
version, this stage serve only as a hidden boss level instead.

Noob Saibot's Dorfen (Boon Tobias's Forden):

A dungeon level similar to Goro's Lair. This stage is a knockoff of the Balcony
stage without the walls and attractions. In the arcade, Sega Saturn, and their
many emulation ports, you fight Noob Saibot here. In those same versions, you
could also play in this stage through a vs. kombat kode (which you can't in the
original MK3 game). This stage was not found in the 16-bit versions.

    The Hidden Portal:

Another bridge level similar to the Pit 3, in this stage you fight at a bridge
with a red portal in the backdrop. A few destiny towers and a burst of
    electrical
static was also seen. This stage could originally be access when fighting cyborg
Smoke in MK3 through vs. kombat kode. On the Sega Saturn, this stage could only
be access through a GameShark code. This stage makes an official return in MK
Trilogy for the N64 and was later remake for MK: Deception on next generation
    consoles.

HK, LP, RN, and LK on the Sega Saturn controller to enter any of the desire
slots. HP will change the first slot, BL will change the second slot, HK will
change the third slot, LP will change the fourth slot, RN will change the fifth
slot, and LK will change the last slot. Once a code is enter and enable, player
will no longer be required to enter it again unless the game is reset. Unlike
vs. kombat kode, once all UKK codes are enter, the UKK screen will no longer
    appear before a Game Over.

    * Enable Mileena ====================== 700 - 723
    * Enable Ermac ======================== 964 - 240
    * Enable Classic Sub-Zero ============= 760 - 520

(Required only for the Nintendo DS version of Ultimate MK3):

To unlock one of three hidden characters, you must enter any one of these
ultimate kombat kodes at the Ultimate Kombat Kode (UKK) screen. To access the
UKK screen, you must lose a one-player game, then let the game end after the
counter hit zero, after that you should be at the UKK screen with three
horizontal rows with five slots. To enter a code, player one must use the
stylus to tap the slots a number of corresponding times on the touch screen of
the Nintendo DS. Once a code is enter and enable, player will no longer be
required to enter it again unless the game is reset. Unlike vs. kombat kode,
once all UKK codes are enter, the UKK screen will no longer appear before a
    Game Over.

    * Enable Mileena ====================== 2-2-2-6-4
    * Enable Ermac ======================== 1-2-3-4-4
    * Enable Classic Sub-Zero ============= 8-1-8-3-5

     			- FREE PLAY -

    (Sega Saturn version only):

At the title screen (the purple "Ultimate MK3 logo" screen with the skulls in
the background), press Up, Up, Right, Right, Left, Left, Down, Down. If you've
done it correctly, you'll hear Shao Kahn shout, "Excellent!" Now your credit
counter will be replace by the words "Free Play" which allowed you to continue
as many times as you want.

    Note:

This code also works at the copyright screen when the game first load as well as
the "There Is No Knowledge That Is Not Power" screen.

     			- ORIGINAL UNLOCK SMOKE TRICK -

    (Super NES version only):

The original unlock Smoke trick from the Super NES version of MK3 still works in
Ultimate MK3; however, it's rather useless since Smoke is already a selectable
character. To do this, you must hold Left + A at copyright screen, then when the
Williams screen appear, release Left + A and hold Right + B. Then when the
"There Is No Knowledge That Is Not Power" screen appear, release Right + B and
hold X + Y until the Ultimate MK3 title screen appears. Smoke will walk into the
screen and you'll hear Shao Kahn shout, "Outstanding!"

     			- RESTART TRICK -

    (Super NES version only):

While playing a One Player game, press START on the second controller, then hold
START on yours. When the Mode Select screen appear, choose "MORTAL KOMBAT" and
you can restart the fight with a new character without using continues.

     			- 8-MAN TOURNAMENT MODE -

    (Super NES version only):

To access the classic MK3 8-Man Tournament Mode, at the main menu, highlight
Sart Game, hold both the L and R trigger buttons and press START.

     			- FIGHT ALTERNATE COLOR OPPONENTS -

    (Super NES version only):

When playing a 2-on-2 multiplayer match, beat player 2 and have them quit, then
start a new game in one-player vs. CPU match as player 1. All the CPU opponents
you'll face will appeared wearing their alternate color outfit instead of their
    default one.

     			- PLAY AS ALTERNATE COLOR CHARACTER VS. CPU MATCHES -

    (Super NES version only):

When playing a 2-on-2 multiplayer match, beat player 1 and have them quit, then
start a new game in one-player vs. CPU match as player 2. The character who you
last play as will remain wearing their alternate color outfit throughout all the
    CPU matches.

     			- GLITCH SHEEVA -

    (Super NES version only):

While at the 8-Man Tournament Mode, highlight the first box, then hold Up and
press START to start a Random Select. If you happen to get an "E" box, that
means that the character on that box is a glitch Sheeva. She is playable but had
no special or finishing moves. Beware when using her though as she could crash
the game if not control properly.

    			- GLITCH STAGE -

    (Sega Genesis version only):

Beat the game with any character. When the green flames is coming out of Shao
Kahn's tower, press START on Controller 2. After that, select your character as
normal, then you'll be transported to a glitch stage where you fight in the air
    near Kahn's fortress.

     			- SKIP CPU MATCHES -

    (Sega Genesis version only):

While playing a one-player game, win your first match then on the second match
have the second player join in by pressing START. Then at Mode Select screen,
choose Mortal Kombat and press START on the first player controller. Now return
to the character select screen and choose your character. You'll return to the
destiny screen but instead of facing the same character you fought before, you
will immediately skip him or her and fight your next opponent. This trick will
continue to work as long as you don't lose a match and you could do this up
until you reach Motaro and Shao Kahn. Beware not to do this once your reach Shao
Kahn though otherwise you'll be facing an unlimited number of Kano matches
thereafter. This trick will only work after you won a match, if you happen to
lose to the CPU, you must beat that CPU opponent in that match and try the trick
    again in your next match.

     			- EASY FINISHERS -

    (Super NES version):

To easily initiate a finishing move in the Super NES version of Ultimate MK3,
you must first access the Kooler Stuff cheat menu, then turn on Quick Finish.
Once that is turn on, you could easily perform a finishing moves with the touch
of a button after Shao Kahn shout, "Finish Him/Her!" The button of the correct
    finishers are as follow:

    * Fatality #1 ========= Y Button
    * Fatality #2 ========= B Button
    * Pit Fatality ======== L Button
    * Animality =========== X Button (used to work in the original MK3)
    * Friendship ========== A Button
    * Babality ============ R Button
    * Brutality =========== Y Button (required kombat kode)

    Note #1:

For some reason, the initiate button for Animality serve no purpose in this
game, it was useful in the original Super NES version of MK3 but Williams
forgot to revise it. It was intend to replace the Animality finisher with the
Brutality but they didn't had much time to do that. Because of that, a
separate vs. kombat kode is required in able to do an easy one button
    Brutality finisher.

    (Sega Genesis version):

To easily perform a finisher in the Sega Genesis version of Ultimate MK3, you
must first access the Killer Code menu, then turn on the Quick Finish option to
any finishers of your choice, Fatality 1, Fatality 2, Animality, Babality, and
Friendship. Once one finisher is turn on, you could easily perform that
character's finisher with the finishing touch for example to perform Jade's
Babality, all you need to do is press HK. If the finisher is a fatality that
ended with a directional movement such as cyborg Smoke's Oblivion fatality, all
you need to do is set the option to Fatality #1 then stand in the correct
distance for the fatality and press Down on the directionl pad. It should work.

    Note #2:

The Animality finisher option for this game, like the Super NES version,
doesn't work and I don't know why Williams didn't replace this with the
Brutality. There are also no Brutality versus code for this version so if you
are going to perform a Brutality, you must do the button sequences. Also there
are no option to do a Pit Fatality so you must perform that with its move
    sequence as well.

Kombat, hold Up and press START to access a secret cheat menu. The secret cheat
menu will allowed you to enable Mileena, Ermac, and/or Classic Sub-Zero without

code is enter, all three cheat menus will appear simultaneously.

     			- PLAY AS HUMAN SMOKE -

    (All versions)

To play as Human Smoke, choose cyborg Smoke, then hold the corresponding buttons
    before any round begins...

    * For Player One ====== Hold Left on Joystick + HP + HK + BL + RN
    * For Player Two ====== Hold Right on Joystick + HP + HK + BL + RN

If done correctly, Smoke will explode and change into Human Smoke before the
    round starts.

    Note:

On the Sega Genesis version of Ultimate MK3, the code doesn't required the need
to hold the D-Pad. For the Game Boy Advance port, Human Smoke could only be
unlock by completing the Warrior tower at the "Choose Your Destiny" screen and
would only be available at the character select screen.

     			- PLAY AS NOOB SAIBOT AT THE ARCADE -

(only PLAYABLE on the WAVENET Ultimate MK3 machine)

To select Noob Saibot, you must start a two-player game, then choose Kano as
your character. Then before any round begins, press and hold HP + LP + BL + LK
and hold the Joystick away from your oponent. When the fight starts, Kano will
explode and change into Noob Saibot.

    Note:

This is not the Kano version of Noob Saibot as it was in MK3. In this game, Noob
Saibot doesn't had any of his special and finishing moves as he did in the Super
    NES and Sega Genesis versions.

     			- PLAY AS SHAO KAHN -

(Super NES, Sega Genesis, and Game Boy Advance versions)

To play as Shao Kahn, you must first enable the following cheats:

For the Super NES, you must first enable the Scott's Stuff (see cheat menus code
above) cheat menu, then access the menu and turn on the "Enable Shao Kahn"
option. Once he is enable, you could select him for play in a two-player game at
    the character select screen.

For the Sega Genesis, you must first enable the Killer Codes (see cheat menus
code above) cheat menu, then access the menu and choose to "Enable Shao Kahn."
Once he is enable, you could select him for play in a two-player game at the
    character select screen.

For the Game Boy Advance port, you must complete the Grand Master tower in one-
player mode. After completing that, Shao Kahn would be selectable at the
    character select screen.

     			- PLAY AS MOTARO -

(Super NES, Sega Genesis, and Game Boy Advance versions)

To play as Motaro, you must first enable the following cheats:

For the Super NES, you must first enable the Kooler Stuff (see cheat menus code
above) cheat menu, then access the menu and turn on the "Enable Motaro" option.
Once he is enable, you could select him for play in a two-player game at the
    character select screen.

For the Sega Genesis, you must first enable the Killer Codes (see cheat menus
code above) cheat menu, then access the menu and choose to "Enable Motaro." Once
he is enable, you could select him for play in a two-player game at the
    character select screen.

For the Game Boy Advance port, you must complete the Master tower in one-player
mode. After completing that, Motaro would be selectable at the character select
    screen.

    Note:

On the Sega Genesis version of Ultimate MK3, the cheat won't allowed both Motaro
and Shao Kahn to be enable simultaneously so players are left with only one boss
available for play in a two-player game whereas the Super NES version allowed
both to be enable and available for play in a two-player game though only one
player could choose them on both versions.

     			- PLAY AS CHAMELEON -

(Super NES and Sega Genesis versions)

To play as Chameleon, an unfinished palette swap secret character in Ultimate
MK3, you must access the following codes using a cheat device:

    (For Super NES):

    Enter Pro Action Replay Codes

    For Player One:

    * 7E36D019
    * 7E52C819

    For Player Two:

    * 7E389419
    * 7E52CA19

    Note #1:

Unlike the Sega Genesis version of Chameleon, the Super NES version had Rain's
name in the health bar, but had Scorpion's color palette, appearances, and
combos and is non-glitchy. Like the Sega Genesis version, he lack special and
    finishing moves.

    (For Sega Genesis):

    Enter Game Genie Codes

    * BMTA-AWBA to enter the center dragon box from the left side at the
      character selection screen.

      Then enter

    * DHST-AAG6 to access Chameleon in that dragon box.

    Note #2:

Unlike the Super NES version of Chameleon, the Sega Genesis version had his name
fully printed on his health bar and had Kano's picture at the vs. screen and is
very glitchy at times. Like the Super NES version, he had all of Scorpion's
appearances, vs. screen palette, and combos but lack special and finishing
    moves.

    Note #3:

Chameleon doesn't had any official storyline, ending nor could he be found or
unlock in-games. He could be played only through a cheat device and no other.

    		=== { VERSION DIFFERENCES } ===

I know most of you may get confuse with all the different versions of the
same title being release so here are the many differences both in appearance,
contents, and features of each game.

    			(( ARCADE ))

    * Doing a Roundhouse Kick in a corner now pushes your character a few feets
    back.

    * All MK3 stages returns with the exception of the red Hidden Portal and the
    Bank
      stage.

    * Sheeva is fully playable.

    * Noob Saibot is no longer a shadowy Kano.

    * Noob's Dorfen can now be access for play via vs. kombat kode.

    * Dan Forden now shout Crispy! and Frosty! alongside Toasty!

    * The skull entrance from the left side of Scorpion's Lair can be seen.

    * The Lost World stage could only be access after unlocking all of the three
hidden characters or by playing as Human Smoke throughout your game.

    * Mileena, Ermac, and Classic Sub-Zero required UKK to unlock.

    * Animality are available.

    * Only Scorpion, Jade, Kitana, and Reptile's bios are shown in attract mode.

    * Can't play as Rain and Noob Saibot; however, some players actually know a
    special
code to play as Noob Saibot; but it only works on a WaveNet arcade machine. If
you want to find that kind of machine, go to any malls or shopping centers in
Chicago, San Francisco, or New York City and you'll likely find one.

    * Still fight Motaro at the Balcony stage and Noob Saibot in Noob's Dorfen.

    * An introduction demo was shown with characters such as Rain, Shao Kahn, Human
Smoke, Noob Saibot, and many others beating the crap out of each other.

    * New Animality was given to Scorpion, Kitana, Reptile, Jade, and Mileena (the
    only
      hidden character to have one).

    * Kano could now perform a vertical rising Cannon Ball and Stryker could now
    use his
Riot Gun from MK3; however, he had a slight delay when throwing any of his
    grenades.

    * Human Smoke could only be access after choosing cyborg Smoke.

    * When playing in the 8 Players Tournament Mode, if cyborg Smoke transform into
    Human
Smoke at any round during that tournament and survive, he will not remain as
    Human
Smoke after each match throughout that mode unless the code is held down each
    time.

    * The fight Smoke vs. kombat kode now lets you fight Human Smoke instead of
    cyborg
      Smoke like in MK3.

    * When playing as Human Smoke in one-player mode, his picture at the destiny
    screen
will appear as a hidden "?" picture which was not seen at the character select
      screen.

    * All the characters endings are now in-game text with their vs. screen
    portrait shown
instead of render art pictures like in MK3.

    * When Shao Kahn was defeated, he only cycle through the five new stages, not
    the MK3
      ones.

    * Also when Human Smoke is participating in the 8 Players Tournament Mode, he

    recognize
      it more as a port.

    * The character select screen is still the same as the Super NES and Sega
    Genesis
version; however, Ermac and the dragon logo now switch position in this
    version.

    * Each character only had one fatality and one friendship in this game and all
    are
      difficult to execute.

    * There are no vs. kombat kodes in this game even if you play head to head

    Answer:

    * Officially no, but a glitch version of her does does exist but beware she is
very glitchy and could crash the game, see Glitch Sheeva above to find her.

    Question:

    * Where could I find the PS2 version of Ultimate MK3?

    Answer:

    * Dude, where's the combos?

    Answer:

    * Combos are not that important to me so if you want to find out how to do them
or how many there are either try them for yourself or read the other FAQs.

    * There's no Brutalities in Ultimate MK3, I can't believe you made these up?

    Answer:

    * Brutalities does exist in Ultimate MK3 that is if you got the Super NES and

    Answer:

    Question:

    * Which is the best version of Ultimate MK3?

    Answer:

    * He's an unfinished palette swap ninja character similar to Scorpion in the
    Super
NES and Sega Genesis version of Ultimate MK3. He could only be play through
    the
use of a cheat device such as a Pro Action Replay or a Game Genie. Since he's
just a scrap character, he could only perform basic attacks, a few combos
    borrow
from other ninja characters, and no finishing moves besides the mercy sequence
      in the Super NES version.
