Question from hunterx908
Where can I find unlimitied caps or alot?
I need lots of caps and i need the chinese stelth suit and how do i get a super mutuent on my team. because my friend has one.also about how much hp do you get when you eat a corpse?thx =3
This question is open with pending answers, but none have been accepted yet
- Whenever in a dungeon of any sort, or just in DC, kill any Super Mutants or whatever is available and loot their corpses, also, only use one gun and sell all other ammos you pick up as they don't take up space.
- The Chinese Stealth Suit is in the Vault of the military installation after you complete Operation Anchorage.
- You get Fawkes after you complete the Vault 87 quest in the main questline, so long as you have good karma and are nice to him
- And, since I'm such a saint, I've never eaten any corpses, so you'll have to figure that one out yourself, just go eat a corpse and look to see how much it restores.
When you eat a corpse it restores 25 health, adds 2 rads of radiation, and reduces karma by 1 point.
There are a lot of ways to make money. Im an expert at it. The first thing you need to do is raise your repair skill all the way so you dont have to pay for constant repairs and use the repairs to increase the value of what your selling. next is to raise your medicine skill so you get more health from every expensive stimpak. The master trader perk will save you alot of money later in the game. Misc items like sensor modules that are light and cost alot are good to sell because you can carry so much. The number one way to make money is to fight the enclave because the armor and weapons they have can go up to 2000 caps each (plasma rifles).
to eat corpses you need the canibal perk but other han that CGLefty is right
Well first off eating corpses and getting the super mutant are kinda hard to have at the same time. The same goes for making money. As gamerdj1210 said having a high repair is good so you don't have to pay for those. It can cost alot for repairs. Also if you want to go evil as I usually do for fun killing random wastelanders you find can bring in a lot of money and killing ghouls brings in some. Raising barter is good too but really what more will you need the money for if your selling a lot as barter decreases costs on merchandise as well. Also increasing speech to get better rewards for quests can be a big help. For example if you decide to blow up Megaton with speech you can talk burke up to paying you 1000 caps. You can do this with most any quest that a person offers to pay you for. I too am an expert at making money with an evil character atleast good character I have to work on a little.
I can tell you how to have unlimited caps, such as myself, but it takes a slight bit of work (This glitch is for xbox 360, I don't know if it will work for other systems)
1.) Get atleast 10 scrap metal and atleast 3 stealth boys
2.) Go to Fort Independence and trade Casdin all of your scrap metal
3.) Use a stealth boy and steal all 10 scrap metal back
4.) Trade Casdin 8 of 10 scrap metals from your inventory
5.) You should still have your stealth boy effect, steal all of the 8 scrap metal back and if you don't get caught, take something he will notice, such as his weapon
6.) He will then take all 10 of your metal but now you have an unlimited supply of scrap metal, specifically 8 since that's how much you had before you got caught stealing from him
7.) NOW trade Casdin as much scrap metal as you'd like, I suggest you don't go over 100
8.) Leave Fort Independence and wait a day, go back and steal all 100 scrap metal back
9.) Trade Casdin all 100 of your scrap metal
10.) Use a stealth boy and steal all 100 back
11.) Trade Casdin 98 scrap metal
12.) Steal all of your scrap metal back, and if he doesn't catch you steal his weapon so he does...
13.) You now have a permanent 98 scrap metal on your person
14.) Go to Megaton's water processing plant, provided you did the simple leaking pipes quest, (and didn't blow up megaton) and talk the old guy ( forgot his name) and trade him all your scrap metal for exp and caps and good karma, you will get 980 caps each time, and you can do this as many times as you want.
There is also another way to get inf caps you have to go to Paradise falls its in a squarish place made from roads in the northwestern part of the wasteland, when you get there there is a guy (i forgot his name but if you walk up he talks to you) and he gives you a quest to make 4 people slaves (Flak in Rivet City, Red in Bigtown, Susan Lancastar in Tenpenny Tower, and some old dude in Minefield) when you bring them in he gives you 250 caps each and when you turn them all in you will find a guard with a small mohawk, steal the key to the slave pen (go to the right side on the left there are children) and youll see a door go in it and you will find all the slaves talk to them and choose the dialogue option "im not gonna help you" (or something relatively close to that)" do that for each of them and go find the guy who I told you about in the beginning and talk to him again you can get 250 caps for each of the slaves you talk too do this as much as you want for unlimited caps (Note: im not sure if this works on the patched version from the Disc 2 of the Game of the Year Edition I have not tried it yet but if it doesn't work tell me please ok)
Pick up every bit of pre war money and sell it to merchants it gives u up to 10 caps and it is weightless so you can get as much as u want
There is a simpler way to make money - however it depends on the amount of money carried by the vendor. I'l go through it step-by-step:
1. Make sure the vendor you are trading with has two of a certain item (item must be repairable).
2. Buy the item in the worst condition.
3. Sell the item back to the vendor (it's better to have a vendor with a high Repair skill).
4. The vendor will repair the item. Continue buying it for the same price - and then sell it back to the vendor for an increased prices until you've bled the trader dry.
@ dannysayride: Having 98 scrap metal is a terrible idea... How could expect to carry items with all that extra weight? sorry for putting your answer down. i really just meant to respectfully disagree.
